The rudest person you will ever talk to! Be careful before you spend $300 on her. She will rush you during your conversation, does not listen, and extremely unprofessional. DO NOT PAY!!! she does not care about anyone s situation. Don t listen to the positive reviews because they are a lie. Trust me when i say, find someone else. She legit just screams at you the entire 30 minutes.

Pros: Very responsive, makes you feel supported. Cons: She will hang you out to dry when you need an advocate the most. My husband retained her to represent him in a high-conflict child custody modification case. For nearly six months, we provided her with documented examples of his ex-wifes antics, not to mention that his ex-wifes lawyer repeatedly disrespected the legal system, so we thought wed be ok come mediation and, if necessary, at trial. A week or two before mediation, Elizabeth told my husband she did not think he had a case for becoming the custodial parent, despite the fact that he has a job and a home, neither of which his ex-wife has (her parents even paid for her scumbag lawyer). Instead, Elizabeth said she would fight to keep the decree as-is (50/50 custody and expenses, no child support). This was the first red flag. Then, two days before mediation she told my husband the mediation was scheduled for only 4 hours, not 8. She said she was confident they could get a deal in that time. I knew that wasnt true because I knew who was on the other side - a high-conflict narcissist who never backs down. That was the second red flag. Then in mediation came the complete 180. The two attorneys mediated for hours on one issue when there were several issues to address. Then Elizabeth blindsided my husband with a MSA that made his ex-wife the custodial parent and gave her the maximum amount of child support allowed by the state. My husband walked out of mediation without signing it. The next day, Elizabeth called me to try to convince me that this was a good deal in hopes that I would convince my husband, even going so far as to tell me things about MY OWN LIFE that I knew were not true. She did not convince me. Later that night, she emailed my husband with an ultimatum: sign the MSA or sign a document that said he wont sue her for malpractice. She also said that if he signed neither, she would withdraw representation. He ended up signing the MSA and fired Elizabeth anyway. We have since consulted with several other attorneys, all of whom were mystified at what happened, said a 4-hour mediation was ridiculous, and that the ultimatum was in very bad taste. Bottom line: Find another attorney. She was outlawyered by an amateur and covered by forcing a bad deal. And everything I predicted would happen as a result of the MSA is happening now. At the childs expense.

I am an attorney and use Elizabeths services often for mediation. Elizabeth is well-versed in family law and is very effective. Her no non-sense attitude may be misinterpreted at times as being harsh but the more I mediate with Elizabeth, I appreciate her efforts to go beyond just carrying offers back and forth and actually attempt to help parties come up with creative solutions. As always, lawyers have to determine many factors in choosing a mediator for their clients, on a case-by-case basis, and I will continue to use Elizabeth given those factors.

This has been the most unprofessional law office I have ever come across. I wish I read the reviews before paying them $250, hopefully my review will save others. The lawyer is extremely rude and sarcastic. She did not provide any legal advice during consultation. The phone call was less than 3 minutes. I feel robbed of my $250 from these people just as other people who have left negative reviews.

Its interesting that Ms. Pagels reviews are either 5 stars or one star (there was one, two-star review, I believe, to be fair). Its also intriguing that seven (7) or so of her other clients (or potential clients) wrote about their negative experiences with this lawyer, (see reviews here, on Avvo, and Birds Eye) all sounding strikingly similar to my own disturbing experience with her. I guess all eight (8) of us were experiencing the stress phenomena Ms. Pagel writes about in her comments, below. More likely, however, Ms. Pagel capitalizes on patronizing and irrelevant comments like these to deflect against her inexcusable, mistreatment of others. Her comments also seem designed to create a false, but grandiose, sense of her self-assigned superiority. In my opinion, Ms. Pagels 5-star reviews are mostly, suspiciously generic and appear to be written by young adults around her sons age. From what I saw, Pagels son, Bryce, is her only employee. I did not see any team, at her office, as is often referred to in several of this lawyers glowing, five star reviews. I saw Bryce Pagel, and his mother, Elizabeth Pagel, in the otherwise, small, vacant office and parking lot. I dont recommend this lawyer or her team.

Unprofessional, seems in rush, was cutting off very frequently and not listening client questions, paid 250$ for divorce consultation, she hardly spent 10 min and referenced other attorney stating I do not have any expertise about international marriage law, then why did schedule me and charged fee when she didn t have of knowledge to give advice for cases of settling international marriages at US though as I already provided my case background information that includes international details, to her office scheduler. She even made emotional to cry, DO NOT WASTE YOUR THREE DIGITS $$$ FOR JUST CONSULTATION WHEN YOU LEFT OUT WITHOUT ANY LEGAL ADVICE.

I went to this woman for a divorce consultation. After paying her $250 and trying to describe what was happening, she keeps cutting me off and not even letting me finish what I was trying to say. She is rude, unprofessional, doesn t listen to what you are telling her and had no personality at all. After less than 30 minutes she said I am too busy for this and can t help you. Maybe she is just busy giving $250 consultations all day long? Don t waste your money with this woman. If I could give her zero stars I would because that is what this woman is, a total zero.
