Mos absolutely nailed it for Los Mesoneros! The staff was super attentive, keeping the cold beers flowing all night. And the sound? Very good. Every note was crystal clear, making it a wonderful concert experience.

Terrible service... There are almost no waiters and the ones there ignore you, I sat for more than an hour and no one attended to me, I had to stop at the bar to buy... The time I was there was because I was watching a play at night. I paid an entrance fee, otherwise I would have left much sooner!! Im not coming back!!

Always a great time at Mos place. I feel the drink prices are always fair and the servers are pretty good at keeping you topped off. A few times weve gone ahead and purchased a table for some of our favorite artists and the prices compared to other places are very fair. We definitely stay stalking the events page to see when some of our favorite artists are playing.

Went there last Saturday with some friends. Cover band singer Caleb Young shoved a reserved seating sign down my girlfriends rack while I was in the bathroom and told her to wait just 15 more minutes. She felt very uncomfortable and disrespected and she wanted to leave immediately. I talked to management and they did nothing, brushed me off. For context, weve never met this guy or ever talked or interacted with him. Just a trashy move out of nowhere.

On February 17th We were there to see the George Strait tribute band and it was a packed full house. When we arrived, there was no parking in their parking lot, only other option was to park across the street in a grocery store parking lot where we parked many of times before. The following day one of my friends said around 11 or 11:30 they heard the DJ say that cars were being towed across the street. However, he mentioned they never turned off the music. It was super loud and difficult to hear. My friend who drove and I were talking at this time, and never heard this announcement. Cost $230 to get it out of tow and I m quite disappointed because we frequent Mo s often and parking is always an issue. I feel like they should have a protocol to ensure people will hear this type of announcement! unfortunately I think it will be quite a while before we go there since parking is such an issue.

Excellent facility. Clean. Spacious. Guys (2 young men) that were at the door let me in free, because I was just meeting some friends who were already there.. They were very nice & respectful. Love the atmosphere, even though its mostly a country music atmosphere, however I had a blast. My only issue is the $20 cover charge that is usually applied at the door, but again Id definitely recommend this place.

Fun live music venue BUT doesnt cater to dancers even though they have a great dedicated wood dance floor...... Tables are setup during live shows ON the Inside of the dance floor, so not only are dancers dodging people sitting and standing around the tables throughout the floor, but maneuvering around waiters delivering drinks across the dance floor as well, yikes! It can be challenging, just depends how much you want to see the band playing, and/or dance.......

Went for a co-workers going away outing. Our group had a really great time. Service was quick. Drinks were great. Live band was also playing really great. The dance floor is a good size. We enjoyed the mix of country, Latin, and hip hop. Plenty of space to chill with a group at the bar or other tables. Will go again for sure!

One of the best-managed live music venues in town. Friendly staff, good service, lots of parking (including valet). Love that they answer the phone and will allow table reservations!! Cover charge usually $8-10 but may be more for special music artists...check their website. You can usually buy tickets online. Some smoking allowed in back by pool tables, but you dont usually smell it by the large dance floor and band stand. Friendly, diverse crowd...never feels unsafe or unruly. All ages 21-80. Wear anything from boots to high heels....not strictly C&W attire. Friendly bartenders and good service. Overall I love this venue. If I could change anything it would be to turn down the music (especially DJ portions) so people can converse more easily... especially before the band goes on. All DJs and sound guys (not just here) seem to be deaf and set music too loud. Were here to socialize...that means talk (not shout) and drink. Background music should be just that...in the background. I would also enjoy more line dance songs before and between sets. Line dance lessons, and two-step lessons would be fun too.

I used to visit very often between 2001 and 2004 after work at Katy Mils with co workers and friends. Great sound at the event Oct 12 2023, we went to see Los Pericos an Argentinian Reggae/Ska Music Band. Bar crew was pretty good and fast Prices for beer and drinks were expensive but in 2023 after Covid everything is, they should push and advertise some drink specials. Staff is friendly. Place is clean and spacious. As an observation I would love to see less lights ON at the time of show so the crown could have a better experience of band, LED Screen and Robotic Light show. Thanks

Great bar and venue. We went last night to see Aaron Watson. This place felt like an old school honky tonk. Beer was ice cold and the nachos were pretty good. Pricing for a bar wasn t bad. Classic, local venue, great for dancing, watching sports, listening to great music esp. on weekends. Very friendly service. Bar tenders know our names and our drinks. Best free C&W dance lessons in the Metroplex on Thursdays at 7pm with Glenn Bertrand and Done Deal Dancing. He is a great teacher and has great assistants. Their food is always good, quesadillas, sliders, sandwiches, fries.

I realize the people at this place is RACIST. I live in downtown and I drove to Katy to see a Venezuelans hip hop artists, it was my first here and the spot is great but the problem is the people working over there. They were unrespectful at the point that one bartender stopped a coworker because he was making a video about the show. Also, the police was tooo rude doing his job! I m pretty sure this can t happen if the show was . About country music, for example the explanation? RACIST!

My first visit to this place, i am from Dubai and I extended my hand to say hello to some ladies and gentlemen and suddenly someone from that group threw a piece of ice on my head, i complained to the bar tender of the humiliation, and that group literally came to attack me physically, Is this a place for people who are racists, I am an engineer and I work hard to make America great. Is this a business for diversity? I will never come back here again. I will make sure none of my friends visit this business ever.

My son use to go there alot as well but the black bouncer has an attitude problem as well as the other. Oh well someone will gladly take my money. The sad thing here is, Im a very kind respectable lady not like some of the trashy people they rather accommodate. Whiskey River is getting alot of mos business..i see them there

If youre looking for a dive, this place is it! The bartenders are very nice. They have food! And pool tables and darts. When I first got there around 8 it was relatively empty. By the time I left around 10 it was packed. Nice vibe and diverse crowd. 1 person passed out and another one got kicked out while I was there. Regardless, recommend this place if youre looking for a true dive with a high energy vibe.

I have gone to MO s for 25 years. I ve always had a great time there. You are met at the door w a friendly greeting, usually from Mo himself. Great live music most nights. Well poured drinks. Fun place to dance. By far, this is my favorite place to go in the Houston area.
