I am extremely disappointed with the service from this bakery. We pre-ordered and paid for a cake for my son s birthday, with a confirmed delivery time of Sep 27th 5:30 PM in Plano, TX. Unfortunately, they failed to deliver the cake, leaving us embarrassed and without a centerpiece for our celebration in front of family and friends. Despite our excitement for this special day, their lack of professionalism ruined the experience. I would strongly advise against relying on this bakery for important events.

Me and my friend went to try puff and pastries here. But when we went over there 1. they didnt care of us usually when customer comes they should be welcoming and check what they need there are 2 people in front one girl and a boy The boy he was busy with his phone seeing some youtube videos on his phone and the girl she was just watching the songs which were playing on TV. May be this is how the owner taught them to work and treat a customers like this with full of attitude. 2. We looked out the pastries they were so dried may be its been like they kept in for a weeks and checked on to snacks section nothing was there And asked to a girl about egg puff. She arrogantly has answered it. 3. When we entered to hot breads we got weird smell. Atleast spray some fresheners around dine in area. maintain clean I have never ever seen such a disgusting customer service and food items I recommend to you if you dont want to run a business just close it or sell to others.

Got take out with a boneless mutton biryani combo. Wait was perfectly reasonable. The food is hot and delicious! There were two sides, a side of naan, sauces, and sweet dessert. We also got some bakery sweets and a side of samosa! Were out of town and just decided to stop by without reading any reviews. I think if you like Indian food, have a reasonable spice tolerance, and are not in a rush, this is a wonderful establishment!!!! 5/5 stars, will definitely come back when Im in town again!

NEVER ORDER A CUSTOM CAKE FROM THIS PLACE! This is hands down the worst bakery I ve ever dealt with. They have zero creativity and absolutely no clue about cake design. I ordered a two-tier cake for pickup at 4 PM, but when I got there, they fed me nothing but excuses, delaying the pickup by over two hours. I didn t get the cake until 6:30 PM, which meant our event started late because of their incompetence. And the cake? An absolute joke. The top tier looked like a pathetic little hat on a massive elephant s head. It was hideous and embarrassing, nothing like what we asked for. If you re thinking of ordering a custom cake from this place, DON T. They re only good for basic, single-piece cakes at best. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else!

One of the bad experiences and worst service. Food was so bad and the employees don t even bother to hear our concern. The restaurant was unclean and most of the tables were not cleaned. The tables were with left over plates and food with bad odor. Kind request to totally avoid this place. If you still wish to go, take paper towel,soap to wash your hands first and then table cloth to clean by yourself. Food was horrible and the safest food I recommend is dosa since it is made fresh and no way to cheat. Rest all your courage that will make you go here.

We placed an order for birthday cake almost 4 days in advance and paid $80 for 3 lb cake. They gave me window of 12 -2 pm to pick up cake I drove 30 m to get the cake and reached there at 130 pm. Cake was not there and it was told to me to come after 3 pm. I told them I came from far and I can t come so can you deliver it. It was not my fault even though they just don t entertain. I asked my friend to pick cake and to our shock the cake was like some amateur made in rush. We never had such pathetic cake in our life. We ordered mango flavor and this had no flavor. The cake was full of color which will not get out of your fingers. The worst part is if you call them they act like they just don t care. Such embarrassment in front of our guests when we cut this cake.

I recently visited Hot Bread on MacArthur Blvd in Irving to purchase an eggless cake. Unfortunately, after eating it, my family and I experienced severe stomach issues. The service was very poor, particularly from an older man who I believe might be the owner; he never smiled or showed any courtesy. We also ordered biryani, which had a strong smell of oil and was extremely greasy. To make matters worse, we found a hair in our samosa. When I spoke to the older man about these issues, he responded dismissively, saying that he still has customers even if we don t come back. Overall, the food was very unhygienic, and the service was terrible. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I ordered one chicken biryani takeout for lunch today. Didnt know they had buy one get one free special running until I went there to pick it up. Got home to eat it and it smelled and tasted weird. It was inedible. No wonder they had a special running. We used to like this place. Their quality has gone down significantly. Stay away from this place if you dont want to get sick. We often go to this place for getting the birthday cakes. The black forest cake reminds me of the cake that we used to have back in our country Nepal, which is not quite what we get around here. One of the weirdest place I ordered food from. When you order the food it goes to third party and they will place order for you. I ordered some food and it was very specify and i tried to call them back them, they created a request for me and told they can fix it next time. When ordered the food next time they tried to give 15% off when I had to throw the old order. Anyways I feel they can prepare the food anyway and expect you to pay rather then helping customers. I hope im the last person who faced that issue with them.

Ordered a 2 pound mixed fruit cake (made sure over the phone that it has fruits inside) for our anniversary. This place is absolutely disgusting. I went here today for the first time ever. I asked the lady questions as it was my first time and she spoke so low, I couldn t hear a word she was saying and the music was playing. On the digital display Menu they have a price of $12.99 for a Chicken dum biryani but they charged $14.99 for it. That comes under FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. When asked the lady on the counter she said those prices are old and need to be updated. Hot Breads is a great place for Indian snacks and cakes. The place is quite spacious for dining in and has great desserts. Black forest cake (cost 25$) is one of the two eggless cakes in the menu that I would definitely recommend. Gulab jamun pastry is a must try for people fond of Indian sweets. The bread is fresh and almost melts in the mouth when you eat the cake. The icing is appropriately spread and not too much which otherwise makes it difficult to eat the cake. Packaged plum cake is available in different quantities and is good in taste. Vegetarian options: Black forest cake is good when looking for vegetarian cake options.

Do NOT order the following items: 1. Vada sambhar (reason: uncooked Vada and sambhar with inadequate amount of salt) 2. Idli (reason: one of the chutneys was spoilt) 3. Chole (reason: too salty) gobi manchurian was too high on the sauce, but tasted ok. Would probably avoid in the near future. Togo:We got chicken lollipop, schezwan chicken fried rice. It was too bad and oily taste. Kids had the egg fried rice in the restaurant while we were waiting for the Togo order. As soon as we came home they thrower up the food. 2 out of 3 kids are throw up the food. Beware if you are ordering food for kids. Highly not recommended. Extremely disappointing... Added the picture of egg fried rice. Dont look like a chef cooked food.. unprofessional taste

I have been Ordering food from this Hotel for a while now. Most of the times the food was above Average. Keema Biryani is really good one here. But I had bad experience recently when I dine in there. I have ordered Malia Chicken and they have served improperly cooked Chicken. I have requested them to recook better. And they were not ready to do it and simply told that it will be like that only. And Waiter was not even worried to answer and left from there which is really bad. And I do have ordered Pesarattu (Moongdal Dosa). Which is also the same way and didnt even cook properly. They replaced it but it was really awful that most of my order was not properly cooked. I didnt experience like this before.... Overall this place can be visited once...

The cakes here are absolutely amazing, especially the eggless ones. However, the customer service is the worst customer service I have encountered in my life. I first tried ordering a cake at the Hot Breads Plano location. At the Plano location I tried to order an eggless cake. The guy then asked me to call back in 10 minutes the place the order, which was odd to me but I said okay. After 10 minutes, I called back again and they kept ignoring my call. I called a total of 11 times throughout the evening, and my call was ignored. So then, my husband tried to order from Hot Breads Irving today - farther from the Plano location but we really wanted to get an eggless cake from here. When my husband called, the man who picked up asked him to call back in 10 minutes. He called after 10 minutes, and the worker then told him to call after 5 minutes. So my husband waited another 5 minutes. The third time, no one picked up his call. He kept calling throughout the day, and eventually someone pick up the call but hung up on him immediately - it looks like they were trying to avoid him. After work, I called them from my phone, and a guy picked up. He then told me that I cannot place an order for an eggless cake over the phone (which is a lie because I have had cakes from here twice already) and that I have to come in person, order a cake in person and wait 1 hour in the store to pick up the cake. All I wanted was to get a cake for my mom on Mother s Day!! It s ridiculous that they treat their customers this way!! All we asked for was a 2lbs eggless cake, if they cannot do that they should just tell us so we don t waste our time calling them. I loved their cakes so I m extremely disappointed that they treat their customers horribly. I would avoid this place at all costs, not putting my money here.

Hot breads are famous for bakery items. No doubt you will find best cakes, perfection, not too sweet, good flavors. I love this place for cake only. Other food we tried, Uttapam - do not try this item in hot breads. It is as thin as dosa, sambar and chutney are not that good Chat items - not recommended, dont even consider to try Samosa- ~too small, top oily, not recommended Chicken biryani - no comments, nor recommended.

I have visited this place many a times but today i loved it all the more everything was good from soup , starters, main dinner and last masala tea, loved it and wanted to mention about one girl who was serving today 12th april in late evening mentioning date so that the message reaches her as i dont remember her name , she has always been sweet, kind in taking orders and was never a bit frustrated whatever i asked her, so thank you and keep up the good food.

If you want to spoil your birthday party then order a birthday cake from this Location. We ordered birthday cake butter scotch one day ahead through phone call and paid the amount 1day before itself. On the day of pickup, They told us our order is not in their system and given different flavor cake(black Forrest)as we took it as there is no other option. And another sad part is the alternative cake that we got is tasteless and is of full dry. We are shocked and visited the store and asked about tasteless and dry cake and to our surprise we got a response from old man from Kitchen saying cake will be like this only. We are once again shocked as we had many cakes from them at Plano location and it was tasty. Don t know what to say they spoiled our entire birthday party. Never ever going to try in this location. Customer Service is worst. There is no negative or zero rating else I could have given for their service.

DO NOT BUY Puri/Poori or Chapati here. Poori is cooked like Tortilla shell (hard like chips). And Chapati is cooked like tortilla wrap, mostly raw dough. They need to hire people in the kitchen who can make Indian food (the indian way). Way too many shortcuts compromises quality. Samosa and Bhaturas are good but too little quantity. They don t give chutney with samosa and only one bhatura and chana just enough touch (way too little quantity).
