Although I was not a direct client I am sharing the experience I saw my mother deal with this firm. In the beginning her time with the firm was great, but unfortunately now that the relationship has ended (after almost 2 years) she is without a doubt deeply disappointed and left scrambling to find legal counsel elsewhere. Initially, my mom chose this firm because of their reputation and expertise and assurance that they could resolve the matter. After all this time the issue remains unresolved, which is incredibly disheartening. Recently, she received notice that they would be withdrawing as her legal representation. This decision felt abrupt and left us questioning whether my mom was dropped as a client without a proper explanation. The lack of transparency is concerning, especially considering the amount of money she has invested in their services. I would advise anyone considering this law firm to proceed with caution. It s crucial to feel supported and valued as a client, and unfortunately her experience turned out to be the opposite. UPDATE - There response told me everything I needed to know. I know all the facts and the firm wasn t honest about there reason for withdrawing. Also the pro bono part is false as payments were being made monthly.

So all the horrible attorney jokes and references that you ve ever heard They are true. Basically was told that because they cannot milk my situation for additional money that they were not willing to help me. Anybody that s ever been in a car wreck knows that sometimes you don t start exhibiting symptoms for weeks or even months. And yet because I did not call them the day of the accident they re unwilling to help me out. Thanks for nothing.

Kim and her team are absolutely stellar! From my first day there to my last I was treated like family. I never had to introduce myself or say why I was there, they knew exactly who I was. After a long 4 years, my case was settled and I was extremely pleased with the outcome. They made the entire process stress-free and walked with me every step of the way. I am an older lady that lost her husband after 60 years of marriage. I had no idea what to do about the business of settling his estate. Luckily I found the Spurlock Law Firm. While I would really rather not need the services of an Attorney, I have and have had a great experience with the Suprlock Law Firm. Kim and her staff have been outstanding. They have guided me through some very tough times and have represented me above and beyond. We had a relatively awful experience with this attorney. We hired them for a case we were involved in regarding our company but ended up with some personal issues regarding our home burning down, a construction company that rebuilt it, and the insurance company that was supposed to pay for it. We were swapped around from attorney to attorney. Eventually we were dealing with an attorney named Misty. She and the owner Kimberly got in some sort of fight that we got caught up in the middle of. I have the emails and the phone calls recorded to show how it was just a catfight and I was not comfortable being involved in it. misty ended up either quitting or being fired I m not sure which but not before Misty sent out a demand letter in our name that was completely inaccurate. It said nothing about what we needed and claimed a bunch of things that we didn t. we were then charged for that 600+ dollars and when I emailed We were then contacted by the owner Kimberly that she would personally take over our case. She did nothing for us except refund the 600. She then stated she was going to go to our home and walk it with a friend of hers who was in the construction business or something like that. She also stated that she was going to get really aggressive with our builder. None of that happened. In the end we were very disappointed and sent a very strongly worded letter about our disappointment in their services. We were told in no uncertain terms that we are being dropped his clients even from our business case which had nothing to do with our personal case. When I went to pick up the folder at their office I was greeted with a hearty hello and a smile until I stated my name and what I was there to pick up..None of that happened. In the end we were very disappointed and sent a very strongly worded letter about our disappointment in their services. We were told in no uncertain terms that we are being dropped his clients even from our business case which had nothing to do with our personal case. When I went to pick up the folder at their office I was greeted with a hearty hello and a smile until I stated my name and what I was there to pick up. Then it was met with rudeness. All they did was make a bunch of copies of a bunch of emails that I sent them. Which they complained about because they told me to email them my receipts and Google photos only allows you had to attach so many files to an email. They complained about everything. Do not use this law firm if you want to get anything done and do not believe anything they say. Also, when I told her I was going to be leaving a review and reporting her to the BBB. Kimberly Spurlocke told me in writing that I should consult counsel before doing so. So she just basically threatened me that I couldn t do this. Fact of the matter is when you don t do what you say you re going to do for a client they leave a review ..

Had a meeting scheduled for 10:30 am. I received a call at 9 am stating that the attorney was not available today. I was asked to reschedule in 5 days. When I informed the receptionist that I had taken the day off from work she told me that she would check and see if they could squeeze you in. I was then told that I could have a phone consultation for 30 minutes, or a 2 hour phone consultation at 6 that evening. I have wasted my PTO. I am days behind now that Ill be seeking other counsel. This is highly unprofessional. As anyone who has gone through this knows, every hour is important. I am now setback days. They have done well by others based off of the reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was much different.

Kim was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was on top of everything, kept us informed along the way and never hesitated to respond to questions. Negotiating with the insurance company on our own became a futile effort so we asked Kim for her help. We worked with her for a little over 12 months and throughout this time period she successfully reduced the cost of our medical bills, and ultimately arrived at a fair settlement that was far above the insurance companies original offer. She saved us a considerable amount of time and stress and we could not be more pleased with her work and the outcome of the settlement.
