I went on a night that featured their crawfish. They were 5lbs for $15. Initially, I was reluctant but decided to try them. They were really good. Our server Suzanne was very friendly and helpful. Food : 4/5

We only went there because of a special they had on crawfish. It was our first time there and I didnt want to the crawfish because I was scared of wouldnt taste good but my husband did order it. The flavor was pretty good, not the best Ive had but good. I placed an order for one of their plates and the waitress came back saying they didnt have certain items to give me that plate. So I ordered a Cheeseburger and it was good. We wont be back but the food wasnt too bad.

Absolutely not, very very discriminating. Very closed off to anyone who isn t like them if you even come off as DIFFERENT, you re not welcome. Expect off looks!!! My girlfriend who started her first day was very discriminated against!(she has autism) Had her running nearly all the tables by her self only to be accompanied by the only favored waitress to be sent to the back so she could finish up the final innings of her customers and take my girlfriends tips. No, Absolutely not. And that little girl running around is pocketing and turning all the efforts away the waitresses put in. Highly unprofessional, and this 10 year old girl is serving alcohol to adults literally grinding up on the pool table!!! Unacceptable. We will never eat here again, nor bring our business around Before you can say she was in training then give her training pay, especially if you re going to take all her tips and have her work till closing, that s not training, that s taking advantage of a young employee ####In response to your false statements and accusations#### Your response is an outright denial of accountability. To begin with, how can you claim she was late on her first day when I personally ensured she was there 15 minutes early? And what about the so-called free meal accusation? Its clear you are trying to deflect blame and paint her in a bad light without any evidence. You mentioned my supposed unpaid burger order, which is outright false. We always settle our bills, and insinuating otherwise is just another attempt to discredit us. It s also worth noting that you did not address the serious issue of discrimination and the inappropriate behavior of having a minor allegedly serve alcohol, which raises serious questions about your establishments practices. That little girl is in the picture I took right here. Moreover, you failed to comment on the most crucial aspect your clear discrimination against someone with autism. Instead, you chose to divert the issue by bringing up unrelated and unfounded accusations. This just goes to show the kind of unprofessional and discriminatory environment you foster. Before you make more baseless claims, focus on addressing the real issues at hand. Man oh man! Havent been here in about a year. Been a couple times these past few weekends and what an improvement. Im guessing new owners hence the name change. The food is great! I love the drinks. I get whatever the bartender recommends for my taste and theyre great every time. The seafood is a must! The crowd is always laid back never too crowded. The DJ keeps the music very versatile and its much appreciated. They have a few activities to partake in if you prefer to get a bit more social. Pictured is the roofie drink made by one of the bartenders. Kid-friendliness: I see families with young children come in pretty often.

The service sucked. The food taken forever and the place was not packed. The crawfish was Cold. Potatoes were Hard but it was replaced! Wings were small & they charge for Ranch. Had a table of 4Adults & got charged 20% on our ticket. Which I leave tip always in places but 20% for not a Large group is crazy.

Ordered the crawfish special. First of all, about 30% of the crawfish were only heads. The flavor was great. I didnt realize there was an additional charge for spicy crawfish. Potatoes were good. Shrimp was overdone and rubbery. The crab was ok, but flavorless. Do not order the nachos. They look good AF, but they are not. The cheese tastes weird and the chicken tastes like its the precooked frozen kind, so no flavor at all to be had. Had a couple coconut rum drinks, which were fantastic. The service, tho. Amazing. We had a wonderful waitress.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Rainouts bar & grill and I must say, my overall experience was very good. The food was delicious, and the big crawfish was definitely a highlight. The drinks were also very good, and the atmosphere created a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience. I appreciated the abundance of TVs and the fact that it offered the cheapest prices in town. Rainouts bar & grill is definitely a place I would recommend for a satisfying meal and a great time.

We didnt dine in, but saw they had a special on crawfish on facebook! By far the best tasting, cooked crawfish we have had in the area!!! We have since kept going back!! They were huge and so juicy . This last time we went we were introduced to a different flavor(Asian garlic I believe) omg it was Auh-mazing!!! The servers were sweet as can be and werent bothered with taking our order for to go.... but made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal at home. The atomsphere is like any other bar/grill but you can tell that the customers were enjoying themselves and the food. Definitely will recommend during crawfish season, when needing a break after work, or to catch a game! Kudos to the crew!!

They had a 15.99 5 pound special awesome deal but I asked for more seasoning because the crawfish is super bland the waitress said sure and offered a Asian style she felled to mention seasoning is an extra cost and Asian style cost almost 4 extra dollars. The Asian style is no different the crawfish was still bland. They advertised jumbo crawfish but most was small and medium and it didnt seem like 5 pounds at alllll. It took forever for them to bring my ticket and when they did it didnt have my discount for the crawfish on it so they had to fix that. Im not exaggerating. If u want a good deal go but remember cheap is not always better. Thumbs down oh and I ordered a pound of crab for my daughter extra seasoning because like I stated the waiter said 16 bucks for crab a pound well the ticket Said 21.00 a pound plus extra 1.00 for seasoning which it needed and 3.49 or something for Asian that I didnt even order with the crab SMH. My son pizza and fries was nasty and tasted boxed. I just paid and left Ill never go back.

Went on Mothers Day for the crawfish special: $25 for 5lbs. Some of the crawfish were HUGE and some were average size (not complaining). I ordered the spicy ($2 extra) and it was really good! Will definitely be returning! Please keep in mind that sometimes there are only 2 waiters and the wait for food reflects that. However, they were friendly and attentive.

Very disappointing since the move. We went for the Vince King show and the business was terribly understaffed. The food was cold and gross. The burgers used to be top notch, but now they are NOT. It took over 45 minutes to get a single beer, not because the server was bad, she was simply overwhelmed. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. I don t ever see going back in the future.

Wanted to call in an order for crawfish but phone goes straight to voicemail every time and tells you to message them on facebook, after waiting a bit they told me they don t do call in orders which is just odd these days. But by the looks of these reviews we dodged a bullet by not trying this spot for the first time. I did try to come here once to grab a bite to eat but the bartender was too busy with the 5 folks at the end of the bar (the only people in the entire place) to even acknowledge me for the 15 minutes I stood there, so I left.

Its not what its cracked up to be!!! We went and were treated horribly. We werent being loud and obnoxious just out to grab a bite to eat with family including my grandson. The waitress was really nice, she was new. There was a was a strange feeling when we first walked in. Its like we were being watched and for what I dont know. We asked for frozen margaritas, and they said the machine was broken. We asked for strawberry margaritas on the rocks. It costs extra for flavored drinks, ok, no problem. We got our drinks and then ordered our food. After a few minutes, the waitress came back and said that we needed to give them a credit to hold until we were ready to check out! We asked for what, we were not running a tab. She told us that is what the manager told her to do, and she kept apologizing. She realized what was going on. We told her we knew it wasnt her doing. We asked if that was the policy, then why wasnt it mentioned in the beginning. No explanation. We paid for our drinks and told her to cancel our order because we were going somewhere else to eat. We had traveled across town to try them out upon seeing their specials for today on Facebook. Oh, and by the way, one of my family members is a correctional officer who showed their badge to them letting them know we werent there for foolishness! One thing for certain, RAINOUT FORMERLY KNOWN AS CRAWFISH HUT dont have to worry about getting our business ever!!! #racismsucks!!!

Thats funny, Ive never worked for yall. I went to your establishment on a dinner date. It took about 20 minutes before any service was given, even though we were basically the only patrons there. There was a handful of people at the bar joking about with the staff, but that was all. We ordered appetizers, which didnt come out until we were done with our meal. Not only that, the appetizer was burned. We order crawfish, which were mushy and under cooked. We also ordered tacos for $2 Tuesday, and asked for onion and salantro, which we were charged $8 for both. My family and I have been going to said establishment for about three years, since it was the Crawfish Hut. But no more after the latest treatment and now accusation. I guess everyone who leaves a poor review must be ex employees or never been to your location. I have the receipt still, if youd like to see it.

This place was absolutely disgusting. Having a literal child under 15 selling alcohol to adults and even the food was not hygienic. Hair all up in the food. Look, if youre selling wieners, we need a good one. I grew up poor and I can identify a Bar S wiener from a mile away, its soft theres no flavor, theres literally nothing that makes u wanna put it back in your mouth after the first bite. The onions were cooked perfectly, the mustard was delicious. Maybe strain the sauerkraut, but also really good. Everything was good, on top of this floppy small wiener. Visited the establishment last Friday 6/23. I have been here several times in the past and had no issues. My husband ordered (2) four pound specials to go. As soon as we opened both of the bags, a strong smell filled our kitchen. The crawfish had a strong, spoiled odor, and they were extremely dark, soggy, and seemed like they were dead prior to cooking. My husband tried one anyways just to see and could not even get it down. I contacted the Facebook page, because I could not locate a working phone number for the establishment. They viewed my message, but never responded. I have given them over a week to respond and make things right before I posted this review. Eight pounds of crawfish had to be thrown away.

Took over 30 minutes to get a waitress, the crawfish was absolutely horrible and when we brought the food quality to our servers attention she just said omg that s soooo wild then walked away. I will say the server was very sweet but the food was so awful and when I let the owner know on Facebook he threw a fit and blocked me and anyone who liked my review. This place is run by a grown child who would rather bash his paying customers than admit maybe his food isn t as great as his ego is leading him to believe. The worst experience. First the waitress Aylin forgot some drinks took another 20 minutes to get that. Second we waited over an hour for our crawfish. And again some of our food was missing. No one ever came and checked on us. So we couldnt tell them. Everytime someone from our table went to the bar to get a coke or ask whats taking so long they acted like we were bothering them. Lastly, we get our check thats of course wrong. I tell Aylin and instead of fixing it she snaps at me. Then turns to the other two ladies and say yall two have a nice day. Food was good when they first opened, bad experience with the crawfish if you want to read the reviews about the crawfish hut. It s a dive bar with a theme to appeal to the blue collar plant workers but it will probably appeal more to the scaffold builders than the operators.

Waitress said she would be right with us 20 minutes later no one came to even take our order of drinks. But she did take 2 tables that got there AFTER US and LITERALLY RIGHT NEXT TO US too. We left to Guidry s. FIRST AND LAST TIME THERE!

Rains out is a good bar I have no beef with them the crawfish hut has poor service and management if you walk in to a place and see a sign with there special you expect them to honor them not wait till you finish eating and tell you the sign was not up date and that I should have check my Facebook for the live prices

Dissapointed. We loved Crawfish Hut. Waited for about 20 mins. No one came to our table. I asked the bar tender if she can call a waiter. Ended up leaving since no one came. I understand you are busy. But a simple hello/welcome goes along way!

Nice atmosphere. Full bar. Golf and other games. Crawfish - you get what you pay so they are still small. Ordered 5 lbs for $31 and about 1 lb was mushy. Came with 1 corn (over cooked) and two potatoes. If you dont like pasty seasoning on them dont order hotter than extra spicy. The Chicago hot dog was just a dog with something resembling kraut. Sent it back and it was removed from check. Onion rings were decent. Cocktails were okay at $7 and $5 extra for double. Meal for 2 (minus dog) priced at $70+ with tip. Will try crawfish again next month perhaps.

Been here twice. Once on a Tuesday for the taco special and karaoke with momma Cass. Karaoke was a freaking blast. She knows what shes doing and has every song you could possibly want to sing. The chicken for the tacos was pretty dry but everything else weve eaten here was really good. They give you 2 hotdogs with an order and they are loaded with toppings so make sure to ask for a fork. Drinks are good. Bartenders were friendly and working their butts off. Im guessing they may be a little short staffed so be patient with them.

Very cool place! Lots of upgrades since I was last here. Great menu items. You have to smoke out side now. They have a patio area with seating and heaters. They were doing Crawfish Saturday night. Kareoke on Saturday was great. Very busy and could use more wait staff, took a long time to order and get drinks. Food was great . I ll definitely be back on a not so busy night.

Ive known this place a pretty long time. Changes names as often as the seasons. Rainouts seems to be a good clean bar, friendly staff, and a menu that made me hungry. The hotdogs I ordered though had so much tipping on it I couldnt pick it up with out making one hell of a mess. Ill deffinatly give it another chance. Seems worth that much at least.

You bully people you dont like and abuse of power by saying your brother is a policeman of Laporte. You claim to be a kid friendly bar and grill, but you have no changing area for them. You go and look up other peoples profiles, humiliate them in their reviews and the truth is you cant handle the facts. The food is good, Ive gone there a few times and enjoyed the karaoke and drinks. I even got a couple paid by regulars. I dont respect your bar anymore. Letting children run around after 2100 is poor parenting especially when there are staggering patrons near them. Im surprised your brother allows that. Maybe he should pay more attention to them than the hard working guests trying to have a good time. I pray those children stay safe and protected.

Had a ton of fun here listening to music and playing darts. Ive tried this place before they became Rainiuts a couple of times and never stayed long enough to even get a drink but we spent a few hours here our first time!! Great place to hang out.
