If I could give zero stars, I would. It is my opinion that, This woman will not fight for your best interest! Especially if she knows the opposing attorney! She will financially bleed you dry! Look elsewhere!!

I would give zero stars if I could. Georgia did my divorce in 2021 and did an excellent job. However, in June 2024, I asked her for help with a divorce modification. She was rude and short with me whenever we spoke (after I gave her a $5000 retainer - not rude before). She never took more than 5 minutes to talk, took 3 days to return calls - and just kept telling me I didnt know anything. All she had to say was that she had worked until 10 pm the night before. And how busy she was like talking to me was an imposition. Ultimately, I had a signed agreement that she also signed and at the last minute she fired me, or quit right before a 15-minute mediation was scheduled that she had already signed it was a done deal. Absolutely the most horrible experience. Unbelievable. DO NOT HIRE HER.

I had a great experience working with Georgia Barker. She was helpful from the consultation through the resolution of my custody case. She was always easy to reach and returned all calls and emails promptly. Her and her staff are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The cost was reasonable and I even received some of my deposit back. Shes had years in the industry and it shows. I would recommend her to my friends and family. Thanks, Mr. Richardson

Very professional, all the assistants are very enthusiastic. Mrs. Georgia Baker is very sweet. of all the lawyers help my husband. She is the best person. If it wasnt for my crazy brother-in-law, she wouldnt have backed out, and her price was very reasonable.

BEWARE!!! Honestly the most unprofessional, unorganized, incompetent and uncommunicative Law Firm that I ve ever dealt with! Ms. Barker showed up 25 minutes lates to mediation (which costs an additional $1500.) She dug in her purse and then coerced me into making a decision; I was firmly against from the beginning; however told me if I did NOT AGREE then I should be prepared to pay for the opposing counsel s fees (which I have proof!) Lastly, 2 days before our court date she demands $4000 after providing an elementary, at best, exhibit for our hearing of temporary orders! To top it off, she asks her paralegal s opinion on legal matters when she supposedly went to law school! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON HIRING THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY!

HIGHLY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Georgia is not professional, in a 2 year span she requested funds constantly and did absolutely nothing for our custody case. Our 1st initial consultation she seemed very knowledgeable and made it seem like she knew what she was doing. She made us feel like she was going to help us but in the court room she was very unprepared EVERY single time, seemed lost and all over the place, asking the same questions over and over, although she had all the evidence to present in court to help prove our case. She then recommended a custody evaluation for our final trial and removed herself from our case right before claiming to help us financially due to all the evaluation expenses and claiming the final trial would be reset until the evaluation was completed all while knowing a custody evaluation wasn t even needed in the 1st place or going to help and we lost our case considering a child s wellbeing and safety was and is STILL at risk. Due to all the evaluation expenses we had to represent ourselves because she withdrew herself and we were left with no evidence to play in court due to no phones allowed and because SHE HAD ALL THE EVIDENCE TO BEGIN WITH but because she wasted so much time being unprepared every single hearing and made us believe it would keep being reset UNTIL the evaluation was completed. She lied, took our money and dragged our case out for 2 YEARS. Do not believe these 5 star reviews because they are not real. We trusted her with everything we had and she ruined our lives and I would NEVER recommend her to anyone.

Very professional, acted very promptly on my case. Mrs. Barker finalized my divorce very fast. Went back to her for another family law case. If needed (hopefully not), will go to her in the future. I can trust her with my case and she will advise me on what to do.

Georgia was amazingly helpful throughout the entire process. She took on my case when I was down to the wire and needed help ASAP. She fought for everything I asked for and was far more knowledgeable than opposing counsel. I m very grateful for her and her team and while I hope not to need her in the future I will always keep her number close by.

Now, shes not perfect, and we definitely butted heads more than once over my case, however, when push came to shove, she absolutely knocked it out of the park, and for a good price considering the 3 year lifespan of this case.

Georgia should not be in the people business. We helped a family member with a legal matter and Georgia was flaky all around. Non responsive, calling to ask the same question repeatedly without the file in front of her and missing appointments. You can do better representing yourself. Do not hire this attorney .

First of she was late for a phone call meeting, I had to called her , I tried to be understandable . As i tried to explain my situation she was very dismissive and also , not very helpful at all , all she care about was my method of payment , if i reached out is because obviously i am in a tough situation, but she was very judgmental. I hope you enjoy my $50.00 dollar charge up front for a 15 min call.

I recently went through a divorce and Barker Law Firm was truly amazing. Georgia is a great lawyer, she is very responsive and always attentive to details. Her team is also great and always on top of everything. Everyone knew what was going on with my case and I never had to chase them down for anything. Her tactics are to settle in mediation, shes very unprofessional and rude. Doesnt follow up with phone calls and never kept me updated with anything new. While on my case she was on her phone texting I felt she if shes being paid by the hour to be focused 100% on my case not whoevers on her phone. Remeber they work for us! Mediation was a waste of time. I wouldnt recommend her to anyone of my friends or family, very nasty attitude.

I seen her reviews on Avvo and she seems highly recommended, but even 5 stars she has here Im sure theyre from people who work or know her personally. Georgia should not even be an attorney as she pretends she is taking notes the first time you set foot into her newly established firm, with her law degrees posted in her CON-ference room. She quickly brings up the retainer fee of $5,000.00 the contract, she charges $50 for consultation but says shes waving it once she has the money out of your account. I paid her in full I did all the running around myself getting files needed to fight to gain custody of my child. Georgia waited for the last 2 days before court to have a sit down and tell me the judge made the decision. If she had said this from the start I would of looked elsewhere and saved myself the agony being deceived. I myself gave her enough information and files to get custody back, had she taken the time to thoroughly looked through them and paid from the money she withdrew from my account to get my court documents, my files sat without any care. I never felt the abuse being yelled by a grown woman as she dropped the ball as she basically told me she was not ready for court, she immediately said we should do mediation and even their she yelled at me loud enough to where it was heard outside them doors. She is rude and very disrespectful; no compassion for someones life. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Georgia is a wonderful attorney and a great person!! She is very knowledgeable, straight forward, nonjudgmental and committed to her clients! She responded swiftly and gave great advice when I contacted her about a court case set for the next day and unexpectedly agreed to represent me during the middle of the hearing. She opened the meeting to detect the contract in front of me, meaning the payment. Requires $ 4000 per case without hearing any detail claiming that a relative amount will be refunded by the case. Asked irrelevant questions, inspired no calm, quite the opposite, Atmospheric pressure, she really said she had no time for me, even though I was sitting in front of her for only 8 minutes and that too at $ 50. Sense of seriousness, disrespect, irrelevance, without basic human relations. In short, I got a measure, came out with less information than I had before. Save yourself, too, the $ 50 Im sorry I spent. (I read other bad comments before the meeting, I didnt listen to them. I really recommend that you do not repeat my mistake)

Georgia was not good. She started off the first meeting wonderful and made me feel like she knew what she was talking about /doing, but soon I saw she has no clue what was happening. I always had to remind her who I was and what my case was. When we went to trial she missed the deadline for important necessary documents which could then not be used which definitely caused me to loose my fight. We are fighting for our life and she is taking our money! I had every reason to win but she had no clue and her paralegal did all her work! She definitely ruined our life. Be careful using her.

I had a 30 minute consultation feee of charge thru a company program and I don t know if that s why she acted so aggressive with me but she was mean. I don t think that was necessary. We reach to them for professional advice and I was just letting her know what two police officers in two different occasions stated to me and she just responded in a very rude way. 7 minutes and she brought it up she had provided me with her advice, I could listen to the police or listen to her, take it or leave it, she had given me 30 minutes free of charge consultation. It wasn t even 10 minutes and she was fast to attack me and bring up the free of charge , no need to get a lawyer with that attitude. She should have stated in order to be treated with dignity and respect, please pay.

Georgia helped me get full custody of my two boys. I wasn t sure what lawyer that I had wanted to use at the time but when I called her she gave me full attention and advice. No other lawyer I had talk to was even willing to talk to me without putting down money. She is a real blessing and I thank her for the work she did. Georgia has to be the worst attorney I ve ever had work for. She treated me like a second rate citizen. Moreover, she was never prepared when showing up to court. Scenario: -1st court visit- she says, oh I haven t looked at your file. This was after she said discovery had been filed. -2nd Visit - I had to remind her of the charges against me and how to proceed. She asked if I was ready to take a plea bargain. That s when I fired her and acquired a different attorney who had the case dismissed. If it wasn t for the other attorney, I would have been lost in the legal system with possibly years of probation, or even jail time. I would not recommend her to anyone if my life depended on it. Giving her a one star rating is generous. If I was able to, I d give something close to a sixteenth of a star. She s awful

Georgia is absolutely amazing! Everything was super easy and shes streamlined the legal process for my case down to perfection. I was updated at all times and she was right beside me all the way. I couldnt have asked for a better attorney. Shes strategic and goes in for the Kill at the right time. If you want someone thats going to go out and kick ass for you, shes your gal.
