I am a waffle House fan, I drive an hour to an hour and a half to get me some Waffle House! But now that there is one in Kyle, still a bit of a drive, but much closer to home! Thanks to KY this was by far the BEST experience ever! KY was fast courteous, friendly and quite entertaining. Loved watching him work; he was totally into his element waiting on us. KY promptly brought us our food, made sure it was hot and that we were happy with our order and service. Great experience, Great food, and very friendly staff! Thank you Ky and everyone else working today.

Ive been to plenty of other Waffle Houses. This one has been the best experience! Food was made exactly we order it & tasted amazing. All employees seemed very happy, singing with good work vibes, especially our waiter KYAH. He was attentive and easy to talk too. Clean atmosphere & even the cook, who I think was a manager, interacted with the customers. BEST EXPERIENCE!

This was my first time at Waffle House and i decided to put in a to go order. I put the order in around 2 am ( not the best idea but was having some late night munchies ) When I arrive they are pretty busy I ask about my order and the staff kinda freaks out bc they haven t started it. I was very understanding of the situation and patiently waited 40 mins for them to make my order. I finally get home and when I open my food we re missing pretty much my whole meal. We ordered 2 all start specials with extra ham sausage and grits. They gave us our waffles Eggs toast and grits. We were missing the bacon, hashbrowns, sausage , ham and the cheese on the eggs I ordered. I tried calling, but I didn t get an answer so I drove back to tell them about the food I was missing. At this point it had been 2 hrs Since I put my order in I was just trying to eat I was hungry and then the girl the counter trying to give me attitude about what I did and didn t get like be so fr. How are you gonna argue with me About some food you thought I got when I m missing half of my meal like girl please .I told her that I wanted the whole thing remade and she didn t want to remake it Because they said that they didn t have a manager on site. I ended up getting it remade . (period ) And getting home by 5 AM When I ordered my food around 2 am. I get home all the food is there. I m thinking it s gonna be good, but no, my eggs had shells in them and, the grits were Clump together and cold. like be so fr. maybe I ll come back in a few months after they figure it out but, as of right now I m good.

Went there for the first time. I needed to get something quick to bring to my bedridden mother in law as a treat. I thought it would be a quick turn around and I wanted to tryout the new restaurant in Kyle. Asked for 2 waffles and 2 scrambled eggs to go. With the (takeout fees #?$ ) and taxes and no drinks came out to over $ 20.00 by the way no senior discounts. Con: The waffles were nothing to write home about. Cold and tasteless. Oh I forgot Added a spoon full of blueberries extra charge , eggs cracked on flat top semi scramble. Bits of Egg shells for extra crunch. Needless to say, this was my experience. I will not be getting takeout. Pro: Staff did greet me as I entered. Staff was attentive.

We dont have waffle house in San Antonio so we traveled up to Kyle and it was well worth it! Food was hot, fresh and delicious, dining room was very clean and our server Kyah was very attentive and took wonderful care of us! Well be back soon.

While we were in town for a tour, we stumbled upon this new Waffle House, which had only been open for three months. They had just started staying open 24 hours about two months ago, and I must say, it was one of the cleanest Waffle Houses Ive ever been to. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff especially the late-night crew were super nice and kind. There was a young woman working who was incredibly attentive and sweet, though I regret I didn t catch her name. The food was on point, and you can t go wrong with a grit bowl from Waffle House! The place had such a vibrant energy, and we had a great time. Definitely worth a visit if youre in the area!

The food was excellent, the service was top notch and my visit was in the late afternoon during a slower crowd. There were five employees there. What impressed me the most, was that none of them were standing around goofing off or looking at their phone. All five of them were cleaning, wiping windows and blinds, sweeping and wiping counters and doing maintenance on the grills and other areas. This is an outstanding crew that should be commendable for their dedication and service. I told them this too.

Brand new to Kyle TX and much needed. Open 24 hours, with very good staff on duty. The food was as expected of good quality. The service was even better ! Me and my son came here for the first time yesterday around 1pm and absolutely loved everything about it! But most of all the great energy this place has! ALL the staff was friendly, funny and helpful! The manager working was great with her staff. There was a waitress who greeted us and talked to us for a bit(even though she wasnt our waitress) that had the best attitude! And she motivated her coworkers too. The food was absolutely delicious! Was here (Aug 11) around 2 pm. We got seated at the back small corner, 15 mins passed no server came. My bf went to the cashier and asked if any server was assigned to us. We then moved to different table, a server took our order immediately but failed to bring any water until after 10 mins. So 25 mins just not getting served anything. When food came there were THREE ITEMS that were UNDERCOOKED. The waffle, the hash brown and sausages. Need to be sent back before we can eat properly. We were communicating to the staffs and they were trying to help and respectful but at that point it was too much. All food came out at weird order. Though overall experience the service was mediocre, the food was not better than any other location. Staffs were trying their best but it was not enough. At the time we were there it was not that busy anymore but seems like everybody was hectic for no reason? Idk if that s to go order or what but employees seem to be busy without any significant movements. We heard tools were dropping and everybody shouting at everybody at the kitchen in front of us When we were there we saw at least 2 other customers were pissed off cause of similar situation (especially being seated down with no server coming nor water). They mentioned that many of them are still in training. I hope management fix this issues asap.

Went in I sat at the bar they were busy... Go here if you want to experience bad service, an angry grill cook being loud and disrespectful to the other staff. Most importantly, this place is a health hazard. As we were waiting for our food, we saw as a staff member was struggling to cut a tomato, ends up cutting his finger due to poor knife skills. After waving his finger in the air because it clearly hurt when this happened, we were shocked and disgusted to see as he CONTINUED TO CUT THE FOOD. He did not wash his hands, use a band aid or anything. He simply continued.

They did it again. Waffle House never ceases to amaze me. This location is spectacular and nailed the exact feel I would expect from a waffle House. Lively & upbeat staff plus fast seating, fast service and yummy food makes this place worth coming to. Server was Jazmine - cool, mellow vibe about her + I noticed shes very attentive to ALL of her customers consistently no matter how many she has. Always checking on you. Entire staff had good energy with smiles, laughing, joking, a little singing. Jermaine, Nara, Malayah the Great, Roxy, Bella, even the new guy Kenneth The Waffle Boi (name tags I noticed ) and the guy who likes to rap - didnt get his name and a few others. Waffle House is never a place to write home about necessarily but there is a certain level of comfort whenever you sit down in those little booths and have some table side service from a waitress on the cooking line end. Youre not looking for healthy, and you arent looking for anything to break the bank here, so its cheap and tasty. What more could you ask for? This has been one of the best Waffle House experiences that Ive had ever. The food and host was great. Our server was AWESOME!!! Kyle has the best personality. He was the funniest server ever. Plus it is his birthday! He gave us excellent service on his birthday. I will definitely be back.

This was my first time in Waffle House! It was a great experience and I had high hopes that were fulfilled, the managers were on top of things and the workflow seemed so smooth, loved the service and loved the waffle and chocolate chip and peanut butter toppings. Will be going as often as possible.

It was super busy at 8:30 pm all tables were taken so my family of 3 waited for about 15 minutes before we got a table, Valery was our waitress and took our drink order and then we ordered our food, we waited over 30 minutes and still no drinks, we actually got served our food one by one, our dinners were all wrong and the missing items that were eventually brought to our table, we had to ask for missing items that were ordered and we had to ask for basically everything from butter, sugar and silverware My scrambled eggs had eggshells in them Their were 12 employees just standing around watching the guy at the grill cook, the one male employee was yelling at his co-workers about getting wrote up and the music was way to loud ! This was our first and last time at this Waffle House

Alright so check me out. I usually don t leave reviews because I feel that everyone has bad days. However, as someone who has been in management and now upper management for over the past decade I could not stand to witness what was occurring at this restaurant. The servers were all helpful, although clearly new and slower than a veteran Waffle House, they all did their best to get everyone what they wanted in a timely manner. This review is directly for the grill master. I was waiting for my to go order for approximately 23 minutes. I had no problem waiting as I fully expected this place to be fully packed and slow with people still learning. What I did not expect was the blatant disrespect and toxic environment the grill master created. I repeatedly heard him yelling that food was up in a disrespectful manner when the servers were tending to customers. He threw away an order while the waitress was taking an order instead of helping get the orders to the proper place. Regardless of his position, that is not how you lead. After throwing away the dish he proceeded to yell across the restaurant, and I quote The first person to come ask me for a bacon egg and cheese hashbrown bowl is getting written up. I could see some of the younger employees were flustered and he only made it worse. He was bumping into employees and being ignorant for the total wait I sat through. To top that, I initially walked out with my order which turned out to be wrong. It was missing the protein and the cheese on my scrambled eggs. I did not mind, went back inside and the waitresses had it fixed within a few minutes. What did upset me is what I found in my food when I got home. The pictures are attached. Had the grill master paid a little more attention to the grill instead of yelling constantly, I probably wouldn t have almost swallowed a bread tie. I want to talk to someone from upper management because this is completely unacceptable. Not only did he make it uncomfortable for the employees you could hear how quiet the restaurant was getting because of it.

All right so check this out this is waffle House and when I went I had a good time. If youve been to a waffle House you know what youre getting into hopefully not into a fight but you never know. My server was named Valerie and she was super sweet and very helpful and very patient because I was waiting on my friend to show up for us to eat. I ordered waffles and sausage egg and cheese hash browns. The food was hot and fresh water was clean I also ordered water on the side everyone was super friendly and it was kind of slow It was nice I went around 11:00 pm they were also super kind and let me take a couple pictures of the restaurant. I do wish the prices were a little bit more reasonable but its definitely worth it. I will be going back again.

Waffle House in Kyle, Texas, tried it today for the first and probably last time. The waffles were good and came with sausage which was hard as a rock, probably cooked up and in holding for a couple of hours? The service was good but the restaurant is extremely small. This was our first time to give it a try, doubt that will be back.

I give it a 1 star because it is the smallest Waffle House Ive ever seen. There is like 6 tables for more than one town full of people. The parking lot/spaces are small too! We dont drive Ford Pintos here in Texas. Everyone drives big trucks. How do they expect people to park their big vehicles without taking up 2 spaces?! Very disappointed.

You have to realize they are people too, of course theres gonna be a little mistake here and there. Pleasantly surprised how fast we were seated and served during the peek lunchtime hour. Everything tasted as good as it did back in GEORGIA (where we have a WH every 3-10 miles ). The only difference I saw was there were way too many people behind the counter, but they were all very busy. Maybe training? We never saw more than 2 cooks and 4 waitresses in GA

Its a new restaurant in a new spot very far away from anything of its like but the crew and staff are working out the kinks and theres a nice, friendly atmosphere. Went here when it opened and returned 2 weeks later only to be impressed as it seems the crew is getting used to the flow and theyre much more efficient. Its certainly not your round the corner Waffle House youd pass every 5 minutes driving in Alabama or Georgia, but its still the same food and that same familiar flow. Cant wait for when they go 24/7 service, those of us that work later shifts would greatly appreciate a good grub spot in Kyle to wind down.

The food is made to the standard of all other waffle houses which is awesome! If you enjoy waffle House food youll enjoy this location. The one downside was the staff. My server forgot to call out a part of my order. After bringing this up she tried to rectify it but unfortunately they were all out. Waffle House is fairly noisy inherently but they all screamed POWER HOUR at 8pm which was a bit weird and caught the rest of the diners and I off guard. The staff was also on the younger side and the cattiness coupled with how much they were joking with each other led to some obvious miscommunications and fumbling of orders and timings. Overall its a standard Waffle House and Im extremely grateful and happy to finally have one thats closer but I think Ill wait a while before coming back until they find their footing and gain some experience.

I was excited that this place opened close to me. Traveling around in the military for years this was the closest to home food I could get instead of fast food. The management there on June 17 were very rude. I can tell she is very under trained and frustrated. People were walking out after waiting so long for food. We waited over an hour for a to-go order. Our omelettes were so over cooked and deep fried. The first I ever saw transparent eggs. This is the worst waffle house Ive ever been too. BUT....it is newly opened. Workers are nice except the manager was very unprofessional. Seemed she dont wanna be there. We took our food back because it was inedible. She seemed like she was gonna blow a gasket. Just give them their money back! AND TAKE THE FOOD! Made us feel like she thought we were trying to get free food. That is kinda like stealing. We are not thieves. We work hard for our money.

I guess I tried this new restaurant too soon. I experienced a Very Bad first impression. I walked in Sunday morning to find two employees bickering about the guest wait list. They completely ignored me. After a few minutes, I asked if I could take a seat at the counter, there were four available seats. One of the employees said, no. The two employees returned to bickering and ignored me again. Needless to say, I walked out. I am not sure if/when I will ever go back. Since this restaurant has newly opened, my question is, Where is the manager? Whoever is responsible for the staff at any given time of the day SHOULD be making sure everything is running smoothly, especially at the opening stages of the restaurant. Waffle House, how do you respond?

Our server was inattentive- there was a worker Caroline eating st the bar, I m assuming she was off but she said she was on the clock but she literally was so loud and kept calling people behind the line, asking for stuff and all the workers seemed to care more about her and her needs then their customers.
