Mr. Roland Jeter handled a legal matter for my family. He was recommended by a friend and from the consultation to the handling of the legal matter all has went well. Mr. Jeter and wife are so loving and caring and made us feel so comfortable from the first visit. He was always there to answer all questions that we had and never was in a rush to end meetings or phone calls. He instructed us of all the procedures, documents needed, timeline on when paperwork would be filed and kept us informed on status at all times. Im extremely blessed Mr. Jeter and wife was there for me and my family. I will gladly let him handle legal matters for me in future. Pray God blesses his business for him being a blessing to others. Also his rates were really good, not trying to cheat people out of thier money.

I asked him to look over my Will 9 months before & he OKd it. This visit he said my Will wasnt done correctly. He told me because I didnt probate my husbands Will, I didnt own my house. Even tho everything was given directly to me & the house was put in my name, plus the deed said my husbands name and my name. Mr Roland bad mouthed me, my decisions, altho the Court had registered everything, Mr Jeter insisted my dead husband (40 yrs hes been dead) owned half the house & I owned half, & Mr Jeter said I couldnt do anything about it, that I couldnt sell the house or give it to anyone in my Will because I didnt own it, only half of it. However, I showed him the deed is in my name free & clear. I had even paid the house off over 32 years ago! I finally just picked up my papers, said Thank you for your time & left. Stay away from this man. He doesnt know what hes doing. His attitude is nasty about everything.

Mr. Jeter was able to get me in to see him quickly to discuss my case. He gave me best and worst case scenarios and was open and honest about all fees. He was able to get my case resolved with minimal fees. Many attorneys wanted triple what I paid. His paralegal was the best. She was always responsive and reassuring. I would refer them anytime!

Mr. Jeter was very professional and responsive. Covid kind of set us back a bit and the attorney for the other side did a lot of stalling, but Mr. Jeter got us through the legal process without too many bumps in the road.

Person that answered the phone sounded like she hated me for calling. I hung up.. Customer Service 101, put a smile on your face when you talk.. it comes through... Edit* Amazing... I have no idea what your are talking about, I am trying to find a lawyer to assist with changing the last name of my 4 person family. But goes to show that I made the right choice in not staying on the phone. Best of luck J. Roland Jeter, P.C. ***It doesnt look like anyone else can see it but me, but this placed responded to my review stating that they believe I was involved with someone else who was trying to make their business better or something. So Im not the only one that feels this way apparently. Anyways, avoid these guys. I ended up doing the name change myself and thankful I didnt have to give one dime to J. Roland Jeter, P.C.

Mr. Jeter did my parents wills many years ago. When my dad passed away 2 years ago Mr. Jeter and his staff were extremely helpful. The probate of the will went smoothly. I was able to appear in front of the judge on my mother s behalf since she was elderly and not in good health. When she passed away a few months ago this time we had to deal with their house. Once again, because of the way the will was done in the first place, probate went very smoothly. Through these tough emotional times, Mr. Jeter and his staff made things go very smoothly and gave me one less thing to worry about. Their personal touch and the concern they had for me as a person meant the world to me during a tough time.

Mistakes happen in life - Mr. Jeter and his firm realize that. I did a Google search when I needed representation, and his name came up immediately. Being an Irving resident, it was a name that I recognized and trusted. He has a solid understanding of my situation and has worked hard to represent me. He has always given me good counsel - he will not sugar-coat things and does his absolute best to be forthright with me through every step of the process. I have a family law case and wanted to set up a consultation. Prior to calling J Roland Jeters office I called the office of Dennis Crowman and spoke with the receptionist who told me Carol the paralegal was on the phone and she would call me back to set up an appointment. She asked my name and number for a callback. In the meantime I wanted to contact another law office the J Roland Jeter office. I spoke to the SAME receptionist I just spoke to although I called 2 different numbers. I was asking her if I called the correct number and she told me that she thought I was going with Croman I told her I would go with whomever I felt would they could help me with my case best. I assumed maybe this was an answering service for both lawyers. She told me she was the contact for Roland, placed me on hold and put another lady on the phone. I wasnt given a name but this woman was rude front the moment she picked up the phone. She told me it would be a conflict of interest and asked if I had an appointment set up. I told her I didnt have an appointment with Jeter or Croman. She told me that the attorneys were in the same building together. This prompted me to ask more questions as I was confused. I just wanted to know if they were part of the same law group as I was under the impression that these were SEPARATE law practices. I wanted to gain more insight on the situation so I could understand, but was told I was being defensive and I would have to call another law office and she hung up. I felt this woman was looking for a confrontation outside of the courtroom. I have no reason to be defensive as I was simply trying to gain understanding. This is no way to treat potential clients. My rating is purely based on how I was treated and not based on Jeter or Cromans actual work. I wish it could have been different and I wasnt treated so poorly. First impressions are everything. Clients should be spoken to and issues/conflicts should be explained as there websites/names do not reflect that they are part of the same law group.
