Resturant is fine but the valet parking folks are insanely rude. Definitely high on their own ego. Accidentally missed the valet sign cause I m blind in my left eye due to past injury but regardless, was driving in with the intention to pay (cause duh its bishop arts). Valet guy comes to my window with the nastiest attitude known to man. Insulting me, saying you missed the big sign?? yak yak (again, blind on my left eye) froze up cause I genuinely was shocked/scared by how I was being talked to over a mistake when (again) I m paying what s wrong with me just parking my own car? Drove off cause it freaked me out and paid parking somewhere else. Obviously having a bad day if a grown man feels the need to yell at two young girls but whatever I guess. didn t see him treat the white guests like that but I digress

Came to Dallas for 4 days to see the eclipse and popped in the first night I was here. The girl behind the bar was delightful and welcoming. Forced myself to go out the next day as it was my birthday and wanted to treat myself to a cocktail even though I was exhausted. Was offered a celebratory shot but was too tired. I was going to nip in on the Sunday to leave a good tip but I d underestimated the time it d take to be served in the restaurant I was in and they were closed by the time I went past. Feel bad as I won t be able to go back now. Can t recommend highly enough.

We just rented out Bar Eden for our Christmas party. We had 65 people and the this place is so beautiful to host an event. The staff were amazing. The food was really good. We came here on a whim and were very amazed. Tyler is an amazing waiter. He was very friendly and checked up on us constantly to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. We ordered the fries and fried eggplant. The fries were on the saltier side, but the fried eggplant was SO GOOD! The cocktails are fun and not too overly sweet. We were sad we couldn t make the brunch, but we will be back.

This was the absolute worst bar I ve ever been to. It took us 20 minutes standing at the bar to get any service. Once we did, the guy who was making our drinks started them, literally took another 20 mins to make 4 drinks, then just handed them over to a guy washing dishes with no context. The guy had no clue what to do with them. He finally asked the first bartender what he needed to do and ended up charging one person in our party for all 4 of our drinks. Aside from the service being terrible, they have a very small selection of liquors, and their house made drink that I got tasted like trash can juice. I definitely will not be back or recommend this place to anyone.

I was so excited to try this place out while we waited for a table to become available. It s so nice inside and has such a cute aesthetic. However, while there were not many customers, the bartender didn t acknowledge us. My friend and I approached the bar, in front of one bartender, and he didn t look up at all or acknowledge us in any way. He was making a drink, so we patiently waited for him to finish as the only other bartender on the other side was also busy. Again, there was maybe 3 other people at the bar as well and numerous tables were open, so not that busy. Once he finished his drink, he started motioning towards another person that arrived after us and we spoke up asking for a few drinks. He begrudgingly helped us and made the drinks promptly. Unfortunately, they weren t tasty and were pretty strong. They looked great though!

I REALLY want to give this a better review because the waitress was so friendly and kind and genuinely welcoming! The drink I got (French75) was also excellent. But the cool speakeasy vibe was totally ruined by how loud the random 2010 s pop music was blaring! I LOVE the environment at this local bar right outside Paradiso. Its perfect for having a drink while you wait for your table to be ready. The decor and ambiance are incredible and the seating is very comfortable. My only complaint is the service is very slow and not very attentive. We sat outside at a table for about 20 min before a server came to take our order. My table also ordered a charcuterie board and it was never put in so we were waiting for a snack that sadly never came. I will still go back often, hoping these tiny issues are addressed and fixed!

If I could give zero stars I would. I took a party of 6 celebrating a birthday, we ordered from the bar and were then told to return to our table. The bar staff was preoccupied with celebrating a staff birthday. We waited 45 minutes and were never severed the drinks we paid for I was forced to return to bar to request a refund and was told that I sat at the wrong table (which was in conflict with the prior instructions). Despite their mistake on top of ruining our celebration, I was made to feel like I inconvenienced them by asking for a refund. I will never be back.

By far one of the most unique cocktail bars in Dallas. We arrived right when they opened at 5pm and had top-notch service for our entire visit. Every drink we ordered was impeccably made and beautifully presented (i.e. in a giant goose). We learned that they are owned by Paradiso next door so we were able to order dinner from the restaurant menu which was awesome. Can t wait to come back!

My wife and I stopped by Botanist after a dinner in Bishop Arts and were incredibly impressed. The menu had a ton of great looking cocktail options and the drink we had were very tasty. the true standout of Botanist is the atmosphere, it is one of the coolest places to get a drink in Dallas. What a beautiful bar !!! The atmosphere of this place was Wonderful and honestly our drinks were great! We got a ranch water and the clarified espresso Martina The ranch water was good but Steven says the clarifies espresso martini was the best drink he s ever had. Now I m not a vodka girl but I tasted it and even I thought it was damn good!! The only down side was the service :( it was a little slow and sporadic giving this place a 4 star over all. My first time at Botanist and it was spectacular!! There was a bartending competition taking place last Thursday evening 5/13/21 and it was sooo packed and full of such good vibes!! Patience was the winner!! The decor is awesome, it s connected to Paradiso which is a great space to connect and consume food if you ask me. Look, theres a lot of hype on this block right now in Bishop Arts. I bought into some of it. But as much as I was excited about the Botanist, it just couldnt live up. When you are paying $15 for a cocktail, EVERYTHING matters. The flavors, complexity, presentation. This sounds so nitpicky but who wants to order a $15 cocktail that has no garnish and just tastes like fruit juice? Id rather make them at home. I went close to when it first opened, maybe things have shifted some; but I dont want to give it another shot because there are plenty of great cocktail bars out there.

Great little spot. Can t wait to check the outside out when he gets warmer. It s nice for a date. Brought my girlfriend after dinner for two drinks and had to force myself to not try any more new drinks. My girlfriend enjoyed the works, very mellow and down to earth.

The ambiance is great and the drinks were delicious. I had a wild berry smash and an old fashion. Unfortunately the service was dismal. The credit card machine was down so cash only. But the worst part was it took a minimum of 30 minutes to get a drinks. The server almost never checked on us. It was painfully slow.
