Food was average and the service was extremely slow. Our waiter suggested a couple of items that turned out to be below average. I ended up leaving my credit card there after I payed the bill and trying the next day to find it was a hike. I spoke to 3 different people and finally they were able to locate it. Then the bar manager when I went to go pick up my lost credit card started saying how irresponsible I was for loosing my credit card and was totally drunk on his job. Bad management, average food, worse service AVOID please. Only good thing was the entire menu is gluten free with average tasting items. Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free

The waiter was welcoming and attentive, and even the manager checked on us. I had the stuffed avacotoes, and the taste popped with the zest of lime. My husband had the brisket enchiladas with chocolate Verde sauce. He was in heaven. Topped a delicious desert. The margaritas were also the best! We will be back!

Visited for 1st time. Recommended by a friend. I was expecting more for the prices. I wasnt impressed by the food or the atmosphere. Service was very attentive, may be a little much. Had a long conversation with server because he wont stop talking, I guess he didnt had many tables to care for that day. I didnt dislike it, just not my preference. I cant recommend it, but others may like this kind of fusion of cuisine. Id rather have something more traditional and at 1/3 of the price. Dietary restrictions: According to our server, everything is Gluten-free.

Oh my!!! Hugos Invitados is an absolutely HOME RUN!!!! Everything was fantastic. Nice vibe and food was top notch. The Pork Belly Chicharrdon is in a league of its own. This is a MUST MUST try . Kriss is the BEST waitress in the building. Ask for her all her recommendations were spot on. She is so very thoughtful, knowledgeable, and hospitable. Hugos is lucky to have such a wonderful employee.

We went there and the service was really messed up. 1/2 the table got water and 10 minutes later some got it and others had to ask for water Nothing was done for the whole table at any given time. Food and drinks came out a little at a time. The food was okay. It tasted fine. But 10 minutes between the first entree and the last being delivered. Food was expensive and had too much focus on a huge plate with 75% of the plate being empty. Lots of puree swirly patterns. Drinks were moderately priced but the tequila was ridiculously expensive. Although they had a huge tequila menu. Much cheaper at other restaurants. I enjoyed the company we had and had a good time. I found the place trying to play high end but couldnt pull it off. Theres a lot of other places to get better service with similar or better food quality. I wont be back.

Excellent restaurant in the Los Colinas area of Dallas/Irving. The food was well-prepared, tasty and the menu had lots of great options. Everything is prepared on-site from fresh ingredients. We sat in the bar area and service was attentive and helpful is choosing what to have. This is a good place to visit if you are staying in the Los Colinas area and is walkable from many of the hotels.

This place is Horrible. We went as a group of 7 for Dinner on a weeknight last week. The waitress took over 30 minutes to bring out our drinks and then another 20 minutes to take our food order. First of all, they took too long to get our first round of drinks ordered. Our family needed a high chair, and even then, it took them about 10 minutes to provide it. We waited around 20 more minutes before we were finally able to order our food. The appetizers arrived in about 15 minutes, but unfortunately, our main courses took about an hour. My husband ordered the octopus, which was both burnt and raw at the same time. He decided to send it back and let them know he did not want a replacement. However, when it came time to pay the bill, the octopus charge was not removed. Additionally, when we received our food, we found that none of the orders were cooked to our requested specifications. For example, we had ordered a steak to be well-done, but it was served rare. We waited so long that the restaurant was empty by the time we left. It s unfortunate that this was our experience, as the restaurant itself was quite pretty.

Overall nice experience, but with a couple comments. I will just say this first....the service was excellent and our waiter was top notch, friendly and responsive! #2 Restaurant is too loud. The place was not even full and we had to speak very loudly to each other. #3 Our table was way too small for 4 people. WAY too small. #4 Food was OK, but the entrée servings were small and I left feeling hungry. The desert WAS pretty good size. Pricing is way too high for the food. $109 for 2 people and that was for the lower end of the menu options, iced tea and 1 side dish that was not edible, (burned Brussel Sprouts). Not in a rush to go back.

Meet a few friends out for dinner after we saw an Instagram reel about Hugo s Invitados. The ambiance was great and the food was amazing! We had a wonderful server, Dylan, who made the dining experience exceptional. Dylan was very attentive and tended to our needs. The food portions were perfect and the drinks were strong! Talk about a swank little place! Everything about the decoration and vibe speaks to me and sold me on this place. Customer service was great - especially for a big party of 12. If youre not too worried about heat, they had their own DJ playing jams outside. The food was also not to disappoint. Yes I know... a little on the $$$ side, but the quality and flavor surely met expectations. Even the kids breakfast tacos came with 2 large tacos. This is the third year in a row Ive celebrated my birthday at Hugos, and Im beyond disappointed at the experience we had this year. I had reservations with a special request to sit near a TV for the final Stars game of the series, which the manger himself accommodated for us, however, failed to mention it was a cocktail table that would require service from the bar. We were never escorted to our table with menus and silverware, we stood around until I told our group to just go sit down. We sat around for 15 minutes without any service, I then walked back over to the same manager to notify him of the lack of service, to which he responded, Yeah, thats the bar area, service is from the bar. Never apologized for not being greeted or helped yet, or offered to grab someone for us, just, Yeah, thats up to the bar. 1. He shouldve disclosed that information to us before offering that table. 2. As management, maybe go and let your bar staff know you just sat a birthday reservation in their cocktail area and designate a person to take care of them. There were so many bartenders and barbacks behind that bar, theres no excuse as to why that couldnt have been arranged. I really hope this isnt yalls GM, because he seriously lacks leadership qualities you need to run a successful staff and restaurant. Service was slow the whole night, there were mistakes made on the check that they said they would remove, never did, and then the server refused to divide our checks, which has never been a problem before. Which is a problem, because if thats the case, then that needs to be a policy across the board, not just when a staff member decides that for themselves. Its lazy, just like the service that night. Then once everyone paid their auto grated tabs, the server added an ADDITIONAL auto grat on top of the tabs, then had to wait for them to sort that out. This was also the first time I wasnt brought a dessert at the end of the dinner. Why have people fill out a special requests or additional notes form on the reservation when youre not gonna pay attention to it. Your service shouldnt change just because youre in a cocktail area. Overall, such a horrible birthday experience, which is sad because I love the food here, but yall should really think about putting your staff, including management through additional training because yall really dropped the ball that day. It was so disappointing, I never write bad reviews, but this was so bad, I hope no one else ever goes through this on a day that was intended for celebration.

Didn t like the food the server gave us the wrong item many times during our visit. The atmosphere was good it s a nice restaurant but food wasn t worth the price at all. I wouldn t recommend going here for food i recommend going for drinks.

We went with my family to enjoy a nice dinner for my grandmothers birthday, but it didnt go well at all. The food took too long, the octopus was burnt, all the flavor was gone, and it tasted bitter. We didnt enjoy the meal because of the delay and the quality of the food. Although the picture look delicious it was burned.

After 30 minutes, waiter didnt come to take order, so manager said the 2 drinks are on them, for apology. 2 drinks totaled $29. They charged us for it. So I went to the manager again. Then he deducted $23. I didnt want to complain again, so we paid what they shortened us. I did mention that to the manager on the way out, but he said hes sorry, and didnt offer to refund us for it. Very slow, and bad service.

Hugo s is now one of my favorite Mexican style restaurants and it s so continently located in Irving! The food is so allergy friendly and tastes wonderful! The flavors are so wonderful and each dish is *chefs kiss*. The atmosphere was perfect and the service was amazing! It felt like a one Michelin star dining experience without that price tag! Would recommend to anyone wanting to try a great date night or family friendly dining experience! Dietary restrictions: My mom is gluten free and hand issues with ordering and their friers are even no gluten! Kid-friendliness: The space seemed great for kids

This Las Colinas gem offers delicious Tex-Mex fare with a focus on fresh, organic ingredients. Really bad service. I have given it so many tries cause it s one of the clean food and you have to wait so long for the food to come and they gave us a salad that has different ingredients and I was told because they have a new menu !!! Why is this menu given to me then? They don t even come to ask for refills , you have to stop them. Weather it s slow or busy, it s the same! Gave it a two instead of one cause the tuna tartare was good and this me being very fair ebb though a two shouldn t be given with the explanations they gave for their wrong salad ingredients and no apology and said next time you have to tell your waiter you don t want jalapeños on your salad! The house salad has no jalapeños on the menu so how would I know to ask for no jalapeños . Second salad come with no jalapena but a bug!!!!! Then getting the reciept they have the Courage to charge for the salad as well!!! Unbelievable!!!

Wasnt impressed. I asked for a patio table and the hostess would not sit us out n the patio even though there were many tables. Asked for salsa and the guy ignored me and the waitress only addressed my friend that was White and when addressing me she was condescending. Food was bland and over priced. Was sat in a very congested bar area in the back by kitchen. I felt because I was Black they tried to hide us.

Made reservations at the other location but moved them here due to distance..I love going to different places mostly for ambiance, and cocktails. We were seated quickly, host and entrance were great 5/5 Service took A while, although polite, it was not as I hoped. We arrived for a 9 pm reservation. Only 3 tables full, but getting our waiter was a task..I had to go ask host for help. 2.5/5 Food shrimp ceviche was nice fresh and flavorful 5/5 Beef Enchiladas pink meat, and a cheese sauce with a red chili taste. Not at all a fan 0/5 Rice was simple 3/5 Brisket tacos 5/5 Had a grilled pineapple cocktail unique and dark but nice 4/5 Sent the Enchiladas back, the undercooked meat ruined appetite. I didnt want anything after that experience. Bill was almost $80.00. Surrounding is very clean, lovely, sets a calm mood.. I dont think I will return back to this location, but maybe the Colony one to meet with the girls for a cocktail and a really cool environment.. This is only my opinion on my first time experience.

Okay this place has a class vibe! Extremely beautiful ambiance indoors and outdoors. Had an amazing dinner with my girlfriends. Drinks, appetizers, entrees and desserts. Everything is yummy. Staff was so kind that they made a special virgin beetroot drink be when I told I am pregnant and can t drink. They want to keep the mood alive which is great!

The food was spectacular, presentation was good. I was surprised by how well the skate was cooked and the consistency was perfectly on par with my expectations. The flavor was very well balanced. Cochinita pibil was awesome and very very filling exactly as I would have expected. Home made corn tortillas were out of this world. The only complaints I would have, would be that the waiter was quite absent from service when needed and had to request help from several other people throughout the meal. The waiter also did not know the origin of the skate and neither did the kitchen staff that cook it which seemed strange that they don t know the sourcing of food they serve. I would have expected the service or someone in the staff to know where the food they are serving is sourced. His simple response from the kitchen chefs was: under the sea. Very understated and generic response for such an upscale seeming restaurant. Overall I would return for the food, but service could improve greatly. The place is very loud though. Vegetarian options: A lot of fish dishes. Dietary restrictions: All gluten free menu! Parking: Garage behind restaurant is next.

Amazing restaurant. Great atmosphere, even better food, and friendly service. Everything we tried was amazing. The pork belly appetizers were good enough to be a meal on their own, the elote was the best I ve ever had, and seafood relleno was mind blowing. Don t forget to try the flan! This place is such a treat! We had the Octopus a la Parrilla for an appetizer and it was the best octopus I have ever had. For my entree I had the Wagyu Carne Asada and it was so well marbled and cooked to the perfect temp. My wife had the Pork Tomahawk and it was seriously delicious and tender and juicy. The cucumber Serrano top shelf margaritas were my new favorite. Sean, the GM, was so hospitable and made sure we were very well taken care of. We love this place and will be back very soon!

Please do not try to sell Wagyu Beef when it is not true. I have the opportunity to taste real Wagyu, even in Japan $34 for non-wagyu beef whatever cut is not honest. I have enjoyed your restaurant multiple times and take guests every time I can, but please, keep it honest.
