I can t say enough wonderful things about the Italian Cafe and its exceptional owner, Hari! We just wrapped up a fantastic live auction dinner event in the charming enclosed veranda, and it was a resounding success! I absolutely have to do a shout-out about the incredible appetizers and the mouthwatering main course buffet that was served. The food was truly outstanding delicious and with an amazing variety that everyone raved about. The staff was remarkable, expertly managing the needs of our group of over 60 guests with grace and efficiency. And of course, Hari went above and beyond to ensure our event ran smoothly. The ambiance was perfect, and the excitement in the room was shared by all. Everyone left raving about the experience! What a relaxing atmosphere friendly people but most of all great food.. I am a regular customer and am normally quite satisfied with my order but not today. Today I ordered takeout, a sausage and pepper sandwich and a crème brûlée. The sandwich was good as usual but the crème brûlée was disgusting. For a $20 lunch, I expect more. The custard was not prepared correctly because the egg had curdled and scrambled during preparation which gave the custard a very lumpy hard consistency where it should have been smooth. Apparently it was cooked too long or at too high a temperature. The glazed caramel on top should have been hard but it was runny, gooey and undercooked. Not happy for the $20 I paid.

Came from out of town and wish there was one where I live! I was craving chicken alfredo and this place came up on the search. I was super excited to find out they served fried zucchini too (hard to find where I live)! I came in knowing exactly what I wanted and I left 100% satisfied, and extremely full from the big portions. My husband got the pepperoni pizza and even that was really tasty. I love that the crust even has flavor. Everyone working here was also super friendly and helpful. Im sad to go home knowing that I wont be able to eat here for a long time!

We recently tried Italian café in Las Colinas and highly recommend it! From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch. We had lots of questions about which options would meet our dietary restrictions (no pork, no gluten). The staff answered all of our questions and we felt they were happy to help. The owner/chef surprised us with a complimentary salad. They offer fantastic gluten-free options, and the chef personally ensured everything was safe for celiacs, which gave us peace of mind. My husband ordered the chicken parm, and he said it was the best he s ever had. I ordered gluten free pasta and it was delicious. Whether you re gluten-free or not, this place is a must-visit!

Its my favorite place to enjoy Italian food. Amazing service from Luis. The staff amazing just need to smile more lol but there kind from you walk in to the time you walk out. Bellissima view around the area if you want to walk off what you just ate 5 stars 4 years ago.... I havent been in Italian Cafe in that long period of time. Walking in i had no one greet me. Or no one took my order they mentioned just want to the ordering side. The chicken Cesar salad is okay the Cesar dressing taste nothing like Cesar dressing. The chicken is so dry. I had no croutons. The lasagna not the same. Its so dry and the edges are ruff on lasagna. I had no waiter come up to me even during 12pm I over paid

On a recent business trip, our group stopped here for dinner. From the waitstaff, bartender & owner everyone is making sure you are taken care and are enjoying your meal. The service, food and drinks are Supreme! Quick service, and friendly faces. TVs to watch the game! On to the food...Garlic Bread...Wow!!! While on a business trip a group of us were looking for a place for dinner and Italian Cafe was the suggestion. From the moment we walked in the door to time we walked out, the staff and owner were absolutely fabulous. They quickly made room for the 6 of us and had waters and drinks out immediately. Multiple people came by and checked on us while we dined. The food was exceptional. The owner personally visited us at our table and was super enjoyable to talk with. There is no doubt that when we are back in Irving area we will return and have no reason to look further for another place to eat. If we had more time we would go back before returning home to Florida. Great food and experience. Top notch.

5 stars isn t enough for this place. Our group of 6 were visiting for a work event and stopped in for dinner. Not only were we sat immediately, the food was incredible, and service was incredibly quick - but didn t lack Texas hospitality. I wish I would have taken photos but needless to say there wasn t anything left by the end. Everyone at our table talked about it for the rest of the trip. I hope I find myself in Dallas again to come back!

Their food is absolutely amazing! There was a table of 10 of us and everyone raved about how good their food was. I personally had the salmon and shrimp risotto with pesto. It was plated beautifully and I have never had risotto taste so good. If you are in the area, do not miss the opportunity to eat here. I only made two errors while here; first was that I forgot to take a picture of our food and the second was that I didn t have room for dessert.

I found this place a couple of weeks ago when i was looking for Terimasu for my friend for his birthday. O thought this would be a nice place to eat. I went back today with my dear friend Theresa, for our annual Christmas lunch. I had the chicken picata, and she had the chicken parmesan . We were both very pleased with our selections. This is our usual go-to spot for Italian food, bus today the food was a bit disappointing. We had the rigatoni toscana and the bottom portion of the food was hot while the top portion was cold, specifically the chicken. Our appetizer came in at the same time as our entree. We were disappointed that they stopped serving the pita bread with the stuffed mushrooms as this was one of our favorite things about this place. The first waitress was not very polite, didn t greet us just asked what are you guys drinking . A smile goes a long way. It was as if she did not want to be there. Disappointed.

Ok this time they definitely got my order wrong. My job placed an order once again for our team meeting. This time because I knew they dont offer a low calorie healthy plain ol veggies and salmon meal on their menu (maybe they take special request if you call in one item but again this was a group order placed by management. No time to pacify everyones special requests so I just ordered a small panzanella salad. Another coworker ordered a greek one. We ended up with 2 greek salads. Disappointing but once again tasted great nonetheless. My salad shouldve had prosciutto on it and a Dijon dressing. Definitely not what I got. Previou review: Salmon capricosa So I had to do this detailed review because i dont want anyone to end up like me thinking they were given the wrong item. I ordered the Salmon capricosa. The website says Pan roasted veggies and citrus sauce. That doesnt even come close to what youre getting because I was expecting a light and healthy dish. Just salmon and veggies no pasta no carbs while everyone else would end up with the pasta food baby. Haha BOY WAS I WRONG!!!! this comes with risotto (rice!!!) and a cream sauce. Very heavy! The veggies and salmon were cooked to perfection. It all tasted splendid together its just totally not what I wanted. It was part of sizeable to go order and so when it was handed to me I thought it was wrong. I called in later that day to ask what i was actually given and i was told what i got is the correct item. The citrus part just goes on the salmon itself in the cooking process. Wish they would add all the extra detail in the description of the item but oh well. Sigh

This place exceeded my expectations. I am a huge mushroom fan. I have found not 1, not 2, but 3 delicious mushroom options here. Excellent italian cafe/bar in Las Colinas. Great food at a reasonable price which is always important. The gratis bread is such a big draw too and delicious. We loved the Shrimp and Grits, Stuffed Mushrooms, and the Calzone. I had never had Cacio e Pepe before, but it was not my favorite pasta as it wasnt as cheesy as I would expect. The Shrimp was great but I wish it was $4 dollars instead of $5 extra as it makes a Shrimp pasta dish $18 for lunch.

We recently visited Italian Café (we have been here before) and thought it would be relevant to mentioned.. service and food are consistently THE GREATEST! They have plenty of seating and even an area outside, if you bring your dog along. These past time we visited, I ordered the Rigatoni Toscana pasta, and It was very delicious! All flavours complemented each other! We also had a pepperoni pizza and some Cafe focaccia. Everything was HOT (freshly made) and our waiter (Santos) was absolutely professional making sure all tables/customers were taken care of. (In fact all the staff do make sure all customers are taken care of) If you find yourself around, I definitely recommend this spot!!

My boss and staff brought me here on Administrative Assistants day, it was our first time, I have to admit it was THE BEST! Everything that we had was delicious. We called as soon as we were driving to the restaurant, by the time we got there, they had the table reserved for us! :-) Service was exceptional, Restaurant was clean, tables were cleaned off pretty quick. Overall, our experience was by far outstanding! However, today its a different story.. :-( I was craving their Chicken Parmigiana, which is what I had the first time (and I loved it), sadly it was not as good as I remembered it to be. The chicken was overcooked/deep fried, it was dry. They brought me a new plate, however it was the same scenario, the chicken was overcooked and dry, again they offered to make me a new plate, but my lunch was over and I needed to return to work. All of their food is amazing, not sure what happened today, but I still plan on returning, I will just try something different. Staff is amazing, and they do what is needed to fix the problem, that alone speaks volumes! Parking: Parking around the building is in the parking garage.

Since moving to this area a year ago, this restaurant has been my comfort place. The food is so delicious and made the same way every time. The staff is so kind and fun to talk to. Sat 7pm. I see five employees with no face coverings at all. This is against state mandate. How can this be happening? I am at elevated covid risk. Careless and irresponsible... Mon 723pm. Multiple employees not wearing masks. Unacceptable. Please remove me from your Grubhub delivery driver platform. Just got order that is 15 miles from your restaurant. Almost every dfw restaurant has a delivery radius of under ten miles. This is unfair for customers and drivers. These orders will not be delivered. You have the ability to set or modify your delivery radius on your Grubhub tablet. On that same tablet you can have me removed.

The absolute best spot for all three! Food Service and Atmosphere! The best Italian food in Texas for me! I went and gave the cook a if that says anything. You have got to try. Parking is a little tricky at night, due to the area. Parking: Dont come starved or you will be pissed if you dont find a parking spot. Theres a lot beside that is available till late night.

Nothing exciting, I didnt like the taste, Chicken Piccata was full of lemon, looks like the person used 3 times of lemon compared to what they could have used. It was tough to find parking at that location. Overall I would say there are better choices available in the area as an alternative.

This place was awesome for a big order! We did a team dinner at a hotel near by and they were to notch. The service was amazing and the food was sooo good. They deliver d the food ahead of schedule, kept communication with me the whole time, and set up the meal. When placing the order on the phone, they listened, accommodated, and were very knowledgeable with what I was looking for! The team said it was the best meal they had all season. I will order from them again really soon!

I am a transplant from Central California where there is a local Italian Family Restaurant that makes the BOMB Spaghetti. I have searched in the DFW area for this dish without success. Im just going to say, garlic bread(cant call that garlic bread) is just absolutely AMAZING!! Get it get it get it. Ravioli..rigatoni(lunch or dinner version)& pappardelle Ala chef..by far the best things on the menu so far. Great location, Great service, Food is really delicious, portions are really large, pics show all, Garlic bread, slow cooked beef, Irish coffe, and Cannoli, The only critics is the cannoli shel was super hard I did not enjoy as rest of food. Overall I recommend for any one to go there and enjoy.
