It is very nice...with the water park it is very entertaining...just now in this heat it is only open on weekends and for what there is in Laredo it should be at least from Friday.thats why I only give it 4 stars

Nice place for kids to play in this Laredo heat not very shaded so I recommend you bring an umbrella for yourself and plenty of sunblock. They have several benches but I also recommend you bring your own chair if you want to sit perhaps near a tree with shade. Bring your snacks and relax

Although it is a little small, this park is very complete, it just needs more lighting. Playground: Very complete but on the large playground side there is no light. Toilets: I dont use those bathrooms, I feel like they dont clean them. Dog-friendliness: The dog area needs more fun but is very safe. Picnic area: This girl but they have to make meat hoe.

Very nice and clean. Lots of things to do for the kids. The trail is probably the best besides the trail at the north park. Playground: Its in good shape and it has a sun cover. Its definitely a exciting place for young children. Toilets: There one porta potty that Ive seen in bad shape but thats expected from a place without plumbing Dog-friendliness: Ive not seen many dogs at this park. The once i have encountered are leashed. There is a dog area and so far i have not had any problems with dogs at this park

Awesome park specially for our dog, he loves going to the playground. The only thing watch out for wild hogs, there are signs that warn about them and other creatures, but still keep an eye, and dont run if you see one or several they will chase you lol

This particular park is kind of unique. Unlike NCP that happens to very big, popular, and with access to some other areas and businesses; this happens to be at the end of a neighborhood. The walking trail is long and will take to another part of the city without you even noticing. This park has a childrens playground, sand volleyball, a dog park, open basketball courts, skating playground, and the bicycle/walking trail. The park also includes a very small BBQ cooking area.

My kids love coming to this park! Always clean and has a skatepark and volleyball area. Playground: Covered area Toilets: Port a potty Dog-friendliness: Theres a walk path Picnic area: Covered picnic area. Big enough for a small party

Its a nice place for a walk/run, a workout, some skating or even to play volleyball. Theres a good space for kids on the playground, although it could use more light there. Apart from that, the trail runs though different parks towards the south all the way to the river. Very nice

Just an observation, the lights do not all turn on at dusk, it would be excellent if they were all good so that you have better visibility and even more so because there are people exercising.

Its a very nice looking park, it has a skater park, two basketball courts, sand volleyball open space to either kick a soccer ball or play some football, a place to play baseball or softball, a jungle gym, gazebo, a sidewalk around the park and a sidewalk that leads to recreation center and beyond but in the evening wildlife come out like deer, javelinas if you are into that

City should have cameras installed to catch the people that leave their trash strewn all over the place. The inclosed dog park has damaged gates, the trail that leads away from the park is just as messy.

Great park to take kids. Theres a small soccer field and a walking trail around the park and a play area as well. There is also a porta-potty. They have covered picnic tables as well. There is plenty of parking. This park is the start (or end) of the Chacon Trail.

Everything is clean in this park but at night there is more light on the front side where the playgrounds are at than at the skating area near the woods. There were laughing coming from that area and we couldnt even pin point how many kids there was due to low light. Caution with deers and hogs !

It nice pretty small but it nice to have a picnic to have breakfast or lunch they have a canopy and seating area. They also have a playground. It has a trail that connects to the Haynes recreation center and while u walk there they have a doggie park where they can play really nice and peaceful neighborhood.
