Its a nice place, but Google Maps needs to do a better job at guiding people to the actual entrance. As of last Sunday, the only entrance I saw was around the intersection of Bartlett & Thomas.

Typically a great place to go for a morning run but today after my morning run I noticed that though the maintenance crew were present, the trash was abnormally overfilled. It s a park for family and fun. If they can t keep it looking nice, why even have a park especially with covid around; one would think that it would be kept up to hygienic standards. Great place for a nice walk. Except for all the dog poo. I understand its entirely up to the dog owners to pick it up, but were always having to dodge piles here and there - even more so than other parks that allow dogs. Besides this, the park contains around 3 different trails: 2 one-mile trails (or very close to one-mile), and 1 half-mile trail and a childrens park. The park is not fantastic for littler ones - most of the slides involve climbing intricate ladders, so not great for kiddos under 4 or 5. Pond is a nice touch, with lots of little duckies to see all the time. They allow catch-and-release fishing, if youre into that.

The park is decent enough for a run or a walk. Not enough foliage for my tastes though. There is almost no shade along the trails so expect to get hot if youre using those. There is a small pond with a dock in the center of the park. I wouldnt try fishing in it though. Its catch and release only and it seems to be pretty overfished by new fishermen(judging by their gear, behavior, and tactics). From the looks of the area Id say youre lucky if you pull out a even a single pan fish. I recently spent about two hours walking and jogging here and saw no one pull out anything out of a crowd of 10+ poles in the water. Id say save your time and energy and go to another park or creek. Better yet, get out of town for an actual chance at good fishing.

Its a really nice park and it has a pond full of ducks,fish and turtles very nice and peaceful not overcrowded plus they have bicycles that you can ask to use near the pool area you just show your credentials and sign and return it back whenever youre done plus they clean and sanitize before and after every use .

I personally enjoy my cardio walks/ runs because of the openness and cleanliness throughout this Community Park. If I am in need just to relax and meditate my mind from stress, just sitting by their water pond, just to watch the offened seeing on pond live ducks, turtles, fish jumping is extremely relaxing to me. I give a 5 star for excellence!
