This one is located inside of Walmart, So at first I was a little skeptical of how it would be. It was pretty good! They had a good selection of burgers and you can craft your own if you like. My wife is a vegetarian, and they had impossible burger patties. Milkshakes were great, we ordered Red Velvet (which had a mini red velvet cupcake in the drink) and Cinnamon Toast Crunch ( the actual cereal blended inside) I would go back with my family again. Expect to spend around $15 person, drink and fries included) $8 for kids.

This place caught me walking out of Walmart so I wasn t even there to try their food I was there doing shopping I seen the picture of their ghost pepper burger and walked into the eating area with my wagon. I ordered that burger which was $10.99 and the onion rings which were 4-5.99. So about $15.00 for a meal. I will say that s expensive but I m always willing to-see if it s worth it. It was!!the burger was nice&moist, cheesy, and the jalapeños were on point. Every bite flowed and every bite was melting in my mouth!! So definitely got me! When I opened my wrapper I was expecting the burger to be a little bit bigger but I guess it was all in the taste!! Will be going back to try their other stuff on the menu. The signature brownie shake was on point as well. I ordered 2 of them for my kids to try and they loved it!!

This place is a hidden gem thats a definite were hitting this place up every time we drive by. The burgers are good sized and freaking delicious. The onion rings are damn good, the sweet tea is spot on and the banana pudding is grandma good. This place is definitely the bomb.

I ordered a family meal from this location and spent about $60. The burgers,fries and onion rings were very good! The 6 piece chicken tenders were short 2 tenders, what we did get was way over cooked to the point of looking burnt. I also ordered an oreo milkshake. But when I arrived to pick up my order, they only had what I consider to be bad substitutes ie. chocolate banana milkshake and strawberry banana smoothie. I asked for my money to be returned for said missing/inedible items. They literally told me they couldnt give me my money back; stating go back to Wayback burgers website and contact the company they use for online orders fair enough. Only problem is that company(DoorDash store front) never got back to me and Wayback burgers still got my money! And I got no remedy to my situation. Due to bad customer service I cant recommend this location. Tldr; burgers, fries, and onion rings were great but kinda pricey. The issue stole about $9 due to missing/inedible items with no customer service care.

What a surprise, honestly! The food is really good and there are enough options on the menu to keep you coming back to try more. You can watch them make everything fresh while you are sitting there. I ordered a grilled chicken BLT and a shake. It took a 30 min wait for that order which is not so bad but still not good, it can improve. The chicken blt was to greasy as you can see on the photo and salty for my taste. Due to the greasiness and saltiness I couldn t finish it as it hurt my stomach :( The service was good though.

We have been there 3 times. The first time they said it was gonna be a 6 hour wait until they open because they had an online order. The second time there was no one there even though it says online and the sign they open at 10 am. This morning we went and they said they could only do online orders because their coworker wasnt there on time. It seems every time we go when they are open there is always some reason they cant take our orders or anyone elses orders. This is ridiculous. If youre not able to take care of business within hours dont be open. How can you call this hard work when you dont take care of in store customers?

Only 2 stars because the food is mediocre. I have been here 3 separate times and the staff is also rude and being very unprofessional. Today 26FEB we went in and ordered, as I m getting my card out to pay, the staff member who s taking my order, her NOSE ring fell out right in front of me. I proceeded to pay and then watch if she was going to wash her hands, that never happened. I also ordered a small coffee milkshake and the picture shows when she handed it to me. Not even a full cup of the small milkshake I paid for. Come on now. I don t know if it s the people working or the management but something needs to change.

I cant give it all five simply because its nestled in Wally world. I try to avoid the crowded store as much as possible. Was it worth the drive? Yes...yes it was. This is definitely not the place for a vegan, Californian-diet, grass-eater. I dont remember much about the menu but what I do remember is the fact that before I walked away from the counter, I saw (with my own two eyes) the young man slide open a drawer of ground meat. The meat had a beautiful pink/red pigment and was not frozen. They werent patties either. The burger wasnt overwhelming. I also ordered a strawberry-banana milkshake and I promise you it was the best one Ive had to date. Im pretty finicky about my shake...just the right amount of all ingredients! The entire meal was delicious and the staff were friendly. Dont skip this one!

Double charging a customer for an order & then claiming the customer didn t pay in store is just poor business. We placed an order on the Wayback Burgers Google Pixel app on 10/10/2020, shows as Level Up on our bank statement. Paying $18.69 for a pick up order. When my husband picked up, he was asked to provide his card and was then charged at the Killeen, TX location for $18.69, AKA, we paid $37.38 for a single combo. He was given a Takeout, Online Order receipt, showing he already paid, yet was still asked for AND charged again for his order. I have been attempting to get a refund for the in store additional charge of $18.69 since October and am just getting the run around. Killeen, TX location is claiming we never paid in store, yet I have provided bank statements showing Level Up POS (point of sale) AND Killeen, TX POS, two transactions, exact same amount, exact same day. This is just pathetic, please feel free to put me in contact with a person in your company who isn t shady, thanks! Updating to add - Wayback Burgers corporation/headquarters did get in contact with me. I had no luck with the physical location, but I was refunded my money after jumping thru hoops and going well above the Killeen location.

On the way home we decided to stop by & place our order to go. Ordered 1 classic & 2 way burgers (asked for tomato on the way burgers & was told they came with it), 3 ofries, 1 Lg drink & an order of macaroni bites which was $37.00(I thought this was rather high). After waiting 35-40 minutes we got our food except we were 1 way burger & ofries short. Then they told us they didnt ring us up for the way burger & ofries so were waiting another 30 minutes and $14.00. Got home & surprise the ofries turned out to just be fries and there was no Tomatoe on the way burgers. The food was good but not $51 good for what we got. We wont be returning to Wayback burgers

I recently moved to Killeen and my son and I decided to try Wayback since we were already in Walmart. We ordered the buffalo tenders with French fries, hotdog and a lemonade. It was a horrible experience and I dont think Ill be back for the following reasons: 1. The food in general looked and tasted pre-made. (Zero freshness) 2. The server gave us our lemonade out of a jug (I have no problem) but he then left the jug on the counter and went for his own personal cup, poured himself some and drinked while making food. 3. While placing fries in the bag for takeaway, the said server proceeded to eat from the batch of fries. 4. The lemonade was tasteless (needs a bit of work) Overall I am extremely disappointed and disgusted. Would not recommend at all. Thank you.

Ordered off DoorDash to get two Phillycheese Steaks one with meat and cheese and one with meat , cheese, grilled onions, mushrooms mayo and jalapeños. I go to pick up the order, drive all the way back to my house just to find out one of the sandwiches is completely wrong! The plain one was okay but the one that was suppose to be set up with all the veggies was not! It literally only had jalapeños , meat and cheese. So I called up there to speak with a manager and let them know I m coming back. Once I get there they re acting all confused just like high school kids would be. First of all they had a ATTITUDE that I came back in there, second when they examined the sandwich they put their little nasty fingers all in my sandwich just to confirm it was wrong how they made it. Then they had the AUDACITY TO WRAP IT BACK UP AND PLACE THE MISSING VEGGIES THAT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE COOKED WITH THE SANDWICH ON THE SIDE. DIDN T EVEN OFFER TO REMAKE IT! I HAD TO ASK THEM AND THEY ALL HAD A ATTITUDE ABOUT IT, TOOK THEIR SWEET TIME AND DID OTHER PEOPLES ORDERS! I DIDNT EVEN GET AN APOLOGY. The food is good but imagine placing an order online and you want it delivered. Then you wait about an hour for when the food should be on the way. Then you get a text for when the food should be at your door saying the restaurant canceled the order because they didnt have enough food to make the order and youll have to wait 3 days after you spent quite a bit of money to get refunded.... This was a waste of time. Placing an order at the restaurant takes long enough already but placing it online just means youll be waiting a longer time with the possibilty of never receiving it at all. Oh and you are told at the last minute that they cant make the food!!!!

Pricy menu but you get a good amount of food. The fries are extremely mediocre, but the chili fries are the bomb. Kids menu is basic, but you can add condiments. I added lettuce and tomato (I ordered pick up) yet the burger only had meat cheese and ketchup. So there s the not seeing the order correctly and screwing my kid over on his food that typically happens at places. Forgetting his milk. (Well my husband picked it up I placed the order so he should of seen that but they should of given it to him) definitely will not make this our place to go. Five guys or fuddruckers is better. However the menu has many options which is nice for variety. And like I said the chili fries were pretty good.

This was my first time eating at wayback burgers! It is a pricey menu so I won t go here as often as I would go to sonic. The menu is all over the place in my personal opinion. I love cheesesteak but this was was soggy, wet, no flavor, and I couldn t stomach it so I had to trash it. I was able to narrow down my favorites the burgers are 100% make me return! My daughter is a hamburger connoisseur she gave the burger a high rating! The chicken sandwich gave me life I loved the play on the bun being flipped. The chicken like the burger was prepared fresh which allows for quality tasting! The bacon cheddar fries were tasty it was way too much bacon and not enough cheese! I will definitely return!

It was not a good experience. Visiting my sister and we decided to try the restaurant. I ordered The Big Easy Burger and it was wrong. It was missing tomatoes, mushrooms, bacon. And they added grilled onions, and pickles to my burger which I did not order. I thought it was just my order they got wrong but my sisters order was wrong also. Called and the lady on the phone was so confused didnt know how to pull the order up and then said you can bring it back and we will fix if. If I wanted to leave the house for your restaurant mistake I wouldnt have ordered delivery and paid the fee. Which is the only thing we got a refund fot. Never Again!

Ive been hearing alot of ranting and raving about this place so I had to try it out. I made the drive and initially wasnt impressed. Their food doesnt com with a combo and its like 3.95 to get a medium drink and fries. I will have to say their fries are pretty good. Maybe putting a little more salt on them would spruce them up a little bit. The burger itself wasnt great either. I ended up getting the double bacon burger. It tasted just like you would expect a burger to. Beef and cheese with some lettuce, ketchup, mustard, and bacon. Nothing to write home about. Overall, id give it a solid 4/10 and wouldnt recommend unless people like paying for overpriced burgers you could make at home for half the price. Very average. But the owner seems like a nice lady so thats one redeeming quality

Order off of the app. I ordered an item that this location was out of. They offered something that cost less as an alternative but didnt refund any money. I orded the irish potatoes and they gave me tots instead but it didnt have any of the fixing on it like the irish potatoes. Very slow. Ordered take-out after we finished shopping at Walmart. I was expecting it to be another fast-food place but was shocked to see that everything was made fresh. We were one of the two orders they had and waited ~10-12 minutes for two meals. I ordered the cheesesteak which was delicious! I found it to be a bit too salty but my husband loved it. He ordered a double bacon burger and loved that as well. The fries were delicious and crispy but were salted a little too much.

floor was very slippery(mob/bucket near register greasy nasty water) ordered food took 25minutes for 2 hamburgers and fries. While I was waiting on food went to get my fountain drinks and water spit out all over customer booth next to fountain machine! Turns out carbonation pressure was low guy at counter told cashier adjust pressure she did and then tried again....still bad I gave up on drinks just got ice for pop had in car from road trip! Finally received food got to car and tried fries....salty!!!! Hamburgers no flavor bland very disappointed for $23 worth! was really looking forward to a good burger better off at Whataburger for that price!!!!

literally horrible. i was speaking to someone that made it seem like they were listening to me list my order .. whole time they had airpods in not listening to anything the girl had to come up so many times because he literally refused to be any help to anyone . also we re eating in , and our food is cold? yet took so long to bring it out lmao . my milkshake is milk do better man

I ordered food off Uber eats in advanced to be picked up later in the day. The Estimate time frame was 10:30-11. Get there food isn t ready neither is the two orders ahead of me. App shows it ready to be picked up, food isn t ready . Wait an extra 30 minutes. They also open at 8 so

If this had been my first time ever having Wayback I would never go to one again. This is the first time at this loction.I must say this place should not represent Wayback. The food was not hot and yet some how burned and the order was not right. The service here was horrible and yet rushed.

I love their burgers but the staff is rude, Zach to be specific. He was cool at the beginning and just the last couple of times, plain rude and makes inappropriate comments. I dont think Ill be going back to this location.

Do not order delivery from here, they make the drivers pour your drinks which is against health dept. rules. The food is good but beware of your drinks being poured by the delivery drivers, not sanitary for them to handle.

Honestly the food is overpriced there are no combos have to order separately for everything. Chicken tenders are laughable for the price. They were rubbery. Fries were good. Burger is nothing special it just tastes like any old in n out burger. We did find a piece of hair in one of the burgers so that was gross. Overall Im not going back to the place. Where the price can get me double or even triple the food items at another fast food restaurant

Meh, nothing special. We ordered the rodeo burger and a bacon burger. I found one itty bitty tiny piece of bacon on my burger that I couldnt even taste. We also werent given the sauces with our fries that we ordered. The burger itself had a good flavor but honestly nothing Id get again. Theres definitely better burger places around.

This place is beyond ghetto. No one said hello when we walked in and after looking at the menu for 5 minutes we are standing there waiting to be served and the workers are standing at the register on the phone not speaking to the customers that they clearly see but trying to figure out who can be on the register because the cashier has an emergency. It would of made too much sense to take care of your customers before you left seeing as there was no one else there to help us. So after driving across town to try this place out for the first time my brother and I did not get to try this place out and will not be coming back because although the business was open no one was smart enough to be able to take an order. I hate piss poor service.

Ordered online and it gave me a 30 minute wait time, no problem except when I arrived I spent an additional 30 minutes waiting for my order. The manager and host was too bush talking about the other staff members and how she was going to mess with the employees schedule and not let her have off Fridays in order to pay her back to make our order. I say there for 15 minutes before they even began the order. That was 15 minutes on top of the 30 minute quote time. The manager is always in an extremely bad mood. It s always a long wait at this location whether they have three tickets or none. I am a general manager at a fast casual dining establishment and if we ever conducted ourselves this way I would be looking for a new job. You would think in this time of everyone being unemployed she would be a little more grateful to still be employed. I understand restaurant life is hard but it s what we choose to do and it s never the guests fault for ordering from us.

I went in 2 days ago and The person on the grill( Ms. Glenda) was fast, I NVR got my order that fast before,,,,,, THE CHEESY BURGER WAS PERFECT AND DELICIOUS, What I noticed also was she was looking over the lady shoulder taking my order and she was already making my order before she got the ticket I ve usually have waited 10to15 minutes this was by far the best service and faster service I have received I will be coming back more often now for this type of service. I WILL BE RECOMMENDING MORE FRIENDS

It s an average burger place and nothing special. Edited review 02/18/20, went back and ordered some chicken strips and other food. I sat there for 20 minutes at least to be told the strips wouldn t come out right and had to get my money back. I look at the fryers and told the lady the reason the fried foods aren t coming out right is because you need to change the fryer oil!!!!! You lost a customer today and I will not be coming back.

The hamburgers are but my husband went there 2 times for biscuits and gravy and they dont know how to make it and its on the menu, he got breakfast bowl 2 different days and both were different one was with peppers and given to us on a aluminium foil the next day it is in a cup. Please how to make your food right. Disappointed
