In all honesty, when my wife that she wanted to bring me to an Organic Foods Sports Bar, I almost lost my s***, but a drink and 3 meals later, I m pleased to say that I did not. I m not going into the ambiance cause it s not really a concern of mine when going to a sports bar, so let s get down to it shall we? The food and the service. Our server Ro is irreplaceable. Not only were her opinions on the food honest, they were spot on. She swore on her life about the shrimp tacos and dammit I d be a liar if I didn t tell you that I attempted to trade-in my wife for a second order of free tacos. The wings? Go Buffalo (Another Ro pick btw) Pizza? I went Garden minus olives and artichokes. After I was forced to unbuckle my pants to make room for another drink, overhear the wife asking about desserts. At this point, f*** it. I m 2 meals in and working my way through the third, let s do this which leads us to the dopest Manager I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. MJ, while the conversation was brief, her professionalism and genuine love for her customers shined through and through. I damn near want to work for her myself. Either way. Come through order some Shrimp Tacos and enjoy your stay. I promise you will!!!!

Food was fresh and great tasting. The service was a bit slower than should be.. It took a while to just get silverware and napkin and was told that they had used up all the silverware and had to roll them as they got out of the washer.. Only problem was that there were at least 6 tables empty with rolled silverware on the table?? Why not just grab one of those and give to us and then put the new ones on the empty table. Im going to chalk it up as inexperienced wait staff. Overall, if you want a cool place to hang, watch a ballgame and get some good tasting organic food . Check it out.

We had a horrible experience! The server was NOT friendly at all! She was so rude when taking our drink order and even more rude taking our food order. The burgers were all mixed up. My children ate a raw patty (which was supposed to be well done). My kids got sick from the meat. The manager only offered free dessert to correct the mistake. The server never refilled our drinks or asked if we needed anything else (she only came when I had to get her to tell her about the wrong orders). The next time she showed up was to bring us boxes and the check. We had a large party, and if she couldnt handle it, she should have asked for help. This is extremely poor service for this scale of restaurant. I would not recommend it at all.

I only gave four stars instead of five because this is 2024 and this place doesn t have high chairs booster seats slings nothing at all for small children. There is so many families that eat here and it would make all our lives a lot more convenient. Maybe one day they will finally get some. So, this was a first, Alfredo sauce made with a yellow cheese. Though the portion was generous, the sauce was not tasty. The Cowbot Skillet was good and also was a generous portion. The pancake was very tasty as was the Texas Toast French toast. Service was stellar and the atmosphere was that of a typical sports bar. Would go back and try again.

The whole experience was terrible. Food was not very good and expensive. The service was absent majority of the meal. The napkins were soaking wet and made a splat sound when they hit the table. AMAZING! A wonderful experience all around! I will say our waiter did seal the deal for us though. Q was the most genuine, outgoing, attentive, personable waiter we have had! Let me say, a healthy sports bar is such a creative and much needed concept. I love organic and healthy food and the options here were amazing. I ordered the Brussels sprouts with a strawberry glaze and shrimp tacos. The tacos were the best I ve ever had and the Brussels sprouts were to die for The mocktails weren t the best I ve had but there are several on the menu, so that was refreshing as I don t drink. Service was great and the ambience was relaxing and upscale. Love this spot!

My wife and come to The Kirb as we call it about once a week. And oh how we love it there. It has indeed become part of our community. Great food, wonderful ambiance and superior people make for quite an environment of joy. Our children also love it there and are frequent visitors. Q always takes care of us when we come to the The Kirb. He ever greets us with a smile and an embrace and already has the drinks on the way. My husband and I are regulars here. I never thought I would enjoy going to a sports bar so much, but OTK Katy is like no other, serving organic food, including grass fed beef. The food is delicious, thanks to amazing Chef Ingrid who always cooks everything to perfection. We went here for dinner last night and Ally took care of us. We had excellent service and the pizza crust was very good, it was this delicious blend of buttery garlic. One person at our table ordered the salmon medium rare but it came out more well done. Ally was very gracious regarding the kitchen error and took it back for a redo. The manager came to check on us, I assume a kitchen send back comes standard with a manger visit to check that everything is okay, and it was. Anyway, food was great and Ally really took care of us. We ve given this place double-digit chances. The service is awful. Servers do not check in after food is delivered. The servers also talk quite a bit and don t listen to orders. This is a solid sports bar AND restaurant. I say that because the menu and the food are better than you would find at your average Houston sports bar, and the bar itself is also inviting. The staff are lovely, and the patio is clearly made for brunch! There are well-placed televisions everywhere. The hamburgers and truffle fries were fantastic! Their regular fries are also seasoned. Including alcoholic drinks and tips, we spent just under 100 dollars. Also, they do have gluten-free buns. Come give it a shot - this organic eatery is a winner! Im writing this review because I have had such good experiences here except for my last trip. I sat at the bar and was served by a young lady that provided the worst bartebding experience Ive ever had. I waited for nearly 20 minutes before being greeted by her so I quickly ordered my drink and food at the same time. I finished my drink before the food came out and she didnt ask me if I wanted another until she brought the food and she never gave me silverware. She eventually brought me the check and I quickly placed my card in the folder yet she didnt take it for 15 minutes due to entertaining the gentleman seated next to me. First of all, who sells pizza without cheese??? I ordered a vegan pizza, and although I was aware of the add ons, I was not aware that I had to add cheese to my pizza when I ordered it. I expressed this to the server and she did not offer to bring it back. I didnt eat the pizza, and ordered a side of quinoa salad... this salad had oil I poured out of the little bowl...again, I didnt eat it. The server realized I didnt eat the pizza, and she didnt care. She came with the probable machine to collect the money...MONEY WASTED! The flies outside were crazy as well. At the beggining I thought that the service was good, but when we got the bill, we saw that was pushy to incentive to spend more and more money. They offered a lot of extras with everything we asked without mentioning the extra cost of those things, not once, all night long. My friend payed $60 just for tacos and 2 drinks at a simple nice bar, seriously??

Another completely rubbish experience. The server was again disinterested and poor. 25 minutes to get drinks after ordering when it wasn t busy and then the beer tasted like vinegar. Until tonight, we were regular visitors every Friday night but now we will take out custom elsewhere.

The food is great, the prices are great, the atmosphere is great! So why the 3 stars and not 5? 1. They don t give you an itemized bill before you pay. The server comes around with a handheld device and quickly scrolls by the itemized menu and goes straight to the payment. NOTE: after you pay, ask for an itemized receipt. I ve noticed a mistake on the bill both times I ve gone. My wife has gone once with her friends and had the same issue. So 3 for 3. 2. I HATE with a passion paying and having to leave a tip on the handheld with the server watching my every move - pressuring you to pay a high tip. I HATE this so much. Vegetarian options: It s the standard foods that are veg. You can modify things as needed.

The restaurant itself is great looking, but the food is just kind of average. For the quality of the food it s a little overpriced for what you get. I got a basic pepperoni pizza and it was just alright, however their chips and queso is pretty good. Those two things I ordered cost 30 dollars.

Food and staff were excellent. They took great care of the party of people who I was with. Giant pretzel was so good. All appetizers were top notch. There pizza was made fresh right in front of us. I had the shrimp tacos and will definitely be getting them again. Great place to watch sports with giant screen and many TVs all over the restaurant. Their drinks were priced right and very good. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that wants to try out something different!! Parking: Location is on the corner. Easy to find a spot to park.

We really enjoyed our first visit to On the Kirb for lunch and NCAA Basketball tourney. The grilled chicken sandwich and shrimp tacos were very tasty, and the service was really good as well. We will definitely be back to watch games on the HUGE screen!

Ordered pickup, arrived 10 minutes early. Had to park at Lowes due to no curbside pickup parking and a jammed parking area. Food was waiting. 2 minute drive home. Burgers were over cooked and dry (well done when ordered medium and medium rare) on top of being cold. Frys were cold and soggy. I expected better after dining there and ordering before. Not worth the $$ or trouble. Late add. My wife informed me that upon online check out they tried to sneak in a 20% tip. Say what?? 20% of me to fight parking, walk in, and pick up cold food? Glad she caught the added tip, went back and removed it. Thats just poor business. Parking: Limited spots, always crowded, no curbside

We didn t get a printed check upfront. When we requested the check, the server told us the total amount and brought a hand held credit card reader. It was my first time at On the Kirb and I had a few mimosas before It was time to pay. I recommend you request a printed check before paying, specially if you have had a few drinks.

This is the worst run restaurant in Katy. 3 times now I ve been there and the didn t have what we ordered. This last time was the worst. They ran out of wings who runs out of wings? And since they ran out of wings they said they d comp the meals of those who ordered wings. So one of us ordered a dish that cost less than the wings but when the bill came they refused to comp the meal because it cost less than the wings! Unbelievable. The second one I had to convince to give me the credit of the wings towards the new order since it was more expensive which they agreed and we appreciated but in the end they screwed it up again and didn t follow through. I don t consider myself a cheap person but i do expect you to follow through with what you say. I bet Uncle Joe can run this place better. If you like to eat out at restaurants that don t care about their service or customers then this is the place for you. As they say 3 strikes and your out.

Very cool place to be. They have live music on the patio it seems sometimes lots of TVs to watch the game. Its very crowded and its hard to get a table sometimes but I can see why. The staff is very friendly and the food was great. The salmon was cooked perfectly.

Quickly becoming another go-to place in Katy. Great atmosphere for sports viewing (about biggest screen Ive seen on wall along w numerous choices of viewing around the space). Wait staff is well prepped to take care on 4 of 4 visits weve had the past couple of months. Maybe a bit unexpected, the food has been surprisingly good! Have done brunch tacos, steak and eggs, salads, and a pizza... All were excellent and surpisingly good. Have really enjoyed the place and will be going back w good expectations. Well done!

On my first trip I ordered vegan pizza, with a nacho appetizer. The appetizer was enough by itself. So the next two times I went I just ordered nachos. They offer an organic menu, but you know Texas prides itself on its beef (for those that eat meat). We did have cocktails, they have an awesome selection of alcoholic beverages to soothe anyones taste. The service was exceptional and the vibe was on point. If you are in Cinco Ranch it is a must stop. On Sundays there is a live band and patio if you are the type that enjoys eating outdoors. I will definitely be back! Vegetarian options: I got the Nacho and pizza (build your own) and my friend had the Spinach/Artichoke pizza Parking: Parking is plentiful Kid-friendliness: There were children and they have a kids menu. We have made several trips best football season was in full swing. Even though there is a room full of TVs and a big screen the size of a dance floor, the staff and management have indicated to us that the owner does not want to have sound on for the football games, which makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. This completely detracts from the sports experience. If this is supposed to be a sports bar then why wouldnt you want at least one of the games coming through the stereo system? We had the truffle fries as an appetizer which were really good. We tried their Pizza and even though the flavor was good the crust was not. The actual edge of the Pizza, crust wise, was really hard and really thick. It was extremely chewy and we did not eat that part. The crust in the center part of the pizza where the sauce cheese and ingredients were was completely undercooked, soggy and extremely flimsy.

Im not from the area and have been in town for a few days and wanted to check out a bar & grill. This spot came up on Google maps with great reviews. The vibe looked great. I showed up and immediately loved the place. The atmosphere was really nice, the music was great, and the meal was good. There is also an outdoor seating area with nice lighting. I will definitely be going back the next time I visit.

This place is usually a good time so there was no surprise that I had a great time. The drinks were delicious and they had a holiday drink menu. The holiday drink I got with the dried orange peel on top was delicious! The food was good as usual. I got sliders and added tomatoes with a side of fries. Some of the fries were a bit stale tasting. I ate them either ketchup but I didn t eat all of them due to the aftertaste. My sliders were delicious. I got them medium well and they were juicy. My waitress was great. She was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu items. The atmosphere is nice and comfortable but some of the tables are a bit close together. Overall it was a great experience. I will be back soon!! Parking: The parking lot is big and there s plenty of parking. This establishment is in a shopping center. Kid-friendliness: There were families with babies and toddlers present that night.

I wrote another review (it might have been a 1 or 2 star), but I deleted it. After the first review the GM actually found me on Facebook to discuss the matter so his team can learn from it. We (my wife, myself and the GM Raul Villegas) all sat down together and he asked us what the issues were so he could correct them. He is the most professional GM that I have ever met, he made me want to try them again and that is why the service got such a high rating. I would recommend this place to anyone because of him.
