Great place to dress up and enjoy a beautiful sunset on the water. The food is top notch and the staff is friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable. The steak dinner is a favorite of mine and always cooked to perfection. The drinks are delicious and made expertly by a very friendly bar staff. Vegetarian options: The menu has vegetarian options. Parking: Come early to find parking and pack your patience!

Food is always good, but the service has consistently been poor (I ve been given gift cards that I needed to use). None of my waiters/waitresses have been attentive, the wait for food has been ridiculous, and the alcohol beverages have basically zero alcohol (I m not exaggerating - I thought they accidentally made it virgin). On one occasion, they didn t even bring me my cake or coffee for 20 minutes so I had them take it off the check. Overall, not worth the annoyance, there are plenty of other places.

We went to Landry s on Labor Day and surprisingly it was not packed. The receptionist said there was a 20-minute wait so this was when I realized that my husband was actually a Landry s member, so I excitedly reminded him to mention that since I read that one of the perks of being a member is skipping the line (but there was also no line and maybe because it was at 4:30 PM?). The male receptionist nonchalantly asked for the phone number and didn t say anything back afterwards. While waiting, another customer came and asked the receptionist if they had fried fish. The receptionist said yes but asked the customer again if it was raw or cooked fish she was referring to. The customer who was obviously struggling to speak in English had a hard time responding so the receptionist called his co-worker. The customer politely responded with fish and the 2 receptionists looked at each other and laughed. First off, if someone says, fried fish , common sense should tell you it s cooked fish. I didn t understand the need to verify if it was cooked or uncooked. Imagine having difficulty communicating in English and being laughed at in return. I hope Landry s will train their receptionists how to handle customers better instead of being outright rude. By the way, we had to wait 20 minutes which is normally ok whether you re a member or not if it s a busy time. But it was just so disappointing to walk to our table 20 minutes later and see so many empty tables around, after witnessing the receptionists being disrespectful to another customer. If it wasn t for the waiter who was very attentive, I would not even rate 2 stars for the service. Pls promote your waiter and replace your receptionists (or retrain them).

Kemah is not my idea of a good time. It is NOT disability friendly. And neither is Landrys which I guess shouldnt be a surprise. Giant restaurant has ONE handicap/family bathroom. The whole time I was using the bathroom, a mother and child was waiting. I felt for them because I was having difficulty. First I had to wait for them to get toilet paper since the bathroom was out. Then I get into the bathroom and realize one of the dispensers is right at my knee. Trying to wipe and avoid the edges of the dispenser resulted in me taking way too long and getting hurt. I still have a huge bruise and its been two days now. (See photo.) The food was okay. Not seasoned much and very expensive for what you get. The service was exemplary, however. We wont ever be back. Thats not a threat, its just real life. I have no reason to ever suffer thru visiting Kemah again. And the seafood is better at Bennos in Galveston.

Very rude and condescending people. They would not seat us near the window even though the place was half empty with plenty of seats. The offered to seat us next to a pole that blocks our view in the end. Are they really racist here or just pure stupid? It is hard to figure out in Kkk territory of Kemah. My sister and I ate there late in the evening. We wanted something light so I love the French bread topped with crawfish sauce and talk about good. She had some fried shrimp bites with a beer. I had a peach drink that is always good. We also had the bread pudding and it s to die for. I live in Cozumel and they just don t have the food and service like this there so it s a treat for me. It is pricey but love the professional staff and atmosphere and cleanliness. We were the last to leave and they are so nice always!!!! Parking: We parked far away on the street, it was late and low season. I do like to walk so it s ok.

Very disappointed 2nd time going in a wk First time was pleasant with the exception of waitress taking my bowl as I had my spoon still eating she was such in a rush she was not paying attention. Food was great manager asked if we were okay with sitting area as she heard me request another table but decided to stay where we were sitted. 2 nd visit was only because we wanted to try the sea bass, ordered drinks and very disappointed looked nothing like the menu no garnishes Asked the waitress about it she stayed they where out of mint. Understandable, order another drink lavender should have had a twist of lime asked the waitress. She said she would check then comes back to our table with the bar tender with the lemon peels so uncalled for. After looking at the bar tenders hands as she touch our lemons was so disgusted. If your handling food you should have clean hands they were terribly dirty. Totally messed up my meal. We dont mind paying $200 for a meal we do it often thats our treat after a long day of work. But what happened to customer service????

I made reservations here for a birthday and anniversary celebration. The atmosphere and the food was great. The reason I gave e 4 stars is because the waitress did not bring out our desserts with a candle or any type of celebration for our special occasion like I thought they would (yes I made her aware before ordering the dessert). I was disappointed but nonetheless, I would visit again. I really wanted to give 5 stars but I subtracted a star since the celebratory piece was not initiated for our birthdays/anniversary occasion.

My husband and I decided to come and try this place while visiting Khema. We went off-season when its cold, so there werent many people but the service was still excellent. We ordered everything, from appetizers, to main course, dessert, and drinks. When I tell you that every single item that we got was absolutely delicious. I think my most favorite item was the creme brulee, it was the perfect dessert to end the night with.

I took my (new) fiancé here with 2 of our friends for her birthday. Let me start by saying this, I can understand when 4 younger people walk into a restaurant most staff are quick to assume they will not tip well if they do at all, but I cannot understand giving them subpar service just off that assumption. We all walked in dressed nicely yet still after being seated had to wait about 10 mins before anyone came to talk to us, a group of servers were standing In the corner when our server finally did come over it was like she was just angry she had to take our table, she had a very short tone, and a very disdained look on her face. And that was when we even saw her, it was like if she wasn t bringing something we ordered we couldn t even see her, we had a pretty clear view of the entire restaurant and still it was like she would just disappear. When the check came it had totaled out to about 136.54, usually on a check like that I would tip 25 dollars, but because of the bad service I left just enough of a tip to cover taking up her table. The sad part is I had a ring box in my pocket and was proposing shortly after dinner. Which is what makes me just even more irritated with the restraunt. Because a nice place wanting to charge that much for mediocre food should be able to GUARANTEE good service to all patrons, because now the day my future wife and I got engaged will forever have a memory of terrible service at an overpriced restaurant

Very attentive staff! Our server was Bryan A who did an excellent job. He addressed each and every one of us very politely and made sure to pay attention to every detail. When we were about to leave, he offered for us to-go drinks and remembered that my mom had asked for a lemon in her water earlier. The food was great. We were seating with a nice view of the Kemah channel as it opens to the bay. I had a refreshing hurricane which was beautiful and delicious. Partner got a Fancy Long Island. Then we were brought a small loaf of buttered bread while we waited for the oyster bar trash appetizer, which would make a nice small meal itself, lump crab meat, shrimp, and rice in a lively butter sauce. This dish made me think of New Orleans cuisine. For the main, I had almond encrusted mahi mahi. It was beautifully presented and boasted my favorite favors. The avocado really elevated it. Partner had snapper with the Pontchartrain toppings, which are always excellent. Our server was attentive and kept us happy. Parking: The garage parking is the same as the lot, a hefty $25.

This was my first time at Landry s and I loved it. The wait time was short, and we got an area we requested to be by the window near the water so the view was beautiful. The food looked and smelled delicious and taste just as good. It was also plenty for so you got your moneys worth. The variety on the menu was wide. I was only disappointed that the new dessert the blueberry butter cake was out; I was really looking forward to trying it. The Weight staff was wonderful, the young lady was training the new young man, and they both were great!

Family came for birthday reservation but quickly discovered this location is NOT wheelchair accessible. Which is very disappointing because our birthday girl could access her table to view the gulf because they do not have a wheel chair ramp. We had to wait over 40 mins for a new table. Living in 2024 every establishment should be wheelchair accessible. However, they did have a handicap/wheelchair accessible restroom. Wheelchair accessibility: They are NOT wheelchair accessible within the restaurant. They have stairs and ramp to access the sitting thats by the window

Food was great but our waiter was so rude. Did not catch his name but he slicks his hair back. We don t allow our kids to drink so much soda and aren t allowed refills so our 2 kids were gonna share a drink and I was gonna share with my 6 year old, he told us no, that it was not an all you can eat buffet and he couldn t be bringing refills to them the whole time. I on the other hand am not rude enough to tell him not to bring refills to my kids even thought they aren t allowed to drink so much. We still left him a 20% tip even after he forgot to bring my son s steak. He realized he didn t bring his steak 10 minutes after the rest of our food was already out. Then says his steak was overcooked so it would take another 5 minutes which turned into 10. They comped our appetizer which was fine. As always the banana foster is delicious.

Great place to visit when near the boardwalk.the lobster tail caught my attention and I was not disappointed. I never had a tail of that size and it was very filling. The mash potatoes came with bacon and cheddar cheese which was my first time and the flavor was incredible. The pineapple margarita was unique and exquisite of flavor. I had a really weird experience here last month. I have been going to Landry s for years (and have previously liked the service / food) but this last time around was horrible. The night manager seemed to be on some type of drug. I asked for gluten free options, they had no idea what I was talking about. What happened to the gluten free menus? Also, I was served food with gluten. Manager was argumentative when I confronted them about this. Overall, not a good experience. Maybe the employees hate working here now? I received a lot of unwelcome vibes from the staff. Also, I sent in a complaint to Landry s, still haven t heard back. So if you have feedback for Landry s, it s pretty much useless to contact them. At this point, I m more inclined to say, skip Landry s. Go some place where they actually care about the experience their guests have.

The service and food were exceptional. We had one mixed drink, it was a tad strong for our liking but still had an awesome taste. Our waiter told us that that we waited longer than necessary for our appetizer, we really didn t notice much of a wait, but because of that they gave us a free appetizer. Our waiter (Brian) did a phenomenal job of keeping something on the table and making sure we were taken care of. He was the real shining star of this place. We haven t been hear in a long time because I do not care to pay for parking and the large crowds. We had free parking driving through on a beautiful day. We sat at the bar and Cody made our experience a great one. I showed us the new spring menu with a couple items that sounded wonderful. Also showed us happy hour menu but we were too early. We stayed with old faithful items. Food I gave 4 out of 5. My wife was happy with her salmon although just so-so . She had it seared. I had the bang bang shrimp as I was not that hungry. It was great, love the sauce, love the tempura batter. I wish there was just a little less batter. May just be my preference. I want to make public announcement for all. GET THE MAI TAI!!!! You will not be disappointed. I will be back!!! I had not used my Landry s card in forever and was disappointed to find that the points expire. I was really just glad I did not get charged to park.

Soo disappointed I loved my waiter and my appetizers then had to go to the bathroom well we all (ladies) waited for about 20 minutes for it to reopen assible line was long. I visited here on a Thursday around 11:30am. During this time, we were greeted promptly and walked us to the outdoor seating since I requested to sit outside on the boardwalk. It was my girlfriends birthday weekend and her first time ever on the boardwalk. Yesterday evening, Thursday March 28th, she spotted Landrys and was really excited because she heard great things about the restaurant. We wanted to order some appetizers but it was hard to get his attention. His focus was on other tables near the bar but not us. Someone else who appeared to be a manager also spent a little time at the bar and he also refused to check on us. We decided we had enough, ask for our check, paid the tab and left. As we were leaving, he looked at us but said nothing. By the way, the mans description, medium height and he had a curly mustache much like the dude on the Pringles box. Needless to say, we are never going to step foot in a Landrys establishment again. We decided to go to Tookies down the highway and the service was night and day. We loved it and the food was excellent. Suggestion to management, you need to get rid of this bartender, hes going to hurt your business in the long run and hes going to run your customers off. We were all set to run up a nice tab but I suppose our money wasnt good enough for you

Overall the entire restaurant was behind, customers all seemed hungry and upset. Bartenders were setting tables. Let me just clarify that the restaurant was not full. Was in town visiting my friend and we decided to have some dinner outdoors and this place seemed nice. We were greeted by a fairly nice waitress but the type to blame everyone but them type of lady. Appetizer was yummy, drinks were great! We both ordered the stuffed salmon and had just started when i found a piece of beard hair (or so i hope!) in the stuffing. Since the waitress disappeared we told the hostess who sent a manager to remove it and said he would send the waitress to get a different order . She showed up to give us the bill without the comped meal and it was just an all around ruined visit. No communication between them, and the gross find it was just bad. $130 for 1 meal 3 drinks and an appetizer. Would not recommend unless you are just gonna grab a drink and enjoy the scenery.

Spring Break 2024, Let me start by saying the restrooms are way too small, no toilet paper or paper towels in the restrooms. A lady in a wheelchair couldnt even access the handicap restroom, Im sure theres a code for how big the restroom needs to be. We are seated at our table, the waitress took forever to take our order of appetizers. Then, some people walked in from the deck side and sat themselves. Our appetizers were given to those other peoples table which didnt order those appetizers and they gladly ate it. Another waitress came over and had to apologize. Our waitress was getting fussed for not doing her job. Appetizers finally come out, another waitress brought it out. Then, our waitress comes out with an appetizer that we didnt order and was gonna give it to us. I said no, we didnt order that. This experience will have me going somewhere else. I wont eat here again. Food was ok, it could be better. I hope this helps anyone in the future. Wheelchair accessibility: The handicap restroom doesnt have enough room for someone in a wheelchair.

For being a nicer restaurant, this experience was super disappointing. We were seated 30 minutes after our reservation, the waitress kept forgetting about us, she d say be right back and then wouldn t come back, food took about an hour, she also forgot (admittedly) to put in part of my order and the food was unimpressive. Mashed potatoes were dry and lacked flavor and that s a basic side dish. Best part about the seafood was the side salad. Atmosphere is super loud. Not sure if they bank on tourist money and lack quality because they re just tourists, but I brought my parents here to treat them and it was a terrible experience. Save your money and go to Tookies.

We had a table next to the window and enjoyed waterfront views. Our server recommended a nice starter and drink. We each got something from the house specialties menu with a salad. The food was very good and the plating was presented nicer than expected. Food delivery was well timed, and we didnt wait long for anything to come out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Over all our experience was okay, but not great. Our waiter was very nice and patient for our large group, and the hostess was also very nice. We had a group of 15 so our server was great, but we were also one of the only few parties in there. I had the fried zuchini, and it was good! I wish they had more vegetarian/kosher options for appetizers. I had the cedar plank salmon and it was okay. Not the best Ive had, and especially wasnt worth the price. It was seasoned okay, and the sauce was too sweet. The mashed potatoes did not taste fresh. Over all it was an okay experience mainly for the food.

My friends and I walked out after waiting 40 mins for our reservation. The hostess and mgr was extremely rude. We sat at the bar to wait and observed 10-15 tables open. However, they cane back to say they couldn t accommodate us. Terrible service. Almost humiliating as we waited 30-40 min with no fuss. When they came back the treatment was rude and dismissive. Anniversary date in Landry s was great. Drinks came quick Hennessy and a Crossings Sauvignon Blanc. Next delicious fire grilled and Rockefeller oysters to open appetite. But our main entrees was so disappointing....we had the blackened red fish and the coastal seafood pasta. Both was so bland....shimps over cooked, they served instant mash potatoes, and the Alfredo sauce that they brought to me to help give the seafood pasta flavor, was bland too...the staff and manager did try their best to compensate but by then we wanted go get something else because we were so hungry. I loved everything about my meal here 4pm ish on a lovely October Sunday. I was seated outside on the Boardwalk as the weather was gorgeous. My waitress Chris was great, very personable, so I gave her the choice of which entree to bring me and she choose their seasonal scallop dish with a creamy corn sauce and man they were large, flavourful and well seared. Personally, I wouldnt have cut the scallops in half like they did but that would be the only fault with the dish. I started with the pear, beet and blue cheese salad and that was pretty good too though could have used more beets. The sparkling rose they have was perfect with my meal. Sitting next to the water was a treat. Would definitely return.
