Love this little local spot! It has a different style and atmosphere that is refreshing. Sometimes service is slow when they get busy and prices are on the higher end. Love that the No kids after 8pm policy is enforced.

Check out my $35 worth of drinks that took 30 minutes to come out to me even after I reminded her lol. Looks nothing like the photo s everyone posts on IG. (These were the featured tiki drinks on the menu. These reviews have to be friends of people that work there. This was me giving this place a second try after my 1st experience when they 1st opened. Never coming back & telling all my friends that it sucks!

The staff here are always 10/10. I dont drink but I go here with friends who do. They always have great NA options and offer to make me great mocktails. Its one of the few places I dont feel judged for being in a bar and not drinking. Weve spent many nights hanging out with the regulars and bartenders playing board games and dancing the night away. I love the misting fans on the patio with the food trucks. Its such a nice addition for summer. The indoor seating is comfy, bathrooms inside and out are clean, and decor is so cute. Im happy to have such a great place so close to my home!

If youre looking for a relaxed atmosphere with a genuine Austin vibe, Night Owl is the place to be. Not technically in the city. But has good seating, large outdoor screen for sports fans, with Food trucks being the highlight of them all.

Loved this bar, staff was super fun and everyone in the bar were super friendly. Loved the atmosphere and that small town feel glad Leander is still like this, I missed this feel from someone who was raised on Austin Texas ! Drinks were awesome vibes were hella cool! This is a wonderful and very friendly place to grab a drink and meet some local. We have been coming since they opened and never had a problem or a negative experience. The staff are amazing and you can tell they love bringing the alcohol and good vibes. Bri was our bartender today and she was great! Please give this place a try and you ll probably find yourself staying till last call! Shout out to IAN, T and Tara for the love they bring down here to Leander. Y all have made a Raving Fan!

Both cocktails we ordered when incomplete. Both off of the local menu. The bar tender met the minimum qualifications to be behind a bar. Paid through the phone and tipped appropriately. I cant honestly say that Im going back again.

Went to night owl 4/5/24 and had a great time trying to enjoy the live music and loved the vibe. The staff was amazing! Only down side was other patrons had terrible kids and were too busy drinking to keep their kids under control. Luckily the staff was able to abide by the established rules and politely asked the families to prepare for the after children hours. The 2 families that had their kids we very rude to the staff for asking them to get ready for the hour 8 pm. As a customer Im grateful the staff handled this & I know the other customers were happy about it as well. Also who would want their kids around drunk people? And what kind of parents get that drunk around their children? But lucilky the other patrons even agreed that those people were completely out of line in the way they reacted to being told the time was coming to get ready to leave and close out their tabs. Again the staff was amazing with how they handled the drunk parents reactions. I went out of my way to find out the names of the staff and congratulated them on their professionalism. Thanks again, Brie, T, Amber and Ian!!

Not a family friendly environment as advertised. We visited with a group after a baseball game and were asked to leave due to our children. They claimed the owner asked us to leave because of the kids and it was geared more towards adults. She said that there was policy that families had to leave after 8 pm, but there was no policy posted anywhere and advertising was family friendly .

Bartenders hate kids. We were enjoying ourselves here with a group. We ordered food from the trailer, multiple families, which had kid menu options as well. Collectively we spent a good amount of money here. The bartenders were glaring at us through the windows for a long time. The place was NOT BUSY. There was seating available outside and a handful of people inside. Our kids were playing with a ball off to the side in the corner, they came out and asked them to stop. Nowhere is there signs that say no kids after 8:00 pm. Eventually the bartender came out and asked us to leave. She stated that the owners were watching the cameras and wanted us to leave because we had kids and we were there after 8:00. We did not appreciate the glares through the windows and constant judgmental looks from them. IF YOU HAVE KIDS, DONT GO HERE. THEY ARE NOT WELCOME. Really sucks to spend a good amount of money somewhere with little appreciation and respect. If kids aren t allowed, or there is some policy , then post it. We feel as though it was a fake way to ask us to leave. Honestly, kids were being kids, but they sweetens doing any damage to anything and they were off to the side in the corner away from everyone.

For a small town this bar is a statement. Not only are the drinks amazing, the staff is also amazing. They are friendly, and great conversation starters. The drinks here dont get me started. This place has the best I mean the best whiskey sour I ever had. They make their drinks with love and they are simply the best. They have a nice outside area that is perfect for date nights or a friendly get together. This place is a bar and not suited for children but in the jest of things they have a live band on Fridays. They are very family oriented and they let kids stay with their love ones outside to enjoy the lovely BBQ and live music. They also have a nice atmosphere inside very clean and the esthetics are amazing. I highly recommend this bar.

The food truck was the best part of the night. However, we were told the management was watching us from the cameras and conveniently when we slowed down buying drinks they enforced a no kids policy after 8pm. Granted we had quite a few kids, and 5 families, and our boys got a little rambunctious at times, but the constant stares from the staff and policy they conveniently made up when we stopped buying booze was just wrong. There will be several more bad reviews on the way as this is not how you conduct business, especially considering we were there 3 weeks ago after 8pm with less kids and they said nothing. If youre family oriented, Id suggest finding another place.

Orders must be done on QR code. QR code out front wasnt working. Went inside and the one on the wall had glare from the sun and wasnt working. Tried the one at the bar and it required downloading an app. Not one customer in the place and the bartender stood right there and never greeted us or asked if she could help. Too hard to do business with. We went down.the street to the Thirsty Chicken. Much better choice.

The patio is really neat. I m told that they show football games outside. You can walk up and order through the window. There s a nice big covered area outside. Very nice decor and lounge feel. They just opened the place so I believe they are still figuring it out. The ordering system is confusing, bartenders are bit lost and didn t honor happy hr prices. They have let a patron unleash their big dog which I thought is not the best at least in the indoor area, may be they can make patio more pet friendly. However I am happy to give this place a try one more time in coming weeks.

Night Owl is a great place to come in and grab a drink with an old friend, a budding relationship or even just on your own! Great cocktails, friendly bar guests, and wonderful bartenders. The bar is Kid friendly till 8pm with some great non alcoholic options to keep the kids hydrated and energized and for anyone that s just there for a good time. Dogs are also welcome at the bar which is great! Ask the bartenders for a water bowl for any of the fluffy friends that may be with you on a warm day!
