Sage Hill was the perfect getaway for our 5th wedding anniversary and baby moon. This place really feels like a home away from home. Well-appointed rooms, great food, and thoughtful hospitality, Sage Hill has it all. We are already planning our next trip back. And go see Dominique at the spa!

Amazing place! My fiancee and I stayed at one of the Casitas which had its own private whirlpool and hot tub overlooking the beautiful hill country. Our Casita was clean and beautiful on the inside. It was quiet and secluded and gave us the perfect relaxing getaway. We ordered the charcuterie board to and bottle of wine to our room and it was delicious. We hiked the property around sunset and took in the beautiful scenery. We also enjoyed playing at the pickleball courts. We ended up sleeping in late for breakfast, but we did enjoy the dinner that came with our stay. The library was a fun spot to hang out, eat snacks and play board games. Sage Hill is just down the road from where we live, so we will definitely return many times when the need calls for a quiet staycation. Food and drinks: The food at Sage Hill was delicious, but there are amazing restaurants and wineries in Wimberley worth checking out too!

We just enjoyed a lovely weekend in the Hill Country at Sage Hill! Beautiful scenery, great service and food, and fun amenities. I wish I could spend every weekend up here enjoying the pool and bocce ball court. My only complaints, which is more like a suggestion, is that the walking trails could be better maintained. Other than that, our weekend was perfect! Shout out to Aric for especially great service.

Our massages were amazing. The property is so gorgeous and the staff is so nice, and there is a kitty on site which is always a bonus! The chickens are also fun to visit, and I ll have to check out the pickleball next time. Would def recommend!

Perfect place to getaway when you dont want to hassle with travel! Quiet, relaxing, and peaceful. Verbena Casita was very roomy and elegant. Hot tub and swim spa were perfect. Even got a swim in on a 45 degree day. Trails are easy (2.25 miles) and offer shaded and nice walk. Dinner was sensational and as an included option I thought it was perfect. My favorite was the braised beef. Breakfast was also wonderful with treats and healthy eats. Overall a fantastic value!

Our spa day-cation surpassed all expectations, offering an extraordinary blend of massages, delectable lunch, and access to the breathtaking property. Its indescribable the expansive skies, tranquility, and serenity create an unparalleled atmosphere without city distractions. The Swedish massage, complete with essential oils and a luxurious foot wrap, exceeded our expectations. The linens were sumptuously plush, and we indulged in the outdoor hot tub and pool, incorporating a therapeutic hot and cold dip. The staffs attentiveness was unparalleled, delivering lunch, drinks, and wine with impeccable timing. The chefs creations, like the Avocado BLT and spicy Ham Panini, were delectable, and even the homemade cookie was a delightful touch. Every detail was meticulously thought out, from sunscreen and towels to walking sticks and warm saddle blankets strategically placed throughout. Exploring the library, trails, and sitting by the fire ring provided additional moments of joy. The rooms were not only spacious but also tastefully designed. I wholeheartedly recommend the package and spa experience; the refreshing and relaxing feeling upon departure is guaranteed. This place exceeded our expectations a thousandfold. Noteworthy details: Exceptional attention to service & details.

Just spent 3 days at Sage Hill. Its on a beautiful piece of land with a few trails. So peaceful and so quiet! We stayed at the Ranch House which was wonderful. Great back porch. Not much of a view due to the trees but so private. They have some amazing pickleball courts. Only downside is the courts areoutside without any cover and the weather was a rainy and windy but we managed to play all 3 days! The food was adequate. All the employees are so helpful and very nice. I had a massage while with Greg and he was wonderful! Ill definitely be back.

I recently had the pleasure of attending a corporate retreat at Sage Hill Inn, and I couldnt be happier with the experience. The views from the inn were absolutely stunning, providing the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The staff was incredibly attentive and made sure every aspect of our stay was perfect. But lets talk about the food - it was beyond delicious! Each meal was a delightful culinary journey, and I was thoroughly impressed with the variety and quality of dishes offered. And dont even get me started on the bed! Its no exaggeration to say that the bed at Sage Hill Inn was the most comfortable Ive ever slept on. After a long day of activities, sinking into that bed was pure bliss. Overall, my stay at Sage Hill Inn was a serene and rejuvenating experience. There is a large screen above the fireplace which made it easy for our presentations. The team LOVED being together! Later that night we met for dinner at the inn. Spent the weekend at Sage Hill Inn in the Michaelis Room. The room was pretty comfortable with the exception of the pillows which seemed old and very lumpy. I would have preferred not to have carpet on the floor. The food wasnt great. First night the salmon was very dry and overcooked, soup didnt have much flavor, the 2nd night I had shrimp and grits. Shrimp was cooked well - grits werent very good. My husband had the steak the first night which was okay, pork chop the second night was over cooked and tough. The food, especially the lunch picnic is delicious. The Ranch House is serviced by Housekeeping, but only if you arrange it the day before. The kitchen at the Ranch House large so we took a lot of our own food and prepared it there so we could enjoy the house. In the last four years, they havent had any incidents like this. Im assured they are taking the necessary steps to make sure this doesnt happen again, and I really appreciate the responsiveness of the staff. -------------- My husband and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. Unfortunately, we had to cut our trip short because on a Saturday afternoon, we came back to our room to see evidence of rodents throughout the room. They had gotten into a hot chocolate packet in my suitcase and left droppings around the room. I discovered the Inn when my assistant booked me something nice from a list of recommended lodging for the family weekend at a nearby treatment facility where my son was a resident. It was an emotional time and coming home to the Inn was refreshing. Ive never stayed anywhere like it! Clean, quiet, quaint and uniquely furnished, its the opposite of a cookie cutter hotel room. All the staff were SUPER friendly and helpful especially since I hadnt researched their meal routine; they called me if I forgot my dinner order! The food was quite good and was served inside or out or for pick up! I spent a morning at the spa was it lovely as well. My only complaints- 1) the lack of an elevator to the 3rd floor Schlemmer room..... That said, I had help with my bags from the staff and the view is epic! 2) It is hard to arrive after dark-t he sign is only visible from the road from one direction (not the way from the airport). after the mile drive in, I drove around in circles for a bit. It was 10PM Once I found the correct building and hauled myself up 3 flights of steps the Sclemmer Room took my breath away. Its the only room with two queen beds and is huge- like a suite. The breakfast was nice although Id love to have seen some gooey pastries. I highly reccomend this idyllic Inn

Rented a cottage to celebrate my wife and I s anniversary. The cottage was disgusting. Dirty underwear left hanging on the towel rack from the previous guest. The cottage hadn t been dusted or mopped in god knows how long. The bath tub faucet had a leak that shot water to the ceiling. The bed is terrible, and the TV remote was a joke; you had to stand in the closet with the satellite box for the remote to work, then run out to the living room see what channel you want, before then going back into the closet to select the channel. The resort pool and deck is dirty and in old disrepair. And to top it all off, I got food poisoning from the disgusting food provided during our first three course dinner, and then spent the night with diarrhea and vomiting. The only positive about this nightmare, was that we ended our weekend after only 12 hours, and we received a full refund. Putting aside the food poisoning, this place is not worth $600/ night.

This was a wonderful place for a relaxing weekend as a couple. My wife and I went out explicitly without any planned activities to just relax and spend time relaxing someplace and the Sage Hill Inn & Spa delivered. The food was delicious, the cabin was wonderful (we stayed in the Mt. Laurel Cabin) and we had a wonderful time. We even got to hold and feed the chickens.

Sage Hill Inn was the perfect place to go relax for the weekend, to escape the hustle of family life in Austin. The Inn feels very secluded from the world, and is not too big with too many people. I stayed in the double queen Schlemmer room which ended up being a huge room for just me! Those 3 flights of stairs are not for the faint of heart! But well worth it for the view. The food from the restaurant was amazing, I have zero complaints! The pool and deck was perfectly situated in nature, and I loved that water, towels, and sunscreen were all available right next to the pool. I had 2 spa treatments and both were great! As a novice gardener, I loved wandering through their garden to see all the beautiful vegetation. I will be back for sure, maybe not in the 3rd floor room though!

What a rip off. Average dinner, terrible breakfast (how do you run out of cream cheese by 930am?) and a terrible room. The door to the room had cracks to let bugs in. The bed was so lumpy that at 1:30am I got up and went to sleep in my car. You are better off staying at a Courtyard Marriott - better food and better bed. I ve stayed at many hotel, motels and resorts - this was among the worst. The only nice thing is can say is the staff is nice.

There are a few great things I can say about the sage Hill Inn. The grounds are beautiful, quiet and serene. I love that there were no children, my husband and I could enjoy a quiet getaway. The rooms were clean and majority of the staff friendly. The pool was our favorite part because of the massive tree providing ample shade. With that being said, they boast on their website their restaurant is world class and I think it is far from that. The food was absolutely terrible. They asked for our order before arrival and in two emails I mentioned my husband being vegetarian and they still managed to plop a big steak in front of him at dinner and were unsure if they d be able to give him the veggie option (luckily they did). The steak was awful, the sides provided were not good. We ended up dining off the property the second night (if you re visiting go to wimberly winery and eat their pizza truck, best pizza I ve ever had). We also gave breakfast a shot and paid $15 for burnt and hardened waffles that a knife couldn t cut through. There is no other food options. You can t eat lunch or get a snack if you re feeling hungry and at the price we paid I think that s not the best experience. Coffee says it s served at 7:30 but at 8am I tried to get some and the individual who makes it hadn t arrived. By 8:30 there was no cream or sugar out and when I asked the individual he seemed put off by my request. You can only get alcohol when the kitchen is open- I don t think it can be referred to as a restaurant and everything closes early so that was a bummer as well. If staying here- prepare to bring your own alcohol, snacks and dine off premises! As far as a quiet getaway, it was perfect for that!

We booked an overnight stay at the Lantana casita at Sage Hill Inn & Spa this past weekend. It was just what we needed for a peaceful, relaxing evening under the stars. The grounds offered plenty of trails for hiking and enjoying the hill country. The casita was charming and cozy; yet, very modern. Our favorite amenity by far was the private pool spa. We were also pleasantly surprised by the delicious dinner and breakfast. Mr. Burkhardt and his staff were attentive, welcoming and I highly recommend Sage Hill.

Our server Ryder was awesome and made our dining experience really nice. The staff also brought breakfast and dinner to our room upon request. I stayed two nights at this hotel. We were mainly satisfied with our stay, the rooms are beautiful and homey. But we are really disappointed with our check-in. I found evidence of bed bugs in two of the rooms in separate buildings and upon letting the receptionist know about the second room, she said, If this next room doesnt work out for you, you may need to find a different hotel. We are almost at capacity and I cant have you messing up all the rooms! Um, I was actually giving this hotel a free service of saving THEM the hassle of having someone very upset from getting bitten by bed bugs. I personally take evidence of bed bugs very seriously because blood on sheets and beds is a biohazard issue, especially during this time of covid! If you stay, check for bed bugs and also note the staff may not be very understanding of your concerns about a biohazard in the rooms.

Me and my girlfriend have been to Sage Hill twice now in 2020 (once in August for 4 days in the Nance Suite and again this week for 3 days in the Kyle King). We both LOVE it here! They ve done such an amazing job creating a relaxing, tranquil environment that s super safe during these crazy covid times. The food is so great (highly recommend getting whatever soup they have to start and I personally enjoyed the steak cooked medium and garden vegetables)! The sparkling rose they have is also perfect with the dinner vibe. We loved having the dinners outside on the patio (tables were spaced 6 feet apart and servers were super friendly and wore masks - Oliver is great!). The spa is also amazing! I had one of the best massages of my life two days ago (will update this review with my therapist name in a bit). The pool and hot tub are amazing! Also, the property has plenty of well kept hiking trails that are perfect for everything from casual hiking to trail running (did both myself). We ll definitely be back and want to thank the staff again for being so warm and hospitable!

My wife and I just finished our fifth annual stay at the beautiful and peaceful Sage Hill Inn. This year was a little different thanks to Covid-19, but everything was still perfect. The location and the accommodation is perfect. This year all meals were delivered to our room, and although this was an adjustment we quickly got into the groove and the food was delivered hot and tasty with a smile clearly seen in the eyes because all of the staff were wearing masks. We go to recharge and almost as soon as we arrive we can feel the stress of the previous months slowly but surely slipping away. We are already looking forward to returning the same time next year. Thanks Sage Hill - you made us feel very safe and welcome.

I am in agreement with Liz s review from a month ago. I wish there was a no meal option. The food was the worst. The chicken was so bone dry that I could not even cut through it and my husband said the shrimp tasted like it was a frozen meal, thawed and heated with no flavor. They did bring up another chicken for me that I could cut through but it still was not good. You can not screw up a continental breakfast. That was okay at best. My husband had the sweet potato hash with a over easy egg that was over cooked. He ate the egg but was not happy with the hash and did not eat it. I am wondering if room delivery of the meals had anything to do with it. Based on food, Sage Hill would have gotten zero stars. On the up side the location, facilities, staff and spa would have gotten six stars out out five. AMAZING!!! I graded in the middle.

We stayed 3 nights. The positive things: Good location and set in nature, lovely accommodations, nice pool area, relaxing retreat feel, good wifi. Appreciated that they provided free cold bottled water in various places. Also had sunscreen and bug spray available for free. The 2 complaints: noise and food You definitely hear your neighbors. We could hear stomping above us and every toilet flush as well. Also, we could hear entire conversations from our neighbors next to us (they were speaking at regular volume) - I even heard one whole side of a phone call. The food was the HUGE disappointment, especially given how many people raved about it in reviews. Perhaps the problems were because of Covid-19 and how things changed because of it. Food was delivered to our rooms - dinners were usually luke-warm at best, under-seasoned, and the meat was dry. The continental breakfast was average - no real complaints about it (croissant, bagel, yogurt, fruit cup, muffin, juice). All of the food was forgettable, and we didnt even finish our dinners because they werent that good. We ate takeout from two local restaurants and both were much better quality and taste. Maybe the poor meals were due to Covid-19 restrictions - so just make sure to consider that if things are still being modified.

Oh man, after losing a close family member to Covid and having to postpone our wedding for a year, we really needed to find a place to get away and recharge. Nervous about the current state of things, we called Sage Hill, told them of our situation, and they assured us that we would be well taken care of. We were told they would not have anyone service the rooms unless we explicitly asked and even told us they were limiting occupancy and no one would be in the room next to us. Excited, we booked. The first night we went through the spa menu, picking out what treatments we would get on our hopefully annual trip. Well, apparently what they told us were both complete lies. The next day a couple cheerfully rolled their suitcases into the room next to us. Ok, fine. Saturday we came back to our room to find someone had been in it, halfway cleaning and moving our personal items. We called to ask about this. No apology. Nothing. I mean, if they hadnt told us these things were definitely not going to happen it wouldnt be such a big deal. Its the fact they lied. Now we are currently waiting on the breakfast they simply forgot to deliver to us this morning. Nice property. 1 star service. Between the anxiety attack I had and the fact that Im hungry this morning, we definitely wont be returning. Uodate: for as expensive as this place is, and the fact that they forgot our breakfast, was kind of hoping for something other than the bottom part of a bagel.

My new husband and I stayed here for a mini post-wedding get-away and we both wished we could have stayed a week longer!!! It was absolutely the peaceful retreat we needed after the exhilarating fun of our wedding. The grounds are stunning - the outdoor porch for breakfast and dinner, the firepit, the pool, the trails. So many deer, rabbits, butterflies, busy bees and other wildlife to see. The room was also SO comfy. We stayed in the Nance suite and it was perfect. Quiet & comfy with a huge jetted tub. We also got 90-min massages and those were divine. The only negative I have to write is our experience with the checkout process. Its our fault for not noticing this but checkout is at 11am - which is early compared to most hotels. They had another guest coming to stay in the Nance suite the day we checked out so they were unable to be flexible with our checkout time, which is understandable, but we were still eating breakfast at 10:15am when we realized checkout was so early. Just be mindful of this! We will definitely be back for anniversary trips in the future!

My wife and I stayed at Sage Hill Inn, and we were both mesmerized by the serenity of the place. The facilities were meticulously maintained and stylishly decorated - a bit country chic, rustic, with plenty of modern amenities. The staff were welcoming and personable, and always ready and willing to help with any of our needs. And the food... the food was amazing and plentiful! The Inn sits atop the hill and has a breathtaking view of the Texas Hill Country for miles around; it feels like youre far away from the everyday hustle and bustle. The inn is about a mile off the main road, which adds to the feeling of being surrounded by nature, and ensures no noise pollution from passing traffic. We stood outside our room and watched the local deer and roadrunners meander through the trees and brush. The inn also maintains a garden, and local birds, including colorful cardinals, constantly come by the feeders. Everything created a peacefulness that helped with unplugging (though theres available wi-fi if you dont want to completely unplug). Our stay was too short to take in all that the inn had to offer, but we will definitely return and recommend to our friends and family.

We stayed in Maurices cottage and it was perfect. Loved sitting on the porch each day and soaking in the sunset before dinner. Walked the longest trail but didnt finish because it was a little too rocky and slippery from earlier rain down the hill towards creek for my wife who has weak knees. Cant wait to do this again next year.

Relax..if that is your bag this is your place. My wife and I had 7 days in the Nance Suite and could not be more happy with our choice for a romantic honeymoon stay. Every single person at Sage Hill, house keeping, the front desk, Spa techs, the FABULOUS Chef and servers go out of the way to make you feel at home. I travel often and seldom see this level of commitment to excellence and delighting the customer. If you enjoy a comfortable home feel set on naturally beautiful grounds surrounded by endless wineries.. distilleries...and Texas kind of stuff to do..well this may be heaven for you. The on site food ( breakfast and dinner ) are outstanding btw.. This is our second stay and plan on making our stay an annual event, yup its that good. PS.. If you are an uptight, fussy, or a pretentious ass this is really not your place.. Im sure the nice folks at Sage Hill will do their best to accommodate you but I sure dont want to meet you in the dining room !

We had an amazing time staying in Maurices Coach House! So private and relaxing. The food was amazing as well. The only regret I have is not staying longer! I also wish I would have tried out the spa. We will be back again.

We had a fantastic time. This was a babymoon (our second) for my wife and I to get away and have some alone time. We stayed in the Nance King Suite, which was fantastic. The pictures on the website dont do it justice. The food was outstanding, and the people were very kind. The only negative was the lack of communication between the front desk and the spa. We booked the reservation months in advance, with a couples massage, and they did not have any record of it. They scrambled to get a massage therapist onsite. There was again poor communication between the front desk and kitchen on Sunday, after we had requested to have lunch before we departed. In all fairness, I was told that this was because they have new staff. However, we were not impressed. I would still recommend this to anyone interested.

Absolutely love this Bed & Breakfast! The cottages are nestled comfortably in the middle of breathtaking views. The food is exceptionally scrumptious and I always look forward to the unique menu. Love the simple touches such as the flowers on tables, the rooms, and in the garden. Beauty surrounds this historical fun resort everywhere. The Spa was amazing and very much appreciated. Everyone was welcoming and professional. I will come back again and again. This is my fourth time to stay already. Thank you Sage Hill Inn Above Onion Creek!

We went on a girls weekend. My friends and I flew in from all over. We had such a good time reconnecting in this beautiful setting. The staff went above and beyond to make our reunion a great experience. The food was fabulous, the rooms were comfortable and cozy with the gas fireplaces. The hiking trails were well labeled and made for an enjoyable afternoons activity. The fire pit in the evening with warm blankets was a highlight. The servers and chef all made sure that all of our dietary needs were met and we loved the fresh veggies and herbs from the garden. The servers were all friendly and helpful. You never felt rushed. It was all very relaxing. The spa staff were also wonderful, we would go back in a heartbeat. Cant say enough about what a relaxing weekend we had. Thank you.

WOW! This little gem in the Hill Country is just wonderful We stayed there during the Christmas Break and it was so enjoyable. Dinner and breakfast in the morning was excellent. Great service and they really cater to their clients. Sitting outside on a cold night by the fire pit with their awesome blankets was relaxing and peaceful. Beds were so comfortable and room was clean and quiet. Added bonus with some great wineries close to their location. I would highly recommend this location and we will be back for sure. A+

The spa is wonderful. I have had a couple of different massage therapists and both were exceptional. The Inn staff are very polite, customer oriented and friendly. I like that if you are visiting the spa, you can also use the other facilities like the pool or walking path for the day. Lunch after a massage was the perfect portion and the food was very good. Just be sure to schedule the meals if you would like to include them and make sure you are aware of the costs - to be prepared.

I have always loved the Hill Country, and Sage Hill Inn was the perfect venue to introduce my family to it. The views are excellent, and there are good hikes through the property. The accommodations were unique and comfortable and had everything we needed. Since there were four of us, we stayed in Thelmas cottage; it was private, comfortable, and close to the Inn. The food was excellent, and the Inn keepers could not have been nicer. A special bonus for us were the three friendly felines. It was a great stay, and I only wish we could have stayed longer. I hope to come back when its warm, so we can take advantage of the pool and more outdoor activities.

We couldnt have been happier with our stay, the food, the grounds, the people, and the ambiance. We left knowing well be back as soon as we can. Thank you for a lovely and relaxing stay!

My girlfriends and I needed a few days away from the city and the hustle and bustle of life. We couldnt have found a more perfect place to go. I have never been treated as well as I was at Sage Hill Inn. From the moment I made my reservation until my departure I was met with the friendliest people. Everyone at Sage Hill Inn was so kind and accommodating. They thought of everything to make our stay perfect. We were there from Sunday to Wednesday and it was very quiet and relaxing. The grounds are beautiful and there were many trails that we could walk. The garden filled with vegetables, herbs and flowers was such a nice treat. And let me tell you the food is out of this world! We were so spoiled by the staff and having breakfast and dinner provided was wonderful! One day we went and shopped in Wimberley and the next we just hung around the property. There is a nice pool and hot tub and a beautiful view to go with it. I strongly recommend Sage Hill Inn. It would be great for a group of women, a few friends, or a couple.

I promised Amy Id write the review as soon as I got home...and well that was last year. Time goes by. Im about to book my 5th stay and wanted to comment on how wonderful this place is. It has been a tradition for my me and my wife to come here on our anniversary. It is quiet, peaceful, and effortless. There is absolutely no place like it. Since Im a person who doesnt like to always do the same thing...every year I look around to see if there might be another place for us to go. And every year we keep coming back. I really cant see going anywhere else. The walking paths are superb, the outside fire pit, the game room, and the cookies at 1AM. All spectacular. But most of all our hostess and crew are fantastic...and the cooks are always glad to see you walk in their kitchen. Love it!

I came to Sage Hill Inn for business as its location to both Austin and San Antonio. My boss and I also had to do some collaborative work - we were absolutely blown away by the hospitality, beauty, comfort and setting. It was the best place to wrap up a work day on the patio before dinner enjoying the sunset, and the rooms were large which make for a better work environment. I recomend this to any business traveler, couple looking for a romantic escape, or women for a quick girls getaway. Thank you for everything - they even accomdated my early arrival!!

My wife and I stayed at Sage Hill Inn after several days visiting Austin. Our time at the Inn was the best and most relaxing of the entire trip. The staff take care of everything for you, they are friendly and helpful to no end. The building and grounds look rustic at first glance, but the rooms are very modern and comfortable, and the layout of the grounds is perfect, from the low branching trees over the pool, to the bench swings that are placed thoughtfully down the paths towards the creek overlook. Best of all: it is perfectly quiet at night, except the crickets of course. Our service was fantastic, the food was excellent (but rich), and we would not hesitate to recommend the Inn to any and all. It is completely worth the drive from silly, crowded, overpriced Austin.

This place is wonderful! We are pretty frugal about what we spend on vacation, and the price for a nights stay here is high for us. But when we considered the included breakfasts and dinners and that the grounds are so nice, we didnt need to go spend money on shopping or amusements to fill our time, it really was a good deal. And the meals, by the way, are truly excellent. I would rather eat there than at a fancy restaurant.

Always enjoy staying and visiting with Innkeeper Amy. We stayed in Thelmas Loft this time and loved the room. It is so open and relaxing, the tree top view is great too. The pool was so refreshing and the special made Sangria delivered to us at the pool, topped it off with the perfect touch. Look forward to another stay.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Sage Hill Inn last weekend to celebrate my birthday, and it was a wonderful experience. The grounds and rooms are exquisite, with attention to the smallest details. The dinners and breakfasts (included with each nights stay) are fresh, delicious, and filling. We enjoyed hiking the beautiful grounds, receiving relaxing couples massages at the spa, and relaxing by the pool. Also, the other guests were very friendly and we enjoyed our conversations with them. I highly recommend the Sage Hill Inn to anyone looking for a weekend getaway in the wonderful central Texas Hill Country.

This used to be my favorite place! It had an old rustic charm that has vanished with new modern furniture! Im sure the food will always be excellent, the chefs are nice and very talented. However if I wanted something modern I would stay at a hotel or not even leave my home! I came here for something different now its like every other place out there! Every place is going to treat you like royalty its their job, you pay for that service! I want to be treated like family, I even miss the dog that was always around! Sage hill doesnt deserve even one star.Disappointed.

My husband and I had the best weekend at Sage Hill Inn. The property is very quaint and the views are absolutely gorgeous! We loved jogging on the hiking trails and the recreation areas. The pool and hot tub were relaxing and enjoyable. The best part of our stay was the cuisine, we were blown away with breakfast and dinner. The meals were fresh and creative. Sage Hill thought of so many tiny details that really made a difference in our stay such as, the movie selections to rent from and the popcorn, coffee and drinks that are available 24/7. The staff was first class and attentive to our needs. We enjoyed our room, it was updated and beautifully decorated. We will be planning another trip to Sage Hill, I would recommend Sage Hill to anyone who is wanting to get away to a 5 star bed and breakfast!
