Everytime my family and I have gone to this park it has been a good experience. Very family friendly. The city maintains it good. Playground: Huge playground areas for kids to play. From climb and slide to swings. Toilets: For as big as the park is to have the bathrooms may be central it is still a good distance to suggest to monitor your children Picnic area: Plenty areas to picnic with family.

Best in the area, the park is just perfect size for families with small children or multiple children. You could see across the park, it has slides and diving board, picnic tables overlooking the pool, big umbrellas, lots of Adirondack chairs. It has shower/rinse feet area. It is fenced in and surrounded by green although itnis close to the road access. parking is plenty. lifeguards are always present and attentive. First aid desk was helpful and attentive. The concessions has tons of options for food, snacks and drinks but i would rather bring my apples and grapes and gogurts. I wish it could be cheaper, wish the food would be allowed with a fee since people leave MESS and trash after themselves. My family loves it there. The bathrooms, not so much. They are usable but not that pleasant. It does has soap and running water but toilet paper is a hit or miss. Playground: Playground in the middle ofbthe pool, with lots of water features , slides. it is safe enough for little ones but also big enough to stay close to your kid and mot be stuck in a slide. Toilets: Restrooms are present but not pleasant. Just small, dark, missing toilet paper . Picnic area: present, plenty, covered with umbrellas, spread , close to the pool to watch your kids without a worry.

Went on a busy Saturday in July while visiting from Georgia. I mentioned to my daughter how friendly the staff and lifeguards were, and without being abusive kept everyone safe and having a good time. Im almost 70 and went down one waterslide. It was exhilarating, but once was enough for me. The pool was more comfortable for me and sparkling clean, as well as the grounds, chairs and tables. Great place to visit and cool down. The Lions Club Waterpark is awesome! The kids love it. Its a nice spot and close to home, so I love it! You can pay per person for entry, or you can pay membership dues for access. The whole grounds of the Lions Club are awesome!

The concept of this place is really nice! I loved the splash pad and the open area for the kids to play, explore, and swim. However, there s so many areas that need improvement. First of all they don t allow you to bring in food and snacks but allow you to pay an arm and a leg for the food and snacks that they provide. Also, be prepared to wait in line in the hot sun while everyone s orders are being taken and prepared even though the hot food is literally cheap frozen food that s been reheated. Second, when the lifeguards need to take breaks they shut the entire area down and you are forced to wait until break is over to resume swimming. I understand staff need breaks but interval breaks would be so much better and allow people/adults to continue swimming. Third, in the pool areas you are not allowed to swim in the deep end, you are allowed to dive and then you must either get out of the pool or swim to the shallow end, what sense does that make? So when you go it s just a cluster of people swimming in half of the pool which just looks ridiculous. Fourth, there is not enough seating especially in shaded areas so be prepared for you and your family to burn in the hot sun. In my opinion, none of this is worth the $10+ entry fee and the hassle.

The park overall is great! The only disappointing thing here which as a parent is a concerned to me is that the Men bathroom toilets have no doors. This is a place where there is kids running around everywhere. Boys that like to go use the bathroom on their own or need to poop. And given this is a public place, that means there is a chance perpetrators walk amongst us in the park as well. And having the boys bathroom have no doors where little boys are exposed if they are using the toilet to anyone who walks in the mens bathroom is disgusting and disturbing as a parent. You will think the city will prioritize kids safety and do something to rectify this. But given that bathroom been like that for years, kids safety and privacy is not a concern for leaders in this community.

We drove here from Houston to see the solar eclipse. For $40.00, we had a guaranteed parking space, a spot on the soccer field to place our chairs and blanket, 4 hot dog lunches (hot dog, chips, and a 12oz. soft drink), and a swag bag! It was great!

Came here with my unit from on base for a fun sports day. The park was completely empty but we were kicked off a field because that s where the kids soccer teams play. They were not currently playing or even playing today at all. Was told that every field with a fence around it could not be used. Huge, has bathrooms and is very populated. Brought the kiddos here to play and make friends, beware of the ice cream truck that stalks the parking lot, the kids will never stop asking for ice cream. Its a good play place with fields,playgrounds for various age groups and a water park. I like that It has different types of play areas with shades. They are separated play areas, the way the are may be good, but it is hard to follow your kid running out from one to other. They need to put a fence for covering all area, tables are next to the parking spaces are super dirty with melted ice cream, trash cans are full, flies around right next to the them. Family atmosphere. Very clean and a playground where the kids can play safely. I love the walking the well paved track that surrounds the park. Plenty of parking for your car, trucks , even bigger size trucks. The seating area have shade covering and there s many trash cans for disposal of trash. The peoples I ve meet there are friendly. A great park to relax, walk,exercise, enjoy family or to share a simple conversation. Also they have a great size basketball fullcourt Playground: Big and safe playground, so kids can run around, swing, throw ball etc! Toilets: Restrooms are very clean. Proper sanitizer , hands soap and air hand dryer + paper towels.. Dog-friendliness: Pet friendly and plenty of room for all pets to run and play.. The staff is friendly. The gym never really seems that packed, although you do have to wait on a machine every now and then. Facilities are clean. Great options for cardio, weights, various sports, etc. Had loads of outdoor activities for kids and a senior center too. Excellent park.

Nice clean park with a 1 mile long walking path. The path is a bit narrow for riding bicycles with walkers IMO. Toilets: Looked new. Everything was clean and painted surfaces looked fresh. Dog-friendliness: Nice big area for dogs. Picnic area: There is a covered pavilion and benches throughout the park. It was nice to see several people playing disc golf.

Killeen city workers are the worst, especially on recreational games a this park. This lady Natalia shes looking for people who is making comments about a bad ref or coach or parents. She spend her time hearing behind people or hunting . She deprived our rights to us about talking about games and she not even penalized people who bring small dogs to the park and people who was vaping around us. On top of that some parents known about players playing diferents teams and little kids 7-8 play against 10-11 years old wich means those kids already know how to play bc they were in academy around here. The other team half ofthe team they never play soccer this summer season was their first time. In the beginning they say they fpinfto separate who knows soccer just to be fair but no. They not even checking the ages or a player who plays many games! Be aware the kids ha e fun but the people here are nasty and the ref sometimes atr to old that they can see what is happening!

Ohh hows a lions club. Im used to be swimming at by long time ago . Im was camping in Killeen Texas. Or at Fort hood. But itd theyd charge it. On me Id fought for my dining mess hall with army cooks working at out post fort cavosoz .yes lions club is good just like in Harker heights. Im camping night sleep my energy exercises cardio biking.
