We initially met with Blue Water Homecare in preparation for extra help after my dad was scheduled to have heart surgery. Tragically my dad had two strokes following the surgery, and we ended up needing hospice care services. We interviewed a couple of other Hospice companies along with Blue Water, and the other companies made us feel like they were giving us a sales pitch. Jennifer with Blue Water Hospice made us feel like she really cared to get to know us as we interviewed her. We have zero regrets with going with Blue Water. When we panicked after getting home and realizing we needed more home health than we anticipated, within hours Denise was out to get 24/7 home health set up. Denise and the aides were all loving and caring of my dad, as well as the rest of the family. Jennifer, the owner of Blue Water, also provided hospice nursing care for my dad, and she was AMAZING. She is most definitely doing what God put her on Earth to do, and we are so thankful for the service she provides to our community, and the love both she and her company showed to our family in this very stressful and sad time of our lives. All the hospice nurses, the staff at the office, the social worker and minister were all so wonderful. We felt loved and my dad was very cared for until the very end. No one every wants to go through something like this, but if you need extra help after a surgery or to help an elderly family member, or if you sadly, need hospice, I cannot recommend Blue Water enough. I would give more than 5 stars if I could! Thank you Jennifer and Company! We are grateful for you!

Something is a miss with this company and their lack of organization. I received a text last night at 7:30pm. I set an interview phone call up at 11a with Luizza. I never got a call from her so followed up with their office. Her mailbox was unable to receive messages and I guess her coworker let her know. After 40 mins, we finally try and talk but because shes working from home I get an echo and feedback with the software she is using. Then in the interview or series of questions I stop her to ask about the 1 on 1 mentioned in the ad and she isnt familiar. This is an exact exert from the Craigslist ad: Do you miss 1:1 care? Have you been looking for a company that cares about their employees? Yet she was totally unaware. It sounds like they are using this to pull people in but are filling positions based on need not actual one on one as stated in the ad, which would be one caregiver per area, which it makes it out to be. What a waste of time. I shouldve know with her being that late something was off, but to not even know the details of the very ad I replied to, even stranger. Very unprofessional.

If your family needs assistance caring for someone with dementia there is nobody better than Blue Water. Jenniffer and her team have been a God-sent that arrived at the darkest hour of my life. I was dealing with my wife s dementia by myself. Jennifer understands dementia and she explained that Mary was exhibiting Sundowners. She immediately contacted the doctor who prescribed meds to control the Sundowners. Jennifer is very easy to work with. Her flexibility and that of her team has been amazing. Someone is always available 24/7. Tracy, a nurse, was assigned to Mary and she monitored her meds and made sure her pill box was full. Kara came by to bathe Mary and she was gentle, but proficient. I appreciate everything they have done for my wife and I am grateful for the exceptional care Blue Water provided. I can never fully express my gratitude and appreciation for this wonderful group of human beings. I love everyone at Blue Water and you will too!

Bluewater Home Care is more than any other Homecare company out there. They have room for growth in the company. Caregivers who are working there are now apart of the management staff. They care a lot about their employees and clients. They offer on site training if you are new to this type of job. They have very competitive pay and hire bonus. Bluewater is an amazing company for your loved ones.

I hired Blue Water to help with my elderly dad while my mom was hospitalized. I told them I was not sure how many days I would need them but most likely 5 so they scheduled caregivers Monday-Friday I was assured I could cancel with 48 hours notice. On Tuesday, I found out my mom was being released early from the hospital so I called and cancelled Thursday and Friday. The person who I spoke with said it was fine because I gave them 48 hr notice. Then, I got the bill and I was charged for all 5 days. When I pointed out the error, I was told I have to give 7 days notice to cancel so they charged me for 16 hrs of work that was not done. If I had known this, I would have gone ahead and had them work instead of being asked to pay hundreds of dollars for not working! I am very disappointed in this company! I do not recommend them! Update: Several days later, the owner called & offered me a refund for the 2 days, which I accepted.

I have worked and been in contact with other hospice agencies and I can honestly say Blue Waters is the best place I have been to. The caretakers were so nice and made one of the hardest situations in my life more bearable. I highly recommend.

If your family needs care at home there is nobody better than BlueWater. I used 3 different services with my parents. Blue Water is solid and Jen is amazing! So personable and a strong background in medical care. I still contact her with questions about my parents. Blue water cared for my parents in their home and assisted living. Jennifer was a God send in a particularly intense time during the 2021 February deep freeze as my Mom was losing her battle with cancer. Jennifer helped me over the phone and she didn t even know me. More recently, my Dad needed hospice care and my clear choice was Bluewater. Jennifer is very easy to work with, the staff is always accessible. Everyone understands and appreciates my Dad s quirks and are patient and incredibly compassionate. My Dad enjoys the Chaplin visits (Kevin) and his clean up time (Kara) He thinks Kara is the most proficient person he s ever met! They all clearly care about my Dad whole being as he progresses on his unique journey. They have helped give me peace that I didn t think was possible. I have been very pleased with the services from Bluewater Home Care! The staff is focused on the client s needs and well being. People who come to the home are well trained and attend to the client s requests. Having someone do light housekeeping & some cooking is very helpful. The staff will do grocery shopping as well. Bluewater (and especially Travis and Jennifer) have been a God-send. We live 17 hours away from my in-laws and have entrusted Bluewater with their care for several years. In addition to the professional, patient, and caring staff, Travis and Jennifer have gone out of their way to assist us with everything from dealing with the Long-Term Care insurance company, to emergency overnight care when we needed it. We recently had to move my in-laws to an assisted living/nursing home facility and Bluewater even assisted us with the move and training the new caregivers so that the transition was seamless. Bluewater was not our first homecare company but it was our last. We have appreciated everything they have done for us and are thankful that my in-laws had such exceptional care from Bluewater for such a long time. We can never sufficiently express how grateful we are for this company.

I think this is my first google review. But Blue water provides great service and coverage. I was shocked/thankful when they didn t have enough adequate coverage they even had management come out. My mom has neurological deficits so it can be a challenge cognitively. They have both great caregivers and management team. We love love our caregiver she does an excellent job working with my mom and really steps up to the plate when it comes to fulfilling her role as moms caregiver.

The time had come for my 89 year old Dad who lives with Parkinsons Disease to receive more help than I could give him. A dear friend referred me to Blue Water Homecare as she had used the service for her parents. As I am sure many families can relate to the decline that isolation has caused many seniors during the pandemic and my Dad was no exception. Last week, Dad started his care plan. During his first week, he struggled with some serious health challenges which a cardiologist determined that his body was holding too much fluid and the lungs were holding some of that fluid making it challenging to breathe. The help from Blue Water could not have come a moment too soon b/c I needed a team approach to avert a hospital stay for Dad. Between the caring cardiologist, RX, Blue Water caregivers, and my help, Dad was able to expel the excess fluid and breath well again. His very loving Blue Water caregiver helped him get on a FaceTime call with me to tell me that he was getting 50% better at a time that couldnt make it over due to work. This week is his second week of help and he is a different person. Just finished an outdoor visit with his caregiver and with Dad. I witnessed a tuned in, friendly young lady helping him with the priority of going for walks outside. Dad was smiling and building strength within one weeks time. It really does take a village! I, too feel such a huge sense of relief. Caregivers need support systems too. Thank you Blue Water Homecare!

The management of Blue Water has been extremely responsive during a spate of fluctuating needs for our parents, when Dad fell and broke his hip and Mom, who has dementia, needed care. When Dad returned, they pivoted to be sure he was safe and cared for as he resettled at home. The caregivers were all very professional and kind. Very pleased with Blue Water!

I was terminated on my second day of working for this company because I walked out on a client I didnt receive any info on. The client was extremely combative/aggressive and the supervisor didnt disclose any of that prior to my visit. Which means I walked into that situation completely blindsided. I have an idea for her reasoning behind it but that was extremely unprofessional to not disclose of that type of info.

We were looking for a great local company to provide the special care that our aging parents were in need of and we found Blue Water in March of this year! They wanted to stay in their home as long as they could and the caregivers that came daily were wonderful and took good care of them until they could not stay there any longer. However now we still continue to use the caregiver several times a week as they now live in assisted living and what a blessing this has been. Cannot thank Blue Water enough for their love and care for our parents. We would highly recommend calling them if you are in need of excellent care for a loved one.

I am a caregiver for my husband who has multiple medical issues. A friend knew of my need and suggested I call Blue Water Home Care to help me. After talking to Jennifer I decided to try her company. Jennifer has a very up beat personality, as does everyone I talked to. I thought her company would be a good match for my husband and me. I am so glad I decided to go with this company. Whoever does the hiring knows how to find good caring people. The care givers that have been out have been a tremendous help to me. From helping my husband get his shower, changing his sheets to cleaning up my kitchen dishes without being asked to. Not to mention just spending time talking to my husband while I rested or ran errands. I was able to relax knowing he was well cared for while I was away.
