As a non-West African, the picture menu was helpful characterized by vivid and colorful original photos of the dishes (picture clarity). I didn t even know the names of the dishes, but the picture menu came in handy! I guess the one running the restaurant is the elder lady, I have also met a gentleman with some kids and he was courteous to ask if I was ok and contented! I have gone to this place multiple of times, and it is laid back and not crowded, very easy to pick a spot you d sit in. On the multiple times, I have ordered Egusi soup with pounded yam and goat meat (the white-ish one, not sure if it is amala), also okra with the same (goat meat). Of course, draining the spicy food with the palm drink! However, the only problem I have encountered was recently! This time, it was an Uber Eats delivery. The goat meat was so hard, pointing to haste, that s why I downgraded my ratings to 4 stars! Actually, I was lucky that I was idle at my condo and had a couple of hours to re-boil the goat meat. Payment was easier by tap-to-pay . Parking: The complex has a wider parking lot that can be used by patrons of businesses within.

I ordered this food on Uber eats. I ordered the EFO w/ goat & yam! This food was so good I could barely breathe! The portion was adequate, there was not a lot of oil, and the stew tasted very fresh. I would definitely be ordering it again. Highly recommend.

Please this isn t to bash the restaurant but I hope this feedback will help for future purposes. This I ordered two plates of jollof rice, came out to be $49.8 personally I think that s a lot. Each plate had goat meat and plantain. The meat was soft and so was the plantain so that s good. But the rice lacked flavor and needed more seasoning honestly. Didn t really have that smokey party taste, it honestly tasted like I could ve made it at home. It tasted like concoction rice not authentic jollof rice. Maybe you can try other things on their menu. I hope to come back in the future and see changes. Overall, the service was nice.

So when you decide to order meals outside doesn t mean you don t know how to cook, sometimes you just need to take off that stress from you n let someone else do it all n you enjoy it, but after today please make sure you do your research well before trying someone especially for parties, I contracted this people for my get together party and I must say I totally regret spending that money ,every food I ordered was a zero over 10. Except moi moi. The vegetable was almost going bad before the party even started just 2hrs after I picked up. It looked so stale n black like it was made weeks ago n was warmed over n over , jellof rice was an apology, you can imagine ordinary jellof that I make with my eyes closed n it s perfecto, those who are very close to me asked me why the hell I didn t cook myself cos this was thrash.i totally regret it and she had audacity to tell me she has been a professional for 15 years and knows the best advice for her clients, durrr to people who dnt know what they want you can dish ur dumb advice to them ok, just learn to listen to your customers n do exactly what they want .anyway i need to stop ranting, i will never try them or go there ever ,please do your research well before trying out stuff especially for your parties.

My first time visiting Lolas and overall I was satisfied with the pepper soup. Its very hard to find a restaurant that gives your moneys worth of meat etc. I ga e only 3 stars for service because I was trying to explain to the nice lady who took my order that there is a different restaurant that charged $20 for their pepper soup and it BARELY had ANY meat. I basically paid 20.00 plus tax for a bowl of spicy soup juice. A rip off. She seemed to become a bit irritated with me asking the ounces of soup, and even offering to pay extra for more meat. Im prefer to learn how to make my own. So I KNOW I am getting my moneys worth and not paying 23.00 basically for a bowl of juice, 4 pieces of meat, and some bones. I have a great Nigerian friend who offered to show me. God is good.

As soon as I came in there was a very RUDE employee at the register she mumbled rude things like stupid and ho* , as soon as I started to eat my food I couldn t finish it because my stomach instantly started to to hurt. She then came from the kitchen and mumbled you re eating everybody s spit . I ve tried to contact the owner multiple of times with no response so I take it as no importance to this company. But be cautious.

The old lady always gives the worst customer service ! Acting like shes doing you a huge favour, always wearing a smug face, I patronize them cause of the warmth and good customer service the gentleman gives us , but ever since he stopped being there, we are met with the old ladys rude face. Customers service has always been a great problem with us Nigerians, acting like everyone should worship you. If something puts food on your table, you should treat them well! And that small bowl of over spicy beans for $18 is just ridiculous . I hope someone else opens another nigerian restaurant in irving.

We went in because of a recommendation of friends. But when we arrived it was several people waiting for food. It was one guy working the cash register and running to food to the tables. That was no problem, we wanted to eat in and experience the food. We order egusi with assorted meat, and egusi with stew fish with a side of veggies. The fish and pounded yam was the freshest. The assorted meat had a large hunk of chicken breast in there. The fish was old, it was in the stew sauce but dried out and hard. The egusi I don t think was fresh because of the strong strong smell. Having a Nigerian chef in the family so we are aware of what the food smells and taste like but sometimes we like to go out and still eat good food. Well have to find another west African (Nigerian) restaurant to go eat. no pics, that would have added insult to injury.

First time here. Ordered to go and waited about 35 minutes. The Efo Riro was great and the meat was nice and tender. I will definitely be back but probably have to call and order my food ahead of time.

Yo, I rarely give bad reviews but man. I ordered the goat and egusi soup which the egusi and fufu wasn t bad. Now they goat was tough you couldn t even chew it. The peppered fish was hot/spicy I couldn t eat it. Mind you that the order was 43.00. Never again man. Never.

Please dont go to this place if want respect for yourself and your hard-earned money. They lack customer service ethics. I called them 48mins earlier placed my order and upon arrival I was told that my order wont be ready for the next 46mins. I explained to these folks that I was new in Dallas-Fort that very day and was very hungry. The man at the front desk was very rude and nasty with his words, the lady was worst but the older woman was a bit courteous. Please look for better Nigeria restaurant to spend your money. I wont recommend at all. The messed up my first experience is Dallas Texas.
