Ordered a refrigerator almost 3 weeks ago for an install in the 16th. That morning they notified us that they havent received the fridge, so we moved it to Sunday the 22nd. It is September 20th, Friday, and they have still not received the fridge. How is that possible?! All they can tell us is It says its been shipped.... step up and order another one that will be here on time because obviously the first one is lost! You have our money but we have nothing in return.

People who work here do not understand their price matching policy or are applying inconsistently. I previously got an item available on Walmart.com price matched at this store but today I went there to buy an item with price match on Amazon.com. They refused to price match it saying that they only price match with in store items. I not sure if its worth coming here again next time as I dont want to keep guessing what they will do if I need a price match.

The service at this store has declined across the board. No one seems to care anymore. The customer service people and pro service people used to be kind and helpful but now a simple question bothers them collectively. I guess its the world we live in now. Sad. Customer service answered the phone and before I even got a chance to ask a question just left it off the hook!! I could hear her entire conversation! Just couldnt be bothered to help a customer!

This Lowes will no longer honor online prices in store. This is for in-stock items from Lowes own website. You have to order online for in store pickup if you want the website price. Plant selection was poor, asked where something was to be told one of two isles and it was on neither nor were those isles even related to what I asked for. Prices always waaayyy too high. Employees watch you as you walk by like you are in a prison yard being sized up.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. From lack of customer service to product selection, this place has got to be the worst. I thought I d give it another chance today due to proximity from my home and unsurprisingly it was still as bad as usual. I ll happily be driving the extra 5 miles to the other big home improvement store and I would suggest everyone else to as well.

Receiving is the worst. Forget it if you are running ahead because sister stores were on their game! Doesnt matter if you have 1 item or a truckload, you will have to wait. Gosh forbid you grant them grace because they ran late on your appointment last time.....no grace will be given to you here. AND none of the 3 receiving personnel are interested in doing their job....and then they were grinning as i walked away. I deliver to Lowes stores in a 6 state area all week long amd have never been treeated as how this store does trucks. They follpw policy but yet unload you outside of their gate?? But no worries because this is MY store..as per Ginzaler Jose and things are done MY way here.

If I have option to give -10 star I would. I spend around $2000 with 2 big appliances and bought 5 years protection plan for each. The sales person sold us on anything happened or wrong with the machine, the parts and labor are covered. My $800 dishwash is 4 years old and the physical start the wash button sink into the machine over time due to years of usage. The machine still works perfectly but I want to get the issue fixed before the button completely sink into the machine. I called Lowes and they told me the plan DOES NOT cover damage...; I told them this is not damage its years of using, the button is wearing out. The person from Protection Plan rejected my claim and wont honor the plan. So at this point I am assuming they wont honor my other protection plan in the future too, that is $400 that Lowes rob me blind. I will NEVER EVER shop at Lowes in my life! Buyers beware, dont support this company that wont honor what they sold. Its a scam to rob us middle class income families. Lowes should be a shame of their business practice. I should have went with Costco, lesson learned.

Most worthless lowes Ive ever been in. Waited for 20 minutes to get some carpet cut, had random employees page 4 times, I called while in the store to finally get someone over. I needed 35 feet, they showed 36 feet on the roll but told me they probably didnt have enough... didnt even try and measure what she had.... everyone in the store walked around like customers were bothering them. I went to the store yesterday to purchase a few things . I got into my tru, k, and when I turned the truck , n sawee a disable getleman tryintoro load pickets on his truck . I got o, and t I offer my help . At 1, t he said its . k I dont want you to get dirty . I said I dont mind at all it will be my pleasure. I asked why you didnt ask for anyone to help you load ? He told me I asked the guy at lowes when the Cedar pickets were, and he just told me pointing his finger right there . The manager, Gabby and customer service attendant Beth are both prejudice. I bought a water faucet to install. It did not come with the parts to install it correctly so took it back to Lowe s to find the parts. After talking to two plumbing employees neither could find the parts to install, the Lowe s brand faucet. So I went to the service desk to return it. The dark gentleman in front of me was returning a used $250 craftsman saw. Beth had no problem returning the saw and refunding the gentleman completely. I was next in line. As I approached the counter, beth extremely rudely told me she would be with me in one minute. I had my receipt for the item I was returning which the gentleman in front of me only had his receipt on his phone. Again, there was no issue returning his saw. Beth opened the box and saw that the water faucet I was returning was out of the plastic and had thread seal on the thread. That is because the faucet was actually put in place and almost installed, but because it did not come with the correct parts and Lowe s did not sell the correct parts I was returning it. Beth proceeded to give me a lecture. I asked her nicely not to lecture me because I had had a bad day and that the gentleman in front of me did not get a lecture. she continued to try to lecture me 4!different times. After the third time I started to raise my voice and then Gabby, the manager walked over to see what the problem was. She proceeded to tell me to calm down, which was the absolute wrong thing to say. she also helped in the return that was done prior to mine. No lecture was given to the dark gentleman that was returning the $250 saw. But both women really seem to love the opportunity to lecture me about the $34 water faucet I was returning. The main difference was I have white skin and my return was only $34 and the gentleman in front of me had dark skin and the item he was returning was $250 .

Bout a Whirlpool Quad door (WRQA59CNKZ) over a year ago, LED light already went out (which shouldn t go out that fast). Tried to call service to get it fixed but they won t help you unless you had bought their protection plan. In the owners manual it doesn t describe how to fix it yourself, just says to call a technician to get it fix (to spend more money). Called Whirlpool and their only solution to the problem is they will cut down the cost if you use their technician to get it fixed. Don t recommend buying this product unless you want to spend more money on it.

He tirelessly worked to fit a big vanity in my van, even going the next step to completely rearrange the toilets I already had in there. Truly truly amazing customer experience. I recently had a highly disappointing experience with Lowe s that left me questioning their commitment to customer service. My interaction with the paint department was far from satisfactory. When I pointed out that the same paint code at Sherwin-Williams produced the correct shade, but Lowe s version did not, I was met with frowns instead of helpful attitudes. Neither the paint department staff nor the supervisor showed any friendliness or willingness to address my concern. Overall, it seems Lowe s does not prioritize customer care. This experience has made me reconsider why I would shop here when other stores like Home Depot and IKEA offer much better service and customer satisfaction. I am very disappointed and unlikely to return to Lowe s in the future.

Veterans should AVOID this store: While checking out at the register, I asked employee, Rupert, to assist with accommodating for the military discount. Unfortunately, Rupert was condescending and unhelpful in providing the military discount. Upon asking for a manager, Rupert persistently avoided this request. I was eventually greeted by supervisor, April, who informed me that the WiFi was poor at the store and could not assist me with receiving a discount. After requesting assistance from April s supervisor, April reported that all of the managers were busy at the moment. After 25 minutes, I was eventually able to setup my military account. During this time, management neglected to check-in on my customer service experience and satisfaction. Additionally, Rupert returned to the counter with judgmental and patronizing remarks. I will not return to this store and would recommend that all veterans shop at Home Depot for appropriate and well-deserved military accommodations.

Former outside garden rep here, I can definitely say that lowes is nowhere near perfect and from what the lower than average reviews on here say you have to remember its retail. Not everything is accurate, and not everything is at its best. Coming from a person who worked there for 2 years outside in unpleasant conditions, its definitely not an easy place to work at. Advice I give to any future customers, remember to do your own homework and know what exactly you are searching for and, if possible, know the location as well. Help the associates help you. Calling the store helps too, saves on gas. Overall, the place has generally good employees with good attitudes, I know that because Ive made several strong friendships there. Overall, the Leander Lowes isnt bad but also isnt the best. My 4 star review represents one thing only, perfectction simply doesnt exist. Im no robot, just honest human words.

CSR did not understand how to process a defective item return and wanted to reject it because it was an open box and make me go through the manufacturers warranty instead. Rep also thought that power tools were under the 48-hour policy. Though it was accepted as a one-time exception this store is in need of some common sense and accept returns for defective items. Otherwise the store itself is organized and a good experience - just customer service is spotty.

Went in to get manure for my garden. The bay was empty but there were 2 pallets above. There was also a sign that said for your convenience you could pick it up outside. Paid for it and went outside. The girl said oh gosh I dont even know where that is. Another guy walked by and said it was inside. Told him the pallets were up in the steel. He said oh thats the mix not the manure. He said they were out. Although, the girl juat told me there were over 100 on hand. I went back in to garden cashier to get credited. Waited in line there for 10 minutes and then told I had to go inside to get a refund. 40 wasted minutes at Lowes. Im pretty sure they either didnt want to look for the manure or didnt want to get it down.

AVOID AVOID AVOID THIS STORE. Consistently abysmal service. Take your money literally anywhere else. Where to start?! The time I ordered an in stock stove for next day delivery, only to wait all day for it to never arrive, no phone calls, etc Or the time I ordered SIX new appliances that were supposed to arrive in a week that turned into 3 months, with ZERO updates about delays unless I called to ask. I was repeatedly gaslit by employees saying they had called me and given me updates, which was a total lie. Store management has changed a few times and yet the service has only gotten worse over the years. In the last 2 weeks alone: I had a question/issue with My Lowes/military and was passed around the store for 50 minutes to people who could NOT help me before being directed back to where I started to wait for a manager who never came. If I hadnt already spent so much time picking out OVER $500 of items, I would have left. A few days later I gave this store another chance when I came back to spend hundreds more in garden. The garden center gates were locked because there had been rain hours before, but it was still locked despite it, by then, being a nice day. A female employee told me it would be unlocked within 15 minutes, but 30 minutes later it was still locked. I watched at least FIFTY people come into the garden center from inside the store (or walk up to the locked gate and then leave because it was locked) during my 30 minutes there. I eventually left without buying the items I came for, since I wasnt willing to push giant cart loads of soil through the store and parking lot. And I wasnt about to ask the only employee there (a 60+ year old woman) to do it for me. At this point I probably should have given up on this store and taken my business elsewhere, but since I have worked retail, I understand that sometimes there are bad days with short staffing, so I gave the store yet another chance! The next day I called to make sure the garden center gates would be open before driving 25 minutes to come buy the items I tried to buy the previous day. It took 10 minutes on hold to reach someone. Today I called about a truck rental and spent 13 minutes on hold before an employee hung up my call without answering. Prematurely ending phone calls is also a consistent problem at this store. In the future I will warn people to avoid this store at all costs, and I will not buy so much as an outlet cover at this store ever again. Please support your local hardware stores and garden centers, like Ace Cashway, Hill Country Water Gardens, Red Barn, Farmers, etc. Youll pay a bit more, but they actually want your business, they arent clueless about the products they sell, they answer the phones, and they will provide the service and knowledge you need. AVOID THIS STORE.

So I went to Lowes and spent $2900.00 on several items and set up to have them delivered. Wow! I recommend not doing that. I have had the worst experience. Only one item out of the three was delivered without damage. Now Im waiting on them to pick up the damaged items,confirm the damage, and then hope they can ship it to me again without any damage. This process will end up taking over three weeks. Next time I will just borrow a trailer and do it myself. They did add a discount for the inconvenience. Thats why I gave two stars.

My local store in Bastrop TX said this store had 4x of the items I needed (Eaton CH 2 pole 60 Amp breakers - model number CH260). Lowe s online inventory said this store had 4x of the items I needed (Eaton CH 2 pole 60 Amp breakers - model number CH260). The front desk customer support human at this store said this store had 4x of the items I needed (Eaton CH 2 pole 60 Amp breakers - model number CH260). In the entire district, this was the only store that had nonzero inventory on the item I needed (Eaton CH 2 pole 60 Amp breakers - model number CH260). This item is not available for home delivery. This item is not available for store-to-store transfer. Imagine the disappointment my wife and I felt when we drove over one hour (one way) to discover this store did not have any inventory of the item I needed (Eaton CH 2 pole 60 Amp breakers - model number CH260). Bastrop s store also said it had 1x of the item I needed, but in reality had none of the item I needed. This inventory problem seems to transcend the store level. For this reason I no longer trust inventory reports in this district. I also actively refuse to shop at Lowe s within the district as a countermeasure for the disutility served to my household by this district. Key word: the customer service lady (maybe 50s and tall, tan skin color) is rude, mad, and racist I purchased around 500 blocks (bricks) in the store, and Lowe failed to deliver those blocks. So I visited the store in person, 4 times. Each time, they asked me to come again because they said they could not resolve this delivery issue. Today the 4th time, the customer service desk, did a very unprofessional thing. The tall lady, maybe at around 50s, keeps telling me to come again next Monday. I said I cannot come again forever, as I had already come here for 4 times - because Lowe deliverys fault. The lady seemed mad and behaved rudely - I was still standing in front of the desk, and she removed my computer bag and asked the next customer to come in to serve the next customer. I was surprised that Lowe is training their employee to talk to customers like this. This is discrimination and at least very bad in their attitude. I am sitting in my car and feel very unhappy about what I have experienced. Should I go to argue with those employees? I really want to, but I guess I should not waste time on those racists. Very bad impression of Lowes customer service. I went to HomeDepot for millions times and never get people talking to me like this.

Bought some chicken wire in the garden area @11am 12/3/23. The guy would not let me pay with a 100 bill. He said I dont think I have change. I asked him, well can you check. Then his answer changed to, I know I dont have change. He didnt check or anything. This is lowes, people come in with 100s of dollars everyday and he was happy to help the people in front of me. I wont be going here anymore, not with workers like this. So rude, all he had to do was check. Maybe not say I dont think, and then not check.... so if your paying with cash, go somewhere. Ok selection, lousy customer service, generally higher prices than their competition. Fella in the plumbing section said natural gas connections were the same as plumbing.... Different trip. I couldnt find anything in the plumbing dept. that I needed. The fitting bins were a real mess - I also needed a sheet of plywood cut in half widthwise. The guy split it lengthwise - they said that I had to buy it because I was unclear. (Widthwise 2 peices 4 x 4..?) I didnt buy anything. I left. I went to Home Depot and got everything I needed. Update 1123. Still a bunch of inept folk in the departments but the store is fairly organized - even after Black Friday!

I used to love Lowe s. They always had a higher quality than Home Depot, not anymore. This store is ALWAYS out of stock of items that should be standard. Go check out the isle with the P-trap parts, jumbled up disaster, items in the wrong bins with tons of out of stock items as well. Hardware, fasteners etc, either out of stock or incorrect items filled up in the wrong box. Almost every trip there leads to me having to go to another store to find what I need. It s 5 min from my house but I end up going all the way to Home Depot on Whitestone just to get what I need.

I used to buy a lot of items at this Lowes from hand tools to appliances. I recently purchased a dryer that was delivered to me. I found I no longer needed the dryer and attempted to return the item. It took me several days talking to the store before they finally told me the return window had ended. Apparently Lowe s policy is any appliance return has to be made within 48 hrs. Their new technique is being difficult to talk to for 48 hrs then saying sorry your too late. This is a ridiculous policy and the fact no one can answer any questions until your past the window is basically just robbing people. I will personally no longer be using Lowes for anything and will be canceling my Lowes credit card account with them as well. I simply don t have the time or money to waste on a company that provides horrible customer care. Be very careful before buying anything at Lowes.

This had started last April I ordered a dryer took 2 weeks to get to my house I payed the dryer finally gets to the house only to discover it was the wrong dryer had to order another dryer that 2nd dryer gets to my house from their delivery services the driver had stated we needed to sign for the dryer and we had stated no that the product needed to be tested the driver gets mad and switches the dryers back and when we had asked if they were done the driver said he was and we closed the garage only to discover that the driver had left his drill we would not open the door cause the driver was hostile and cursin at us so obviously we were not going to open the door. The driver had called the Leander police out to my house stating we stole the drill why anyone would steel a 20 dollar drill is crazy the Leander police department has now issued a warrant out over a drill we have had to get a lawyer involved and had to reach out to the bail bondsman the delivery driver states that we had been arrested which is not true the drill was returned within a few hours of the incident.
