Very clean and convenient place to grab breakfast while getting windshield replaced. Unfortunately they should stick to burgers rather than breakfast. I had to order at a kiosk, no coffee was available to order. Maybe I just overlooked it but the only person available to ask was cooking. I ordered a simple biscuit and gravy and iced tea. I managed to sift through the grease for a few bites of the biscuit (which was less than average), but the gravy was inedible. I haven t tried their hamburgers but I m betting they re a bunch better than this.

Order from Door Dash driver was a little rude because he was frustrated with reception, don t know if that s the reason why my burger was cold and soggy, the fries were soaked in oil that they were inedible.. onion rings were also soggy. Definitely a McDonald s burger with a HopDaddy price.

Forgot one of our Burgers, went to order another one. Pissed the staff of 5 off as they were busy chatting it up. Cheese curds were rock hard. Dirty table, Greasy fries. Burger was pretty bad with a nice soggy bun not worth the price.I would suggest eating from a high school cafeteria as the food would be better I expected more, but not here.. What a waste of money. Attached is a picture of the classy buis card. It reflects the entire establishment.. Could use a cleaning Text to get a free shake that does not work. Once more, their staff is awful....

I come to Wayback Burger Leander all the time, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently exceptional fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. What truly stands out, however, is the incredible customer service. The staff are always attentive and genuinely friendly, which makes each visit enjoyable. Additionally, the restaurant is always spotless, contributing to a great overall experience. Only ordering is through a billboard even during rushes. I had to leave during my most recent visit because people were struggling with it and no one was helping. Floor is sticky all over on multiple visits, and location is uncomfortably hot. Food was okay in previous visits, greasy but okay, milkshakes in the past were partially melted.

Just moved to the area and went to try this place out today for lunch. It was fantastic! The service was great. The cashier was super helpful and answered all the questions I had, and had solid reccomendations. The burgers themselves took about 20 minutes to arrive, but were well worth the wait. We got the ghost pepper burger, spicy cheese curds, fried pickles, and classic burger with fries. We loved the place and will definitely be back! Kid-friendliness: We have toddlers. There are 2 high chairs in the restaurant, no booster seats though. Was pretty kid friendly given the size. Wheelchair accessibility: There are handicap spots on the side of the building with a ramp. The door does not have an automated button.

Just ordered the chili cheese hot dog, Cajun burger and bourbon. All great choices. Super surprised with the fries and onion rings being perfect. It s pricey but I didn t regret it. Normally when I order extra pickles on my burger, EVERY establishment gives me 1-2 extra. Wayback Burgers Leander came in clutch and covered BOTH sides of the burger with this delicious nom nom. Praising the pickle gods above and doing my happy little pickle dance! Thanks yall!!

WayBack Burgers is a neat little joint on the North bound side of old 183 near the Go Car Wash and QT. Its an old fashioned burger joint that is great for to go or dine in orders We ordered the Classic WayBack Burger with fries and a drink, the Chilli Cheese Dog with Tater Tots and a drink, then followed that with a Chocolate Brownie shake. The food was delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted like the old fashioned family style restaurants. You can actually watch them preparing your food through glass partitions. The staff was very friendly and made sure you had everything was done correctly. The entire restaurant was clean and neat, to include the restrooms. Great place to go after a long day out or take the kids after swimming. We spent almost the same as you would at a fast food place, but the quality was far superior. Parking: Parking right in front of the store.

The food was an absolute disaster. Ordered the burger and all I could taste was mustard, the other ingredients were there you just couldnt make em out over the 9 Oz of mustard on the burger. Ordered chili cheese fries and the chili looked like meat in tomato colored water. Tried to drink the sweet tea and it was soured . The location was tidy but thats all it had going for it.

The food is absolutely worth trying even if you arent a fan of burgers. They have vegetarian options as well. The staff is friendly and the menu is simple yet expansive. Most of the negative reviews seem to come from the fact that this is a brand new restaurant. As one can imagine its difficult to train people who have never done the job to be perfect on day one. Personally I have not had any issues with my food taking too long or being cold when I received it. My only criticisms would be. One the portions can be smaller than expected for the price, however the flavor easily counters this for me and arguably I dont need a portion larger than what they serve. Two as a jab to our friends up north, Spicy means something down here. The Ghost pepper Burger is less spicy than eating a raw Jalapeño. It is one of my favorites and tastes amazing but Id feel comfortable giving it to a child.

We have gone to this location two or three times and every time it is excellent! Please try, because we want to keep this place open and going. I hate it when we loose a good place because people think it s inconvenient to walk in somewhere. So worth it. My son had the cheesesteak and he loved it. I had a regular burger and it was amazing! Cheese curds and tater tots were really good too. Also, I want to throw it out there that the employee behind the counter whose name was Kaden was really friendly and helpful!

Its hard to put an accurate rating on Wayback these days; Im torn between 3 and 4 stars. On one token the burgers and fries are as good as they were 10 years ago when I ate my first Wayback burger in Connecticut. On the other, its knocking on the door of Five Guys level of pricing. The staff in the store was super friendly and the atmosphere is typical burger joint. There are lots of food options but all three meals we got were fantastic. You get loads of fries, more than 2 out of 3 of us could eat.. but $15 for a burger and fries is just hard to stomach when In & Out is *almost* as good for half the price. We will certainly be back using coupons like we did today.

This place was great! I had the cheesesteak, both my kids ordered the bourbon bacon burger. The burgers were cooked perfectly to a medium-well, and SUPER tasty! My cheesesteak was piping hot and sooo juicy. We got sides of tots, cheese fries, and chili tots.. all were wonderful, and crispy. The sweetheart at the register was insightful, quick, and friendly. Everything was fantastic! We will DEFINITELY be back soon! Kid-friendliness: We were the only ones in there at the time, but everyone working did all they could to encourage and include my special needs daughter. No one even so much as gave a sideways glance to her loud squeals and noises, or her grabbiness and challenges.

The food if fine, but every single time I order from here they get the order wrong! It s extremely frustrating. I ve given this place multiple chances, but after this last time I think I ve had enough, it s just not worth the money. There needs to be a serious quality check of their staff since it seems like I m not the only one having this problem. Came here for dinner on a Saturday evening and dined inside. It was easy to place our order. Food came out within 12-15 minutes. It s not a fast food restaurant. They cook it once it s been ordered so we expected a short wait. Based on someone else s review, we actually were surprised it was less than 20-25 minutes. My husband ordered the double bacon cheeseburger but on a sourdough bun with onion rings. He said it was hot and good. I ordered the single bacon cheeseburger on their regular bun with cheesy bacon tater tots. Both burgers and sides came out hot. The only negative thing I have to say is that I expected there to be more bacon on a bacon burger. Mine had one, small, thin strip and my husband s had two small, thin strips. It looked nothing like the sign on the menu which showed a few pieces falling out of the burger. The bacon, cheesy tater tots was another story. It had tons of bacon pieces all over the crispy tots and were pretty tasty. This location is pretty close by and our first visit was good so we ll most likely be back again. The food in here is TERRIBLE! My hubbys grilled chicken blt was frozen, rubbery, low quality garbage chicken. My cheesesteak was grissley, the bun was soggy...yuck. His replacement classic burger was very greasy, the lettuce was brown on the edges. We will never come back in. There is no reason to settle when we have so many great places to eat. I didnt want to go in based on reviews and sadly my husband regretted not listening.

I ve been here 3x now and it s been AMAZING every time. I ve gotten the Cajun and the Classic both were cooked perfectly, still juicy and packed with layers of flavor. The real star of the show is the PISTACHIO SHAKE!!! I don t say this lightly but This is the best shake I ve ever had, I will get it every single time no matter what (despite my lactose sensitivity) it s absolutely worth it. The customer service has been great, friendly, and helpful with every visit. I ve never had a bad experience but I ve also never been there while it was busy so I can t speak for rush hour. I ll definitely be coming back either way

I ve read some of the early reviews of this place so I ve been dragging my feet to go try them out. I went tonight and honestly it wasn t bad. A lot of complaints have been about the wait times. I went a little later so it wasn t busy. So, I can t attest to the busy wait times. I ordered on their website. Easy interface and was on my way to the store in a few minutes. Got there a little early. I ask the girl behind the counter a few recommendations for next time. She was happy to help and very friendly. I got my food and brought it home. I had the double bacon cheeseburger and onion rings. The food was good and prepared properly. It s not the best burger or onion rings I ve ever had, but certainly far from the worst. Everything on the burger tasted fresh and the onion rings were crunchy with good flavor. Would definitely recommend and will gladly go back to try different things off the menu.

This is a throwback to the diner type-fast-food-joint. We had the burger and a basket of chili-cheese-tots. Service was great, the tables were clean, and it came out <10 minutes (not fast food). Theyre smash burgers, and only just OK -- could use a little more seasoning and they were kind of dry didnt have any mayo, mustard, or anything. Chili reminded me of canned chili -- I have for forgive a North-Eastern company trying to serve chili in Texas, but, uh, no, just stick to the cheese and the tots...Reasonably priced. I think, unlike the other reviews here -- you should never judge a place on speediness in their first six months of operating...

I was super excited to try this place. In reality the food was lacking. The burger was super dry and I normally dont mind burgers like that, but this time it was hard to eat. Ordered food on thier website and food was not ready at the time the website said. That is fine! They asked 3 different times how I ordered our food and what the name was. A couple people came in after us and they got thier food. No problem! But... after we got our food and made it home to eat it. The food was both cold and pink on the inside. 3 out of the 4 burgers were pink inside. Not really edible pink. All the burgers were bland with no flavor. Onion rings were good. Fries okay. Fried pickles were lackluster. The Sweet Bourbon Bacon Burger was missing the sweet bourbon. We may not come back after this experience. And it really sucks because we were excited to see this place opening up close to home. I think this place may have some real potentional. But they need some work.

Food was great which is a bummer. Placed an order for three burgers three shakes and an order of fried pickles. They forgot two of our shakes. Messed up one of the burgers. On top of that we waited almost 30 min for our food brought our food and we said we had an order of pickles as well. They asked for our receipt we showed them. Had enough time to finish then waited another 40 MINUTES. For the fried pickles. Asked again and they asked for our receipt again which had been thrown in the trash long with the leftover from our food. Had enough of waiting so we asked for a refund. They said they couldn t do it. Manager there was unpleasant and the red haired gentleman was cussing in front of us with our kid there. Said they would have the pickles out shortly, like they did 40 minutes ago. We just told them we didn t want them and left. Note our entire meal was $83 with a tip they asked for upfront. With this kind of service they should be charging McDonald s prices.

nice place, service was friendly. had a basic burger and bacon cheese fries. if I had one complaint it would be the burger tasted like something I could make at home. Ill try a specialty burger next time

Food was GREAT! I could tell they need more workers but customers must understand and that this is not a fast food joint, this is a nice burger restaurant. If you want good food, you have to be patient. I hope they get more help. If you had a bad experience the first time, I d give another try because that s what we did! I m usually very picky when it comes to burgers because I don t like a cheap greasy burger, but this one tasted like it was quality. No heartburn after eating.

Meh over all. For a $50 meal it s was not good. One order had to be remade because it was wrong. The burgers were bland best thing was the sauce that it came with. The chili cheese fries were cold and bland: bottom of the barrel type of fries and watery chili. The kids meal 2 piece tender with fries was pitiful. They fried the smallest chicken nuggets ever, not even comparable to a regular tender and paired it with more barrel bottom fry butts. The sweet tea was not great at all. You can t tell the difference between the sweet tea and unsweetened tea. The best things I had were all bought in and premade; onion rings, soft drinks and sauce. Condolences to everyone there.

Ordered over UberEats, two burgers and some chicken tenders. Should have taken 20 minutes to get ready, no? Instead we called 1.5 hours later and were told they were very busy but it would be ready in 10 minutes. Called back 15 minutes later and were told it would be ready in 25-30 minutes. We had to cancel our order and scramble to feed our two very hungry kids. I used to work in the service industry and have a lot of sympathy for when a place is really in the weeds. I understand that getting slammed is not fun, but this place handled it exceedingly badly. We will never again order from them, or go in person for that matter.

Let me start off by saying that I really wanted to like this place! It s close to my home. I got the classic cheese burger w/ Cajun tots.The food is for sure fresh but certainly has NO flavor whatsoever. They must not add seasoning as I noticed someone else made a comment regarding this. For the price I was expecting something to wow me, at least a little. The Cajun tots were average. Would not recommend this place as they don t even offer combos.

Went here with 2 friends. We all ordered within a minute or two of each other. I had the Philly Cheesesteak and it was a major disappointment. Barely any meat and a kraft cheese slice un-melted over the top. The 2nd friend in our party ordered the chili cheese dog and it came out a full 8 minutes after mine and he also ordered pickles TWICE and they never gave them. He said it was an ok chili cheese dog. Our third in the party also ordered a chili cheese dog and by the time I was done and our other friend was done (about 15 minutes) they let him know they were out of hot dogs but could refund the meal. On the refund they even penny pinched and only refunded the hot dog and not the drink. Very cheap and poor service.

I really wanted to like it. Didn t mind the 20 minute wait for the food. Customer service was good. But when you order a cheesesteak with jalapeños, grilled onions, and mushrooms and you get a half empty bun with none of the fixins you ordered and have to send it back and it cost $9 I have an issue with that. The atmosphere is a little strange. No music, everyone talks in a whisper. The place is very clean and the employees were courteous. Don t think we ll be back.

Staff was nice, but looked exhausted. They did check on us to make sure we were comfortable and quick to help us before we could ask. Milkshake was near watery. Burgers were okay, not memorable. Food did seem fresh at least. Just not as impressive as it looks but they have a good logo and nice design on the menu! Maybe recipes need more sauce or seasonings? The place could use some blinds or something to block the strong light when the sun is in the west

When we arrived the place was packed, as we ordered and sat down I noticed more people waiting for food then where eating. The staff where friendly and the cashier was polite to customers . Lets start off with some disclaimers, its the night before Thanksgiving, this is a new location so its safe to say the staff is new as well team work between the kitchen and the front is not very good. If you have time to stand around and talk to the girl making milkshakes you have time for one of you to head back amd help the kitchen. We ordered our food at 1835 and we received it at 1920 and it was cold. We order 2 burgers and 1 chicken BLT. The burgers where cold. Despite the problem everyone including the owner where very friendly and helpful in fixing the situation. The restaurant was very clean, so I guess you could chaulk it up to a bad night.

Someone needs to let their staff know that delivery drivers are not required to fill up fountain sodas for customers that is part of your job to prepare the order so we can pick it up and drop it off and nowhere in my job description does it say I need to fill up fountain drinks for customers you guys need to be providing a seal for the drinks

We ordered from their location specific menu for a large group. We paid over the phone. When we arrived, they did not have our order. Turns out the telephone number on their menu for a certain location is in fact the telephone number for a location 20 miles away. It took a while, but they remade our food. Many items were missing, the shake was runny and the service was poor. Food was okay but obviously was hastily thrown together. Do not recommend.

Yikes waited 40 minutes for my food, once I got, burgers were cold, undercooked and onion rings were cold and I counted 6 small rings for $5.29. The kids meal (2 tenders and fries) was way overpriced for the amount and size ($7.59) our burger orders were wrong as well. I know they just opened but evidently online orders get pushed to the front. Fries were great, milkshakes great bacon burger was smaller then the classic. We tried it, won t be back.

Friendly staff, but i ordered online yesterday and it took over an hour for my food to be ready. There were multiple people that came after i was already waiting for 30 mins in the store and they got their food, and finished, before i got mine. And the food wasnt worth an hour wait since the burger was try, and my bacon cheese fries only had maybe a slice of cheese that ended up sticking to the paper container. Not terrible, but definitely room for improvement.
