This is the best veterinary clinic around! I am blessed with two kitty cats and they both have (as good of an experience as a cat can have) a wonderful experience at this vet!! My male cat loves to sniff around the patient room and the staff lets him do whatever he needs to to feel comfortable and theyre very sweet to him. Hes been to this vet for a UTI and Dr. Marcoux was kind enough to evaluate him and send him to a larger hospital for more advanced care. She wanted to do what was right for both him and my wallet. I unfortunately do not have an unlimited budget concerning my cat care and at the time, we thought it was something more serious. My female cat recently came in for both a bacterial and a yeast infection in her ear and the staff and Dr. Marcoux have been instrumental in helping me figure out what was going on with her. I got a thorough demonstration on how to administer the drops to my cats ears from the tech staff. When I was having some trouble with the drops, I called and brought her in again and they were so gentle with her, saying, I want to be really gentle because Ive never had this infection before but Im sure its painful! That kind of care is just unmatched in any other vet that Ive been to. The staff is also very professional. They always make sure that I understand both the treatment and the cost. They always answer the phone to let me know how my baby is doing or even when I call to get advice. Ive not worked with Dr. Fenton just yet but Dr. Marcouxs bedside manner is excellent. I know that every other vet takes into account kitty minutes but she is just phenomenal with cats (even fractious ones like my male kitty!). She really makes sure that you understand the ailments and the treatment options and she will work with you on any alternative methods or costs based on your pet and your needs. The pricing is also fair. I dont see an increase in pricing at this vet versus others and Ive been to like 3 in this area. They also seem to put an emphasis on donations. I was able to take advantage of a previous donation of a chewable antibiotic for my cats and they were sure to let me know all of the risks involved in taking that product. I cant recommend this vet enough!!!

Highly recommend this vet office. Dr. Marceaux and Dr. Fenton are both amazing! Their vet techs are also amazing and so helpful. Cant say enough great things about Egret Bay Vet Clinic. They have always been so helpful and kind to my pup and will take the best care of your pets.

Sadly I had to have my 15+ y/o fur-pup put down. I called many places and they either wanted well over $700 or were booked for days. She didnt have days left. I called Egret Bay and they were able to get her in right away. Very calm atmosphere, super sweet, caring staff. Gave me all the time I needed with her. Then made sure she passed peacefully. I opted to have individual cremation and received her back exactly one week later. Beautiful memorial package with her paw print framed, little bottle with some fur, beautiful carved wooden urn and a card signed by the whole staff. All this for a little over $400. I cant thank them enough for their care and compassion. Highly recommend.

I cannot rave enough about Dr. Fenton and Rene at Egret Bay Vet Hospital. I had an emergency situation with my cat - they got us an appointment ASAP to have him examined and were able to effectively treat him for his injury. They were so gentle and caring with Marley. They alleviated my stress and explained everything to me so thoroughly. These folks are compassionate and caring!

They misdiagnosed my fur baby. Brought him in in April for persistent cough and shortness of breath. After $600 mucinex he was sent home. A month later in late May he started coughing again with bloody, foamy mucous. Immediately brought him to pet urgent care where they found his chest filled with cancer. His xray looked like Swiss cheese. He was drowning. We lost him that day. Wish we knew earlier so he wouldnt have had to suffer.

Dr. Fenton has cared for my sweet Shiloh boy since day one and there s truly no one else I would want/trust to take care of my boy. Not only does she diagnose the problem, but she sends home scholarly articles that I can read to familiarize myself with the diagnoses as well. The staff are always so friendly, greet us by name and I never leave feeling judged, pressured or unfit as a pet owner, unlike some vet clinics. Your fur baby will be in great hands if you go here!

Dr. Marcoux is compassionate, patient, and flexible. She never rushes the appointment, but spends plenty of time with us. This clinic does not overbook like other vet clinics, so the lobby is not crowded -- which can be very stressful to some dogs. They also allow us to wait in an individual exam room, instead of the lobby. Im guessing to reduce anxiety and stress. The staff is always friendly, kind, prompt and professional. If you are looking for a top notch quality vet clinic for your very important furry friends, I highly recommend Egret Bay.

We went in for a second opinion on a lump we found on our young dog. His vet wanted to do surgery right away to remove it without any diagnostic tests so we went to Egret Bay for a second opinion. The office was nice and clean and the staff were amazing. The vet gave us the peace of mind by doing a fine needle aspirate and sending the results to the pathologist. We received results the same day and was told to watch and wait as the lump could have been from a vaccine he received earlier. The lump has subsided and our dog did not have to undergo unnecessary surgery. Thank you for your thorough examination and expertise! Our only regret was not finding you sooner!

We were given 3 options... - another 24 hrs hospitalization - take home and keep her comfortable and love on her - or euthanasia. As a customer, I brought multiple pets to this facility between now and 2017, and as recently as August 2022. A few weeks ago, just days prior to the start of the Labor Day weekend. Our 18 year old diabetic cat Roxie unexpectedly took a turn for the worst. She could no longer eat or drink, was clearly suffering, and needed to be euthanized immediately. When I called this facility and informed them of my cats dire situation and immediate need for veterinary intervention. The individual who answered the phone informed me that they generally performed euthanasia after 5:00 pm, as if my cat could schedule her being put out of her misery and impending death at the appropriate time . I was then put on hold and soon after informed that the vet was too busy to handle my pets immediate needs, and informed that I could bring her in another day. Regardless of the fact that I was a current customer who owned both this animal, as well as four standard poodles, and another rescue cat. Both the response and utter lack of care and compassion that this facility has for my animal is appalling. As caring and compassionate owners of multiple rescue animals over the past 25 years. We have had to make multiple determinations regarding the most appropriate choices for our elderly animals. In this case, we thank God that our previous go to Veterinary Clinic, ( When we liven in Houston) Long Drive Veterinary Hospital. Cared more about the well being of our animal that their ability to start an early holiday. The procedure as usual took literally one minute, and our cat died peacefully and pain free. There is absolutely no excuse for the complete and utter lack of veterinary professionalism that we were subjected to as both pet owners, and customers from this facility. It is nothing short of criminal that you refused to put our pet out of her misery. The suggestion that we could schedule another time is even more disturbing.

I stumbled upon this veterinarian hospital for a second opinion. My previous vet wanted to go straight to surgery as first-line intervention for a growth on my Frenchies lip, even after asking for less invasive measures first. Stating, Well, if we have to do a biopsy we might as well do surgery. When taken to Egret Bay, the doctor plucked a couple wiskers to find it was a fungal infection which required only an ANTIFUNGAL and NOT surgery. EBVH is well aware that not everyone has the cash to spend on their animals and do whats right for your fur-baby. They do not put your pet at high risk unless absolutely necessary (ie- surgery). I appreciate that...emensly.

I wish I would have chose this Vet first after having awful experience at another Veterinarian. The staff at Egret bay Veterinary Hospital are everything you could want in a Vet. From the moment I walked in the door I was welcomed and accommodated to my pets needs. The Vet techs, receptionists and Dr. Marcoux are incredibly friendly, professional and treated my dog like he was part of their family. We were able to get all the information we needed in order to try and get our elderly dog back on track with his health. I cannot thank them enough for the services they provided and more.

I debated sharing this review but I m honestly still in shock. I used this vet for 10 years and multiple animals. My 2 year old developed kennel cough and my mother in law took him in. The experience was absolutely appalling. Apparently based off a single visit to get a vaccine 2 weeks before . That dog snapped at my sons face . This was the words of the vet. The vet refused to come into the room and stood outside the room. She asked my 62 year old mother in law to muzzle him but offered no help. Was EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL when I called inquiring what was going on as I was at work. After this experience I asked to speak with the owner as I just couldn t believe she would allow this behavior. She admitted that the technician was not authoritative and was probably not the best to handle the dog and the vet that was assisting was scared to be bit. This dog mind you is a dog that is around kids and people EVERY day! She told me that I should be careful. After 10 years, thousands of dollars spent with them , and for her to tell me her VET was timid about being bit but this was my fault! A vet that can t handle a dog? I want to be clear my dog has NEVER bit. And honestly, if you feel the need to muzzle a dog for safety I am 100% ok with that! But you don t leave 62 year old woman to do it herself and not even offer to help! I took this dog to Dickinson Animal hospital and I have had ZERO problems. He s a hyper 2 year old lab that needs a dominant person. They took the time to understand that. I will never return to Egret Bay and will share my experience.

The ABSOLUTE best care i have ever received with my dog. Wow. I used to take my dog to fur friends but I was not happy with the way I was treated the last time I was there. I came to Egret Bay Veterinary and I was beyond happy. The staff is nice. They treat you with such respect. The physician is amazing. They dont rush. They take time with you. They are patient. This place is amazing, and caring, and very kind. When Dr. Tommy retired, I bounced around looking for a good fit. Then, I rescued Itsik, a tiny .5 oz kitten. Egret Bay Veterinary Hospital was the closest to my location. So, the little one & I headed over. They were incredible! Now, I take all three of my furbies to see them. I will stay with these awesome Docs until either I die or they retire.

My Blackie J, a Torty, had suffered for over a year with stress and allergy issues. We attempted to have the previous Vet to help us with this matter, starting around a month after discovery of hair loss, but to no avail and it continued to get worse, to the point of complete hair loss on her left rear quarter, sections of 3 legs, and almost her entire stomach area. Then we moved to the League City area in July and found Egret Bay Vet Hosp. I know nothing in the area and located this office near our home, so thought I would try it out. I was extremely impressed with the organization, cleanliness and calmness of the office area and noticed the music immediately. I asked if this was the manner always and was assured of the same for each visit. We saw the Vet and began working together to come to a viable action plan for my girl. Some blood work, and urine tests, and add a couple of medications. This worked for a brief period, but was not the complete answer. The next step was to change to a food that might work for food allergies and BINGO!! We hit the nail on the head. Her constant cleaning and licking eased immediately and within 2 weeks, we began to see hair growth and, as shown in the pictures, the hair began and continued to fill in. She still has a stomach area that is continuing to fill in, but the mulched, high protein prescriptive diet has made her almost completely healed. Shes playing again and having rous with her sister, in our home and being the ever loving and sweet kitty that we used to see. What took over a year at our previous vets office, and never came to any resolution, took 2 visits and a only few weeks to completely resolve. Thank you Egret Bay Vets and Staff for bringing my Kitty back to life!

This is the best vet Ive ever been to in my entire life. No exaggeration. The entire staff is incredibly kind and gentle, which was a big deal for my nervous cats and dog. I love this vet office. The staff is kind and wonderful and all the clinicians are professional and excellent at their jobs. They saved my cats life when he had to be rushed in for an emergency procedure and for that they will forever have my gratitude and my business. They are amazing with all 3 off my animals (2 cats and 1 dog). Even my cat Sugar who I know is very difficult to treat because she gets scared at the vet and becomes aggressive. This place is Amazing! The moment I got my terrior mix in they loved on him and started checking him out. They discovered he had pancreatic disease. They gave him meds there then sent me home with more meds.I checked in with them on Friday. Then on Sat. They called me to check in. Very compassionate people there. I will be changing vets!!! Dr. Marcoux and staff are amazing. Love seeing all the smiles. I always trust my pets to be treated Like they are at home. We had to put one of our family pets down due to old age and Dr. Fenton was wonderful through the whole experience. I will continue using this clinic.

We have had our dogs taken care of at Egret Bay for the past two years. Weve had puppy care, end of life care, and now adult dog and senior dog care. Our adult dog thinks she owns the place and tries very hard to go visit the ENTIRE staff. Our senior dog recently developed a heart problem that could have killed her, but Dr. Fenton and the team have helped her clear one hurdle after another. The best thing about the care at Egret Bay is continuity. Everyone from front desk to all vets and techs are kept up to date on my sick girl. Thats COMMUNICATION and follow up!! Thank you, to all at Egret Bay for taking such good care of us!!

I had a very poor experience at another vet. The staff here was very professional, and above all, made me feel they really cared about my pet s well being. My last vet claimed they could only give a heart work test for six months. They clearly just wanted me to come back to pay another visit and heart worm test. At Egret Bay, I was able to show them my pets records to show that she s been consistently on meds for over four years, and they did not make us take another test. They could have easily charged me another $55 for a test. I was very impressed with their honesty. Egret Bay Vet Hospital will be our permanent, go-to vet from now on.

I wish I could rate them 10 stars! I called in a panic because my dog was hurting terribly and I was completely lost on what to do. We have recently moved and I did not have the option of taking her to her vets office, so I took a chance and went with the one close to me with great ratings and I am so thankful. They were loving, kind, patient everything you can imagine. They were truly a God send to me that day. My dog has a treatment plan and is under amazing care. I am so thankful for a sweet staff and amazing vet. I cannot express how wonderful they are, take your pet there yourself and find out!

I went for a new visit for my puppy Kiara and I was just completely blown away by the amazing interactions and services provided! Dr. Megan is absolutely incredible I m so thankful I got to meet her she was so sweet and caring for my little pup unlike other vets I ve been to that could care less about my fur babies. Aileen my tech was was so wonderful and helped answer all my questions about the medication and other products I received. From the front desk to the techs, and Dr Megan Leach, Egret Bay Veterinary Hospital goes above and beyond to make you and your pet feel special. Today was my first time to go visit Egret bay Vet. On a day that I had to make the difficult decision to euthanize my cat, the staff could not have been more compassionate and sincere. They gave my little girl a peaceful journey, and allowed me to hold her as she took her final breath. I highly recommend Egret Bay Vet.

I did not have an established veterinarian for my dog when I called another clinic to see my sick dog for a walk in. Unfortunately, they did not have any openings, but they recommended Egret Bay Veterinary clinic and I had passed it thousands of times while going to the gym next door. I called and was greeted with a friendly voice who scheduled me right away. The technician, Elaina, was absolutely amazing. She was sweet, attentive, and went above and beyond to stand with my scared and sick dog while I went over formalities with the front desk at the end of the visit. Dr. Marcoux was just as amazing. She answered all of my many questions and did not leave until I was fully aware of what was happening, what needed to happen, and everything in between. I have found my new veterinary home, and I strongly suggest you make this clinic your home as well!

This is a great Vet! Got me in right away after I adopted a Sweet but sick dog at the League City Animal Shelter. The doctor called me personally for several days after as we worked through all the different ailments my new Puppy had gotten as a stray. The front desk explained all the charges up front so there were no surprises. The facilities are clean and modern and the Vet very knowledgeable. Would Highly recommend.

This place deserves 10 stars. My 10 year old standard poodle hurt his leg and needed to be seen emergently. We call 4 emergency clinics/hospitals and these guys were the only ones willing to see us. If you have a shy/anxious pup (and most animals are in vet offices), I highly recommend Dr. Marcoux and Egret Bay Vet. She takes her valuable time to sit with my dog until she is comfortable. After an emotional experience at Petsmart, with them injuring and then initially refusing to help fix the injury to my pup, I was terrified of cost and what it would take to help her.
