We walked in and were were told sit where you want . We took a seat and sat for 10 minutes without anyone coming to talk to us. As we sat there everyone else walking in was being sat by the hostess with menus, (we never received menus). We decided to walk out and go to the first watch down the street. We had a much better experience there.

I m so embarrassed to say the least, at the service my wife and our family just received. I come here often and I decided to bring my wife to the particular location. We were treated disgusting and nothing was done by management. The manager acted oblivious and ignorant to every point brought up after our table was purposely, knowingly given away. She said she would find us tables but just stood there looking around because it was obvious that the only room available for a family of 8 was the tables that were given away. She didn t offer an apology or a solution. The hostess and the manager needs more training. This experience has me never waiting to go here again. We were celebrating my promotion. Imagine, going somewhere to celebrate an accomplishment with smiles, and leaving hungry with upset faces. Big disappointment!

I came here today with my blk family, we reserved online (3-13 minute wait) and set for over 30 minutes(no problem). We got our text that our table was ready. I was told by the hostess they were cleaning these two particular tables, getting them ready for our family. A Mexican hostess takes a Mexican family (her family it seemed like because the way they were talking/laughing prior) and sits them in our seats. The other hostess told her that s their seats theyve been sitting here waiting, and reserved before them. The Mexican hostess shruggs her shoulders. I asked for the manager, they did ABSOLUTELY nothing about it. She s like Give us a moment we ll find you seats No sympathy!! No empathy!!! Nothing!!! It was an absolute horrible experience! So we just left!! Do not go here if you have any plans on being treated equally or fairly. As a business owner, that manager handled the situation horribly & I d never hire her in my establishments. You should have people skills, problem solving skills and more. She lacked all the above. Please someone from corporate reach out to me. I will take this further.

The wife and I had an opportunity to visit this establishment today, and we are glad we did! They have great menu items, and the service was amazing! I will mention that the kitchen forgot to add an item to my omelet but still made it to my other specifications. We had Jaela and Kayla! These two ladies were awesome! They answered our every call and with absolute joy. We will definitely be back! Kid-friendliness: its a great kid friendly atmosphere.

My kids talked highly of this restaurant so I had to judge it for myself and trust me I was not disappointed at all. They shouldn t advertise hash brown, it s a hash brown casserole. did not look like two eggs and the food was really cold by the time I arrived at the table. Service was straight trash. There s like 5 hosts standing at the door when you walk in & no one greeted me. I finally went & sat at the bar, the bartenders attitude was unapologetically rude & of course I wasn t greeted.when I sat down, she just walked right up & wiped the table & kept going as if I wasn t even there. My family and I recently visited the Humble Tx location while in Houston, based on a recommendation from family. The location was conveniently close to our hotel, which was a plus. The overall experience was mixed. Our server was absolutely fantastic attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome. My husband enjoyed the shrimp and grits, and my aunt and I had the toasty yolk, which was pretty good. However, the cheese potatoes were cold and had to be sent back, which was disappointing. My uncle ordered the two eggs meal and seemed satisfied with it. As for the coffee, it was too dark for my taste, but my uncle enjoyed it. While some aspects of the meal were enjoyable, the issue with the cold food was a letdown. With a bit more attention to the food temperature, this place could be great.

Let me start by saying I love the Toasted Yolk, however this location just isn t it. I came on a Saturday morning and it s clear they can t handle a crowd. Many tables that arrived after us received their food before us. The brisket scramble and brisket tacos were runny. After sending them back I ordered shrimp and grits with salmon added (an almost $30 meal) only to get out of the restaurant and see that they did not put the shrimp in it and also cut up the salmon (I m assuming because it wasn t a full piece). I was here for almost 2 hours and not because I wanted to be. Visiting this location was the biggest waste of time, as the service and food were both terrible. I don t know what happened or what changed, but they need to do better.

Honestly, the breakfast was very bland. Lacked depth and flavor. Just wasn t tasty. The pancakes were huge and looked inviting. IMO pancakes and eggs are very difficult to mess up taste wise and yet Cute atmosphere and very good service. The hashbrown casserole is my absolute favorite fish to order at Toasted Yolk. The homemade blueberry donuts are TO DIE FOR. Ive never had a better donut. Shipleys donuts had nothing on this donut. Two thumbs up for sure. Kid-friendliness: Children are welcomed.

This last time the wait was longer and I was furious so we actually walked out and will no longer be coming back. The atmosphere is terrible and confusing. Bright, sunny, cheery inside with not family friendly club music blasting. The music is so loud you have to shout your order to the server. There are kids in paw patrol shirts and babies in high chairs while Tweet is singing there goes my shirt up over my head over the speakers. Very strange. I would NEVER be back at this location. I go to toasted yolk once a week at the cypress location. Perhaps maybe they lend a hand of etiquette and customer service this way. My family ordered first and we were the last to receive our food. Then they gave two of us pancakes, forgetting the actual entree meal. This is ridiculous and disgusting. If you all dont have the staff to take care of a crowd then dont open on holidays. This is pretty pathetic! I am utterly disgusted to say the lease. What a Happy Mothers Day to me! NOT!

Part of my first trip to Houston I decided to stop here with some friends for brunch. I always like to try new places when I m traveling and this place didn t disappoint. Our group tried several of the specialty breakfast shots and some of the adult coffee drinks and they were SO GOOD. We also tried the junkyard fries, crepes, and the toasted yolk plate. Everything was delicious- probably the best egg in toast I ve ever had the bread was butter crispy and soft at the same time. Perfection. But honestly the highlight of our brunch was meeting the GM Jamie. She was an absolute angel. What was already a 10/10 experience became a 100/10. You couldn t ask for better hospitality, she made sure everyone was taken care of as if we were a guest at her home. She was the sweetest and she is the reason that makes me want to come back just to be in her restaurant with her team and energy.

Visiting from North Carolina and wanted to dive into something different from the same old options I m used to. After some research we chose to stop in and man, oh man, it did not disappoint. We started out with a refreshing breakfast type of shot that is garnished with some of the best bacon I ve ever had. The hashbrown Casserole was delicious, another favorite of mine was the chicken sausage and those amazing Cali Benedict s which was recommended to me by the Managing Partner Jamie. Jamie was absolutely incredible, we told her we were from out of town and her hospitality, knowledge of the menu, and the passion behind the way she described the food was unmatched. By the end of our dining experience I left with a full belly and a friend in Jamie. 10 out of 10, I totally recommend this spot to anyone looking for great food and even better people, will be back for sure!

I am from out of town and decided to give this place a try because of the good reviews. Unfortunately I was unimpressed. My friend and I walk in and no one greets us at the door. We are looking around and observe: one the staff is on their phones, and two the there are numerous un-busted tables. Keep in mind it is 145pm and there is only 2 other customers in the restaurant. The last straw was my friend and I request to sit by the window and the hostess tells us that there is no server in that section and proceeds to sit us by the kitchen entry and exit door. The first 5 minutes there were not great so we left and went somewhere else.

This morning I ordered the double decker omelette which is $16 . The omelette came out very sad looking. I have ordered before and it was fine . Not today , when I complained to the manager named Brian , it seemed that my complaint fell on deaf ears. I should have posted a picture ( my mistake) . Brian tried to tell me that the omelette looked normal . I told him it looks normal if I was paying for a breakfast special. This plate is $16 , not a $6.99 special . I have been a manager and operator for a corporate restaurant for 12 years now and I know a little bit about running a kitchen and managing a restaurant. This girl Jayme absolutely killed it! Only the people who have worked in the industry will understand how hectic it can be and this lady was an absolute rockstar! ! Because Ive worked in the industry, I always hold a particulat standard and feeling towards each restaurant that I visit. I was very impressed with the way this little lady was running this establishment. So much so, that I actually gave her a job offer to come work for me in Galveston. Good help is hard to find, if ya know ya know Lets talk about the food. The food was delicious to say the least and it arrived just they way it was ordered and. within a timely fashion. I definitely recomend the southern fried arnold. Overall, this was an absolute experience for my fiancé and I. I truly believe it had more to do with the management and staff more than the establishment itself. Needless to say, my soon to be wife and myself will definitely be visiting this particular location again and again. The staff: INCREDIBLE !! The atmosphere: CLEAN !! The food: FAST, FRESH, && DELICIOUS !! Miss Skye and Miss Victoria greeted and served us very well. After a very pleasant meal and before I could even request to speak with the manager, we were greeted by the General Manager Miss Jamie. The manager immediately fixed the issue and changed the grease for even more fresh ....and a large amount of fries for my wait. The club sandwich on sourdough was good, but there were only 2 pieces of bacon cut into 4s. The amount of turkey and ham wasnt hearty enough for a 17.89 sandwich.

Went on a Sunday morning, about 11am. Place was full, but still got seated fast. Atmosphere was loud and vivid. My toddler enjoyed the music lol Server was nice, food came fast (less than 10 mins). I got the churro donuts, if you have a sweet tooth than this is for you! Very delicious, crunchy on the outside but soft and doughy in the inside and SUPER sweet. I also got a side of eggs and the hashbrown casserole. Now the hashbrowns were not what Im used to, but still very delicious. They have a mushy texture and are not dry as most places serve them. The eggs were good too. Im not a fan of scrambled eggs, so Im a bit picky when it comes to them, so for me to say that they were good, theyre good lol even my toddler ate them, and shes picky too. My husband got the two eggs and a cake. He enjoyed it as well. It came with hashbrown casserole, two sausage patties, eggs and he chose the pancake. The pancake was big and fluffy. Overall a good experience and good food!

We sat for a long time before being acknowledged. Then we sat for the longest before she brought the drinks. However that was after she forgot what we ordered and what table the drinks went to. We got the food and it was luke warm at best. We were there for an hour before we got food. But when it was time to give us the check and take my card, she was Johnny on the Spot. I usually leave very good tips but my tip reflected the service. Subpar and not much.

I came in today in 20 degree weather and despite it being freezing cold, the hosts opened the door for me and greeted me with smiles. I had Jana as a server and she s the sweetest person I ve met! She was very attentive and answered all of the questions I had with patience. I had a hot Carmel macchiato to drink and had the brisket tacos with hash brown casserole to eat. It came out so quick and fresh everything was on point! I would recommend this place to anybody they have so many options on their menu!

Went for Sunday brunch. Seated immediately, service was friendly and efficient. The place is clean, but always loud. Certainly not a place for an inexpensive breakfast. First off their Crepes with Strawberry Banana and Nutella were off the chart good!!! The place was clean and so many good breakfast and lunch choices. I ordered the breakfast waffle, my daughter ordered the Ruben, my dad ordered the pancakes, and my partner ordered the biscuits and gravy. Came to have some breakfast this morning. This was my second time, first time i had a great experience everyone was smiling and greeted. You know made me feel welcomed. This second was greeted by a group of employees standing near the entrance. Sat down and waited a few mins top maybe 5 mins server never came. Place was busy there was another group standing in the back. I only saw two servers. One saw me waiting but turned back into the kitchen... decided to leave came to dennys, greeted my employees. This visit was good, but not great. I was seated, and was waiting for a friend to show up. I was told a waitress would take my drink order, but that was about a 15-20 minute wait. I flagged another waitress down and asked if she knew where our waitress was and she asked another and they both appeared lost on who was supposed to serve us. Either way, once that was taken care of, I ordered the Cordon Bleu sandwich with sourdough bread (instead of the pretzel bun listed on the menu) with sweet potato fries, and fruit. The meal itself was delicious and I m glad that the visit ended up being good in the end.
