Decent place. I usually get the grilled chicken burger which is delicious but the patty seems too thick. If it could be trimmed a little so you don t feel like eating raw chicken that would be great.

Used to come almost every day - they list on the door and online they re open at 11 Mon thru Thurs. I m there 11:50. The doors are locked & dude just looks and doesn t let me in lol. Update your hours if you are going to open at 12 during the week and have the courtesy to walk up next time, you ve lost a regular customer due to ignorant service

Update: they are yet to refund the side I paid for and didn t receive after 7 months. They ran out of a certain side, so they gave me a different side for my takeout order without asking. I called and asked them to refund it. It s been 2 weeks and I assume they didn t plan to do it at all. Great food, bad business practice.

Don t order the chicken burger. It has 2 tiny chicken tenders, very little meat, dissatisfied and disappointed for a $14 sandwich. If I remember correctly it used to have a giant piece of chicken breast, and the meat used to be larger than the bread. Now they put 2 tiny chicken tenders.

My wife and I absolutely love their paneer wrap, but 2 out of the last 3 times we went they ve been out of paneer on a Friday or Saturday night. As a vegetarian, are you kidding me? The interior is incredibly dirty. The guy who took our order asked me what I said 4 or 5 times and still managed to forget my meal completely. When I reminded him, he brought it out immediately and it didn t have anythink on it that it was supposed to it was like they just sloppily threw it together. Oh, and I ordered mixed olives, and when I didn t receive them they kept saying we don t have those. Turns out they were out of stock. Why not mention that when I ordered? At least the hummus and cassava fries were good I guess

The food was ok, unless youre looking for something different. My main issue with this location was the cashier. He was snobbish and couldnt really answer my questions. This was my first time visiting, and I wanted to know more about the items on the menu. He seemed more concerned about his customers, who were similar to nationality, than anything I wanted to know. He made my first experience feel like I was a nuisance, so instead of waiting for my food, I left until it was ready.

Its not nearly Portuguese as they make themselves sound. Mainly fast food or South Asian style foods with a twist. Chicken was acceptable, with a tasty sauce. Fries were unseasoned entirely. Food is priced on the steeper end with small portions. The family unfriendly Bollywood music blaring was unnecessary. Asked if it could be turned down because I literally could not hear my friend talking, told there are other guests who then also complained so they finally turned the TV off.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The first time i tried peri peri chicken in ST Louis, MO. I loved it over there. When I visited dallas last week, I was serving for a halal restaurant near me, the port of peri peri pops up as recomendation. It was hopping that it was the same restaurant and when I went there, it was the same restaurant. I love their concept where you can choose the spice level up to extreme for each quarter of chicken, unlike other resturant where one dish will have the same spice level. This franchise tatse has not changed between states. Loved their garlic sause, too. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking to eat spicy food.

Atmosphere, interior is not as another place of same restaurant. Table,chair, silverware, floor is not clean and thats the most thing, we were really hungry to have our favorite thats why stayed there. Bathroom is not clean at all,no napkins. Front desk people has no manner or attitude as professional, they served items one item each time and with bare hands,which was really not pleasant specifically when you visit with kids. There was no special items available from the menu and also some common items not available too, they gave excuses for weekend while restaurants are busy on weekends!!! Lunch time on a wednesday the place is dead. Two chicken quarters, dark meat, a small portion of fried kasaba and a can of coke zero. $15 and change. The chicken was very moist but slightly salty. The fried cassava chucks were hard and dry in the middle , crunchy but still not pleasant. The garlic sauce helped a little bit to soften it. The seasoning was also over salty. Overall not such a good value.

I really like the taste of the peri peri sauce so I go back to Port of Peri Peri. But the advertising is a bit tricky. It says 1/4 leg AND thigh so to me .. this means both leg and thigh not only one !!! I ordered that but when opened at home realized there was only one pc chicken so maybe they need to fix the wording on the menu. It s tricky!! I also feel they are overpriced. Ordered family platter takeout through Uber Eats. Chicken had smell and bone was dark which indicates it was old and not fresh. After having the chicken, my son and I both got sick. My wife and daughter did not eat and they were fine. It started with vomiting followed by fever, body aches for two days. Can t believe they charge $42 for a chicken platter and serve old/raw chicken. Either chicken was raw or cooked few days earlier and bacteria grew. We have reported to Uber already & will be reporting to food safety department as well. We used to go there and food used to be somewhat fresh but no more. Could be due to outrageous price hike (selling a full chicken for $30 where Sam s club/Costco sells full rotisserie chicken for $4.99, so inflation is an excuse), people stop going to this place and they started selling unsold old chickens. It s a choice to buy at high price and I am okay to pay $30 for full chicken as long as it s fresh but not some old chicken.

I was dissapointed how their house special sizzler sandwich turned out to be. The presentation was lame. The bottom part of the sandwich was already soggy by the time it arrived. Lettuce and onion were not fresh/crunchy. The sandwich should have been wrapped in a parchment paper or put together with a pick so that it does not fall apart. After pricing the sandwich at 13$ , the cheese comes as an add-on for a dollar. However, I didnt see or taste any cheese. The sub-par food does not justify the unreasonable price. I was in the mood to try peri peri chicken. I had driven past The Port of Peri Peri many times before, and decided to go there, as there are not many places that specialize in peri peri chicken in the area. My order was enough for me (1 person), but I was also quite hungry, so you can gauge how much to order when there. It was about 30 minutes till closing time, and I was greeted by the manager when I entered. He was very friendly, answered my questions from a first time guest, and offered helpful suggestions. I ordered the two ¼ chicken: leg and thigh, with peri fries and perimayo corn for the sides. The manager was kind enough and offered the rice and garlic sauce to try as well. I ordered to-go. When I got home, the temperature of the food was still hot. I tried the peri fries first. Dusted with peri salt, the fries were very delicious and paired well with the garlic sauce. The chicken was next. It was flavorful tender. The rice and the perimayo corn balanced the tang and savoriness of the chicken. The perimayo isnt sweet, but slightly on the creamier side, which made it stand out as well. His recommendations for sides were the fries and rice, but I would recommend the corn too, especially if you love corn. The service and care of the customer was great, and the food was fantastic. I would definitely come back and also recommend the place to friends.

Honestly food is great but for some reason I ended up pulling an unreasonable amount of hairs out of the usual food that I get from them, I mean a hair is gross but not the end of the world but you get disgusted after pulling out 7 hairs. Definitely had to stop eating it and am quite frankly disgusted, please be mindful when you get some food from there.

Never order doordash from this location unless you want to be charged for items and not receive them. Not just once or twice but every single time I ve placed an order I have never received what I pay and ask for. Extremely disappointed.

Tried their fries and peri peri thighs and breast. It was juicy from inside and tasted really good ! The fries had different taste coz of their peri-peri seasoning. Overall 5/5 experience! Recommended dishes

Place has good food no doubt but they try to rip people off. I asked specifically for extra sauce and said I would pay for it. Then they charged me $3.95 for 8oz of white sauce and then during pick up the guy said I don t have 8oz containers filled so 4, 1oz containers = 8oz. Yeah ok, I was honest enough to say in the beginning charge me but I want my sauce and still got screwed. On top of that the guy had an attitude. Mind you the chicken rice plate costs $15.95 so technically not sure why they are stingy with sauce. Long story short I probably won t go back because they purposely lied to me when I ordered and then 10 mins later they said they have no containers.
