Ok... to be fair, I understand that La Quinta just recently took over this site(?) - and I think my room (175) wasnt ready for occupation. At check in we were told the TV didnt work - but nothing else available. Not a problem for me - so I took it. Killed 2 cockroaches, the bathroom tile doesnt seem to be adhered to the ground, deep razor blade gouges in the bathroom counter and desk. No soap dish... not sure if its supposed to be one - but where do you put wet soap? The tp holder was on the floor with the tp set on the back of the toilet. I usually like La Quinta, so - hopefully this was just a one-off

It is a terrible Hotel, the sheets are stained, the room is destroyed, the air conditioning only humidifies and does not cool. Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired; It smells very bad. Ill never be there again. For what they charge they could do something for the facilities. When booking online, they dont let you see what the hotel really is like. Its a fraud!!

Terrible. Just terrible. I dont know how this place is still in service. My family and i stayed 1 night driving all the way from florida and all we wanted was to rest. We got our room and it seemed ok at first. We went to turn the tv on and it didnt work. My husband went to the front desk and she said the maintenance guy would come fix it. He never showed. The bathroom was gross as well. There was writing all on the walls. The AC didnt work either. The room was too hot. They never once offered us another room. Even though they still had rooms available for that night. If youre looking for a place to rest, dont waste your time at this place.

The service is terrible and sad, starting with the people who are at the reception, you ask them something and they dont know anything, how are they going to know if there is work, they dont know what hours the maintenance person leaves, it took them several days to go check a lamp It didnt turn on and then they left it anyway, I didnt fix anything. The towels that those who clean the rooms give you are always dirty and older than my grandmother, all scratchy. At the reception there is a very rude and bleeding long-haired boy who never bothered me. He wanted to go to the manager every time I wanted to talk to the manager, he told me that if he wanted, he would tell me the same thing as I said at the beginning, terrible service.

My experience at La Quinta Inn in Laredo was a mixed bag. On my way to San Antonio, the room was quite nice clean, with a working TV and comfortable beds. However, on my return trip, the experience was disappointing. The second room had leaking bathroom ceilings, damaged walls, and a strong sewage smell. Additionally, there was a noisy machine outside the room during the day, which was quite bothersome. It seems like luck might play a big role in your stay here.

The hotel was average. Room looked beaten up. No smoke detector inside room latch for door had the screws falling off and drawers screwed in. Drawers didnt open. We used the room for convenience. It is a very old hotel, the rooms have carpets, and they smell musty. Lumpy pillows. There are bugs, although you could smell the fumigation, at night I woke up screaming because a cockroach walked on my bed. In general, its a shame that they have the Wyndham accreditation, because it is ugly, gloomy and neglected. Just because its cheap, it shouldnt be dirty, because dirt has nothing to do with luxuries and comforts.

For starters I had to hang out and wait 30 minutes just for someone to come to the front desk so I could check in. Then he proceed to change my room from a 1st floor to a 2nd for and when I ask to be put back on the first flood he said no. I retract my review from earlier. I as a local guide have the responsibility to inform you the public of the truth and what happens in these places. I apologize to owners, but you have very bad management, employees except for a 1 or 2 that are helpful and nice. But your female manager has no experience at all or the assistant. They should know how to take care of guests and be respectful and careful of what they say of them. And not bother other hotel managers that have nothing to do with this hotel. They should be aware of the violence that takes place there. Keeping the hotel clean. Especially rooms, carpets and have clean linens. Not give out dirty ones. Have the pool area clean and not let the whole family use it to party and drink or smoke especially use glass containers. My list goes on, but I hope you attend to these issues. Noteworthy details: Sad to say, it is a very ugly place to stay.

Decided to save some money for this trip and go under 100 us dlls. Oh disappointment, worse La Quinta that I have stayed in. Owner should be barred from using name la Quinta. Not once during my 4 day trip was my room cleaned, even if I called them to request the service, which I called from my cell due that room phone did not work. AC did not work on first room and had to be relocated to a different one, smaller btw. Building is old, rusty and dirty. Lesson learned, never again. I will say that front desk Veronica was professional and worked with what she can. She is providing a 5 star customer service on a half a star location. Rooms: Ceiling peeling off, visible wiring on sockets, rusty items. Phone did not work, hair dryer did not work.

I booked this past Friday and did not stay ended up going to another hotel because of the room. The customer service was awful. Room service was offered every 3 days due to short staff. Room had a weird smell like something damp. Dirty sheets , broken fire alarm , damaged furniture stained rug and the bath tub was moldy and dirty. I originally had booked 4 nights but was dissatisfied with the service and the room. We stayed there because of urgency and location. The room had small roaches and smelled sweaty or dirty. I also forgot something that I tried to recover that same day, it is time that we have been trying to recover it with everything and it came back that same afternoon and they have given me many excuses not to give me up, the girl at the reception made it fun that I gave it up for lost. They dont answer the phone, if they do answer it, they leave you waiting and hang up on you. They told me to contact them by email, but they didnt provide it to me and no matter how much I searched on the web, I couldnt find it. Today I will try once again to go to see what excuse they will come up with for not handing over my lost object that has sentimental value, but unfortunately also some monetary value. If you have the opportunity to stay here, I recommend passing it up. If I recover my item, I will edit my review

Update 3/4/24 Booked room for 4 days, checked in and brought everything into my room. Up until now everything was going ok. Around 7pm I noticed theres no tv remote in the room so I went to ask for one at the FD and was told none were available and only solution was for me to change rooms. I wasnt gonna change all my stuff to another room after a 4 hr drive. So no tv. I checked out earlier than expected. ATTN owner, I cant believe you all dont have any spare tv remotes. Near the border. The place lacks a lot of maintenance, a lot. Dirty drawers with dead cockroaches. The shower was destroyed, there was no sugar for the coffee!, the food areas were super dirty, the heating device was too loud, Im not sure the sheets were clean (there was hair). We stayed at a hotel from the same chain three hours further from the United States and it was a completely different experience and for the same price. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! We booked a room as an emergency unexpected stay. As soon as we arrived to the room, we were shocked to find a bloody handprint on one of the beds. Upon further inspection, the other bed had shoe marks all over. We requested a smoke-free room, but the smoke detector was ripped off the wall & it absolutely smelled like cigarettes & weed. The toilet was over-flooded and there was a door connecting to the room next door that was NOT occupied by us (scary!). The television was broken. We requested another room given the circumstances, to which they agreed, but reception showed no emotion, letting me know they are used to these type of horrid complaints and do absolutely nothing to change it. The replacement room was better, but there was hair on the bed, TV had no remote, and it also had the smoke monitor ripped out. There was issues locking the front door, AND the bathroom door had no lock. It appeared to have been purposely broken. The bathroom had a half used up toilet roll that appeared to have dots of blood on. We immediately went to purchase our own. There was yellow fluid on the sink, and the towels were thrown inside the tub. The toilet was also broken and we were unable to flush. We were completely exhausted after 18 hours non-stop on the road, that I just went to sleep in the parking lot and waited for daylight. Everyone else opted to sleep inside but woke up with rashes and itchiness. We expected cleanliness above all other things, it is the least a hotel can offer. We seeked a simple name-brand hotel given the unexpected circumstances, and well, La Quinta is scratched off the list effective immediately. A Motel 6 would have probably done better than this junk. If I could give 0 stars I would give it The room smelled musty since we entered and they did nothing about it even though we let them know. Of the two there were, one A/C was not working. The television was scratched and did not work. Since we arrived in the room section where we were, the wifi did not work at all, it did not even connect to the wifi, we talked to see what was happening and they told me at the front desk that there was nothing they could do to solve it. They didnt even try anything!! At breakfast there were only waffles and coffee. There was a juice machine but the person at the front desk said it had run out early and he wasnt going to refill the machine. I couldnt eat my waffles properly because there were no knives! Unbelievable!!! Overall it was a horrible experience and if you are considering staying at this hotel dont do it! The staff does not have a badge, otherwise they put the names of the people who do not know how to solve the guests problems.

DON T BE FOOLED BY THE BRAND NAME!!! Even the LaQuinta sign is run down!!! The Laredo Building, and Health Inspectors should really perform a deep dive here!!! I have slept in better tents and homeless shelters!!! It s a feast, if you value black molds!!! The parking lot, is Full of litter and trash!!! The room, and outdoor trash cans STINK!!! The sink, instantly backs up!!! Yet, they seem to sell out every night, so I guess, MAYBE ITS JUST ME!!! Here s a few pictures, to SEE FOR YOURSELF!!! And, the walls are incredibly thin!!! My post is about the lack of hospitality. And by the sound of it the rest of the reviews hold up the same pattern .horrible service or lack of cleanliness; the owners response is almost robotic and it s evident as the same experience is posted over and over. Nobody is doing anything to fix the issue, stop with the lies owner and admit your property is and will continue to be a truck stop for construction workers - and that is ok! Stay away, folks! BUT . If you re looking for a quick nap stay over then this is def affordable and easy to access; just don t expect great service. I called ahead as I was going to be arriving after a long drive by at least 2 hours early. The attendant stated the facility was full the night before so I understand the time for cleaning. I walked in at 12 and he called me out saying he said no. I went to lunch and returned at 2:15 to be told it s only 2:15. I said they would be ready after 3 . Sarcastic and condescending. My 75 yr old mother asked to use the lobby bathroom and he said there were no available facilities and that the only bathrooms were located inside the rooms. We walked quickly to the next door Dennys and she didn t quite make it; she had an accident in her pants before she could make it to the bathroom. We were in town for a funeral and would be returning the next morning. The lack of service and quality of rooms were far far less than what s expected of such a well established name for years; this is my first and only bad experience with la Quinta and will definitely leave a last impression when it comes to deciding at which name brand hotel to stay on any future stays. Rooms: There is an apparent upgrade attempt gone bad.

The place is very well located. Clean rooms and in good condition. The bed very comfortable. The staff is friendly (receptionist and maid). The price is according to the service you receive (Room size, room accessories). For the same price other places offer you less; e.g. There is no refrigerator and/or microwave, the television is not cable, there is no breakfast (in this case it was simple but others did not include it). The only thing that is greatly needed is cleaning the parking lot. Advisable. Noteworthy details: Good location.

Service 1 star because I guess they don t know what customer service is they will not greet you. Noise complaints are ignored & not documented. When you receive the card to go in the room it works the first day & after that you have to go back to front desk to get it working but they will keep their conversation with their co worked before they can acknowledge you. This was my favorite but now it s just a hotel with high crime and not to enjoy yourself. Beware there is roaches also.

Absolutely filthy. Ive stayed in many La Quintas, this is not a La Quinta - its some kind of ratty motel hellscape. In the first room they gave us, the floor was sticky and filthy. The second room had a bit of a cleaner floor, but still filthy in places. Neither could have been well cleaned since there was trash on the floor from previous guests. The fridge didnt close, holes were in the tub, the faucet would not stop dripping. The vending machines and ice machines are in various states of disrepair.

As a reward member, I requested at the front desk of late checkout, but they said No. (Due to house cleaning) This hotel has a huge number of rooms and not at all full, but even one room can t be spared for late checkout. Very dirty hotel, stagnant water in the parking lot, very disgusting. Old, neglected facilities. The bathroom door does not close and is fallen. The bathtub has paint stains. The shower faucet with a wrong screw. Sleeping is fine, the HVAC works well, a good bed, television, and good location, the bad thing is the dirt and neglect of the facilities. The person who replies to these comments only copy pastes the same argument for all the comments, it is a lie that they are going to do anything about it.

OMG THIS PLACE IS A HOT MESS . DONT EVER RENT HERE.... My parents went to this location for a quick visit. The minute they check in they right away notice clothes everywhere like someone had been staying there. Next thing you know sure enough a couple approaches them and tells them that they had rented the room for a whole entire week. Shortly right after that management came out and said not to worry that they would take care of the problem and get them in a new room with a new key. Once they received the new room with the new key they unloaded all of their luggage and got settled in. Sometime went by and right around 7:00 p.m. a knock at the door. Come to find out management was knocking to tell them they had to relocate into another room. When my parents asked why management right away said it was due to police officers and that room had gotten into some trouble I guess from the previous people before and that they couldnt stay there. At this point my parents are both very frustrated senior citizens who cant stand a chance of loading and unloading luggage. On top of all of this restroom is filthy. At the very bottom behind the toilet its rotten and even the ceiling looks disgusting you can refer to the photos thank you..... No house keeping was done for sure. I dont recommend this place at all find somewhere else to go stay. Rooms: This was just a bad experience. No house keeping was done for sure.

We had already visited this hotel before. Very easy access. Acceptable rates, on this occasion we asked for a room with three beds and there are two rooms together, one with a double bed. Accessible staff. Large, comfortable facilities. And the waffles here are the best weve ever had. Rooms: Comfortable, good indoor climate, comfortable beds. Minibar, coffee maker, microwave.
