My event was in 2022. Covid was just ending so there was no pushback on the day. Management had changed. They were still going to validate the contract. they already wanted to change some of the things I had on the contract. I seriously only had basic things decoration, wise BUT the day of the event I had a list of problems. 1. They still did not clean from the prior event they had. A lot of the tables needed 2 be changed out bec they had drink spilt on it and vomit. 2. We had to clean. And we went in at 10. 3. two hours till the event started and the tables were still not cleaned with new linens. so I told my people go ahead and to take off and to have them put the black ones on like It was in the contract 4. I was supposed to have a bartender, but that didn t happen either I had to have some of my own guest as bartenders. 5. event ended at 2am next day someone that was working with them had told my band to stop 30 minutes prior to the ending mark. 6. the AC was out and you know in Texas we need our AC for One of the hottest months. I m glad we had the pool book. And that was a whole Nother problem. 7. With the ac out the cake started to melt, looking like the lining tower. Literally, we had to cut the cake earlier than expected. 8. Some of the things that left behind I think one of the workers actually took at home. Please make sure if you re trying to do a contract with them you also have something stating if they change management. For it not to change in the contract. Because they are constantly changing management here. or for them to reimburse you on the hassle of doing business with somebody else because I made a contract just because I was dealing with somebody who knew what I wanted.

We held a two day wedding here last week. Is the venue spacious for 200+ppl, absolutely! For that I ll give two stars. The meetings leading up to the event were not pleasant, we spent the first hour recapping what we talked about previously. Sometimes they were no shows and we would have to reach out to them. We paid for the wedding on Saturday to go till 3am but day of at 8pm literally 8 police officers show up to stop our wedding because the venue doesn t have a permit. Thank goodness my cousin is an officer and got us till midnight. Antonio promised things that never happened, like a huge Mr & Mrs sign, 2 bartenders - the one bartender that did show was 45min late and hour later took a break to eat, luckily my family is in the service industry so they jumped behind the bar and an arch that we didn t even see till the day prior when we re setting up but by then moved the ceremony inside so we didn t use it. Our outside servers that we hired had to help the decorations team finish setting up tables because guest were arriving and they were behind. Our guest didn t arrive till 5pm, I arrived at 1:30 so what were they doing?! I d only recommend renting the pool side, which is what we did for Sunday, this is where the additional star comes in. Place is great but the individuals running it not so much, lack of organization and really just tell you want you want to hear to get that money. There is a helper who s name I don t know, I believe he lives on the property but he was helpful and nice.

My parents paid $11,000 to Cedar Canyon Ranch to have my sweet 15 party there and they stole the $11,000. Also other customers about 20 lost at least 1000 each for the same reason. We still have not been able to get our refund since owner and he s a former lover are still in legal issues. If you work hard for your money!!!

Its a nice venue. The pool seemed a little murky. I didnt smell any chlorine. Im from Vegas so Im use to being able to smell it and the water being more clear. However, Im sure no one rinsed off before getting in the pool. I didnt see any showers to do so.

Beautiful place! My family has had several events there but the last event we were very surprised with the way we were treated. Apparently there was new management and they are the WORST! Its pricy and they do not follow contract. Theyll want you to clean after your event. They state because you only pay half of the cleaning fee. How is that even possible? The lady in charge is extremely rude. Avoid being surprised!! Or carry your contract with you the day of you event. We didnt have it handy at the moment. BEWARE!

CEDAR CANYON RANCH DID AN AMAZING JOB ON MY WEDDING! IT HONESTLY CAME OUT AMAZING. I GOT SO MANY COMPLIMENTS ON MY CEREMONY IT WAS AWESOME. VICTOR WAS IN CONSENT COMMUNICATION WITH ME FROM BEGINNING TO END VIA EMAIL THEIR WERE SOME THINGS I DID NOT LIKE BUT THEY WERENT A BIG DEAL BUT CREDIT TO THEM THEY ORGANIZED THE WHOLE THING. I attended a quinceañera with my parents 2 weekends ago, beautiful place, really loved the decorations on the table. My little sister will be having her quince here for sure next year, the only thing they ran out of food but the manager of the venue went out of her way to get food from across the street for hungry guest, that was very nice of her. Over all I had a great time and enjoyed the patio by the pool! I will be here next year. Great service thank you.

I recently had an event at this place I must say that the venue was absolutely gorgeous but there were things that I was not happy about! 2 hours before the event was supposed to start the hostess had no idea she needed to hire a Dj for the event. We ended up getting a Dj that had no idea what he was doing I talked to him myself and he himself told me he wasnt sure what he was doing basically he was checking and trying everything out for the first time for 2 whole hours into the event.The music was horrible the whole time I had to keep telling him to change the music. My sisters presentation was very unorganized the Dj was supposed to announce her 15er presentation he never seemed to get the volume of the music right I had to tell him a couple of times to lower the volume he was talking right into the microphone and was really hard to hear him my cousin who is a Dj himself had to take the microphone from him and say the presentation himself like twice while she was receiving her gifts a loud unpleasant sound interrupted the presentation and it was very embarrassing and made it look so cheap and unprofessional the microphone also ran out of battery while my cousin was presenting I felt that all of that should of been checked before the event started. I was very disappointed. The venue is for over 300 people and they only had one bartender the lines to buy a drink were very long!

I attended an event at cedar canyon ranch and I was blown away how well organized the event was. This was a very large scale event from parking attendants, bartenders , catering , outside performance stage, pool party (Basically its own event) and vendor tents. Everything ran smoothly and I had a blast! I will be attending any future public events here!

This is your one stop shop for event center, anything you name it they do it! Family events, weddings, pool parties, reunions, BB-Qs, music festivals, car shows they do it all. One of my best friends had her reception here. Even though we made the best of it and did have a good time, my friend was basically screwed. Before we get to the wedding day, there was an appointment made for cake tasting that owner Sophia set up, not only did she not tell the cater we were going, she booked on the wrong day, did not show up or answer calls. And, we were suppose to meet with the photographer, and yup that didnt happen either. We had to reschedule with the caters/photographer for a different day. My poor friend had the run around like no other, and unfortunately she had signed the contract and was stuck. Not only was the venue not ready for the guest at the agreed time, there was suppose to be a surprise for them and it did not happen. As part of the package horses were suppose to be there for guests to take pictures with, since it did not happen, the owner Sophia basically said it did matter since it was suppose to be a gift from her. When it was time for dinner, everyone was told to serve themselves, but was agreed that serves would be serving. After guests were asked to sit and be served, Sophia then made comments to a bridesmaid that it was buffet and now her staff was behind for serving. There was left over margaritas mix in the machine from a previous event. We had to have guest bring ice bc it was not offered as well as cups bc its byob. Flowers that were paid for by the bride/groom were told could not be taken by guest. The music cut out during a song and Sophia blamed the band for the power outage. Also, guest house (which was included in package) was offered to bride and groom for the night but was told same day that it was unavailable last minute. Yet, Sophia was staying there and showed up and the end of night in her pajamas! Very unprofessional. Even some of the serves were rude. I do admit, the decorations were beautiful, but my bff had a bad experience. Oh, and if you do decide to book, if its byob, shell try to keep your alcohol too. Let me you, she had a pretty good variety of liquor and beer in the guest house!
