So me and my daughter went into this restaurant after hearing how good the ramen was. We both ordered ramen she ordered beef and I ordered regular but added broccoli because I m trying to stop eating meat. The ramen was actually good until I started noticing little black and brown things in the broth at first I thought it was just pepper flakes but after taking 3 little black spots out and putting them on a piece of paper napkin I saw little legs and automatically knew they were fruit flies you know I wasn t even up set I went to the front asked the cash register employee to come look at the broth which he did and agreed with me in seeing the bugs I just assumed they just didn t rinse out my bowl because when I checked my daughters her ramen didnt have the fruit flies I even had veggie fried rice and nothing so the cashier told me he would refund me but i actually liked the ramen and just asked if they could remake it for me without the fruit flies. He said yes they could so we waited about 5 to 10 mins he bring the to go packages food back to me and me and my daughter leave. So I told myself let me Check this food cause I just had a feeling they didn t remake it. And of course they didn t or if they did I still had fruit flies in the broth and the bowl was under half full which also made me feel they just poured the left over broth in a to go container and didn t remake my broth orrrrrrr the fruit flies that day where in the big pot of ramen broth!!!! Be careful eating here please unless you enjoy fruit flies!!!! I wish I would have took a picture but isn t slipped my mind!!! Oh and on top of all that the pricing is way expensive I spent over $50 And it was just me and my daughter and I couldn t even get a remake of my broth smh!!! I want to give no stars but you have to give at least one to leave a review!!!!

Review update. My original post was 5 stars. This WAS my go-to spot for fresh sushi and other items on the menu. However, since reopening after covid, this place has gone way down!The prices are higher, for less food, subpar service, and OLD/SPOILED FOOD! I ordered my usual glass noodles with shrimp and veggies tonight, and the noodles and veggies were SPOILED! Immediately after taking my food out of the bag, it smelled rancid as if it had been sitting out all day. Having to drive all the way back to the restaurant, they did remake the order, but the quality and taste of the food is still nowhere where it used to be. I was extremely disappointed, and tonight was my last order there!!

First time coming here. Ordered the spicy pork bowl house salad and California roll. House dressing was great. California roll could use more avocado spicy pork was yummy not really spicy though. Other than it taking 15 minutes for the food to come out it was good. Ginger was fresh. I used the house dressing to do my California roll it improved the taste.

California roll didnt come with Avocado. I ordered 2 California rolls. Also 1 gentlemen left 10 minutes before I did even though i ordered before him. Aswell as an entire family that came in after that gentleman got most thier food. When the food was packaged they placed one of my rolls on top of the Wasabi making me pick off the large chunk. After eating the rolls I was left with a dirty water after taste. I never leave many reviews but this was just down right horrendous.

We placed an order for pick up and it was understandably as bigger order, about 12 individual items, but when it was time to pick up the food we noticed that when we got home 5 out of the 12 items were wrong and/or missing. so my husband went back to get the missing items the chef was kind but the other workers were to busy socializing behind the counter to pay attention. the lids were not secured shut so the rolls/food started to fall out. Noodles were OVER the over cooked stage, and the last item was just thrown into the bag. I would understand if it was busy, mistakes happen but my 10 year old even noticed and said that there was only 3 other people in there that was eating. Just be weary what you order and what actually arrives. We always herd about good things about this place and when we finally decide to try it out it left us very disappointed. We definitely would never waste money here again.

First time trying and was not impressed the California roll didn t even have avocado in it and rice was gummy also got ramen with chicken and the broth was a grayish color not appetizing at all, and the chicken reminded me of the frozen cubed chicken from Walmart and the ramen was plain Definitely very disappointing. I tried to call to talk to a manager the guy at the front was not helpful I talked to cook who was nice and said this is how they always did it.

Ordered the kogi bento box, two orders fried rice, and two orders of yakimandu . The food seriously lacked flavor. It was blah. The yakimandu was not more like a gyoza or noodle-like dumpling. I have never had yaki mandu that was like that. The rice wasn t very good either definitely not fried rice. First and last time eating here. If you want anything close to Korean, this is NOT the place.

The customer service was literally what drew us in...we were walking by and glanced in and one of the employees (Isaac) came out and talked us into trying it. We definitely were not disappointed! I get the same order every few months. Each time the fried rice tastes different. Tonight, my order tastes likes whites rice with some Lowrys seasoned salt and frozen or canned mixed vegetables. There is nothing fresh or authentic about it Why is my fried rice white with a few mixed vegetables? Order the same items from your menu and each time the veggie fried rice tastes different. Tonight, it was horrible! Some of the rice was hard and it was super bland. It looked like someone threw some mixed vegetables on top of some old rice. You also charge way too much for those little spring rolls. Vegetarian options: Not many vegetarian options.

Such a great place. I had the braised rib bento box and my dining partner got udon noodles with chicken. I just started an internship a few minutes away by foot and am going to make it a mission to go through their whole menu. The sushi was delicious and I cant wait to try all their rolls! Sushi chef that was there Saturday January 6th 2024 , microwaved my husband s Eel for his black dragon sushi roll . At first my husband returned the roll because the avocado was brown almost black . He than made another roll and the Eel ended up being microwaved as the worker said . My husband now has food poisoning and has been throwing up like crazy . This should have NEVER been microwaved I have never heard of a sushi restaurant microwaving fish prior to putting it in sushi ! The workers tried to make it right but at that point my husband was sick crouching down because his stomach felt so bad . I normally don t leave reviews but the amount I paid for my food, the visual, and the taste I received pissed me off so bad I had to make one. Definitely the worse rolls I have ever eaten in Killeen. Got a Spider roll which normally comes with a whole soft shell crab I only had a leg in my roll that was barely able to fit the whole roll. So it was definitely pointless to call it a Spider roll. I also got the Black Dragon roll and the imitation crab salad that came on both rolls had a nasty before and after taste. I love me a good sushi and both of the rolls I got are my go to rolls but I will not be going for them again at this location. Waste of my money!

It s one of the type of restaurants you order your food before you take a seat and they give you a number. I ordered the vegetable tempura and my friends ordered the galbi bento box, the chicken teriyaki bowl. Each came with miso soup or a salad. Surprisingly mine came with both. Love the flavor of the miso soup and the ginger dressing in the cup of iceberg salad. lol so delicious I kinda wanted to sip it after I was done. Nobody remarked about how their food tastes, but my vegetable tempura was light crispy and tasty. As for cleanliness, it was fine, nothing notable to mention.

I love some of the fried rolls, and the miso soup. I like coming here for something filling. Edit: The Miso Soup is very flavourful and has been my go to for something filling and hot, along with an order of Cucumber Kimchi. This has the spicy kick I want and the delicious flavour I craved. I try to come here for lunch often, it does get busy, but it is so worth it. The fried rolls and regular rolls are so wonderful. Everything has always been perfect. Absolutely no complaints from me every time. Super friendly staff, attentiveness to your needs. Just wonderful. Ill try to add photos on my next visit.

Cannot recommend this place. You d figure that the signature dish that the place is named after would be good NOPE .. tasted like really bad off brand teriyaki beef jerky over bland noodles and rice. This place is counter service so we ordered two Kobi bowls and dropped $3 in the tip jar prior to getting our food and the guy taking our orders looked at the tip jar and kinda made an ugh noise like that $3 wasn t a good enough tip for just taking my money. The food was awful and the ONLY REASON I m giving this place two stars is that the blond lady was very good at her job of bringing nasty food to the table and making sure we had everything to eat that nasty food. She s your shining star. Better keep her and tell that ungrateful cashier to THANK PEOPLE when they leave a tip prior to getting their food / service etc

Food was ok. Definitely not worth the price that you pay. The ramen was soggy and had a strange texture. The chicken that they use for the ramen also looks like it came from a can. The sushi was fine, but not worth the price. It lacked quality ingredients and the flavors came from an overload of sauces that is used to mask the quality of the sushi. The kogi bowl was good. Japchae and beef were definitely the highlight of the order. Im not use to paying immediately over the phone, so it caught me off guard that they were quick to ask for payment. The staff was nice, but nothing was worth coming back for. Highly recommend saving your money and just getting sushi from H-E-B. Skip everything on the menu, but if you had to order from this place then get the Kogi Bowl.

So we come here often and usually love it. Sometimes it isnt great but most the time it is. I would give a 5 star but every single time we go there, we still stand at the counter and several staff will walk by and not acknowledge you at all. Like its a point to not make eye contact. Its not until they are ready to deal with you that they give you any attention. Yall really need some training to welcome someone as they come in and say youll be with them soon. Its not hard. Please fix this guys. UPDATE MONTHS LATER: I took my 4 stars down to 2 stars. This is as a fan of this place for the longest time. Food is gross most the time now. Not consistent. Still rude staff that ignore you. I used to eat here a few times a week. Then it was a few times a month. Now its Im craving what it used to be and I want to try again... Always regret it. I went here last week and had the chicken teriyaki bento bowl and that was really good. Today I decided to try the spicy beef ramen, I wish I would have read the reviews on the ramen before ordering. It was bland the beef and noodles were both over cooked. A waste of my $15

Always a staple stop whenever we are in town. The portions are perfect. The sushi is fresh and made in house. Prices are good. Recommend the udon. Sooo good!

After getting home with my to go order, I discovered that I was missing a sushi roll so I called and went back to the restaurant to get the sushi roll and was informed that I had to wait longer than expected because the cooks made the roll wrong when trying to correct it. I simply asked if I could get an additional roll or something, because my other food at home was now getting cold. The manager, Miss Chang proceeded to be extremely disrespectful to her employees, turning around, looking and pointing at me as if I were the problem. My family eats at this restaurant quite often so it is very disappointing to see how management is treating their employees and how management is not creating a welcoming environment for customers to want to return.

I always had this dish with tofu and today I came to the restaurant and this old lady asian manager told me I couldnt add tofu to my meal even I was paying extra , when I used to come often to this restaurant and they always gave me tofu for extra money, I dont know how hard or difficult is add tofu to a dish even it wasnt for free.

Hidden gem! My girlfriend and I stopped by on a Monday while driving home from Inks Lake. I had the hot rice bibimbap and she had 2 sushi rolls. Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious, but the bibimbap was next-level. Its a must try if youre there. Five stars!

I loved the variety of food. I enjoyed the sushi that had been customized for the local town. My friend had spicy noodles that were spiced just right. The server was very attentive to making sure our dishes were cleaned up as we talked.

I have visited the Kogibowl just once, and Ill refine the review the more I visit. I tried a sampling from the menu and found the Sushi Rolls to be quite good, and the bowl entrees to be ample in portion and in need of a bit more zip. I probably would have preferred the spicier options. Staff was friendly and polite during my visit. Not much going on in terms of atmosphere, making it more efficient than charming. It would not make any difference for those who place to-go orders, and was good enough for the lunch crowd. Probably not a date night destination, but perfect for taking home. Ingress and egress from the parking lot was pretty good for being on Clear Creek near the hospital and military post.

Food was really good. Udon noodle bowl was HUGE and very tasty. Proportion sizes were appropriate for the prices charged. The food wasnt crazy off the charts flavorful, but it was all super fresh which made it enjoyable. The restaurant was clean and the staff was super helpful and nice.

The most disgusting food I have ever had. We got the chicken fried rice, the ranger roll and the Killeen roll and every single thing was gross. I honestly do not know what was in. The ranger roll. I took one bite and spit it out. It was supposed to be shrimp but looked like raw chicken. The fried rice wasn t fried at all and had weird seasoning on it. I have seriously never had worse food.
