Damenion the manager on duty was fantastic! He was helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable. We also really liked the bartender upstairs. He was extremely attentive. Establishment was clean and we had plenty of space to have a good time. It was a great value.

If you allow someone to make a reservation online (including a 10$ non refundable convenience fee) for the upper level, maybe try having staff scheduled for that area first I have sensory issues and wanted to bowl in a quieter area so we thought it would be a good idea to make the reservation prior to going to ensure that I could really enjoy my time. Upon arrival, we were told we had to bowl in the lower area which was packed, blasting mostly crappy music, and with a temperature akin to a sauna, I feel bad for the staff members who have to work in that environment. Aside from that issue, this establishment is extremely overpriced for what you get. Games are so over priced and flawed it s actually laughable, especially when almost half of them are out of order/count double swipes and eat the credit without extending play time. The funniest thing I can recall is the claw machine I saw with rubber ducks that costs 6 credits to play ($1.50) when one of those rubber ducks costs no more than a few cents both to produce and purchase originally. Food and drinks were pretty average (but not bad) for an over $80 tab for ~4 drinks and one appetizer plate The bowling was actually the worst part in my opinion. We constantly had issues with the pins not being set up properly and the score not being registered, and when we were fed up, we finally we called for service, it took no less than 7-8 minutes, but the issue was resolved. All in all, we are innate people pleasers who don t usually complain about anything, but that was an incredibly underwhelming night of bowling for a grand total of $200 somehow? Most of the issues I stated are purely the fault of managerial team/corporate to make sure that the facilities are up to par, and I would really check out those lane issues. We bore the cost and learned our lesson. If you have the money to burn and time to waste in this economy, stop by I guess. But those bathrooms sure are clean.

We went to High 5 in lakeway as a meeting spot for family. The staff/management was all very, very nice. However, we order 2 items that needed to be gluten free. They brought out 1 that was not gluten free (I m glad I asked because the server wasn t sure and had to go ask his boss). They said they weren t able to make it GF because they were out of GF pizza crusts. Then they brought out the rest of our food and my husband s burger was without a bun because they d run out of GF buns. 2 managers came by to apologize about it. Then we went to go bowl and all of the lower level lanes were unavailable because they needed to be cleaned (??). It was an hour and a half wait. They then offered the upper level which is advertised as $10 more than the main level. When we got to the top level, our lane was being serviced and they were running the clock on it. After it was able to be used, we had them restart our time. Again, very nice staff it seems like it s just not run well with inventory and servicing.

Went for a Saturday night out with my friends, come to find out they close at 11pm (which a little early for Saturday, but that s on me). Although we get there and get our lane to bowl at 9:50pm, (unaware they close at 11pm at this point) and pay for 1.5 hrs of play. We were not told that they close before then, just encouraged to pay and given our gear. Later to find out they close at 11pm, which again fair, we figure at least we will get majority of our play time and miss out on maybe a couple minutes of play . Instead, at 10:40 they start bussing everything and closing down. (Now you may be thinking, wow, you were that guy to stay till close, but remember we were unaware, and we were fine with them closing up). Although, five minutes after at 10:45 they shut everything off, end our game and we lose 45 minutes of our bought 1.5 hr game play. No warning, before, during or after. Just stop everything, turn in shoes and made to leave. Extremely unprofessional, uninviting, and unapologetic. Would highly discourage anyone choosing this place.

Ive been coming here since theyve opened almost ten years ago and I keep coming back! The upstairs bowling is super fun if its open. The laser tag is also a really fun activity to do with a group. The VIP card is worth it, Ive gotten to play a lot more arcade games with it. They used to have more arcade games and it used to be cheaper, but still definitely the best arcade/entertainment facility in the Lakeway/bee cave area!

We ve been here several times as a family for bowling and dinner. The service is phenomenal, areas are always clean, the bar is never sticky. We can t get enough of their Nacho Avalanche and boneless wings, which I find better than most wing places. Kudos to the staff and management for coordinating five star family fun. I took two of my grandchildren to play the arcade games for almost two hours. We had fun. Noticeable lack of trash cans. I looked all over to toss a couple of water cups and could not find one so I left the cups on the bar counter. I did not order any food so I cant speak to that. I did however, have a look at the axe throwing cages and bar for an adult evening coming soon! Ill update my review after that experience.

We visited this place for New year eve s celebration , to end 2023 in a memorable way. Our family seating tickets were inclusive of bowling , arcade games and ringing in the new year since our slot was from 10.30 pm till 12 pm. It was very disappointing as nothing happened as promised by Hi Five. The bowling and arcade games were shut down way before time. There was no celebration at all. It was like a very usual night. The staff looked in a hurry to go home. We actually will never opt to come back for a celebration.

Love this place! Had to have a last minute Bday party for my teenage daughter and needed a room somewhere to have it in. I thought why not at High Five. Called Nikki, the event coordinator, and she took it from there there. She helped me with all my questions regarding food & beverages. The staff, a lot go high schoolers, were great! They waited on us hand and foot and were always checking on us to see if we needed anything. I did hire a DJ & Decorator on my own and they contacted Nikki and she made sure they had everything they needed. I highly recommend having an event there should you need a place especially in a time crunch. My daughters birthday was in December and Nikki & her team made it all come together beautifully! Not to mention the food was fantastic! Thank you High Five, Nikki & the team!

I was very disappointed with High 5 s services last night we came in from out of town and wanted to axe throw. When we got there at 7:00 we tried to make reservations for the axe throwing but the employee said no need to do that we can just come in later on an get a booth, so we order food and played games then around 8:00 we reminded the server that we still wanted to axe throw. The front desk employee said we could not do the axe throwing because they needed to start their closing process. Mind you that High 5 does not close till 10 pm. I don t know how businesses run their companies anymore however back in my day - you served the customer till the place closed and you did your closing process when the actual company closed for the night not 2 hours before closing time. We talked to the manager on duty and he was not helpful at all and agreed that it was too late (by this time 8:20) for us to axe throw. Ridiculous -the lack of work ethics or customer service this manager had for us. Not impressed at all! High 5 gets a negative star!

We went to order drinks at the bar things went fine. Then we ordered food on the app and at the bar (group of people there celebrating a very important birthday) and we were charged and waited an hour and nothing came out. We went to the bar and she said the system was down and told us she already said it was down and we were ignorant for ordering and it s not her fault we can t listen. She became very hostile and rude towards us. We ordered before the system crashed. She got the manager and the manager was so sweet. But the damage was already done. The bartender who worked Friday august 11 6-9pm ruined the whole birthday celebration for all of us. I don t recommend going when she is there.

If you dont care at all about bowling and youre not trying to improve your game, then this place is for you. You are bowling in an arcade, run by teenagers. If anyone wants the lights turned off, they will do it for them, right in the middle of YOUR game. They dont care. If you are actually trying to do well in the sport, go to a real bowling alley. The food is good, but Id suggest going to any one of Lakeways much finer restaurants.

I bought gift cards here in the total of $60. They overcharged my card. I called to have it corrected and the first time was mislead by a male manager who said would call but never did. Two days later I call back and speak to Katalina and she has a nasty attitude. Maybe because I called after 7:30pm and she sounded cranky. She was condescending and rude. I wouldn t recommend this place just from how they treat their customers. I hope those who will be gifted the gift cards are not treated the way I was. Would have given two stars, but we really enjoyed the customers in the lane next to us so they boosted your rating. We wanted to play upstairs but they closed the area (even though there were people up there). The servers seemed as though they didnt want to attend to us and it took three attempts to get service. The food was delicious! The arcade games were cheating me out of points. I played the least amount of times but the same games as the others and somehow ran out before the rest of the party I was with. I dont see myself coming back.

I recently visited high five in Lakeway and unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience. There were multiple issues that left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied with my visit. Firstly, I had seen a deal on their website that I was excited to take advantage of. However, when I arrived in person, I was told that they wouldnt honor the deal because it s spring break. This was frustrating as I had specifically gone there because of that promotion, and it left me feeling misled and disappointed. To make matters worse, none of the machines were working properly during my visit. I paid $50 but only got about 20 minutes of gameplay due to various malfunctions. This was extremely disappointing, especially given the high price point. Overall, I was left feeling very let down by my experience. Its important for businesses to be transparent and honest with their customers, and its especially frustrating when they dont deliver on their promises. I hope that they will work to improve their service and make things right with their customers in the future. However, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this establishment

This is a great place for large family, team, or corporate parties, with advanced planning and reservations. The catered food options and bar food and service are good. They also have nice meeting rooms away from the noise of the bowling and arcade if you want to have a meeting or award ceremony/etc. Also, the axe throwing setup here is better than several other places that Ive visited. The targets are projected onto the wall instead of painted, so you can play several different types of games, and you can use the computer to keep score as well (similar to digital darts). Like many other service/food business in 2022, this business is struggling to hire enough labor to fully staff the facility. They are actively pursuing more employees with rising wages comparable to surrounding businesses, but the labor market is a challenge right now. Please be patient with the staff that are working as they recover from a labor shortage.

This place really needs better management. Bunch of kids running this business. My wife and I went to go bowling. Checked the web site 1st and they were offering 1/2price unlimited bowling. We bowled 3 games and they shut us down in about a hour. I went to speak to them about this and they told me we were done . I didnt understand what was going on. I Spoke to manager and he said the young lady at desk didnt know the rules. Unlimited is not really Unlimited here. Unlimited is after 1 hr and someone else wants your lane even in the middle of your game you leave. Wow!!!! Good luck with this business model

refused to let me finish game after time expired even though I had 1 ball left to bowl or let me add (and pay for!) another hour so i could complete my game. clearly not a place for anyone who takes bowling seriously

Fun place to hang out and enjoy yourself! Fun for all ages, there s a multitude of activities and food and drinks for everyone! Not terribly priced. Staff are always very welcoming and helpful!

High Five Bowling Alley was very fun, they have an arcade, axe throwing, bowling, and a bar all in one. Very family friendly, and they do birthday parties. I highly recommend!

High five is really overpriced to be completely honest but if you take advantage of their specials it s fun for a couple of hours. Their arcade definitely cannot compete with Dave and busters or the like and they don t really have that many cool prizes. Axe throwing is okay but overpriced and the food is nothing to write home about. Friendly staff though

Overall, I had a very bad experience. We came to bowl and eat, about 30 minutes had gone by and no one had stopped by to even drop off menus or take a drink order. We went 4 times to the front desk to ask for some assistance or for someone to come take our order and they just kept saying they would send somebody. Eventually we went to the bar to place our order because no one had come. The waitress even came to help the group sharing a lane with us and immediately left without checking on us despite us having no food, drinks, or menus. They were not very busy, you could see the staff chatting and playing behind the counter even though we asked for someone to come take an order several times.

Be sure to go upstairs too. That is where you will find the fun multi-sport Top Golf bay, another bar, and more bowling lanes with more dazzling lighting. Very fun place!

This is a great spot to take the kiddos. Weve been here a few times recently and had a lot of fun. Its surprisingly never very busy when were there during the day. We had my 6 year olds birthday there and used one of the party rooms. The staff was super friendly and ran the whole party keeping the kids on a schedule of food, cup cakes, laser tag, and arcade games. It took all the stress off of us to keep the kids wrangled. I highly recommend it for b-days.

Cool place. Relatively small selection of games, but that is made up for because they have something that most places don t have. A hologate virtual reality game with a pretty decent selection of games, I think that is very cool. They also have bowling and laser tag

Lots of fun. It has changed quite a bit. Prices a bit high for Lazer tag and bowling. Per person. Wish they would bring back the hour play cards for the arcade. More affordable for kids to play games with no pressure to earn tickets. But Food was Awesome. Staff is friendly. Place is clean.

It was great. The staff was not intrusive and yes they were right there if and when we needed ànything.. the only complaint I have is on the afternoon I called to ask about the axe throwing and was told that they were going through a remodel and taking the event down that day. But when we were there we were told by someone else that it was available. so which is it? All and all great fun.
