I enjoy walking and running around this trail cum Park. I would typically go on weekends during mornings after 8 am. It is a long trail, and you can get your long walks / running / cycling done. The downside of it is that - there are not many people around during weekdays and it can be overwhelming to be among the only few people on the empty trail ( specially towards the Royal Lane side)

I love this trail. So much to do (biking, walking, running, bird watching, paddling and more) Toilets: Multiple spots where you ll find clean restrooms. Dog-friendliness: Plenty of space and an equestrian trail for Dogs to enjoy (beware of insects and snakes) Picnic area: There are multiple picnic areas with tables.

A great trail and Park for individuals and families; centrally located with multiple easy access points and parking areas. The trails are paved, and adequately wide, making it suitable for safely riding a bicycle, inline skating , running , and walking without interfering with oncoming traffic, even on the weekends. The Park is inviting, well designed, well maintained, and clean. Someone can engage to activities such cycling (about 17 miles), running/walking, skating, soccer, softball, fishing (not sure if a permit or required to fish; must check with the local authorities having jurisdiction), finally it s ideal for picnics and family gatherings. Plenty of shade and amenities. Always advisable to secure your vehicle, park in a conspicuous area, and take all necessary safety precautions.

One of the best kept secrets in the Irving (Los Colinas) area. Perfect trails for walking, hiking or exercising. A perfect mix of Nature and City views on all sides. Safely tucked away on the border of Irving and Dallas. Very conveniently located with plenty of parking. If you re in need of a change of scenery, a safe and challenging place to work out or just want to go on a nature walk, this is the best place for you. A must visit.

Great trail with some amazing views off of their dirt trails. When the weather is nice its amazing. Plenty of shade on most of the concrete trail as well! Toilets: Porta Potty Restrooms scattered throughout. Dog-friendliness: Dogs on leashes have plenty of room to share the sidewalk. There is plenty of field space for a well trained dog to run around. Picnic area: One picnic area with parking lot down the trail.

The dandelions made the place super beautiful. There were plenty of small bodies of water and plenty of shade and bridges. 10 out of 10 I would go again. Its a great place to go with a friend or ride a bike or take a partner on causal date. Very close to a police station/outpost which adds a sense of security for most. Very very beautiful and decent length trail.

Long trail for cyclists... Also wide. Lots of pretty views. Hasnt been overly crowded, which has been a problem when I ride WRL area and sometimes trinity trails. I got about 14 miles in and didnt explore the whole trail. Ive heard it goes pretty far south so Im looking forward to seeing how far this trail goes. I also liked that theres a lot of water around, big open fields. DFW needs more trails like this.

Nice trail for a perfect weekend walk and bike ride. You could fly kites if weather permits and there are some areas where you could try that. I would definitely recommend to take a stroll on this trail when you have time. Fun time for kids as well. But the place is susceptible to flooding. So checkout the weather before heading to the place.
