Weve visited several times, with positive and different vibes each time. Great for a date night with a spouse, but also workable with kids based on easy pizzas. Texas Brewery Running was fun, as was Oktoberfest. Cocktails are pricey, and theres a bit of a shrinking glass effect on pints, but thats business. Great range of beer. Kid-friendliness: Mitz with the jalapenos on the side. Pretzel with cheese. Mild shishito peppers. Several this options for kids.

We ate at the food truck. Maybe it was an off night but the pepperoni pizza was so greasy it broke apart when you picked it up. Hard to taste anything but oil. The very outer ring was good and crust was great. Unfortunately didn t feel worth the money to have soggy pizza.

Took 40 minutes to get a pizza and a grilled cheese. It s pretty hot inside, even with the additional AC unit they have. The employee at the bar was nice. My husband s grilled cheese was good. I had the Bianco Basalt, I felt it didn t have enough toppings and was small for the price, and it gave me a pretty bad stomachache :(

Decided to grab pizza on a whim here the other night (to go order) and may have found one of my new favorite pizza spots! Really cool vibe on the inside, and plenty of seating inside and outside. Service was great, ordered online with ease, and food was ready when it was promised. I got the meat heater pizza (without the heat lol) so basically a meat lovers pizza, and then my family also ordered a plain cheese pizza and The Mitz Pizza. All were prepared perfectly, cooked just right with a nice crunch of the crust, and the toppings were plentiful. It wasn t super greasy either which was nice. It s a lot of food! Don t forget your sides of ranch! Pricing is right on par with what a pie costs around here. Look forward to a return trip and hopefully dining in next time!

So I arrived at the brewery asked for a menu and was told it was online. I am good with this approach. I decided on my beer and sat my phone down on the bar. Looked down the bar at the bartender made eye contact twice but I guess hanging out with the other workers was more important than a customer. The 2nd bartender never said anything to me. I continued to just wait but she never came back. I was really hoping this place would be good. So I left I really dont think anyone cared. ****** I will give yall another try down the road.

I brought my 78 year old little friend there to try the food because I read amazing reviews. The food was good and the beer was also, but we had a problem with service.. Every friday we go try a new restaurant. Weve had the best luck ever due to Austin having the greatest restaurants. This place..... Unfortunately didnt even bother to greet us the whole time we were there. ....Or let us know that you cannot order at any of the many , many tables. After sitting at our table for about 15 minutes with no one greeting us, much less looking at us....( it was not busy, being Friday at 3ish), I finally went up.to the bar and ordered. I research all my restaurants before I go in, so I saw both owners at the bar. When i went up to the bar to place an order, they gave me someone who hadnt even clocked in Who had just clocked in minutes ago even though these guys ywere just standing around doing nothing. Im not sure why they did not want to wait on us, But we will absolutely not ever be going back. There is just way too many awesome restaurants in town with amazing service. I brought home the pizza to my husband and he was super excited to go one day. Definitely will not bring him.. good food. But probably the worst service Ive had in Austin in 30 years.

Took my wife to Obsidian for date night and had a good time. The wife and I shared a pizza, cheesy bread, and had a few drinks. First the good news; The pizza was good and the atmosphere was more date night then the previous brewery at this location. On the other hand. For someone that like spicy/grassy IPAs, what was on offer was way fruitier than I was prepared for. Not to say it was bad, just not what I was expecting. For anyone looking at the pizza menu and questioning the inclusion of spicy honey on pizza. I wasnt sure what to expect, but it completely countered the overly bitter bite of the arugula. And at least on the pie we had that didnt include red sauce, it wasnt any sweeter than tomato sauce. The cheesy bread would have been better if the pesto had been a little lighter and a little more evenly distributed, taking a bite of bread that coats your tongue with oil and a large amount of basil and, what I suspect is pine nuts, was a bit much. The dining area felt less family friendly, in a good way, and better suited for hanging out with other adults. My wife appreciated the cocktail menu and actually regrets getting a cider instead of a mixed drink. But it gives us an excuse to go back and try something else.

We had the mitz pizza, the crust was a delicious combination of chewy and crunchy. The toppings had fresh ricotta and perfectly cooked bacon with arugula. My fiance and I were excited when we heard a few of the brewers from Red Horn were branching out and starting their own place. They bought the previous Lone Pint location, although I never went so I cant tell you what changed. What I can say is I like the space. They have 10 picnic tables or so outside and theyre mostly covered and the outside area is dog friendly. Inside, they have the usual bar space along with more tables and a few couches too. We got our drinks and posted up on a couch to watch the Chiefs game on my phone (they dont have tvs). She got a strawberry French 75 and I got one of their hazy ipas recommended by the brewer working the bar (who broke the tape measure). Both were very good. My IPA was tropical and sort of reminded me of pinthouse (thats a good thing). Next, she got the strawberry hefeweizen which we both thought was pretty good and I got their other hazy (also called something about a tape measure). It was a totally different beer than the first but I also enjoyed it. We didnt get the pizza as wed just eaten but a few friends have had good things to say.

So they opened recently, and were not prepared for how busy they were going to be. That being said, they did not have pineapple (which I get some pizza places just dont have pineapple, but for me it decides whether I go back or not) and they ran out of practically all the fountain drinks. I wish they were more prepared. The pizza is a solid 3 out of 5. Its okay, almost good, but definitely not the best. $13 for about a 12 pizza. The beer was good though, and the cocktails were good (though pretty expensive). A few days later, the location charged me $47 for 1 small pizza and 1 beer. Just a heads up that it can get really expensive really fast for some reason.

Checked out this brewery and loved it! They ve got a ton of beers, (almost) all made right there, and each one I tried was awesome. Plus, they ve got some really good, allocated whiskeys for cocktails. The pizzas here are a hit too lots of choices, including gluten-free ones. Everything tasted fresh and went well with the drinks. It s a cool place to hang out, with a friendly vibe and staff that make you feel welcome. Definitely recommend it if you re into good beer and pizza.

We got 2 pizzas; I thought both were decent but neither blew me away. Both had simple, high quality ingredients, and the crust was good but could use more char imo. Id say the beer was pretty standard as well. The brown ale was the low point for me. The ipas were the high point, but just good stand-bys. I was shocked by the summer ender radler which was remarkably not like a radler. It was big on bitter grapefruit which is a flavor I like. After getting over my initial shock, I liked it.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Obsidian Brewery, and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish, from the quality of their beers to the ambiance of the establishment. First and foremost, the locally crafted beer selection at Obsidian Brewery is simply exceptional. Each beer is crafted with precision and care, resulting in a flavor profile that is truly remarkable. The atmosphere of the brewery is another highlight of my visit. The space is inviting and well-designed, with a modern aesthetic that creates a cozy and relaxed ambiance. The staff members are friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about their craft, making the experience even more enjoyable. They were more than happy to provide recommendations and answer any questions we had about the beers. In addition to the fantastic beer selection, Obsidian Brewery also offers a delectable pizza menu with something for just about everyone. The quality of the food was top-notch, and the flavors were well-balanced and satisfying. Overall, the combination of outstanding locally crafted beers, inviting atmosphere, and delicious food made for a memorable visit. I highly recommend this brewery to any true beer enthusiast or anyone looking for a great place to relax and enjoy some fantastic brews with friends, family, or coworkers.

There s a whole lotta heart and soul here, from the staff s friendly greetings to the great pizzas and drinks. Even the industrial interior is made warm and inviting with festoon lights, comfy couches, and gorgeous walls that seriously look like plush black suede. I mean, how did they do that? I tried a classic Margherita pizza paired with a Negroni cocktail to see how well Obsidian handles the simple things (which is usually a good indication of how they ll execute the rest) and they were both very good. Although I was surprised when I discovered they didn t use Campari in the Negroni, I found the less bitter liqueur they used gave the cocktail a smoother flavor. An instant favorite. My friends and I grabbed slices of each other s pizzas, and while I don t remember all the official names, I can tell you the flavors were bold and inventive. The same goes for the brews. One that made us all stare at each other (in a good way) tasted like perfectly toasted s mores, even down to the hint of smoke. What alchemy is this!?!? So yeah, I ll go back again and again. See you there?

Had a great time at this new little brewery. You can tell the staff love what they do and are very friendly. It s a fun place to go that s close to home. Looking forward to watching this place evolve and blossom into one of the best places to grab a drink, and they have more than just beer. If you like Old Fashioned whiskey beverages, they re on the mark here. Add some green bell peppers and red onions to the Meat Heater pizza and pair it with one!

Came for the beer, but started with the cocktails. Both cocktails we ordered were gourmet delicious. I tried the creamsicle marg(arita) and my wife had the Rumkin Spice, which she really enjoyed (we both had two of each). Since we were in a group, we ordered three pizzas: pepperoni, margarita, and the Thai fighter. The first two pizzas were fresh hot and delicious. But I have to admit the Thai fighter, had enough spicy kick to it that made it fantastically delicious. If you like some spicy in your meal, I recommend the Thai style pizza. It was as scrumptious as it was creative. Yummy!

Tried this place for the 1st (and last time). Pizza was VERY dry. Beer was just ok. Ordered a cocktail (which ended up, was premixed). Asked for plates for the pizza - no dice never brought any, no one ever checked on us. Owner/manager spent his time drinking with friends. No vibe to the place, for a weekend night it was relatively dead and seemed everyone there either worked there or knew the owner. So many better places in a very short drive,

The pizza is freshly made and perfect and the beer is even better. The s mores brown ale, which is called They Close at 8 on Sundays, is the perfect late night beer. I ordered two Old Fashioneds tonight and they may be the best I ve ever had as they were rich and refreshing. All of the staff is friendly and the place is super clean. Cannot recommend enough.

This was there first day. I hope to update the rating as they get more time under their belt. The beer was meh. They had a West Coast IPA listed but it was an American IPA at best. The pizza was good but not spectacular. Once they get more time with the new system here s hoping they produce some phenomenal beers. They have collabed with Pinthouse so maybe they can produce some beers like PHP that shine.

So happy with this new brewery! We tried at least half of the beers and they were all fantastic, especially the Beauregard and the 10pm Lowes Run (awesome names btw). Their cocktails are *amazing!* I loved the espresso martini and the Bees Knees in particular. Also the best Sazarac Ive ever had! We tried 3 of the pizzas - Meat Heater, La Birria and The Mitz and all three were fantastic! The crust is crispy but soft, absolutely delicious, we cleaned the plates! Every member of the staff was friendly and helpful too, even though is was absolutely packed! Im so excited for a new go-to place in Leander to get good drinks, good food, and they even have boardgames! I m excited to see this place thrive. The opening night was very busy so I assume I ll be updating this review in the future. First and foremost, the employees were all wonderful! The place looked great and my husband loved the beer. A few things: 1st half of my the mocktail was tasteless since it wasn t mixed, but the second half was tasty. The pizza was good, not great. Too much crust and saw lots of waste from what people threw out from uneaten crust. I definitely will be back and I m excited to try more food and drinks. Parking: Lots of parking in the area but on a weekend it may be difficult to find a spot. Kid-friendliness: Kid pizzas on the menu and kid friendly
