This is a cute museum in NE Houston. Its a great place to visit if youre picking someone up at IAH and have an hour to burn. Its free! The museum is small, but packs a lot of local history. I especially liked the exhibits showcasing local historic businesses. I learned about an upscale French restaurant, Chez Nous, and dined there after picking up my friends at the airport.

Really nice to see the History of Humble. Place was a ghost town basically. Kind of eerie to walk through alone. Id never noticed it tucked away before and have lived in the city a good while. Admissions are always free apparently so if you wanna kill some time its worth the venture.

Today I decided to go to a museum dedicated to the town Ive been living in since 2017 Humble Texas which is located north of Houston. The Humble Museum is small but, it is packed with alot of History going back to the beginning. There were stories n people that I didnt know Lived and died to make Humble what it is today. There is plenty for young kids to see. The place is clean with air conditioning to stay cool during the Hot summer months. Admission is free but, it would be great if you made a small donation at the exit. So if youre in the area stop by to check it out.

Humble Museum is a hidden gem tucked away near downtown Humble. It s a relatively small building but chocked fill of local history. It covers Humble s early days. The first discovery of oil. It captures stories about local pioneers and modern day leaders. There s period photographs, furniture, memorabilia and story boards. It s definitely worth a visit. I believe entrance is free.

Fun and free museum showing off some history of Humble, Texas. Learned a lot about the little city just outside Houston. As might be expected, the narrative was scrubbed a bit, so theres limited mention of Native Americans and race is talked about as well, everyone was racist so what were we to do... Learned about Bordersville, so that was interesting. Plenty to learn at this museum, with lots of great photos, artifacts, and stories of how Humble came up be.

I drove by to assess an update and here it is. I posted photos looking inside from the front door window. I did not observe any flood damage but its not open either. While I was onsite, about 10 minutes, a family of four arrived to find the doors locked. It is disappointing that there was not a sign posted explaining the current status. Aloha
