Very average experience. Disappointed with the freshness of the food, but I did receive my order quickly. I ordered chicken bibimbop and gyoza. Dry chicken, old rice, no kimchi included. The gyoza was decent, had a nice crisp texture.

I had the same menu for takeout today as I did yesterday at the restaurant. The food feels cleaner and more carefully prepared compared to other restaurants. The tuna kimbap is more filling than expensive sushi because it uses fresh tuna. You should definitely try it.

The service was horrible. We dined in and one of the items that we ordered was a sushi roll once all of our food was sent to the table we reminded the cashier we ordered a sushi roll and he yelled at us and told us we didn t order that and we would know that if we looked at our receipt. . Please do yourself a favor and don t eat here.

I don t know if the other food is good, but the ramen was literally the worst ramen I ve ever had in my life. Very bland, no veggies, or anything. Just water tasting broth, tiny shrimp like the frozen cheap ones in the bag at wal mart, undercooked noodles and eggs. So bad I couldn t finish it. I don t understand how they serve that to customers. Do not get the ramen if you come here. You re literally better off making instant pack ramen at home.

Never again!! Placed an order to go, 2 fried chicken bowls, chicken fried rice, yakisoba and gimbap. Received Bibimbap, Ramen noodles with vegetables not Yakisoba, chicken in the fried rice was small and the rice tasted bland, not sure if that was fried chicken drenched in a sweet sauce but it wasnt good at all!! Order taker wasnt helpful and he gave me bibimbap instead of gimbap..The food went into the trash!

Awful. My husband and I both ordered a bento box to go. I got chicken and he got spicy pork. The box comes with rice, gyoza, cali roll and your meat. Im still not sure what I got was chicken. It was gross, the texture was off. I had one bite and spit it out. It did not have teriyaki sauce it was soy sauce. My rice was soaked in the sauce making it inedible. The only thing I ate was the 2 gyoza. I asked for my Cali roll made to be made without the crab, all they did was open an already made roll and remove the crab, then attempted to reroll it. Miserable attempt too. My husband who just eats his food and never complains. Tossed of his too. I caked for a refund and was hung up on. I plan to call again. We will not try this establishment again.

Darius was extremely knowledgeable and professional and kept the restaurant clean. It s quiet around 3pm, and you can hear softly played TV s. I ordered BIBIM BOP TO GO, and I was pleasantly surprised of the liquid gochujang, fried egg! The dish was ready at the blink of an eye, was delicious and a huge portion. Family friendly, I would come again to this affordable spot! Enjoy!

First time at Cupbop. We ordered two sushi rolls, a ramen and a combination fried rice. The food came out quickly and it smelled delicious. We asked the person for some soy sauce and she pointed to the counter. We thought it odd that she didn t bring it to us since she went, sat and was on her device. I thought the ramen looked a lot like it was from a can. The chicken bits were small and the green onions were sparse. I thought the ramen and rice were bland. Both sushi rolls were excellent and fresh. When we went to get our sodas one of the cups was dirty. I would recommend the Diablo roll and fried tempura roll but everything else was meh.

I went in and ordered to go, I ordered Korean cheesy ramen and added veggies to it, it was amazing and had a little kick to it, veggies tempura, it was okay different selections of veggies that I didn t expect, and two miso soups, I haven t tried I got too full with my other food, and I ordered a mozzarella Korean corn dog with cheese sauce but once I arrived home I noticed it was missing. Over the place was clean and I would come back. I just know to check my food before leaving and I went close to closing time. Update: I went back the next day and the restaurant fix their mistake and made the Korean corn dog fresh for me. Even though the lady that took my order laughed because she said i already touched the food she couldnt do nothing about it.But the other gentleman was reasonable and took care of it. I also ordered the fried dumplings and I really like the crisp and flavor it had.

We are obsessed! We originally came for their HOT STONE bibimbap (oh my goodness tasted just like my grandmas, highly recommend dining in to enjoy the hot stone experience) and their miso soup (DELICIOUS might I add). We enjoyed it so much we returned the same week, and now we are exploring their whole menu with no hesitation (we are picky eaters, especially when it comes to eating out). They just haven t disappointed in any way (didn t matter if we ate there, got it to go, or even when we ordered for delivery) Serving size is great. Flavor is there. The presentation, tops it off. We ve also come to realize it is a mom and pop restaurant which just makes it even better! DONT WAIT TRY IT NOW :) Vegetarian options: Veggie kimbap Veggie tempura Veggie fried rice Veggie yakisoba

Went in today for Korean chicken and to celebrate my birthday. The k dogs were not fried long enough and the batter was runny inside. It was disgusting. The Seoule Chicken and Korean Chicken were cooked well but it was not Korean style. It was Chinese style. The batter was thick like General Tsos or Sesame Chicken you can get at any Chinese restaurant. I was disappointed. $45 dollars for 4 undercooked k dogs and the Chinese Chicken dishes that were labeled Korean. The waitress was very young and could not tell us which k dogs were which so it was a guessing game as to who got what. I will not go back.

When I ate the KFC it tastes more like panda express with ketchup. The spicy pork was super Bland, the gyoza was good. Theres a layer of wilted iceberg lettuce underneath that really taste terrible. Heres why I say the service is terrible. Tax is gouged like crazy!Do NOT GO HERE!! I keep doing the math and it isnt adding up. UPDATE Im a fat guy ALWAYS finish my food. I cant its terrible.

Food was 9/10, could have a smidge more flavor, and meat cut a bit larger, but over all, for the price, fantastic. The fact that these guys arent packed all day and have a waiting list is CRIMINAL. Way better than the mess next door. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed, it was great! The guys at the stoves know what theyre doing, clearly, and the fella in the red hat taking orders was nice and just the right amount of attentive! Would definitely recommend it if you want some stone pot bibimbop! The restaurant itself is a little wacky and all over the place, but not bad. If youre after a good, quiet, peaceful meal, then THIS is the place!

Very fresh. I had the Bibimbob. All the vegetables were fresh. Pork was nice, rice was perfect. This restaurant should get more stars. My only complaint is that thegreen tea was not pure. It was the genmaicha with roasted rice. I dont like toasted rice tea. The should inform the customer before serving this as green tea. Genmaicha is also called poor mans tea. Rice was added to green tea as a filler, to make the very expensive tea last longer.. News flash: Pure green tea is inexpensive these days.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. First, the girl working the register would rather play on her phone than be courteous to their customers. Felt like she was irritated that she had to take our order. When asked questions about the menu, she would say it s on the menu and point rather than explain a little. We ordered two sushi rolls, a sea weed salad and a chicken Bento box with two drinks. Quite a lot for a lunch ticket $45.00. When we paid, she didnt tell us where the cups were and got back on her phone. I asked where the cups were and she pointed and got back on her phone. I grab the cups and they felt greasy and sticky. We ended up getting to go cups because it was nasty. We wanted to get sweet tea but it was empty so I asked if there was more she could make. She acted like she didn t know and asked the cook who put up an X sign with his hands and said we are out. Ok no big deal. We will get a soda. The seaweed salad comes out and like the cups, the bowl was sticky. At this point, my wife wanted to get our $ back and walk out. I said no, let s see what the food is like. I then get my bento box. I should ve taken my wife s info and we left. The grilled chicken was so dry that I didn t even eat it. The side salad was literally a cut up iceberg lettuce smothered in dressing. Nothing else in it. Rice was edible. The sushi was pretty good that came with the box. The two rolls that came after were actually pretty good. Had no complaints there. All in all, I wouldn t recommend this place to anyone.

The manager just didn t care. I don t like that customer service at all. We won t be going back to support a dishonest business.

The food was not good, not even mediocre it was so far below that it doesn t even register. I got 10 dollar ramen I could have made myself for half that price the noodles were over cooked and stuck together like a brick and in my my wife s tempura bento box she got one piece of shrimp, 3 fried russet potatoes, and one fried zucchini along with a salad that was so bad she actually threw up and warm sushi rolls. I normally don t write reviews and normally we don t complain we just accept it but this was so far past the acceptable misunderstanding and just moved to failing to care about their business or their customers. My wife was extremely disappointed as she just had surgery and we both agreed that we should try something different

The rice was not tasty and the meat was cut so small in the fried rice you almost couldnt tell there was any in the dish. The fried chicken cupbob was even worse by the time you got past all the crust there was hardly any meat and the teriyaki sauce that was supposed to be on the chicken was at the bottom of the bowl two dishes I wont try again.

I will say the food I got was tasty but the process it took to order was not the best experience. Upon entering the establishment there was no greeting which wasnt really an issue because maybe they were busy I said to myself. I already knew what I wanted to order and the gentleman at the cash somewhat next to the cash register was just standing there, pretty much having a starring contest for a few minutes before walking to the cash wrap and even then he said nothing no greeting just starring. I brushed it off and just started saying what I wanted to order. I paid he gave me my receipt and that was that. I wasnt sure how long the food would take so I went to my car for about 20 minutes. When I reentered the establishment, there was a gentleman (the only customer there) sitting down, and the workers were just behind the counter and only one of them was actually engaged making food. I assumed hed been helped but after waiting 5 minutes (I thought someone would come to the front once someone comes inside) and had to yell excuse me a few times before the gentleman who was on the cash register came. I asked if my food was ready to which he asked for my receipt and grabbed the food. The customer whod been waiting mentioned that he hadnt been helped and would like to order. Long story short, order online first before going as their customer service is lacking.

I m fairly confident my sushi order was somehow messed up, but my receipt and the clerk said it was the same thing. I hate fried sushi though, so it definitely left me pretty unhappy. They may have some other stuff I would like, but the setup on not really having a waiting staff, and getting charged $18 for what amounted to a pretty pitiful meal don t have me excited to try again.

Really nice place to eat. Food is good & decently priced! The crab salad is a typical lettuce salad with crab meat & a tasty sauce. Gyoza was good & fresh. I wasnt in to the hot tea but my younger sibling loved it & was chugging it down. The Cupbop tower was so good & fulfilling. I couldve ordered that alone & been good. The baked scallops were good. Its extremely cheesy & hot!

Our first time and already felt like the cooks dont care. My salad had long strips of carrots and cucumbers, the lettuce was just quarter cuts and not separated. I was literally having trouble eating it and was not happy about that. We both ordered a cupbob, because we figured thats what theyre known for. Seriously why in the world would you drown the rice in the main items sauce???!!! I couldnt finish my food and my husband had trouble finishing his. Also, we didnt know that the fried chicken and the fried shrimp cupbob was spicy. To the owners, please have some indication on the menu of that, someone can go into shock eating something they didnt know was spicy. Its your job to inform your customers.

The restaurant itself was clean and organized and staff seemed friendly. However the sushi was not too good. The rice was soggy and not sticky which didnt help the structure of the rolls. The ingredients were fresh but overall everything tasted really bland. That being said it was a bit expensive for what it was. I might go back and try the other non-sushi dishes just to give this place a fair shot before I completely write it off.

First time. Got the beef yakisoba and rainbow roll. The yakisoba was a little bland and could use a bit more flavor, but the dish was not half bad. The roll on the other hand was awsome! Fish was super fresh and the rolls are probably the biggest portion in town. Will come again.

Just tried this place out! I have a lot to say lol. Im not picky about anything when it comes to restaurants so Im just doing my best to describe how it was. Id recommend trying this place out for yourself! The food: The spicy pork cupbop was delicious. If youre looking for something truly spicy this isnt it. The flavor and texture of the pork was incredible though. It was served with a heap of rice that had an amazing texture. My boyfriend enjoyed it very much. I ordered the chicken ramen, which was very standard. The noodles were a great texture (slight chew, not soggy or overcooked) and the broth was light. It had crunchy bean sprouts, green onion, and cubes of white meat chicken. I was a little disappointed by it, but thats mostly because I was comparing it to my all time favorite chicken ramen from a place called Toro Ramen. Ramen isnt Cupbops specialty- bibimbap is. So for my rating it doesnt affect much since it isnt one of their selling points in the first place. There was nothing wrong with it but it didnt wow me. Lastly, the sushi was delicious! We tried the Cherry Blossom roll as we had never had a roll with asparagus or honey mustard, and were curious to try something new. I was hesitant at first, but the taste blew me away. The portion was very generous. The rolls were sliced into perfect mouthfuls- not too much or too little. It tasted fresh, light, and flavorful. A touch of soy sauce really brought it up a level too. The staff: Very kind, attentive, and fast at serving and cleaning. They bring the food to your table if you dine in, and wear their mask as they do so. Not too much to say otherwise but they were great. The place: Clean interior, minimal yet tasteful decor, it was a fairly quiet place to enjoy the food. It is a modest interior, but it is hard to say how much the pandemic restrictions affect that aspect (plastic cutlery, the tables are cleared entirely so you have to get your own dinnerware, napkins, soy sauce, etc if you want or need it). I imagine this helps maintain a cleaner and safer space for diners. I dont mind personally but if you want fancy, dont expect it here.

Expensive, rice was less than desireable, sushi was soggy, bibimbop was ok, but rice was stuck in big ball not crispy on sides, the baked scallop roll was not executed well, and who puts cheese on scallops and they failed to tell us cheese was on it when asked what it was made of.

Wow, I was really really blown away by the taste and freshness of the food here! So many healthy and tasty options, I ended up getting the combination poke bowl and was surprised by how big the portion was. Staff was also very humble and thankful for my mom and I coming in. Definitely my new go-to spot for Asian food in Killeen.

Was clean and cashier was friendly, we ordered the ramen my daughter enjoyed it I had the house salad, it was okay, miso soup was decent. The sushi I ordered was really good but the size was enormous, each size was different and not bite sized which made it difficult to eat. I wish you could sub out california roll in bento boxes for an upcharge otherwise I would have definitely gotten that. Will more than likely be coming back

This place is amazing, such a hidden gem! They opened in the middle of COVID, then the winter snow storm hit and affected some nearby businesses so we walked in with an open mind and patience but ended up with the best sushi weve had in a long time! The workers were extremely polite and the rolls we ordered were all so flavorful, well constructed, fresh and just overall amazing! They were prepared in a timely manner as well. We havent been thrilled with sushi options in the surrounding Killeen area since Shogun in Copperas Cove went under new management (weve tried them all) but I can confidently say this is our new go to spot! We ordered ours to go but the restaurant environment was clean, relaxed with open seating and several large TVs and the staff was great! We cant wait to go back and try more! My husbands favorite was the Seoul Roll, I recommend the Hot Night although it was a tough choice since we LOVED them all. The dumplings and fried rice were awesome! Overall the meal experience was superb!
