My husband and I like this place a lot. The restaurant is in a cute area and looks nice inside. I ve gone during lunch and during dinner time. The caldo de pescado is one of my faves. And shoutouts to the bartender, Luis. He s always helpful and friendly.

Only thing wrong was the bar tender seemed new. I ordered a long Island tea and he made me a margarita and poured tea in the class with it. Cant figure out how to reply to your reply so I just edited my review. It was Tuesday August 27th. A few weeks ago. It was a huge group from one company. You had to put a bunch of tables together for that bench seat area.

What a gem! Was on a business trip and we came here for lunch. Located in a neat town square its tucked in. Its got a great feel and modern traditional decor. An authentic menu and amazingly executed. The salsa and guacamole were great, which to me is a great judging scale to go off. I had several different tacos with beef, steak, blackened Mahi. Also some co workers around me loved the sour cream enchillada(I think thats what it was called). Great service also

Let me first say that the food and service was good. The only complaint I have, is with the staff sweeping while we are dining. They were sweeping directly towards me. I asked if they would stop, and they did stop. Minutes later, they started back sweeping near our table. This time with a man, who I am told is Elio - manager, hovering near by. He asks me is everything okay? I told him that sweeping creates dust cloud not always visible. He comes back with, its just a little bit. I tell him that I have lung issues. He asks me if I want a mask. This was my first time eating there. I think it is plain rude to sweep while people are eating.

This was our first time at the restaurant, and we were pleased. We had the Parrillada De Mariscos, Camaron Relleno, Plato Especial, and Fijita tacos. Some plates came with fish soup, rice, and ranchero beans. All were good. The small-town atmosphere was nice (family-oriented), and there was a patio that would be great on cool nights. Went here on a whim, accidently discovered the best mexican seafood place weve ever been to. Get the Octopus cocktail! A side of the fish soup was served with the 3 amigos tacos, wow. Everything we ordered was full of flavor. The ceviche tostadas do a phenomenal job of elevating the flavor of the shrimp. 10/10 would eat here again

La Calle Doce is a hidden gem. We were in the area and chose this restaurant because of its grilled seafood options and its ratings. Our visit started with fresh chips and green and red salsa followed by a cup of delicious seafood soup. Our main entrees were cheese enchiladas with shrimp rancho sauce and the seafood parrillada. Honestly, my husband wasn t crazy about his enchiladas. The shrimp sauce doesn t quite go with the enchiladas, but the rice was delicious. My seafood parrillada with rice, ranchero beans, guacamole, shrimp, calamari, and tilapia with bell peppers and onions was amazing! My husband and I split my seafood and peppers because it was a lot of food. Even though my husband wasn t crazy about his meal, it still had flavor and my meal was so good that it makes up for his. Therefore, I believe this place still deserves a 5 star rating. If we are ever in the area, we will definitely go back. My husband wants to try their paella.

Took my family to Calle Doce Lancaster to celebrate a family birthday. We had 7 adults and 3 small children the entire staff served us tremendously. We had no problems. We had a reservation and walked right in and had a great meal. This was my second time to eat here. Definitely will return many more times

This was our 4th time visiting. As always the service was great, the atmosphere is very friendly and refreshing even. The food today was even better than previous visits. We were pleasantly surprised that the rice today was not the white rice with corn. We learned the white rice is given earlier in the day. The white rice is good, the red rice is better. My husband commented that even the beans were better today (more tender and more flavorful than usual) and I think this is also a factor of the later time that we visited (perhaps the beans had simmered just long enough to give the bigger flavors). I highly recommend La Calle Doce at any time. Going for an early dinner rather than lunch feels like we entered a cheat code into the game.

Food was not good, got a combination plate of fish and shrimp and i got a very small half a filet of fish and three shrimp for $19!! Not good at all, it could have passed for a childs plate. Not worth it!!!! And the fajitas were soggy and without flavor!!! Not eating here again!!!!

Chicken was overcooked and dry. Guacamole was runny/watery. Tortillas was hard. Shrimp was not ready with order. Disappointed with order. Ordered Plato Especial. I have ordered takeout before and had no issues. Food was hot and fresh when I got home. I live less than five minutes away from the restaurant. Disappointed, wanted to enjoy eating fajitas while watching game.

There was a hair long hair found in my drink. Not looking for a freebie but the manager handled the situation very poorly. No one apologized. She was like we replaced it so what. I come out for the service, the experience and to celebrate a birthday, not to be served hair and made to feel like it s my fault when I speak up. Communication w/ the rest of the waitstaff is tough as they have a language barrier. Food was a bit bland for a Mexican restaurant. This is my 2nd time here. Would advise against dining here and I will not be back.

Hidden gem tucked into Lancasters historic square. The service is top tier. First visited on the Saturday before Mothers Day for a brunch. Returned on Monday for dinner with friends. The enchiladas are amazing. Hearty chucks of well seasoned chicken served with guacamole and sour cream. Their iced tea reminds me of Sun brewed tea. Their fish soup is serious business. The cod is delicious with fresh cilantro. Just the right combination of fish and potato. The seafood Pablo relleno was amazing. Flavorful and indulgent. Staff members were courteous, attentive and friendly. Very nice atmosphere. Im proud they chose Lancaster and Lancaster is obviously has chosen them. A nice crowd both visit. Definitely recommend.

I love love loveee La Calle Doce. Been a fan of them since first going to the Skillman location and was so happy to see them come to Lancaster. This location did not disappoint! Just as good. I eat lunch many times a week at the 12th st location. I live in Lancaster and work in Oak Cliff so I had to try the new one out. I was blown away at what they have done in this location on the square. The bar is absolutely beautiful. The whole decor is beautiful with the blue and white theme they carry into this space. The staff was so friendly and vibrant. All in all they really knocked it out of the park with this latest offering. Well done!

We went to the new Calle doce in Lancaster today for our anniversary lunch. The place is beautiful. The service was ok. But we found a twist tie in our chips. All the waitress said was that s weird . Also at the Calle doce in oak cliff the rice is red Spanish rice and the rice at this location in white with corn . Which my picky kids do t eat. We went there thinking we would have the same experience as the oak cliff location. Will I return?? No. There is better over priced food else where.

We went here on 4/12/24. One of the best date night dinners weve had in 20 years. The patio is just about perfect. The food was great. Our server came around just the right amount of times (not too often and not too seldom). The man singing and playing guitar added to the ambience. The staff was very welcoming, and really seemed to appreciate our business. A great dining experience on many levels. Were talking about making this a regular place for us.

La Calle Doce is my new go-to spot for some authentic Mexican food. I loveee a good chip and salsa, and theirs was DELICIOUS! The salsa verde has just the right kick. FYI the salsa is warm, I know some people prefer it cold. I don t mind it, and the flavor was fire. Now, onto the entree: the enchiladas verdes. It was a bit too much sour cream for me, but once I got past that, I really enjoyed it! The chicken was tender, and flavorful. I do wish the sauce they used on the enchiladas was the salsa verde they gave for the chips and salsa. It comes with beans and rice, which was also really good! I d give it an 8.5/10. The house margarita definitely snuck up on me! Its not too sweet, and they did not let up on the alcohol! 9/10 As for the vibe, La Calle Doce nails it. The place was clean, and the atmosphere is so welcoming as soon as you walk in. The staff was attentive and friendly, and will make sure you leave with a smile on your face. Overall, if youre craving authentic Mexican flavors served with a side of warmth and hospitality, La Calle Doce is the place to be. Trust me, you wont be disappointed! We have been a fan of La Calle Doce for longer than I can remember. We dont live in Dallas anymore but still make the drive at least once a month to Oak Cliff for La Calle Doce or the sister restaurant El Ranchito on Jefferson. Was excited when this new Lancaster location opened recently as its closer to where we live now. Was even more excited to see its the same great menu and options. We were greeted on our first trip by a manager with Welcome Amigos as soon as we came in the door, and we were hooked. I l love seafood and there are so many options to try that it never gets old.

The waitress was so sweet really nice girl and always attentive to her table. To start off the building is nice they did such a great job on the inside very nice. The places gives it a higher-end place to eat love it. The down side was the Jamaica water was kinda odd tasting I think it needs the device that stirs it around because the taste was a little tart like it was ready to go bad. I should have gotten soda. We tried the salsa the red sauce yum the green is okay but the red is better really spicy. We ordered a caldo de camaron it was good a good 4 out of 5. Also we tried the brunch enchiladas it was okay maybe a 2.5 out of 5 its 2 stack tortillas with cheese in the middle with cut poblano pepper and side of over cooked potatoes no rice or beans just that for $13. Everything else was fine. I would go back but be better off ordering soda and maybe caldo or try something else. I seen the huevos rancheros it seemed okay. The fajitas looked okay but needed to sizzle when they come out, I think its the veggies on the bottom that kept them from sizzling but the meat looked good and come with Pico and guac and cheese the beans to but they seemed they had more caldo then beans but a food 3.5 out of 5.

First, the decor, colors details. Ivy! Absolutely beautiful. Not cheap, felt quality and nice. They take pride and its clear. The food from chips, salsa, queso, entree, top shelf rita, and service...fantastic. We just bought a home 9 months ago around the corner basically from the historic square. This is a super cute, brand new restaurant in Downtown Lancaster. I had the Tuesday special (cup of tortilla soup with the Flautas Plate for only $12), and my husband ordered the fish tacos. The food was great and the service was prompt and friendly. We were both so impressed with this new addition and look forward to seeing the revitalization of the Square.
