Update to the update... Tried again. They are out of our beer, again. No hope for this place. ***Update*** Now they have cut their normal amount of tequila in their margaritas. A top- shelf margarita should have a recognizable amount of tequila over their normal margarita. This is not the case anymore. They are now not worth the price. Go somewhere else. After a year, not much has changed. The food is still terrible.

Excellent food options, drink options, and people. Their prices on the food and drinks are very affordable and offer large portions that never disappoint. Their red and green salsa are always spot on as well as the service and quality of the food Overall. My personal favorite is the NASA Dinner! Chips & salsa was good & that s it. I ordered chicken fajitas nachos. They came out with a plate with about 8 chips each one topped with chicken, onion that was not grilled or cooked, shredded cheese that had been microwaved. Hubby had chicken,steak & shrimp that was overcooked or had been setting there all day.

Great food and drinks! The bartender (i think his name is Jose, he s tall) always has an amazing attitude and 5 star customer service. My cousin had her baby shower in the party room a few years ago and even that was great. They came in to check on us and make sure we didn t need refills or help with our food.

Typical Tex-Mex food the burrito I ordered was drenched in the obligatory queso which tasted like the can it came out of. I ordered the ground beef. There was a decent amount wrapped up in the flour tortilla. The mixture inside the tortilla was kind of a mix of stuff which I could not readily identify. The meat tasted like it was about to be off. The beans and rice were cold upon arrival even though they told me the plate was hot. Now to the chips and salsa. What the heck is that green stuff? It s a cross between a watery guac and a thick salsa verde with a watery guac. The salsa wasn t bad but wasn t great for a Mexican restaurant. I tried them that is all that is one and done

The food is pretty good if you like Texmex. The cheese enchiladas are spot on. I like service from Jose, but not big on the short, Hispanic waiter that assumes I can t speak English and only speaks Spanish to me even though I don t speak Spanish. I just think it s rude to assume someone can or cannot speak a language based on how you think they appear. Other than that, again, food is good and Jose is a super good waiter. Many of the other waiters are also friendly!

On this visit to Las Haciendas, the weather was nice. So, we sat outside. It wasnt too busy, but it did take quite some time to have someone come to help us. However, once we got helped, everything was great. We ordered the Wings Vaqueras and a couple of Granderitas. The food and drink was great, and we had a really nice time. We look forward to the next nice day, so we can enjoy the patio again.

This evening my family and I attempted to have dinner at Las Haciendas. Weve visited this restaurant on several occasions and the food has always been good. Its the service that has always lacked. Tonight we were sat and the waiter avoided us for over 10 minutes. We didnt get the opportunity to order drinks although he passed us up 3 times. It was apparent in his demeanor that he didnt want to be there so we wont be returning.

Ordered fajitas to go. Food was delicious. However, no sour cream on the side, no guacamole, no pico de gallo provided on the side. Pretty disappointed when I got home. We were visiting for Spring Break and wanted Mexican food. We decided based on the reviews and we were not disappointed. My husband and I took our 6 year old granddaughter. The food was exceptional and the customer service from every employee was fantastic. Everyone had a great attitude. They all interacted with our granddaughter and her stuff animal Chase . I had the enchiladas, my husband had the tortilla soup/salad and our granddaughter had a cheeseburger w/fries. The food was authentic and very flavorful. Watch out if you go here late. They say theyre open until 10 on here. Thats whats posted. If you go at 9:15 theyll lock the main door as youre walking up and just stare at you as you pull on it. The side door is still unlocked though, and if you go in there youll see the restaurant is still half packed. A waiter will intercept you as you walk to the bar and tell you that despite the restaurant being packed and despite the posted closing time being 10, they actually close at 9 because of covid and just havent updated any of their business hours in OVER TWO YEARS. UPDATE YOUR BUSINESS HOURS. MY WIFE AND I CAME ALL THE WAY OUT HERE FOR YOUR FOOD ALMOST AN HOUR BEFORE POSTED CLOSING TIME JUST TO BE TURNED AWAY WHILE THE RESTAURANT IS STILL PACKED BECAUSE YOURE TOO LAZY TO LOG INTO GMB AND UPDATE A SINGLE NUMBER. Youve wasted my time and I wont be giving you any more business because this incident has ticked me off so much. And if you can bother to log in and respond to this review someday, go ahead and update your business hours while youre at it. Worst experience here I keep giving this restaurant the benefit of the doubt but its truly a management problem. Service sucked ,food is overpriced, margarita was watered down not even frozen, seems to me like the managers are interested in the female customers more than doing theyre job. This restaurant has gone down from what it used to be , also was told by an employee they have roach problem In the kitchen they get exterminated once a month and the week they do the roaches come out to play. (1-23-22) Arriving at noon and being the only patrons should have been cause for alarm, but we chose to stay. The red salsa was served warm which was enjoyable. Our waitress, Alejandra, was evidently poorly trained. Our glasses were in constant need of being refilled. We asked for ice tea and water full of ice and were given glasses with a few cubes of ice. We asked for extra napkins and were given little square cocktail napkins. The chicken fajitas were delicious, but the onions were raw and not grilled. The beef fajitas were not best and the rice was undercooked. Alejandra didnt understand the concept of removing empty plates and glasses from the table to make room for new plates. The daily special was chicken fajitas for 2 for $21.99, but we were charged the normal price which was promptly adjusted. However, this restaurant charges you MORE for sweet ice tea than unsweet tea and the pricing is beyond ridiculous - $3.49 for unsweet ice tea and $3.75 for sweet tea. Warning to examine the menu and pricing carefully. While we were there, only two other tables were occupied - one for drinks and the other for a meal, which is odd as the nearest mexican restaurant, San Lorenzo, is closed on Sunday. Our recommendation is to avoid this restaurant.

A little pricey and just not what I expected for the price. Cheese enchiladas topped with bits of crawfish and shrimp is not how I would explain my $15 seafood enchiladas. Service was good. Not likely to return.
