Great place for mediocre steaks at a good price. I think my 14 oz Fort Worth ribeye was $28. But it wasnt worth one cent more. The only reason I tried this place was because of the unforgettable wood-fired ribeye I had at a franchise by the Kansas City airport. The steaks at this Irving joint, however, were mediocre at best, insipid and cooked on a gas grill, apparently at low heat because they lacked any type of crust. If you avoid sugar, then avoid the bread (should be served as dessert) and the sweetened partially hydrogenated oil they serve as butter . On the other hand, the chili was very good, the beer was cold, and the servers were very friendly, even on a Saturday evening.

3 of us came for prime ribs. Order a big double portion 34 oz prime ribs single piece for $75. Requested our waitress for medium rare, which she checked and said got it. Also had a big bone in ribeyes steak just to cover everyone. 3 orders of steaks and included sides. After we ate our salads, Prime ribs came out meduim well/well done with gray colors outside and inside. We didnt even eat a single bite, We told waitress we wanted to send this back. With tax + tip would be $100 for this piece, so no way are we going to eat well done prime ribs. 20 minutes later, the manager came out and said this was their last piece of prime ribs (at 6:30pm) and told us to order something else on the spot, which we ordered another 26 oz. bone in rib eyes. This is 1 hour into our dinner. Then charged us for extra double sides and wouldnt even offer to comp us for our dessert or anything, which I dont care after the disappointment. No apologies, no efforts, just this is our last piece, you gonna have to order something else. Why even serve something if you know its not how the customer ordered? Not sure how, but our bill still came out to be about $150. Our usual Texas Roadhouse location near our house takes good care of their customers, not like this one. Never coming back. NOT RECOMMENDED.

We arrived about 6 pm and saw the line. Much to our surprise we were seated immediately because there were just 2 of us. The service was quick and the food was excellent. My steak was perfectly prepared and the deep-fried onion was a hit. The manager stopped by and was friendly and interested in how we were enjoying ourselves. It was our date night and we left feeling we would be back soon.

First visit to Texas Roadhouse and it was delicious! Ordered the 12oz ribeye, with a Caesar salad and mashed potatoes. For only $22. The steak was cooked perfectly. A little over-seasoned but still delicious. But the dinner rolls were super yummy! The only thing I didn t like was I noticed a $2 charge for their games tablet which was on the table. I don t recall any notice saying there was a charge for it. Service was great.

The staff may be suffering from an inadequate to-go ordering system. On a Tuesday, my order was ready 25 minutes after it was scheduled to be ready by the website. If it cant keep up on a Tuesday, I cant imagine its any better on the weekend. Unfortunately staff compounded the problem by their response. We decided to come have lunch here today because it s Friday and we love Texas Roadhouse. Sides and everything came out and tasted great. We both ordered steaks, a 14oz Fort Worth steak and a bone in ribeye and that s when things took a turn for the worse. We both ordered medium well and both steaks came out rare. They offered to take them back and cook them up a little more. Well we finally got our steaks back after waiting another 15-20 minutes. The ribeye came back cooked right in the inside but the outside tasted burnt. My fort worth steak came back well done and tasting burnt. We decided to keep them because we were hungry and had other plans to attend to. They did take the Fort Worth steak off and we didn t have to pay for that one. The only part of this experience that made it ok was our waitress. She was very attentive and had a great personality. Sadly though our food was not what it should be and have come to expect from our fav place to eat.

Im a Texan. My first dinner at a Texas Roadhouse was in Ohio, which was cool because I wasnt in Texas and could pretend I was. The peanut appetizer was cool. So now, my second Texas RH dinner is in Dallas... no one is wearing boots; no cowboy hats... at least someone had a birthday and we got to yell YEEHAW! That alone got them to 5 stars on atmosphere. I had to ask for peanuts... luckily I knew that the bowl on the table was for the shells or we wouldve been crunching them into the floor boards! So, I ordered the sirloin, which I know is a chewy piece of meat... I guess I got extra chewy this time... hence 4 stars for that. All in all, its a good place that Ill do again. Thank you RH

I placed my order over the phone & the young man who took my order was extremely kind. He was so respectful as we discussed my options. He explained portion sizes thoroughly & made suggestions. When I arrived, I parked in the to-go area & received a text when my food was ready. They have a convenient to-go pick up window where theres NO WAIT & the same young man who took my order was at the window! I just cant express enough how sweet he was. The food was phenomenal. I had placed an order for myself & something special for my friend who had a HUGE craving! Overall, the food was amazing, but service like this is far and few in between... Wonderful employees are the foundation of a great restaurant & Im 100% satisfied with this specific TEXAS ROADHOUSE! Out steaks were completely messed up, 3/4 steaks were sent back to the kitchen multiple times and the waitress offered no solutions and we had to ask for a discount. The manager, James, was also no help and didnt offer no resolve. The waitress had an attitude the whole time barely checking up and not even waiting to see if our steaks were better, causing multiple re-attempts. Weve been here multiple times and never had an issue with the service until now. Truly disappointing on what happened, tonight was supposed to be special and was completely ruined.

We love the Texas roadhouse. I have eaten there many many times, but this is the first time at this location. What could easily have been a five star turned into a two star because we were rushed. It was a Sunday night and the restaurant was packed. It s always a good sign when a restaurant is packed because the food is good and people enjoy your experience there as we usually do at other locations. Our waitress was very nice, we ordered drinks and they were brought to the table and then we made a mistake of ordering the rest of the meal at one time. Within about five minutes our delicious salads were delivered to the table. After asking about her appetizer, it arrived about five minutes later. Two minutes later, with our salads not finished our appetizer not started our steaks were delivered. So at that moment we pushed the salad aside, began eating our steak, so it wouldn t get cold and eating the appetizer at the same time. I was pissed but didn t want us to say anything abd have our steaks brought back to the kitchen and put under a heating lamp to keep it warm. If you decide to eat location, make sure you order your appetizer, then your salads and then your meal. Unless of course you re in a big hurry and you want it all delivered at one time.

Excellent food; We had a boy named Marcos as a waiter; 10/10. The boy spoke Spanish and English. We came on vacation from Mexico and he made us feel at home with his excellent service.

I went to Texas Roadhouse on Sunday. I ordered the smothered chicken dinner with a baked potatoe and brocolli with carrots. My fried told the waitress she also wanted the smothered chicken. She ordered different sides. When they brought us our food I got my dish and they gave her just the sides. We asked the waitress, where is her meat? The waitress didnt hear her when she ordered her dish. The music was so loud the waitress could not hear my friends soft spoke voice. In the meantime I visited the restroom. The stench of urine filled the air. Yips, my nostrils were offended. The restrooms were not very clean. Considering, we were one of the first people there that day one would think that the restroom would have been nice and tidy. Nope. When I came back my friend finally got her chicken. The chicken was a bit over cooked and the seasoning was over and abundante. All I could taste was the anormous amount of salt off the top in which I proceded to scrap off the top. When we got our bill they neglected to correct my friends dish to a full entre from a la carte. We talked to the waitress who went to talk to the manager. She never told us what he said until we questioned her. My goodness. Please clean your bathroom, turn your music down, and back off on the sodium. On a good note the rolls were good.

Worst Texas Roadhouse Ive ever been to. My rib eye tastes like a sirloin. Manager has no customer empathy. Place reeks of good help is hard to come by. TR is usually a go to for me but if this if the first one I ever experienced, Id run for the hills and never come back.
