Used to be ok before 2020, not anymore. They got lazy and started only taking orders only via their little window and never opened the doors again even like years after the pandemic was no longer an issue. Since they no longer have the face their clients at all after giving them their bag the food quality has gone down significantly also. The customer service you get I guess depends on your appearance. I never had an issue with this but it looks like most of the other reviews that complain about bad service have something in common. The food here is no longer worth the price. You are better off going to McDonalds and ordering their worst food. While you probably get the same quality of food at least you will most likely not be treated like an inferior human being.

Just left this establishment. My husband went to the window, there were cars parked outside as well. The man who was behind the counter looked at my husband and did no acknowledge him at all. By this time I got out of the car and walked up to the window also still no acknowledgment. Would have been out first time now we will NEVER go back.

Very disappointing! We craved some fried Yaki Mundu and ordered the 8 piece. It smelled so good. Yet, when we bit into each piece, the result was a fried pastry filled with air and 1/2 teaspoon of a tasteless mush! How awful, disgusting, and very disappointing!

Awefull. Egg rolls had very little filling. .Yaki Mandue were also with very little filling. Shrimp Fried Rice had about 5 popcorn shrimp. Complete waste of money. Bogogie portions were small and dry. Don t go! Very expensive. Not worth the money!

The best Korean food in Killeen hands down. Have been going there since I was a kid. I live on the east coast now but if I ever happened to be down that way Id make a point to stop in and get some of their bulgogi. Its delicious Excellent homemade Kimchi as well. Super nice people. My favorite restaurant in central Texas. Kid-friendliness: Theyll cook up a burger for picky kids. Great people.

Ordered our food from the walk up window. Store was only open for take-out. Extremely friendly and polite. Ordered from menu and was very surprised by the portions. I ordered a few sides and worried they d be small portions. Delightfully impressed. The sides felt like they weighed one pound each. I included some pictures. A large portion of Bibimbap was served. Also ordered kimbap, and we received two dozen pieces. Our yakimandu was just as great. Excellent pricing for the portions and quality of the food. Very fresh. Happy with our visit.

Weve been patrons of this restaurant for many years but as of today, I am deleting them from my contacts. The yaki mandu was horrible. The best way to describe it is a big empty wonton with about ½ teaspoon of some kind of mushy substance that we had no idea what it was. The quality of the food has seriously declined.

Today I thought Id give this restaurant a try, but without knowing much about Korean food. I stood for 10 minutes outside in the cold wind at their order window which displayed an open sign. There was one car in the parking lot besides mine, but no one seemed to notice me. There is nowhere to get out of the weather to order. When someone finally noticed me, I politely asked what bulgogi was. Number 1 was the reply. I know its number one on the menu but there is no description of it whatsoever. I asked again what it was. Beef, Im told. I dont know if this was his lack of English proficiency or just his indifference but I turned around and bought lunch elsewhere. There are at least 20 restaurants with one mile. If you want to attract new customers, you need to do better than this.

This use to be one of our favorite places to eat. Just got Yaki mondues and an egg roll which had about a thin dime size of filling. Very disappointing. They use to be full. Last time I got some they werent very full either. Just got fried dough. Wont be going back. It was also tasteless. Threw 98% of it away. Im not paying for empty fried dough. What a rip off!

The food is very good. The kimchi was very fresh and tangy, spare ribs were perfect. Issue. I paid $42.00 but only got half of what I ordered. Guess thats my bad for not checking my bag before departing the restaurant. They shorted me 2 items. Not pleased and will not return. Nothing to look at from outside. Inside it has about 10 tables in an impeccable clean dining room. The ladies were extremely pleasant and full of smiles. You can see them cooking your food on the spot. I got the Kimchi soup and of course Yakimandoo. Delicious. I had ginseng tea also.. Very tasty. Highly recommend this place.

Update: its been a year now, and its still my go to place for Korean cuisine. The food is so freaking good! Its especially good if you eat it at its freshest at the restaurant, but Ive learned to either wear stretchy-waisted clothing or take it to-go cause I have a hard time stopping at being comfortably full (its just that good!). My favorite dishes are: japchae, bulgogi, kimbap, bibimbap, and their yaki mandu is a great appetizer to share. Theyre reliably fantastic, and Im sure their other dishes are as well. Upon walking into the place, you definitely dont come here for the amazing views. It sits right on Vets memorial and 10th street so very easy to find. They got to me quick and got my drink out very quick as well. Now onto the food. I ordered the beef and broccoli with rice. Initial thought was damn this looks good!! Boy, was I wrong! It was very bland all around and not much flavor. The veggies tasted very raw and their original form. I was able to stomach it enough as I dont like to waste food but I will NOT be coming back on my own volition. My wife likes it here and comes here quite frequently so I wont hinder her but I wont be. The price isnt high so thats a redeeming facmV, tor to this whole thing. I think its between a 1 and 2 star so I gave it the benefit of the doubt. Eat here if you want but I wouldnt recommend the beef and broccoli at all. The egg roll was also very disappointing. Wonderful. It did feel like eating at home. We were greated by a warm and friendly lady (owner?). The fried rice had a hint of coconut that made me want more and more. The Bimbimbap was cooked just right and full of veges, and crunchy rice. Side dishes were cool and homemade (not from a jar). Ate here for the first time today. I ordered this dish Kimchi chicken with cabbage and rice. After a few bites, I knew I couldn t take it anymore because it was very salty! I told the server and he said he ll see what he can do. He came back and said the manager can t do anything about it and I still have to pay. I said I m not eating it like this. You guys are gonna have to fix this if you want me to pay, while handling him my plate. As I was waiting, the manager and the cook came out the kitchen with a face. I was waiting and waiting, while watching my friend and other people get their food. I finally asked where s my food. The waiter said, oh the manager said he cannot do anything about it and he won t charge. So why not tell me? I ve been waiting for my food. The worst service ever! This is our go to place for burgers. Everything is cooked to order and very fresh. They have a great variety of toppings for the burgers too. They even have live music on some nights. Ive eaten here numerous times over the years. I keep coming back for the bulgogi and spicy hot pork bulgogi, the kalbi is also outstanding. This is a small mom and pop restaurant. The service can be slow at times. Enjoy! Good atmosphere, quick service. Food is real good. Been coming here since the late 90s. Family friendly. Went to KK with a friend I work with. I recently returned from Korea and I was of course craving the good food, Korean Kitchen hit the mark, with only a few minor differences. Still very good food. Ive eaten here numerous times over the years. I keep coming back for the bulgogi and spicy hot pork bulgogi, the kalbi is also outstanding. This is a small mom and pop restaurant. The service can be slow at times. Enjoy!

Just like the title says Korean Kitchen is a staple of Central Texas. The food is served fast but the food is by far the best Korean food in the area. Ive eaten here numerous times over the years. I keep coming back for the bulgogi and spicy hot pork bulgogi, the kalbi is also outstanding. This is a small mom and pop restaurant. The service can be slow at times. Enjoy! Soooo yummy with large portions. Galbi and rice is amazing. Lunch specials are cheap and no long waits.

The kimbob roll is always fresh and delicious. I order the combination plate with bulgogi, I have never been disappointed! Highly recommend this place!

We all went for our first trip (six of us, four of which never having had Korean food) and all of us were satisfied with the food quality and quantity. Even those of us who had safe items like shrimp fried rice were happy with the choices we made. However the service was lacking in that we all had a glass that ran empty a little over halfway through our meal and didnt get refilled. I am however under the impression that a cultural difference may be the cause for that. Thats the only reason I gave this place a four out of five. Bottom line Im going to be going back.
