I recently attended an event at Walters Wedding Estates , and it was a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was welcoming and elegant, creating the perfect setting for the occasion. My sister got married at the Milestone, and overall it was a really great experience! Most of my family isn t super familiar with weddings, but Melissa was great in making sure we covered everything. I do feel like when Wedding Day came, everything was pretty as expected/discussed in terms of everything we went over leading up to Wedding Day. Day of we came in to decorate, and we got a head of ourselves in what we were doing, and Melissa helped us put together a beautiful piece for the ceremony space. Anything we forgot or needed, Melissa had or was able to find a solution for. The only thing was we got really behind schedule, and part of that was because we started late waiting for important people to arrive (so we very much appreciate Melissa letting us start late), but I think we got even more behind due to some of the outside vendors being slow, and I do wish they were made more aware of the timeline as we went. All of us had a great time though, and we really loved working with Melissa, especially as a group who was kind of new to weddings! Melissa was incredibly thorough, flexible, and kind!

Melissa is the best wedding planner. Her attention to detail is incredible. She goes above and beyond for her bride and groom and is the best at keeping everything running smoothly while also making sure that the wedding day is special and handles anything that comes up unexpectedly with the greatest of ease! I can t imagine our special day without her! She made it extra special and worked so hard to make sure everything was perfect! She s thoughtful and puts so much work into the planning stages so that when the wedding day arrives, everything goes as planned! I would give her 10 stars if I could. Even our guests complemented on how great she was and that every interaction with her was friendly! A special day made even better with her special touch!

As a videographer communication is critical on a wedding day and Melissa did an amazing job today not only keeping everything in line and on time but also with communicating with the vendors and the couple. There was a moment when the bride got a stain on her dress and Melissa was right there on the spot with a tide stick to remove the stain. Every time I work with Melissa, it s just a joy and a wonderful wedding day, you can tell that she loves her job and that she s passionate about making a day amazing for the couple, great job Melissa!

Best decision ever when it came to planning our wedding. The Milestone is so gorgeous. I mean just look at all the photo ops. I didnt even get one on the stairwell or outside by the gazebo and pond. We received so many compliments on the food and the organization of the wedding. Omg the watermelon margaritas were a hit! Melissa was our coordinator, and she caters to the wedding couple, guests, and even to the outside vendors that I hired. Melissa is a professional and an expert at weddings. We got married early this April and we were blown away by our wedding coordinator, Melissa. To emphasize my review, I need to give two points of reference: This is my second wedding and my first was at Walt Disney World and their coordinators are top tier. To this day, I still remember the name of my coordinator there because she was so amazing. Melissa absolutely blew that wedding coordinator out of the water. For work, I plan events for groups ranging from 50-100 people and the logistics are very similar to that of a wedding. I have worked with hotel & venue coordinators all across DFW and again, Melissa blew every single one of them out of the water. She anticipates your EVERY need - you will want for nothing on your wedding day and her ability to anticipate any possible scenario before and during your wedding will let you and your fiancée completely enjoy the wedding - you truly don t have to worry about anything. She is like an extension of your brain, she practically knows what you are going to ask before you even say it. I told her that because I plan events for work, I wanted to be a guest at my own wedding and not be worried about day of logistics or feel like I had to coordinate people or time or anything the day of the wedding. Melissa took the reins, I did not have to lift a finger that day and she was always 10 steps ahead. A few specifics that make her stand out and will make a huge impact on the wedding day - She knows weddings inside and out. When it came to planning, she was always patient while I made changes or asked for different variations of certain items. She was budget conscious on the items of the wedding I didn t want to spend a lot on. Come wedding day, you can tell she has done many weddings and has the experience to back her up. I had an issue with my bustle so Melissa got down and worked on my bustle for a good 20 minutes getting it fixed and making sure it was perfect. She saved me again by having a steamer on hand at the venue and steamed my dress for me because I had forgotten that very important detail! Somehow she managed to do all of this for me while still organizing and managing my fiancé and his groomsmen. She is so unbelievably efficient and knows where to put her time and how to manage people effectively. She was friendly and pleasant with all of the people in our wedding party but was direct and firm when necessary in order to get everything(and everyone) where they need to be in order for things to go smoothly. I could truly never say enough good things about her and she is the difference that should make a bride choose to get married at The Milestone Denton. There really are so many gorgeous venues in the area and The Milestone really is a gem offering an elegant and grand Mansion backdrop while still remaining intimate for smaller wedding parties. The all inclusive factor of their packages is what really sold me in the beginning. They offer three different packages - we chose the middle tier option because we already had an officiant and we were arranging our own exit car.. but other than that, the venue offered all of our services besides my hair & makeup. This made the planning process VERY easy. We were very pleased with all of the vendors they are partnered with to fulfill these services. I am beyond impressed (and our guests were too.) Melissa, you are the absolute best and are so so skilled in what you do. Thank you so much for everything!!

I can confidently say I had the absolute best wedding at The Milestone Denton all thanks to Melissa! Melissa is the most organized, caring, passionate wedding planner I have met and is the main reason my wedding day went absolutely perfect! She communicated effectively with all WWE vendors, helped with all details prior to and on the day of, and was such a hands on planner! I got an abundant number of compliments on the day of the wedding and many days after about how amazing Melissa was - she helped all the wedding party, family, and friends and went above and beyond the bare minimum! She really does it all!! The venue is absolutely beautiful, the food was so delicious (many guest complimented the food), and the DJ was sooo smooth on the mic (guest loved him too, his name was Cody)! Nick got to know us pretty well in a short amount of time and when we felt we were out of options, he hit the ground running to hear our concerns and offer new options. Melissa, her staff, and vendors at the Milestone Mansion were beyond amazing to me, my groom, and guests. Each team member was responsive, organized, flexible, and truly cared about making our day special. They accommodated all of my requests beforehand like bringing in outside ice cream catering and having the luxury car and photographer arrive early. My wedding day was stress free because of Melissa s organizational skills. She was wonderful for keeping us on schedule, while still allowing us to deviate and make it what we wanted. Melissa, the florist, and the baker took my vision and executed it perfectly. The Milestone Mansion itself was also everything I ever dreamed of and more. Wow! Just wow! This whole day was perfect! The bridal suite fit all 7 of my bridesmaids, 3 jr. Bridesmaids, 2 mothers, and 2 close family friends while we got ready. The grooms suite was awesome! They played pool and hung out before the wedding. My husband thought it was the perfect space as well. Then they have a parents suite that was an awesome extra space for dads, grandmothers, and extra family. The reception hall is the perfect fit for 100-150 guests! It has such elegance and doesnt need much decorating. The outside venue is beautiful but due to wind chill, we opted to move our ceremony to their indoor ceremony area. It has huge windows and was just as gorgeous. Im so glad we chose The Milestone Denton! Im also glad we chose Walters Wedding Estates. Their packages make everything so easy if youre a busy bride. They have coordinators assigned to each bride too. If you choose one of their estates, REQUEST MELISSA!! I could not have been blessed with a better coordinator. She worked so hard on every tiny detail to make our day special. My entire wedding party and family were asking where I found such an amazing coordinator. She made everything run smoothly, knew how to feel the vibe and switch up the plan if needed (although always talked to me first), and she is just truly great at her job. I had a bridesmaid nearly tearing up at the end of the wedding thanking her for all her hard work and telling her that wedding planning and making anothers day so special must be her calling. I could go on and on... honestly, the Milestone was gorgeous, but Melissa was the one thing that truly made it all come together. I could not have done it without her! Thank you Walter Wedding estates for the wonderful packages, awesome financing options, and for assigning me a truly wonderful coordinator. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect!

From start to finish The Milestone Denton was nothing short of amazing! From the vendors to the beautiful venue. My wedding day was perfect in my eyes. The milestone Denton was a very beautiful space and very easy to work with. The problem with this establishment is the fact that I paid a $950 security deposit for any damages. my wedding was the first week of September and I m writing this review in mid January and I have yet to receive my deposit back or any response to why they were keeping my deposit. So at this point they stole the deposit! I have called left several messages and no one has reached out to give me an answer! Before going with them ask them the questions regarding when and how would you receive your deposit back from them as it was a security deposit for damages. Once again I never received a letter that explained if there were any damages and they have not returned any of my calls. At this point I m out of $950 that they informed me I would get back.

Every vendor was fantastic, super easy to work with, responsive, and had excellent service/quality, and the Walters wedding team was truly PHENOMENAL! I can t begin to explain how amazing this day was. I contribute a lot of the perfection of the day to the amazing team that was by our sides through it all. Before planning our wedding we heard how stressful and overwhelming wedding planning would be, however we experienced nothing of the sort. The Walter Wedding Estate team at The Milestone made wedding planning the least stressful experience through their responsiveness and amazing packages(there truly is something special about booking everything at once). Because of this we were able to focus on the most important thing through the wedding planning process- our love for one another. Now let s talk about the wedding day. WOW! A special shout out to Susanna and Delaney for making the day go SO SMOOTHLY even with the curve balls that it had thrown. It is amazing when your coordinators are able to have fun with you and allow you to fully experience the day while also keeping to a timeline. Susanna helped in so many ways- from singing along with us in the bridal suite to shake off the nerves, to handing us water throughout the photo session as she saw we were clearly dehydrated. I can t sing her praises enough! Towards the end of the night Delaney took over and I couldnt be more grateful. A guest stepped on my dress and tore my bustle down, I knew as soon as that happened I had someone I could count on. I ran out into the foyer and Delaney was by my side in .002 seconds- pined me up with clothes pins and I was able to get back on the dance floor in moments. To sum up, this was the best day of our lives and we owe it all to The Milestone team. What an amazing experience! Thank you Milestone team!

Everyone that weve worked with at The Milestone have been amazing! We are so grateful to have Hallie as our planning representative. She is helping us move smoothly through every step of the process! So much stress of wedding planning comes from coordinating vendors and familiarizing them with the venue- thats not the case working with Walters Weddings Estates. Their vendors are part of a package deal and work with our planning representative as the point person. We are so delighted with the communication and organization so far! We get married on October 15, 2023, so Ill leave a follow up after our big day! :) Edit: Wow, Im blown away by the team at The Milestone. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect!! Any snafus that happened were quickly sorted by Susie and Delaney, apparently some that they never even told me about. This venue is truly magical. My husband and I had our wedding at The Milestone November 12th, 2022. The moment we booked with them, the thing that has stood out the most to us was their amazing communication. All the managers and planning team have been amazing to responding to emails, texts, and answering all of our questions. They even let us store wedding items there the day before the wedding which made set up way easier. We absolutely loved that they had their in house vendors to choose from. Being a business owner, finding the time do find vendors was very stressful so having it all in one place was extremely helpful. I truly believe this really helped me with the planning process. All the vendors were also amazing during our planning process. Cohost Entertainment matched us with Daniel and he was truly phenomenal. The flowers from Joche W Events were beyond gorgeous. The cake and dessert bar from Jenny Layne was amazing. The invitations from Lyons Paperie was absolutely perfect. All of the vendors through Walters Wedding took our wants and made it spectacular. For the day of the wedding, we did have some hiccups but Crystal was great about checking in on us and trying to keep things orderly. Amanda helped so much during the overall planning as well. We truly loved the women who helped make this day so special. Overall, I m glad we chose to have our wedding at The Milestone and book with Walters Wedding. This venue was magnificent. We were married on Halloween this year and that fell on a Monday which was perfect. They didnt charge extra for it being a holiday, and we even got a free Photo booth for contracting in during one of their specials. The grounds were stunning and even for the cheapest package (Which was the one we got) There was soooo much extra. Food, Floral, DJ, they even had a stationary option that we used for our front sign and our thank you cards. All very beautiful, professional, and easy to communicate with!

My wedding was on 09/24/2022 and choosing The Milestone Denton was one of the best decisions! We loved the Southern charm and traditional style of the place and the all inclusive packages. I was planning the wedding from another city and this made the process much easier and not stressful. Was my wedding day 100% perfect I d be lying if I said yes. The days leading up to my wedding we had freezing temps, my now husband ended up spinning his vehicle out on the highway. I called the venue a number of times where Allie assured me everything will turn out great! Day of wedding my wallet is gone!! (Still have no idea where it is!) So with all that being said I was already stressed/over it before we made it to the venue! Sadly the venue wasn t ready ( due to again the freezing weather!!) no fault at all by the venue (I mean I could have lost my husband on those roads!) so all good! Allie and Aubrey worked their butts off running around making sure everything was good to go!! one huge thing on my list was not forgotten our flowers yep I forgot mine! But all good they got them for me. We actually were ahead of schedule and really enjoying our big day! The food omg it was delicious!! We really loved the fact our food was giving to us loved them helping out with the Grand exit! The staff amazing!! ( it s no fault of no one for us being a hot mess couple that is very prone to mishaps) But with every small hiccup we had they were right there to fix it we are so very grateful for everything!! Even the day after the wedding we called about a missing item and there Allie was to help us out!! Thank you to both Allie and Aubrey for everything the night was beautiful!!

This was our second wedding in our family at the Milestone in Denton and if that doesn t tell you how much we like the place I am not sure what will. The staff was very accommodating in any needs we had during the planning process as well as making sure our rehearsal and day of ran smoothly. Allie or Peyton were always around the day of the wedding to help us find anything we needed for set up or break down. We did have a couple of concerns about the maintenance of the grounds; however those were address and corrected by the wedding day. The venue was clean and ready to go on wedding day! Overall we have had two great experiences with the Milestone Denton and would highly recommend it!

I waited for a week after I sent a letter about this to the management/owners, giving them every chance to respond. To date, no one got back to me. Our daughters wedding was postponed from last year and it fell on a Monday. The venue was NOT cleaned after the previous wedding. There was facial hair in sinks in two of the suites. The toilets looked like they had not seen a brush in weeks. Linens and dining room cushions were stained, including red wine stains. There was one inexperienced, and stressed out person present who acted frustrated with us and was entirely ineffective in her job. All the food served was stone cold. Instead of serving cake, the staff was eating their lunch, creating an awkward, long pause. The one star left is for the photogenic beauty of the location itself. If I were to judge by the service alone, relative to the cost, the star count would be zero. The non-existent response to the complaint is not surprising. A poorly managed business, overall.

Had my daughters sweet sixteen there. Wow staff was extremely rude. Where do I start, they were setting up 1hr before event , my vendors had less than 1 hour to set up and when they went to set up they didn t have what I was told multiple times they had a 220 electrical line nope they had none Had to ask for things no one ever ask what I needed. Food was great however they were serving appetizers with no plates not even a napkin. Food came out we had To ask for food that we had already paid for. Not all plates came out. The minute you got up plates where removed. We went to take family pictures and chairs were stacked up and table were being cleaned I paid until 11 so I should be allowed to stay and not be kicked out. I could go on for ever but bottom line I left there embarrassed disgusted and totally disappointed in what should have been a great day. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Would not recommend this venue. My good friends were married here and it was disappointing. The bride had to walk in heels through the grass to get to the pergola, and it was a long walk. The food was terrible, all overcooked. The venue was very hot inside. Food was on the floor, no one picked it up. We let the staff know it was there, they never picked it up. My friends spent a small fortune for this venue and it was very disappointing.

I am a wedding coordinator so naturally I had high expectations for our Wedding. It turned out beautifully and went so well! Planning our wedding was SO EASY!!! We paid for the package that included table centerpieces, chargers, high top tables, buffet dinner, beer and wine, passed hors d ouevres, and a day of coordinator. That left us with small decor items and a few other vendors left to secure. We were able to put together our dream wedding within a 7 month long engagement. We are so thankful for Chelsea who was so patient, flexible, professional, and caring towards us in our big moment and the days leading up to it! From the first moment I saw the venue I knew I wanted our wedding to take place at The Milestone Denton. I dont know how to start. It was just amazing. Allie and the staff were amazing. We had our wedding here and ever since we stepped foot on the property we loved it. Wedding day we didnt have to worry about a thing. We had one bridesmaid show a little late. Things got really behind but Allie was super professional about it talked to me about things we could do to get back on track. Super amazing coordinator. Im so glad we ended up getting one because it was needed. Along with CoHost entertainment Garrett Peters was the best DJ to have that night. I dont even know where to begin. Choosing the Milestone for our wedding venue has been the best decision of our lives. Its been a week since we got married and celebrated at the Milestone Denton and I still have people raving about the venue, the food, and the service. Raegan, my event coordinator always went above and beyond to make sure everything turned out smoothly on my wedding. She is absolutely amazing and honestly there is not enough great words I can say about this place and the people. The food was OMG delicious. Something out of. Trulucks dinners or Perrys steakhouse. If you just got engaged, do yourself a favor and dont book anywhere else your venue. This place will give you something for all your guest to talk about for a lifetime.

Choosing your wedding venue is a big decision. For my husband and I we wanted to choose place that captured our love but also provided a comforting experience. Milestone was the first place we chose to tour and the staff was so welcoming and they made us feel like our wedding was there only concern in that moment. Being the first place we chose we were a little skeptical and wanted to tour other places to get a wide variety. Boy we re we disappointed with what the other places had to offer. First and foremost we toured 5 other venues and NOT one venue greeted us and treated us like Milestone. So we quickly said we re going back to Milestone. Once booking you assume okay the lavish treatment will stop they got my money. NOPE! They were amazing from start to finish. Any questions we had answered with an email response so quickly. Any changes done with ease. On our wedding day we had to worry about nothing the coordinator was amazing and the event spectacular. Most brides and groom worry about will I have time to eat food was brought to our table. Appetizers that most bridal parties miss due to pictures. NOPE saved us some so we were able to enjoy those as well. The food was absolutely amazing, so courteous to food allergens. All of our guests say it was the most beautiful venue and wedding ever. I would easily recommended this place to everyone!! They have plenty of different options that are cost friendly

We cant begin to express how wonderful this venue is! From the moment we turned the corner and set foot on the property in 2019 we knew it was the venue for us. It was the perfect setting for our wedding! The staff are friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make sure we were able to have our wedding during these crazy times. Raegan and Emily were beyond fantastic to work with! Throughout the actual day of our event, they were there when we needed them for random can we borrow some tape ... The bride needs a coke ... type things, but also helped reassure us everything would be perfect on the big ticket items. After a 2 year wait for our day (thanks to covid) ... when it finally happened, it was perfect. We received more compliments on the food and atmosphere. You cant go wrong with this venue!

Raegan helped me and my husband have the wedding of our dreams! Wedding planning is stressful, as most of us know, and Raegan helped answer all my questions and keep me calm when the pandemic was looming. I emailed her in a panic (I am a planner and I need to have a plan for every possibility) and she called right away to talk and let me know that even though there are many unknowns, she has my back. Our original date was in April and she had to call and break the news that we had to postpone. Raegan quickly helped us find a new date and then helped us postpone AGAIN because my husband and I got COVD on that second date. She knew about our family dramas, eloping on our original date, and kept notes of little details we had told her. My bridal party has been apart of quite a few weddings and they said the Rehearsal with Raegan was the most efficient Rehearsal they had ever witnessed (those ladies and our families were impressed before the big day even happened!). When our day finally came, Raegan made everything beyond special! We felt like we were at a Disney Resort with surprises around every corner. She herded the cats we call family with ease, made sure we ate and had a moment alone, and created surprises that are still making me tear up writing this. The Milestone was beautiful and exactly where we wanted it, but Raegan made the whole process and the day of beyond special!

Aaron and I would highly recommend this venue! Our wedding was perfect and a lot of that I contribute to our wedding coordinator, Raegan. Planning can be overwhelming, especially being a covid bride, but Raegan remained positive and super responsive throughout our whole planning process. The Milestone Denton is an amazing venue. We had our dream wedding there and would not change a thing. We toured many venues and this venue was by far the best value and the most beautiful. Reagan was awesome throughout the entire process and walked us through everything step by step and was right there on our wedding day making sure everything was perfect.

Having hosted several weddings at this gorgeous location which were well-planned and stress-free, as well as some where factors beyond mine/the venues control created significant unforeseen challenges, I can speak to the excellence of The Milestones staff firsthand. Emily and Reagan in particular are wonderful at their jobs. Their friendly demeanor, professionalism, and attentiveness makes things so much easier on those of us working to help make these special events go off without a hitch, even when wild curve-balls are sometimes launched at us at the very last minute. Anyone collaborating with this team in any capacity would likely have just as many positive things to say, as the whole staff is great. I truly appreciate the effort they all make and highly recommended The Milestone in Krum/Denton to anyone. Thank you, folks!

The Walters Wedding Estates company has breathtakingly beautiful venues, but that is all youre getting out of booking with them. Do a quick google search and youll find all the couples who are dealing with a nightmare during COVID because of this company. They gave no options for postponing except for during the initial shutdown. So for brides like me, with a date during the peak of the fall, we were given no choices. Either forfeit all money or deal with it, and absolutely no compassion was given during these conversations by the staff. Our venue coordinator that we signed with left the company, and I never was contacted nor was my portal updated so my emails went into the void and were never returned. I had to email the main venue account to be given new contact information. Then that coordinator was going on maternity leave during my wedding, but I was not informed of this until a month before and never met the new coordinator until the day of my wedding. As such, many details were missed the day of that were discussed prior. I had printed my own bar sign for available drinks, but was told that someone at the venue would create a bar sign for me so didnt bring it. A sign was not there so no one knew we had paid extra for a signature drink. The grooms suite had to ask for water even though they were supposed to have water and beer all day as per our bar package. The bridal suite had to ask for paper towels for the bathroom as it wasnt properly stocked at all. The final nail in the coffin was the end of our wedding night. Since many people are not comfortable in crowds during the pandemic (understandable which is why we tried to postpone), we did a fake send-off to get pictures and then whoever wanted to stay and dance would come back in. We had the venue paid up until 11:00 and this was at about 9:00. The DJ announced that it was a fake send off. It was said multiple times, as we were assuring people that their things and drinks wouldnt be touched. After the send-off as we were saying goodbye to the guests who were leaving, the venue coordinator stopped the DJ, turned on the lights, and started clearing up. My bridesmaids tried to tell her that it wasnt the real send off and that we were coming back in. She said We dont do that, were shutting it down. It took my new husband going up the chain of command to find someone who offered to open back up the bar, but at that point it had been 20 minutes, the DJ had packed up, and guests were understandably all leaving. It was a devastating way to have the wedding night end, and we paid an enormous amount for time that was not used - both rental time and bar time. The venue is beautiful, the food is good, and thats the best I can say about it. There are plenty of other venues that are gorgeous, will work with you during emergencies like pandemics, and wont shut down your wedding early. Stay away from this one.

Upset with Emily the coordinator telling my brother in law that he couldnt use his phone, camara & video equipment at my nephews wedding. She managed poorly with the food preparation having to wait an 2 hours for food & the DJ Andrew, Everlasting Sounds that also told him to put the phone away, worst event preparation, so dissatisfied.

I had my wedding here in August, and I was extremely nervous to host it because of everything going on. The wedding went very well, and the staff here goes above and beyond. Emily the wedding coordinator is just a joy to work with, and the perfect personality to work with a bride. Raegan was very flexible in making sure my wedding went just how I wanted it to go. The staff here is very professional. There were a couple minor hiccups that occurred, one being is they served sliced elote in a cup, but did not provide a spoon to eat it, therefore it was a little awkward to eat, guests were eating elote like a shot. The other being I ordered 3 cocktail tables to get set up, and they never got set up outside. Other than these items, the event went extremely well. The ONLY reason why they are not getting 5 stars is because this venue is not being flexible or accommodating during COVID. If your guest count drops from what you contracted, you are still responsible for paying for everything you agreed to in the contract. Our guest count went down, adn we ordered apps and updated the bar to meet our minimum. They are not allowing weddings to move dates due to COVID. With the uncertain times, I would beware when signing contracts at any Walters Wedding venues. I would have postponed if I could, as some key family members were not able to make it, but things went well regardless.

TLDR: Take pictures before and after the day of your wedding!! They will try to blame everything on you and take your money. Before I get into why I gave it a bad rating, I wanted to share some minor things from my experience: 1. Wedding coordinator was amazing. She put 110% effort the day of our wedding and was really kind and helpful. I would recommend her. 2. There was just 1 bartender, so lines were long most of the time. Security was good. 3. They told us 200 guests was the maximum capacity and could fit everyone. We were concerned it wouldn t but they kept budging it would. Nope. We had 15-20 guests standing at the back of the ceremony. The ceremony can fit 180 max and the reception can fit 200 squished. 4. Audio equipment. Make sure you know what they have and what you need beforehand. Can the ceremony s built-in speakers do wireless mics? How many? I brought my own audio. On our honeymoon, we received a email saying they would keep our damage deposit ($500) due to footsteps and tire marks on the lawn. I m not going to go through the minor details cause that ll be a lot but here are the conclusions: 1. The venue took the pictures the Monday after our wedding on Saturday. A lot could have happened between then. 2. They knew we were on our honeymoon and they sent us this email the week of, which made us more stressful and focused on figuring this out the first couple days. 3. The manager we were emailing back and forth was very passive aggressive and was not open-minded on our evidence and suggestion that it wasn t our fault. (Examples is that it snowed the night before our wedding, and the tire marks were covered, and shown after it melted). There was one email where she accused our photographer and party and then ended the email with We hope that you have a wonderful and blissful honeymoon. 4. The grass they use is super sensitive. The manager blamed our party and photographers for ruining the grass in the front and back lawn with our footsteps. I assume because of the snow, it made it easier to damage. What if we choose the outside instead of indoor ceremony? We would have damaged the entire lawn with 200 guests for just walking around. That wouldn t be fair. If you do the outdoor ceremony, make sure to put this in the contract...just walking on the ceremony area should not result in damaging fees.... 5. I asked for why it would cost $500 to fix footstep/tire mark damage, and no reply. I wanted to know how they were allocating the costs. ANSWER TO OUR MYSTERY: A week after our honeymoon, we went back to drop off a easel since on of our cleaning crew thought it was part of the rentals we needed to return. We saw the tire marks (not even repaired yet after 2-3 weeks) and were caught by surprised on how small the width of the tire marks was. It wasn t big enough to be a normal car but it wasn t small enough to be a golf cart. We decided to not even think about it because the venue wouldn t even budge on our opinions and there was no more point stressing on something we couldn t change. A couple weeks later, some friends told us how they saw the food caterers vehicle that fit the description of the tire marks. They said it caught their attention because it was a size between a golf cart and a car. And that s exactly what we said!! We also had people tell us the caterers were walking across the lawn. And this made us remember how when we were taking post-wedding pictures with our photographers, we saw a man (who we didn t know) walk across the front lawn. To this evidence, I emailed the venue to please ask their food caterers about this. In result, they never replied back. I m pretty confident if they checked the vehicles tire width with the lawn tire marks, it would match...but we will never know. $500 isn t worth the amount of stress on your honeymoon Josh is what my sister told me when I was trying to figure it out. She was right. $500 in the bigger picture wasn t that much, but how the venue manager managed this was very unprofessional and pointed fingers quickly.

The venue was gorgeous and the staff (especially wedding coordinator) was great for the most part leading up to our wedding. We received an email during our honeymoon from a venue fbo manager that we were not getting our damage deposit back, and it took us a few emails to find out the amount of damage deposit kept as the contract did not explicitly state the amount. The actual event per contract was stated as the time frame on the day of the wedding, but per the venue contact, we were responsible for the entire weekend as no one else was there. It was raining the day before our wedding, then it started snowing in the morning, so the footprints and tire marks could have been left in the grass and covered up by the snow in the morning. We did not observe any footprints or tire marks when we arrived at the venue. There were no security footage or other evidence that it was us or the guests who had left tire marks or footprints on the lawn. We provided evidence from our guests and photographers that the damage could have occurred before our wedding (actual event under contract rather than the whole weekend, but the venue personnel did not take the time to investigate and could not tell us the actual cost to repair the lawn. The tone was accusatory and ruined the first few days of our honeymoon. Tl;dr: if it snows on your wedding day, watch out, as you may be liable for damages you re not aware of

We couldnt have been happier with the Milestone Mansion Denton! Our coordinator, Alexis, was so calm and put together throughout the process, and most importantly the day of. Needless to say, the venue was stunning. In our indoor ceremony, we only added some flowers and it was absolutely beautiful! The first option for catering is a little limited, but thats to be expected for a basic package. All the food was very good though! Again, I highly recommend the Milestone Mansion Denton!

The venue is even more breath taking in real life than pictures. My wife and I couldnt have asked for a more perfect venue for our 50 guests. Our photographer had a blast with so many beautiful photo options (gazebos, docks, beautiful stairs and more!) All the staff helped run our event smoothly and efficiently. Our coordinator Amanda was amazing. When we didnt have sparklers for our grand exit, she somehow magically appeared at the end of the wedding with enough wedding sparklers for everyone. When the milestone didnt have the right cake stand for us, Amanda was able to help us get exactly what we needed! Amanda had a great attitude that my wife and I truly appreciated the day off. Even though there was a timeline, Amanda didnt rush us (huge plus!) The food was fabulous! We got the classic package. My wife and I are vegetarian so we werent sure if the vegetarian option would be as good as the meat option. However, the vegetarian option was delicious! My wife really loved how they provided the chairs, linens, cups, plates, silverware, and the most beautiful centerpieces!

Not a great experience. Would not recommend. Once we signed a contract working with them became very difficult. We felt very nickle and dimed and it seemed part of the contract was a little intentionally misleading. The food was fine but not great. The cheese platter is sliced cheese from the grocery. There was also an unfortunate incident that could have been handled better by the staff. Lastly, the building was very hot and we asked them to turn it down multiple times with no results leading to the bride overheating.

I am the mother of the bride and her wedding was in April 2019. Upon arrival on the wedding day, there was no toilet paper in some stalls and very little toilet paper in other stalls. The staff was quick to rectify, however, I did not feel they were ready for us as planned for our noon arrival on our big day and the last thing I needed to do was to alert someone that we needed toilet paper! We also had plumbing issues in the bridal suite. Once again, the staff was quick to rectify but then the plumbing issues came back and was even leaking onto the floor after the girls had their long dresses on. I know this probably could not be helped but an inconvenience for us. There was also standing water puddles in the walkway to the main entrance and driveway which I am not sure if it was from sprinklers or rain. This was a little inconvenient if you were in a long dress going back and forth and not wanting to get your dress wet, you needed to pay attention to the water puddles. The a/c worked exceptionally well and everything was clean. There are plenty of great photo opportunities and grounds were very well manicured.

Scheduling meetings has been our biggest hurdle with The Milestone. Because our event is close to Valentines Day it would be beneficial if we were able to schedule our rehearsal more than 45 days before the event so we can plan our Rehearsal dinner. We have no idea if the dinner is going to be on Valentines day or if we have to schedule it a week before, 2 weeks before, etc. 45 days is not enough time to plan a rehearsal dinner, especially if we have it on Valentines day, which is preferable since it is the day before our event. After a couple of months of trying to figure out how to get over this hurdle, I was told today we would not be able to schedule this 45 day meeting until we receive a call from our appointed coordinator no less than 60 days before the event. This puts us in a horrible bind and I do not understand why there is a 60 day policy in effect. I can sort of understand the 45 day policy, you do not want this 1 hour of rehearsal time to hinder any profit that may come you way. Why 60 days just to schedule this meeting? Why do I have to wait on a phone call? I have a feeling we are not going to have this meeting 45 days before the event. This is just another way to prolong the coordinator meeting thus prolonging us from knowing when we can have a rehearsal dinner. This is so frustrating. Update: Even though I still think they need to revise their scheduling policy, they did a great job the day of my vow renewal. They actually went above and beyond what was requested, and I am thankful.
