Baker Sanctuary is a bird watching area around the Edwards Aquifer of the Galcones Canyonlands Preserve. It is managed as part of the Travis Audubon organisation, providing grounds for members to enjoy hiking trail through the reserve while watching for various birdlife including the Golden-cheeked Warbler. We didnt see this prized Texas native but enjoy the plenty of wildflowers on display, a couple of rabbits, numerous other birds as well as tunnelling grass spiders and other interesting insect species. It was a nice hour out in the hill country, a place birdwatchers can greatly appreciate.
