Me and my mom went here yesterday and I m disabled and there were no elevators we had to use Macy s private elevator and it was embarrassing. Also the mall looks absolutely abandoned and run down plus some shops are closed for no reason and the Macy s downs stair was empty with no employees and a bunch of people were commenting that down stairs area is empty and looks very easy to steal from its super dark every where. and like 1 hour before the mall close shops started opening

The air conditioning unit didnt seem to be running during my first n recent visit. Definitely recommend the movie theater n the Mexican restaurant to have some good drinx n enjoy a Mexican style shrimp cocktail w/ half a dozen fresh oysters on a half shell. UPDATE!!! August 2024, I was in town and went to the Irving Mall in hopes of repeating my last visit. Unfortunately, the escalators were all out of service and the only way to access the 2nd level, where AMC Movie Theater is located along w/ my favorite Mexican restaurant. After arriving, I wanted to revisit the Rivieras Tex-Mex Bar and Grill only to find out sadly they had completely closed down for good. I am so sad and disappointed. The shrimp cocktail w/ fresh oysters served on a half shell were so fresh and delicious. I hope this restaurant is somewhere else nearby and maybe jus changed location.

I only made it through about half the mall, which appears to have its best years behind it. Still, I was impressed with some of the non-traditional Mall features theyve brought in. Things like Skyzone and the fitness center bring some nice energy into the space, and they still have a good number of stores. Nevertheless, I feel like this mall is likely on a downward decline. I was disappointed to find they werent keeping it at a comfortable temperature in the atrium areas. That makes me think ownership is either short on funds or too cheap to keep it comfortable. I think that will have an impact on the patron experience over time that continues to cause them to lose businesses.

This mall is dead and boring. The ceilings are low and it doesn t feel like a mall. There are also no people here it feels abandoned.Many shops were closed for no reason. The mall is dark and has no vibe to it at all. The food court is hard to find and is an extremely slow and also Guana Cafe had terrible service and served me the wrong food twice.Apparently they have also never heard of turning the lights on. The mall looks very dark inside. It s also burning up as they have also never thought of turning the AC on.
