Uber eats order .yeah the one time I didn t look at the reviews and just ordered something, I cant even begin to explain this food, just don t do it, I don t know how you can make something gross that has no flavor, pretty sure one of the rolls was covered in malt vinegar for some reason and the beef yakisoba I think had cinnamon in it . Very weird to say the least, definitely don t waste your time

When I pulled up to pick up my order I noticed a sign that said they were under new ownership. The menu was the same so I didn t think anything of it. My to go order came in two bags, but instead of the hot and the cold stuff separated it was mixed in. The sashimi plate tasted like straight lemon, ginger and wasabi paste came in packets, and the cilantro roll now is just a roll covered in dried cilantro flakes. The chopsticks they gave were flimsy and useless. The fried rice and yakisoba had almost no flavor. Dropped near 150 on this order. Very disappointing. This has always been my favorite sushi spot in Killeen. Guess I ll be on the lookout for a new one.

Summary: Not worth $$$ *Based on sushi and roll Uber eats order. Definitely not worth your hard earned money in comparison to the quality of food. Rice isnt properly seasoned, stale fish thats thinner than AYCE places, and no chopsticks for takeout order. Look at that California roll, Ive never seen a CA roll filled with that much rice with tiny crab meat/avocado and they charge how much? Not worth $ & theres no value.

I brought my family here for lunch. I heard from friends and a past review of this place that they had Uni, but unfortunately I was out of luck. However, this wasnt the end of our bad luck with this place. The one waitress was nice, but our drinks were served in very apparent dirty cups and the tables were still a little dirty. The food fared worse. We ordered the calamari and quickly found out that the tough, rubbery membrane was not stripped from the squid. It was like chewing on a rubber band. The fish mostly had no flavor at all, and the ones that did tasted slightly putrid. The only good dish I had was the Unagi. That tasted excellent. Sadly, that eel was all alone with that level of quality. Weirdly, the entrées came out before the appetizers. I ordered the Pork Katsu dish and I received the chicken katsu pounded flatter than a day old soda and was dry. The rice seemed old. Honestly, the best thing on the plate was the small serving of broccoli. My mother and sister got the Chirashi bowl and was disappointed with the fish having no flavor. The Dragon Roll was also served piled up in a bowl, slathered in an assortment of toppings, instead of being lined up on a plate. Overall, for over $100, my wallet hurts almost as much as my stomach after all that.

We ve eaten here before, a few times but today my experience was not good. I was very hungry and it s the only one I could find that is open on a sunday. I ordered Dynamite Roll and Beef fried rice. Dynamite roll: This time, they made it super fancy but sometimes too much of good things is actually bad. I did not like this. There was too much toppings, it was smelling super fishy and not fresh. We did not finish it. I regret ordering this. Beef Fried Rice: Tastes like leftover rice with frozen peas and veggies. We left after 10mins of eating. The service: It was okay, nothing worth noting. It s a hit or miss, depending on who the cook is and preparing your sushi. I m not taking anymore chances with wasting my money and sacrificing food quality and experience. I m disappointed and sadly won t be back.

I stopped in yesterday because I was craving some pho/ramen and the place that I normally go to (right next door to then) was closed due to an emergency. I had the shrimp noodle soup and a sushi roll. I wanted a Thai tea while I waited for my food, but the host stated they didn t have that. The seating area was quiet and calm. They had a tv playing a sports game. The food: The noodles were amazing! The soup broth seemed a little flat to me and could have used more flavor dimension... pepper, salt, spicy something was missing. The shrimp were the super small ones and weren t flavored at all. They tasted like there were boiled in regular water. The soup had lots of vegetables (onion, cabbage, carrot, lettuce that type of thing) in it. There surprisingly wasn t an egg served with it, as ramen normally has. There was a fried piece of something in the soup, I think carrot? Didn t understand something being fried/breaded and added to wet soup. I would go back again for the sushi, but for my ramen/pho fix I ll go elsewhere. Hopefully I can try their sake selection next time. It seemed pretty extensive.

Absolutely delicious. We came at 3pm on a Sunday and were treated as royalty, even with me looking like a bum. 2 beef bento , Veggie and shrimp tempura, absolutely delicious!! I loved the assorted dumpling mix and the rice was cooked perfectly and nice and sticky. Photo of my almost cleaned plate for proof! **Edited Post, 1 star review here- While initially I was so excited to eat here, the ethics of this restaurant has led me to leave them 1 star. From the get-go, they had upcharged me for the food I had ordered, stated it was due to covid and that they would modify it later on. I did NOT leave a tip, nor sign the recipt due to this issue. They then proceeded to charge an additional $10 to my bill on top of the $50+ bill I had already seen. The bento boxes were listed for $13, and I should not have been charged $50 or anywhere near this. I will not be editing my review. If you want to be charged extra, eat here. Parking: Very easy parking in front of restaurant.

First time trying it & it was horrible! We ordered several sushi plates. And to save space they brought everything in one of their boat platters. One of the sushi rolls was the spider roll and my son took a bite and spit it out, the crab in it had gone bad! You could see it was grey color and it smelled really bad. And to make things worse, there was a ROACH coming out of the boat!!!! Disgusting!!! Never going back, they are definitely buying reviews! This place needs to be inspected!!!

I rarely give reviews, but I just had to in this case. We will never eat here again. We sat down, and the first thing we saw was a roach near the base of our table. We shrugged it off and decided to stay and order. The menu that was shown on Google did not match the one in-store, as many items were missing. I ordered the beef bento, and my fiancé got the chicken udon. For me, the rice was overcooked, the beef was gristly, and the vegetable medley was still partially frozen. As for the noodles, they were alright, but the chicken was like chewing on rubber.

This food was amazing: flavorful bulgogi, well done and exquisite sushi, and great tasting edamame. We ordered a few sushi rolls and really enjoyed the different flavors (though the Wasabi was a little underwhelming). Why four stars? As we prepared to order, we noticed the menu had quite a bit of entrees with stickers on it and the server mentioned there were a number of things out of stock. Food was great, but it was ruined by poor customer service. The receptionist was extremely rude and caught an attitude because we came to close to closing time. She sat us at a dirty table then lied and said it was clean, however there was sticky stuff all over the table, then failed to ensure that there was no shell fish in food when we clearly explained that one of us had a shell fish allergy, and then when we brought it to her attention that there was shell fish in the dish, she caught an attitude and said that s your check and you are paying for it. From that point on she was shouting and throwing insults trying to make us feel like we were in the wrong for coming in 30 minutes before closing time. It got to the point that the cook came out and told her to go home and handled the situation in a very professional manner. She clearly is not cut out for customer service, not to mention her clothes were filthy to be working as a hostess at a restaurant and her teeth looked like cheese. I do appreciate the cook s professionalism, but unfortunately I ll probably never eat at this establishment again because this horrible employee.

So many different rolls to choose from! We stopped in for a really late lunch (2:30) and had the place to ourselves. We decided to try the Cilantro Roll, the Big Mama, Shrimp Tempura Roll and the Pearl Roll with seaweed salad and edamame. Everything was wonderful and fresh. Do not go here! If you dont mind waiting for a while to get your food and the waitress not knowing what she is doing then youll be fine. Youll get your main course first before your appetizers and if you ask a question about the food and why it looks a certain way the owner will come out and let you know nothing is wrong and you must be used to it a different way. Oh we did get free entertainment though. A line cook came out and was talking too one of the chefs saying that he cant talk to his lady like that and he wants his money,blah,blah,blah. Our appetizers where covered in grease. My kids noodles where bland and burnt on the bottom and my other kids food was dry. My sushi had no taste. I have some pictures of our food. I just called today on 02/0to get information on the yum yum roll i specifically asked hi , is shrimp tempura fried shrimp he proceeded to say no it s cooked shrimp i said ok can i get that he cuts me off yells and say wait a minute then hangs up on me , he was extremely rude! That was very unnecessary

Food was good and prices werent bad. However, my son has a gluten allergy and we told the waitress this. We specifically asked if they had gluten free soy sauce. She excitedly answered yes and said it came in Togo packages and she would bring us some. She seemed so confident in her answer so we trusted her and he ate the soy sauce she brought. Half way through he started feeling sick and checked the ingredients.. It WAS NOT gluten free! She infact grabbed the wrong ones! His condition is very serious and effects his heart. What she did was not ok. An honest mistake can cost a life.

Good Sushi but the service a bit crappie, they only had one server for like 5 or 6 tables that were occupied at the time i went. She kept forgetting to bring things i assume from being so busy with all the other, therefore making the experience not so great.

If I could give ZERO STARS I would, we sat there after ordering for 30 mins never got our food or seen our waiter! When he finally did come around he just said my bad , we were offered some free meso soup but we decided just to leave BUT not before they tried to charge us for an appetizer we didn t get!!! Maybe they should hire more people or train the ones they have better!!!!! HORRIBLE

Upon entering there was no welcome, even though we were the only ones there. Took a bit to be acknowledged. Service was definitely lacking here on our visit. Ordered hot tea which came out luke-cold, had to ask two different times for it to be heated. Recieved an order that wasnt placed and didnt receive 2 orders that were placed. Food that we did recieve was just okay. Not impressed by my first and will be only visit to this establishment. I hope if you do choose to try it out your experience is better than ours

We came for Happy Hour (Monday-Thursday, 4-6pm), and it did not disappoint. The sushi was amazing, and the service was very quick! We tried a new appetizer (pictured below), and it was out of this world!!! The waitress and other staff were super friendly as well - If you re looking for good sushi and great service in the area, this is your place!

The waitress was wonderful, but my friends and I saw the signs for happy hour and it was Thursday. Most restaurants I have known have happy hours Monday through Friday. There was nothing on the signs that said Happy hour wasnt through the week, so my friends and I asked about it and the waitress said it was only on Fridays. They no longer serve dessert and that waitress is the only waitress there, bless her heart. Food is very expensive when compared with other sushi places. If there was a lot of customers dont expect your food to come out for at least 30 minutes on a good day, 1 hour on a bad day. At one point, Im sure this place had potential. Now, its slowly sinking into the abyss.

I love this place, just went here today for lunch and I think its the most authentic sushi spot Ive been to in killeen. I dont have to drive all the way to Austin for good sushi. great place, great price and great vibe. I recommend it.

Super disappointed, we just got an order through Uber eats... the sushi was unusually warm and pretty skimpy for the price. The Katsu chicken was dry, came with 0 sauce, and tons of rice. Overall, whole family is unhappy and I m out 94$. Thanks!

I hate leaving bad reviews but everything was just not good. The portions were too small and didn t taste good enough for the price. The chicken I got was tough and I found what looked to be a gnat or tiny fly in my rice, I didn t want to complain about it since the waitress was nice but way too busy packing to-go orders so it took too long for her to let us pay and leave.

I have recently developed an intolerance to allium foods, so garlic and onions are a no go. I called to see if the udon was made with any of those ingredients. I was told they were but assured they could be made without. I ordered an udon bowl with no meat, no garlic and no onions and 2 Philly rolls. After arriving home I looked at the udon and it had chicken and reeked of onions. The Philly rolls just looked bad, the fish looked almost brownish and definitely not fresh, despite ordering as soon as they opened. My husband called to complain, explaining I cant eat this and was brushed off. He promised a credit then hung up without getting personal information from us. The food was not worth the price and the customer service was very poor.

Absolutely horrible! I never take the time to write reviews, so please understand how bad of an experience I had just by that alone. First of all, the portions. I paid the $11.95 for Beef Yaki Soba, through Favor not sure what menu price is, and for that much I was expecting more than what seemed like one package of Top Ramen s worth of food. Then the sushi roll that was $7.95 for 6 slices of sushi. Now to the taste I mentioned Top Ramen earlier which is exactly what it tasted like. I could have made a better dish at home and got WAY BETTER sushi from H-E-B!!! which I just should have done. This place should do a massive amount of soul searching and change or get out of the game for good, make room for a restaurant that deserves to take its place. I m ashamed I ever chose to eat here.

This place is ok. If you re in a rush and crave sushi, you could go here, but i would hardly call it Authentic Japanese . I ordered Uber Eats delivery and I got the order in under half an hour. That s about the only reason this restaurant received a second star. Otherwise, the sushi is mediocre. The mango on my Mango Tango Roll was clearly not fresh, but it was ok. I ordered the beef Yakisoba, too. Very upset with that order. They skimped so hard on the beef, and what pieces were there were about as small as a dime. The only vegetables were onions and cabbage. This was the saddest plate I could ve eaten. Luckily, I was hungry, so I ate it.

Came in during a weekday lunch, didnt have to wait for a table. The restaurant looks nice from the inside, just what Id expect from a new establishment. I ordered ika & tako nigiri. The fish was quite fresh and had a perfect texture. I also ordered a spicy tuna roll(I ate one before remembering to take a Pic lol), it was smaller than I expected, with cucumber slices about double the size I expected. The cucumber overpowered the spicy tuna, leaving you with very little spicy tuna flavor. Then I ordered a spicy tuna tempura roll. I am not sure if it was spicy tuna or just regular tuna because the spicy mayo overpowered the taste of the fish. Overall the food I ordered was pretty good, a little bit overpriced for the quality.

Ordered food from this place on UberEats. I got bulgogi, tempura and yakisoba. Nowhere on the menu did it say any items were spicy. The yakisoba was spicy. I ordered it for my kids. I called the restaurant about it and the manager gives me sarcasm saying we have to specify if we want the food spicy or not. Japanese yakisoba is not spicy dish! This manager tells me she will call and give a free replacement when she is working again which I know is a stunt to get me off the phone. Unprofessional. Wouldnt recommend this place. Mediocre food.

Awful. I am so dissapointed and wish I hadnt spent my money here. For starters I had a SOGGY pile of tempura mush in my ramen. This place doesnt deserve your money. Rice was way over cooked the chicken in the rice was definitely reheated or left over for a day or so it had that horrible reheated chicken taste. Shrimp ramyum was disgusting idk where they was going with that but it had clumps of soggy fried shrimp in it. Save your money take your business elsewhere. I give 0 stars. Wish I had my money back I paid a lot for this trash.

This place has really gone downhill. Last time I brought a date here and it was so disappointing. The rice was crunchy, the food didnt have the same flavoring and the staff was taking forever to get to our table. I didnt post before because I believe benefit of the doubt, maybe they had an off day. So I came in today to see if that was the case. At 11:30 I came but the door was locked. Open sign was on but I thought maybe they are still doing final touches. I waited for ten minutes before deciding to leave. Im really disappointed, this use to be my favorite place but these last two times has been severely under minimum expectations. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
