Jam + Toast is a great stop for breakfast! I was very impressed with the speed of our food coming to the table combined with how great everything tasted! The staff knew the menu quite well, offering some gluten free solutions. The gluten free pancakes are delicious. This restaurant had us in and out within 30 minutes.

Met some friends for brunch and the food and service was great! Word of advice to the owners and to Google, update the name on Google to Jam + Toast 1, Jam + Toast 2 because Google gives only the location closer to I-635 instead of the 114/John Carpenter most times. Not only were my friends sitting at the wrong location I heard quite a few other parties that encountered the same.

Had brunch on the patio. It was nice enough and had breakfast and lunch options. We tried the breakfast burrito, Denver skillet, and classic American breakfast. The inside had the traditional clang of breakfast plates, silverware and aroma. Excellent quality of food.

Very average food not sure why this place has such a high rating. The grits taste like instant grits and have zero seasoning skip, do not try! Omelette was very underwhelming and dry. Fried okra was ok if a bit bland. Biscuits and hashbrowns were fine. Scrambled eggs were dry and rather sad looking. Went with 4 people we all got something different and no one was very impressed with the food. The server also brought out the wrong order for one of our party and when they told them that they ordered the BLT Sandwich the server was pretty rude to them. Overall the experience & food was subpar and we will not be back. My recommendation is to eat somewhere else.

Husband and I got meals around the same price. For 50 cents to a dollar more, he got avocado, and extra biscuit, chorizo, 2-3x as many hashbrowns, vegetables, cilantro and other addins. I got 80ish calories of hasbrowns, the same amount of eggs(2), and 1 medium biscuit. 13 and change. Overpriced and just plain insulting to leave hungry after spending 14 on breakfast

They charge $1.25 for 1/2 an oz of roasted salsa. Skillet is filled 90% with undercooked hash browns (no brown) and a dusting of meat . Maybe the pancakes are better, but between the gouging for bare tablespoon worth of Salsa and a unhelpful and uncommunicative Luis F. I m going to think twice before coming back.

Great morning place that serves breakfast classics, French toast, Waffles, Omelets, Crepes, etc. & some lunch items like burger & fries, a tuna melt, or soup of the day & salad. Try the homemade spicy bacon jam on the burger. The good: Chicken enchilada soup of the day was surprisingly better than expected. The cheese pull on the omelet. The homemade bacon jam was exceptional. The bad: Hamburger patties were so thin. Was really expecting a hand-made patty. The hash browns were so under seasoned. The ugly: It still shocks me that after COVID, manual everything bathrooms still exist. The waitress was really urgent to clear the table.

Usually I love jam and toast..todayd experience was not good at all. greeters dont place people according to the amt in party. We got a small table and chair pulled on the side. Servers were ok, not too friendly, just ok. And food is bland, tasteless, portions gotten smaller from the last time I came. Plant based burger tasting disgusting. Grilled cheese is just 2 peices of toast with a slice of cheese. Dont order the mom and dad menu. Not even worth it. Really poor and not appetizing at all. Pancakes were very basic. Pls revamp everything in the MacArthur location, or get a bigger location, we have to wait at least 15 20 mins to eat bland food. Im just a little disappointed.

while the ambiance was fine, the service was good, the menu was big enough for everyone but not too overbearing, there wasnt much of a wait like we were expecting, even the prices arent obscenely high for such a trendy place - i still cant recommend due to the food quality. every. single. thing. we. ordered. was. so. freaking. boring. the food didnt have any flavor! and sadly that was a recurring theme. the hash browns tasted like you were eating cardboard, the eggs tasted like you were just eating nothing, the eggs Benedict i had tasted like old frozen tuna instead of nice fresh salmon and the ham didnt have much flavor either except for the charring from the pan. the best part was the pancake that my partner ate. he said its hard to mess up box pancake mix but seriously, go somewhere else where they use flavor. the cooks are probably not to blame, or at least i hope so. i bet the blandness is coming from above their heads, but seriously, at use use some salt and pepper! the tabasco and cholula are a lifeline at your disposal and already at the table, but if you do decide to come bring your own spices or sauces to make up for the missing flavor here. we will not be returning.

Food was great. I have no complaints. Jazzy was an awesome server as well. What I did have a problem with is the manager JC. When the runner brought my food out I realized I didn t ask for no onions so I let the runner know I can t eat onions & if she could have them re make it please. She seemed very timid on my response. She brought it to JC the manager who immediately snatched the plate from her and stormed towards me. He said what s wrong with this food? I said I didn t realize it had onions & I don t want them. All I ask is if it could please be re made. He replied did you tell your server? As if he s looking for a reason to punish her. I told him no Jazzy did nothing wrong she s been great. He gave me a look and turned around to the kitchen while shaking his head. How unprofessional. When another runner brought my food out I asked her for his name and she seemed so scared to tell me. What the hell is going on there? I hope this message reaches JC s boss because a RM needs to come in and talk to those employees. I can t imagine working for that guy. This place was sort of a happy accident discovery. I happen to pass by here and I thought, hey, why not try something new. Im so glad I did. It was some of the best breakfast Ive had in a while. I would choose this place over IHOP any day. The food was great, fresh and generous. The menu was quite expansive too. I really wanted to like this place based on the great reviews! It was not horrible but not big ce either. Food is not flavorful; it s basic breakfast fare that s overpriced. We arrived early Saturday morning so we were seated right away. However, by 10:30am, there was already a crowd of people outside waiting to be seated along with people waiting inside! My husband and I ordered the Tuscan omelette and a basic entree of sunny side up eggs which came with 2 pancakes and sausage. We both ordered coffee. Total price NOT including tip was $42. We both said the same thing after we d eaten We should ve just gone to Waffle House! . Since this is 1 of 2 breakfast diners in this area, there aren t other options nearby so this may explain the popularity of the place because I honestly don t get it. Food is bland and basic. Coffee is ok, nothing you can t make at home with your brew pot. The waitstaff is not great, they re pretty slow to wait on you even though they are fully staffed. 4-5 Waitstaff were milling around even though the restaurant was packed. They seemed in no rush to take orders, bring food, or coffee, etc. If you want to have drop nearly $20 for a basic omelette and black coffee, then arrive by 10 am or be prepared to wait approximately 45min or so to be seated. The place is in a strip mall, parking is plenty, the restaurant is small and there s only 2 restrooms which stay continuously busy. Be prepared to wait by the restroom door if you need to wash your hands or use the facilities! Save your time on a Saturday morning and your money I suggest Waffle House. Honestly, any drive thru fast food breakfast would probably taste better. Parking: Parking is aplenty as the restaurant is located in a strip mall.

All were good except the burger was below averages. Thin patty and did not taste good. I hope they work on what and how customer wants his food s order to be! Everyone in our group loved their dishes. The biggest hits were the French toast and the biscuits. Service is attentive and courteous. The only issue is that its the loudest place I have ever eaten. Service very good. Food less than average. Pickled jalapeños were used vs. Fresh...need fresh in an omelet. Biscuits were warm when served but must have been microwaved since they became very hard quickly. Bacon was soft could have been cooked more.

I came here back on June 20th. We ordered and waiting for our food, a waitress who was not ours comes over and asks if my girl friend and I are married. We said no. So she starts telling me that owner wants her info. I told this waitress she is not from here and kindly said no. But she continued to ask for her phone number for her boss. She even said he travels so he can meet her in other state or country. It was so awkward that I finally had to tell her to leave! Never going back here. Why do we need to be harassed this way? Tell the owner to go on dating apps!!!

This place was hopping Friday morning at 10:00 a.m.! We were a large group and were thrilled that they had allowed us to make a reservation as there were many people waiting for tables after we arrived. I had the B.A.T. Eggs Benedict with crispy hash browns and it was yummy. One of the eggs was overcooked for my taste as I like them runny but the flavor was still excellent. I was impressed at what a good job they did making the hash browns crispy per my request. This place was hoppin late this morning when we tried it for the 1st time. If you use a wheelchair or walker (as my mother does), you may have a little trouble with access, as booths are closely packed. Food was good (pancakes and skillet) and portions were so generous, I took 1/2 my skillet home. It would be nice to have little samples of their specialty jams. Third time here and yeah, Ive decided not for me. The coffee was the thing having me come back for more, but today the coffee was trash. $3.50 for a cup of coffee I didnt even finish because it was so bad. Charged me $1.25 for 2 tablespoons of salsa that had been sitting out, and the biscuit was hard as a rock. Im just disappointed to say the least, $40 for 2 for breakfast is insane if you ask me. Next time I will drive a little further and go to Moms Cafe in Carrollton.

The place was packed when we arrived, but we we re still seated within minutes. The staff was really friendly and attentive. The food came quickly and was delicious. We had the biscuits and gravy and Classic American Breakfast. Both were great. I really liked their hash-browns. Also their coffee was a step above - full flavored and strong. No weak diner coffee here! I look forward to trying a sweet breakfast next time.
