Would love to have said this place lived up to the hype. However, how can you when the website, the google searched hours, and any other way to find this place gives you the wrong hours of operation. Drove an hour and half just for some guy sitting inside, past the cleared marked WRONG hours of operation said that they changed their hours. In an internet driven world and where people first stop to look up the establishments to find basic information, I strongly urge the management to FIX THEIR WEBSITE! 3 hours of my life wasted. UPDATE: within probably 4 hours, google hours were changed. Within 24 hours the website hours were change. I guess they saw it.

We have been to Porky s many times now. I love the idea of having so many food trucks to give you a variety of food. I honestly like to get a couple of dishes, each from a different food truck. It can get quite crowded and parking can be a head ache. We were lucky to get a table indoors which is cooler. I have also experienced a time when certain dishes were sold out - so don t get there too late. There are a couple of Cornhole games available, if you want to pass some time while you wait for your food buzzer to alert you. I have a few favorites, this time I went with the Quesabirria Tacos and coconut Caribbean shrimp. These tacos are so tasty !! The coconut Caribbean shrimp comes out crispy, but that s the way I like it.

Went here on a Sunday around 2PM(not during a Texans game, but there was plenty of football on). Place was pretty crowded, not overly crowded but crowded enough. There was enough parking for the crowd they had at that time, but if it got much busier, they may run out of parking. Most of the tables in the shade/inside were full. There were around 15 food trucks open when we went. We tried 2 different food trucks. One, the lady taking the order spoke basically no English, and couldnt answer simple questions about the menu. The music was pretty loud, which is fine, but made it hard to order and also to talk to people you were there with. The communication issues with the food truck workers + loud music made it difficult to order at both food trucks. Overall the environment was pretty good, the facility is nice inside and kept clean. They have huge fans which keep the temperature inside comfortable(was 99 degrees outside when we went). I miss when food trucks were cheap. The food at both trucks we tried was good, but all of it is expensive. Look to spend $20-25 per person.

Waited in line for Twisted Creole for over a hour for them to tell us most of the menu wasnt available. Finally got shrimp tacos and crawfish taco and they were horrible. The food truck needs to be prepared if they want to entertain the crowd that this place brings. Honestly one one the best food truck places we have been to. Brittany was the best waitress ever!!!

We absolutely LOVE coming to Porkys! Though some of our family sticks to the trucks that are there consistently most of us like trying the foods from visiting trucks. We had another amazing night with a DJ and great food. (The crab roll from Tasty Caribbean was awesome) Well definitely be back.

The place itself was cool. We went after church on Sunday, so it was not very busy at this time. The food trucks are expensive which we expected. My husband paid $25 dollars for a plate of Columbian food and $20 dollars for 2 sno-cones but ok!! The problem that I have is that this place is Family Friendly Its August its super-hot, so the playground was way too hot for the kids to play on. Well, my 7-year-old granddaughter gets in the drivers seat of what we thought was a racing video game so she can play. Now mind you there is no sign around it that says, STAY OFF or anything like that! Well, moments later I see one of the staff members go over and say something to her, she hurries off the game and runs back to sit down with us. (I still dont know what he actually said to her), I just saw that her face looked embarrassed/sad), So I asked him why she couldnt play on it. His response was This is a 24K dollar (whatever he called it) and if she breaks it, she cant afford to pay for it. First of all, she is 7 so of course she cant pay for it, that was a stupid comment to make. If this place is family friendly and kids are WELCOME then kids are going to get on your precious VIDEO GAME. put a sign up or something letting parents know that its not for kids!!!!! Your comment was STUPID and totally uncalled for!!!!

Wonderful atmosphere for adults and kids. At least 12 different food truck, games and a great variety of drinks. We were there Saturday afternoon until that evening when tbe Dj started. Servers were attentive and the place was clean. Its a must try in my opinion! A barn style building with roll up doors and baseball playing all day. Vegetarian options: Some food trucks have vegetarian options. Parking: The parking lot is free, however its somewhat small. Kid-friendliness: Kids were playing games and having a blast all afternoon. Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely enough room for wheelchair access.

First time coming out to Porky s Backyard. I was definitely impressed with the overall food truck park. They have a kids playground in the back of the lot which the kids definitely enjoyed. After seeing a Facebook reel, I had to check out Porkys all the way from San Antonio when I was in town. The atmosphere is awesome. I love the open garage look with picnic tables. The drink menu is extensive and the service was great. There was I believe at least 10 food trucks circled arpuns the doors ranging from BBQ to Cajun to Mexican and even Thai. I tried out the Porkys Marg and it was good, just a bit on the sweet side for me. Family and dog friendly. Plenty of parking as well. Id love to see more of these food truck parks/bars. Cool concept! Wheelchair accessibility: Large shop area inside with picnic tables. Theres multiple sidewalks on the outside as well for the food trucks.

Parking: Porky has an upstairs and downstairs so there is room for a ton of people. So during peak hours its hard to find room for so many people to park. They really need at least 20- 40 more spots. Kid-friendliness: Lots of room for kids to run around and plenty of things to keep them occupied. Its dog friendly and they were playing music bingo when I was there. I ordered a classic cheeseburger with fries at Smash Burger. The order was wrong. I asked for it all the way. It only came with cheese,onions, and jalapeños. Has anyone seen my tomatoes,lettuce,pickles?! And super salty. Tried to add ketchup on my fries to maybe take away all that salt. DID IT WORK-NOPE! This is my first time here. Its a food park on steroids! Its got a lot of choices for food. Inside there is a full service bar with over 40 craft beers. The atmosphere was one of the Astros game playing on TVs and loyal fans watching, eating, and drinking. There was a live band and a birthday celebration! They even have a playground with a dog area. Something for everyone! It was an extremely crowded Friday night, but we didnt have to wait too long for our food.

It is a food truck park where there is a variety of food from different countries such as Colombia, Mexico, Thailand, USA, I liked that there is a bar area and live music with a DJ in case you want to dance but there is also a slider area for children . Its July in Houston,TX after the dust settling still from hurricane Beryl. I decided to swing by this spot with my bro. The place is pretty dope to kick back and have some drinks. Didnt eat the food there cause of the flies. I personally dont like to eat my food when theres bugs around specifically flies. They do have some various food trucks I tried a BBQ one but I recommend the empanadas from the Colombian food truck. Planning to check it out again during the fall. Check it out. Theres at least 10 different food trucks on site, from pizza, Columbian, TxMex x2, bbq & others. Porkys venue itself sells alcohol, from beer to a small selection of wines, ciders, & thc drinks. Ive had the Apple & pineapple ciders, which were pretty good. The place has a relaxing & cool aura about it. Note, theres an 18% gratuity added to bar purchases, and they have signs all over that state that. Food trucks: Ive eaten Don Juanitos 5 quesa birrias that come with small charro beans, the FatboyTx bbq Fatboy sammich & the Big Dogg, and the cheetos Twisted Papa. All good in their own right, but my fav place is the DonJ. so far. Their food is reasonably priced and taste great. Overall, this is a fun place to hangout, chill, & watch games on their many tvs they have, and sometimes they have live music/Dj.

We ate a brisket burger at Jos Brisquet truck. I thought it would be as shown on the pic painted on the truck. WRONG!!! It was diced (not chopped) fatty brisquet. It did not have any flavor and lacked seasonings. It tasted like they cooked it in the oven at home, brought it over to the truck, put it in the pit to keep warm and smoke up, and serve it as the best BBQ in town. The sesame seed buns were huge, but the lack of meat inside the bun was very disappointing. We paid $39.97 for 2 BBQ Brisquet sandwich baskets (with fries). The fries were cold when they served them to us. The onion they gave me with my sandwich was purple, but they only gave me 1 small slice that had 3 small rings, and wilted at that. This was our 1st time here and we were so disappointed!! They dont have any fountain drinks or iced tea, only tap water on ice. They do have a full service bar. The fans above on the ceiling are huge, and they blow straight down, so my hair was getting in my face while I sat and ate by greasy sandwich. Such a waste of money!! Happy 4th of July!

This place was great and the variety of food truck offerings was superb! I brought my dog and she was treated very well. There was even a water bowl that I could bring to my table for her to drink from while we dined. Bartenders were a little slow even though we were not drinking alcohol, but everyone was super cheerful and friendly and offered pets to my dog- which means a lot to me. The whole eating area inside was really clean with shiny floors, which was shocking considering how many people were there and walking all around the whole time from grass and dirt to the interior pavement. Great place to bring large groups of friends and satisfy all the picky eaters (like me).

Look at all that meat in 90 plus degree weather. I told one of the managers at Porky s and he couldn t care less. He said the just got the meat out. I felt the meat and it was not cold enough to have just come out of the refrigerator. This is how people get sent to the hospital. Prior to this I had been here twice and both times law enforcement had to be call while we were there because people don t know how to act. I no longer feel that this place is safe to eat the food or hang out there because of the trouble that this place attracts. Kid-friendliness: There is no way I would ever bring children to this place. I don t feel it s safe for children. I have seen videos of people throwing drinks at the bar tender.

Weve been here a few times since it opened so we could give it a fair shake. The atmosphere and the bar are high quality. Love the concept and the variety of food trucks available. Whats keeping this from being 5 stars however is that the quality of the food from the trucks isnt always great. They maybe need just a few better food trucks. At any rate this is a solid place and worth the visit.

Cool concept for an open bar with so many food truck options! Not too crazy about the 18% service charge added to my tab and how they shut the ceiling fans off as they begin to clean. It sure was hot the last 20 minutes leading up to 10pm. The least you can do is leave the fans on for the paying customers up to closing time.

The food trucks at this truck stop are amazing, the service received when patronizing these trucks are great. However the service inside of Porky s is not as great or consistent. The drinks are overpriced and don t always taste the same. The bartenders touch your straws and fruit garnishes with their bare hands. They have a policy of no outside cups so if you re coming with kids I m not sure what the protocol is for them to have beverages. Also, the owner of this location speaks very nasty to the owners of the food trucks. He doesn t care if there are paying customers around.

This is a cool place. Unfortunately (some) of the staff is less than ideal. I ordered two signature cocktails - the margaritas - on Monday night around 8. According to the huge tv they have posted right in front of them, happy hour on Mondays runs until 9, which gives 2$ off signature cocktails. I order them, and pay, then realize the special wasn t applied. I ask the cashier who rang me up if the special is available. He says no. I am puzzled but go back to my table. When the drinks are delivered, I ask again. The cashier response was what are they supposed to be cheaper or something ? Like yes. No need to be rude. Then he argues back saying that the happy hour ends at six and asks ME to tell him what the sign says. I was over it at this point because I don t want to fight about 4 dollars. I think he handled it very unprofessionally. You should know your own specials. I have the receipt showing the time I ordered and paid as well and it was well before 9.

Our family had a great time at Porkys. It was my first time at a Food Truck Bonanza! ALL KINDS OF FOOD-different cultural flavors! And an open bar-for those who drink. BTW, some of the food trucks do not accept cash. Live music and plenty of space to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. And you can sit inside or outside. Its cool the way its set up. We plan to go back again when we visit our daughter in Houston. Youll enjoy Porkys. Parking: We did find parking, but it seems to be pretty popular, so there are a lot of parking spots.

This is a really nice food truck park with a wide variety of cuisines to choose from. They have nice indoor or outdoor seating options. Its very family-friendly. The night I visited, there was a live band performing. They had TVs showing the NBA playoffs as well. Id suggest arriving early if you visit on a Saturday evening because it started to get crowded after sundown. You will not be disappointed!
