I usually get any of their combo meals which come with egg roll, meat sticks or bbq and your main dish. Their Lo-mein use to be excellent but they must have different cook and sometimes its hit or miss. But overall one of the best Chinese places in town. Place is wheelchair accessible however the restroom is not.

Dont order during peak times otherwise anticipate warmed up food. Smaller portions and dried out food is what we got , ordered late in the evening and we got fresh stuff. Eating out is already expensive, make food to order and patrons will keep coming back.

Theyre still not letting people dine in. Covid is over. Thats ridiculous. Anyways, I did an order pick up. I got lemon chicken. The chicken was DRY AND OLD. super dark and not edible. I threw it out. I didnt want to get sick. The chicken wings were good. The egg drop soup was good. The rice was good. My son got fries and they put ketchup in a little coke baggie. Ive never seen any restaurant do ketchup that way my husband got egg foo young. He said it was okay. My chicken was unacceptable and not edible. And for $47 it should have been better. We probably wouldnt order again :(

This is the worst Chinese food Ive had in a long time. I ordered jalapeno chicken with lo mein and an egg roll. My food was bland and colorless. All I could see was a flavorless broth and oil sitting in the bottom of my plate. The egg roll was overcooked as well as the chicken. I had to go buy some type of sauce just to add flavor so I could eat it.

The only restaurant open during Friday before NYE and had great service from the front desk woman and the young lady server they were so sweet and I must say the fried rice was on point never had the beef sausage in fried rice but that rainbow fried rice was hitting ... I don t really understand the low reviews on this place, I don t go to a cheap Chinese place looking for a five star meal. But at the price for the lunch specials this place seems perfect decent. My family used to love their food, but the past few times the quality has dropped. Last night was the last time for us, my wife and I have had stomach aches, vomiting and explosive diarrhea all day long!!!!! Unfortunately after we ate we found dead cockroaches in the takeout bag under the sauces. If we saw them first we NEVER would have eaten a bite! I called to complain and the man who said he was the owner said My food very good. You no get sick from my food. See you next time Who the **** talks to a customer like that?!?!! Especially after what I told him unless you want cockroach sickness, do not eat here

Yesterday we got take out from here. 6 to 7 hours later....I had cramps, diarrhea and vomiting. I had the Mongolian beef combination 5 plate with pork fried rice. I spent $74 for 5 meals. I knew we should have not eaten here again after finding a dead roach in our bag with the egg roll sauces a few months back. I wont eat here again after this experience. Never!!

Unfortunately the food had no flavor, the egg rolls tasted old and so did the rice. We had ordered four different meals and they were all bad. We ordered the crab ragoons and they had nothing in them but cream cheese. We also ordered chow mein and there were no noodles in the order. We will not order from them again.

Run Away! My absolute worst restaurant experience ever. My meal was missing items, grossly overcooked noodles, and terribly under seasoned meat. To add insult to injury while speaking to the manager of the restaurant with my concerns I was greeted with an aggressive attitude and laughed at. The lady then told me well if you don t like our food you eat somewhere else next time . My reply: Thank-you for your honesty. I do not recommend this facility to anyone who values respectful professional service.

This was supposed to be garlic wings this was horrible so was everything else we ordered we called and they told us to come back and get garlic wings which were still not correct everything tasted old even the sauce tasted like it was being stored in an old cupboard we ordered combination fried rice which was burnt and had no shrimp , orange chicken which was cold and clumpy and looked like pork fat and the chicken was clearly something they reheated it was super dry and the wings we re dark brown the Actual meat was opaque which showed that it was cooked then refried I ve plead bought from this place but this was my last time. Got the orange chicken, shrimp and chicken, Chinese pork fried rice, and crab Rangoons and they were all delicious. Rangoons could use more filling but I think I m just greedy when it comes to that filling lol. Will definitely be back!! I travel a lot, all over the USA for work. I eat at a lot of different Chinese restaurants. This has been, by far, the best chicken fried rice that I ve had since I worked at one at the age of 18, and i m 50 now. The portion vs. price ratio was outstanding! They served me spoiled Mongolian beef. I ordered through DoorDash and when I opened my food it had a strong smell of ammonia. You should be ashamed. I have ordered this multiple times and each time the vegetables are fresh and the meat is brown. This time the onions were yellow and mushy and the meat had a pink color which means you knew it was old when you put it in the bag.

We decided to try hunan again even though we didn t like it a few years ago. Our favorite place got taken over by new owners and we hate it now so we tried Hunan. They actually blew us away this time. The chicken lo mein was perfect and the sweet and sour chicken had large portions. They made egg drop soup the way it should be and the veggie egg rolls were exactly as I had hoped. We got double orders of everything to feed our family of 6 and it was only $50. I m impressed with the quality for the price and we will definitely order again real soon.

Called in for take out of 2 orders. Answered promptly but the person I spoke to was talking too fast so it was hard to understand. Nevertheless, got to place my order and went to pick it up base on the time line she gave me. When I got to the restaurant we went over the order to ensure it was correct and it was. When I got home to eat with my wife thats when we try the food. Cold, nasty flavor and the fried rice didnt had the ingredients that you will normally find on fried rice; meat, fried eggs, peas, etc. The rice tasted undercooked and like it was mix with older rice. The pepper steak had little flavor and the chicken tasted and looked more as the McDonalds chicken nuggets. Having an issue while placing the order I decided not to bother calling them back and complain, so I threw the food away and ordered Dominos Pizza. Will never go or purchase food from them again.

I decided to go in person to Hunan to order the chicken chow mein with the white sauce and the fried rice. Yall forgot my crispy noodles which is what l always look forward to eating with my meal. And yall put it in those styrofoam containers which leak everywhere. But it seems when l order from door dash they put everything in a nice round plastic container and give me plenty of noodles and condiments. I love the egg rolls usually nice and meaty but this time around it was more veggies then meat in them. Bit disappointed. They orange chicken and beef and broccoli were good helping. They practicing social distancing very well... so you can only pick up food.

This restaurant has been around over 30 years - proof they have stood the test of time AND they havent changed their recipes and gone the lazy route. We have been dining here for years and have never once had a bad experience with dine-in service or to-go orders. We live in the Temple/Belton area (20+ miles away) which has five or six local Chinese restaurants but we still drive to Killeen just to eat Hunans food. Its always so good that when were finished dining in, we always order additional food to go for the next few days to enjoy at home. The service is always great, the food is always super fresh and hot, the prices are very reasonable, the portions are large, the servers and hostess(es) are always so friendly, its nice and quiet, and I actually like the fact that the interior hasnt updated too much. It has a very nostalgic atmosphere and hearkens back to when we used eat there in the 90s when I was a teenager. Its comforting to me that not much has changed and I LOVE that they havent converted to a generic, low quality buffet like most other Chinese restaurants have done. Same Hunans, same awesome food.
