Ive been a member of Crunch Gym for a few months now, and overall, my experience has been very positive. Great gym equipment just dont expect to get everything you pay for. The most expensive Subscription allows you to use the massage chairs, tanning booths, etc, however the night staff from midnight and further always claims that these machines are down and not working. This is highly unfair for people who are only able to go at night. There was a time where the sauna was down almost for 2 weeks. If we are getting charged a $50 maintenance fee, why are these things not getting fixed? Is it out of laziness that workers do not want to setup the machines? I can assume this because every time i see the workers they are sitting down by where the beverages are sold or talking with gym guests when the whole gym always needs attentions. As you can see from other reviews, it is always dirty. Things are never restocked. Crunch, do better please.

I over did myself in sleds and I felt really weak and nauseous I started vomiting and the staff attended me right away making sure I was okay and they stayed with me until I was okay. Great staff attended me right away

Dirty. Dirty. Dirty. From the parking lot to the weight room machines to the cardio pieces to the restroom. Wow. Either they don t pay enough to get the staff hanging out in the front on their phones to clean or they just don t hire a cleaning crew in the afternoon. Disgusting. This gym is horrible, all starting with the manager. Very bad personality and horrible management skills. The restrooms are always a mess and missing paper towels to dry hands after washing them. No safety clamps for the barbells in the squat racks. And a daycare staff member who was great with taking care of the daycare and kids was fired for trying to keep the daycare safe. Overall a bad gym due to a bad manager. Additionally, the manager false advertise online, and when one tries to sign up in person, he try s to charge more for signing up claiming it won t give him the option to add the promotional price which he advertises. Scam artist.

The cleanliness of the mens bathroom is really very bad. There is paper, there is urine, dirt everywhere. the cleanliness is too bad by the gym staff. The water they use to wash the mops is thrown into the mens showers so the showers always smell like urine.

I used to love the old location. Ever since they opened this new one the music is always so loud (and so terrible) that I can t hear my own, it seems like no one ever cleans it, and almost all the machines are being used or broken. I ve seen some stains in the girls locker room that have been there since it opened. It only has one adequate changing room and the showers are not built well. I don t know what it is about this new location either but there s basically no such thing as re-racking here. I get that that s the patrons fault but you d think someone would go around and fix that if it s open 24 hours. This place really fell off, only gave it two stars cause the trainer I had was cool and very helpful.

I ve been a member at this gym for more than a year now. I m always greeted by the front desk. Customer service has been extremely impressive compare to other gyms I ve joined in Laredo. Staff members have worked with me to upgrade my membership, change my key-tag without any fees, and always make me feel welcomed. Crunch Laredo has a variety of cardio machines that I get to use, and also a huge amount of energy drinks to give you that boost for a great work out. My questions are always answered by the managers or staff members and their easy to approach for any concerns. Gym is always sanitized and clean when I go for my workouts. I would recommend anybody to join Crunch Laredo.

This gym has just been downgrading a lot. Their management staff leaves a lot to be desired especially when gym members are expressing their concerns about health standards involving their fitness classes. Example while in the fitness room during the zumba classes the room is extremely hot Im talking sauna room hot. And the manager Mario replied with well thats good because your getting a workout. In other words its okay to get heat exhaustion as long as your getting a workout out of it. Which is ridiculous because the health of any crunch member should be priority. Mario was combative with all his responses when I kept expressing that the room is too hot and we needed the overheard doors open. His responses of well its policy, or its to not disrupt the other gym members, or that because they dont want members who didnt sign up to enter the class is ridiculous. How come its not enforced in other zumba classes but only on one. I am not the only member who is legit dying because that room is way too hot. That room doesnt have the proper ventilation system or they dont want to pay the electric bill to keep the temperature at a good level. For every concern I had in reference to the room being too hot Mario always had a bad attitude and bad manner with his replies. He was sarcastic and excuse my French but he didnt really give a f@#$k about my concerns. Even when I asked for the corporate number to make a complaint he was like theres no corporate number but heres the email. Like basically I dont care about your complains and you can do what you want and shut up about it. So he tries to enforce policy above all but his staff aka other members of management were okay with opening the overhead doors at certain points. So yeah I find this totally unacceptable coming from a well known chain gym. He rather enforce policy than the safety and well being of its members. So heres a big fyi to all, beware of this manager when it comes to concerns and/or complaints because he will not help you one bit. And fyi Mr. MARIO its not the responsibility of the instructors to provide a good ventilation system aka (fans) in the fitness room, its the responsibility of CRUNCH to ensure those fans stay in the fitness room to make them more accessible for its instructors to provide some ventilation system to its members.

Crunch probably has the most powerlifting platforms in the entire city. Free weights all along the edges of the facility. Over 40 yards of turf for athletic movements. Multiple machines for each muscle group. It does fill up in the late afternoon and evening. But thats to be expected of one of the largest, properly spaced out gyms in Laredo.

Been coming to this gym for a very long time now and I really love the gym energy it brings in out people. Met and made so many new friends here and from time to time we ll offer some advice if asked about our workouts. They do offer and have trainers, have morning and night classes and even massaging beds, tan rooms. Children s area is available too. I highly recommend for any first timers, or people who want to add or switch gyms.

The gym is filthy. The bathrooms are almost always dirty but they never clean group fitness rooms. It s extremely unhygienic. I am in that room almost every day, there is the same dust bunnies and bunches of hair sitting there for weeks at a time. It s disgusting- people sweat and drip on floors that never get cleaned.

Ok so , we ve been members since January 2023. And at first it was a great place to work out. But recently , machines have been broken and unable to be used . There s a leg press machine that s been broken for about a month now and it s inconvenient because there s probably 2 other leg press machines that are always busy. That place is always so busy, there aren t enough machines to go around . Yes they ve got a lot of cardio equipment, but the weigh machines are limited. Not only that, they claim to be the cleanest gym in Laredo, but it s always so dusty. Napkins run out quickly and spray bottles don t work well either . There are more than enough people to accommodate the chores such as making sure machines are able to work and the cleaning supplies are ready and available. It is because all of these inconveniences we are going to change gyms .

Good evening, January 2, my daughters went to register but they were told no because of their age, one of my daughters is 12 years old and my other daughter is 15. They were told that they would not accept them, two of my daughters friends were also there, they gave the information. Very bad, I spoke in December and asked for information and they told me that if they put incompetent people and give incorrect information, if they do not serve as receptionists to treat the customer well, they will not do their job well anywhere, definitely terrible service.

I have been a member of Crunch Fitness for several weeks now, and I couldnt be happier with my experience.
