Sooooo so so good. The seasoning on everything we got was perfect, nothing was too much or not enough. The catfish was juicy, greens cooked perfectly and the fried ribs were awesome. All the sides were so good too. This place might be in rotation for me now. Highly recommend.

I ordered delivery and THEY called me to let me know they were out of fried ribs. I told them to cancel the order because that s all I wanted. They told me I had to cancel it I said okay. Uber eats wouldn t refund me because they told customer service that I was the one who called and told them to cancel the order without any explanation and they already started the order yall some disgusting scammers. Last time I ordered yall were doing free delivery and told me three different prices. Ended up paying $8 over the total amount I was told. That s why the restaurant always empty because yall are thieves.

Tucked in a quiet part of the mid downtown area. The lemon pepper fried riblets was really good. Not over seasoned and HOT!! The collard greens reminded me of how my mom flavors her greens with a hint of sweetness, the mac need a little bit more love though but overall, I appreciate soul food being present in Killeen.

Omggg great food, and great customer service!! I m from Georgia, and was looking for some soul food! It actually surpassed our expectations! The le? On pepper wing were good and fresh.. The only complaint is they didnt offer ketchup or dressing to dip and I got it to go.. But the flavors were good. I also ordered a piece of catfish.. It was delicious I definitely will be going back

Been here twice and both times I have felt very welcomed. Customer service is top notch almost better than the food which is saying something. The feeling is a tight family business but them cooks in the back get busy. If their is a drawback to this restaurant its the portion size of the sides. Could be me being greedy because the food is so delicious but this place is a definite try.

Been in Killeen for 8 weeks almost every week I ate here. The fired ribs, collard greens and yams. For my last meal in Killeen I have chosen LillyMaes. I ve never had fried ribs before it will be one of the only things I miss about Killeen. If you get a chance go get you some. Thanks LillyMae for keeping feed.

Don t look for a home-cooked meal here! My greens were out of a can, right along with the potato salad out of a container, the macaroni was super bland and the pinto beans came from a can! The only thing they actually made themselves was the ribs and the wings that me and my husband ordered! It s Bobby B s for me if you re looking for an authentic cooked meal!

I can t believe how terrible this food was. We ordered 2 fried pork chop plates and 1 fried ribs plate. Let s start by saying all three meats were fried extremely hard and did not have seasoning at all. The Mac n cheese was soooo dry and not cheesy at all. I didn t even bother tasting the greens as I was pissed I just paid $45 for 3 plates and couldn t even eat the meat it was so hard. Lilly Mae was nice but the food was horrible. We will not be back.

Fries rib plate was not what I expected. It was fried so hard it didn t have much meat plus they were Riblets. The flavor was there but that was about it. I also order chicken wings they were fried super hard as well and they were dry. The greens were Sweet, I m not a fan of sweet greens. Now the mac and cheese was very dry! Would I eat here again probably not. But this place does have potential to be better. Maybe I caught them on a bad day or time.

Upon walking into the restaurant, I noticed that it was extremely hot in there. The waitress received a call in her phone and we sat there waiting until the older lady in the kitchen came out and told her to take our order. I ordered several items such as the chicken, fried fish, baked beans, Mac & cheese, yams, banana pudding, and greens. The fish and chicken was amazing and so was the banana pudding as the cookies were fresh and crispy. The sides were subpar. The Mac & cheese was dry and overcooked. There was no creaminess or cheese pull. The beans were ranch style and tasted like they came straight out of the can. So, did the greens. The yams were too mushy and tasted like canned yams as well. I took a banana pudding to go and unfortunately when I got home, it didnt taste as good as the fresh one as the wafers were to mushy.

BEST CATFISH IVE EVER HAD! LEMON PEPPER FRIED RIBS WERE AMAZING! CANDIED YAMS AND MAC & CHEESE CLEARLY HOME MADE! This restaurant is a HIDDEN GEM right in downtown Killeen! They have many more selections and I will be back to try EVERYTHING. To add to the delicious food I ate was ...HOMEMADE BANANA PUDDING....AGAIN AMAZING. Id recommend this eatery FIVE times over.
