One of my favorite places to go locally - kind of like our version of Cheers with a little lake view! The waitstaff is always super pleasant, helpful, and attentive to whatever it is you need. Lindsey & Kendyl are always service with a smile! Try the cauliflower app with gochujang sauce and you won t be disappointed! Burgers are great (I love the buns) and the side of fries is perfectly crispy every single time! My husband particularly loves the blackened fish tacos. Lastly - the beer - Boathouse Blonde, Sig Sour, Shake Ya Razz, and then seasonal Lemon are our go-tos! Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly - family friendly all around!

Great food, service, atmosphere, and staff! I can t praise this establishment enough highly recommend for any sized party looking for a good time. The beer is always amazing and they have something for everyone. Dining indoors is a nice idea for to get away from that infamous Texas heat but dining outside next to beautiful Lake Houston brewery is a must, especially at night it s a completely different atmosphere.

Food was delicious! We ordered fried pickles and oysters. They give you a lot of fries which my toddler enjoyed the French fries. Our waitress was fabulous Now I got the house margarita. It was very watered down. I think I drank all the alcohol in one slip. We enjoyed the play ground for our toddler and took pictures by the lake view. I will definitely be back to when the crawfish is in season.

That place is great, but the service no, no nno.. we spend like more than 2 hours to get our food. I asked another waitress for the one who helped us . Finally she came and apologized.. said..ohh sorry, but we are short staff in the kitchen. I understand, but at least she wouldve come up and said that. My first experience was terrible

As I completely understand that this is a brewery, however many of us do not drink alcohol and would still love to indulge in a nice non alcoholic cold beer and enjoy the environment and the concerts held outdoors. However only catering to the individuals that drink alcohol is rather upsetting and really shows you where the main focus is. Business is business and many tend to spend more while under the influence of alcohol I get it. But us people that enjoy our lives without alcohol would like the option. Made a call this morning to inquire about them stocking some non alcoholic beverages and it was stated not at this time and I also understand TABC regs and there may be certain hurdles that may have to be jumped through to make that happen but it would had been nice to be allowed to bring my own non alcoholic drink in while watching a concert. CATER TO ALL NOT JUST THE ALCHOL DRINKERS

I visited Lake Houston Brewery for the first time, and sadly, the experience fell short of expectations. Upon entry, we weren t greeted or seated with menus, even though every single guest who came through the door after us was promptly seated with menus to order from (which, of course, made it a bit easier for them to order just saying). After sitting for 30 minutes, we had to go inside to place a to-go order, which then took another hour to prepare. Thankfully, we were enjoying some fellowship outdoors, which made the wait more bearable, but the overall service was disappointing. Additionally, I overheard a family attending a birthday party struggling with the patio door while the staff stood by, not offering assistance. This, combined with the fact that we were the only guests of color and the only ones not provided menus, left me with no choice but to make certain assumptions about our treatment. *Note: I asked for management, which took another 30 minutes before I reapproached to inquire about my request. As someone employed by a global Fortune 500 company in an influential role, I see potential in this location for professional events such as team-building activities. I hope this feedback encourages improvements to match the promise of the beautiful setting.

Food is good. Not a lot of lighter options. Salad was ok, but had some bad pieces of lettuce we had to pick through. Burger was good. The beer though, was very meh. Tried both blonde ales, the witbier, and the amber, but I m sorry to say they were all pretty underwhelming. The live music was good, but it was way too hot. Not really the restaurant s fault. The area is way too big to think about investing in some fans or swamp coolers. What the owners can control though is the indoor A/C, which could only just barely keep up with the temperature and the constantly opening doors. Went in several times to get out of the heat, and it was only a very minor relief. There s a small cash-only arcade. Saw a ton of kids wanting to play but nobody carries cash anymore. Outdoor play area for the kids is great. Small play set and a decent sized grassy area over in the corner, easy to let them go play and keep an eye on them.

This place is pretty great. Food is good, service is friendly and quick. They have live music most weekends and a sweet playground for the kids. You can even park your boat there while you eat. I have only one complaint. They dont have any system to fill their growlers for those nights you wanna take the party home with you. Unfortunately this leads to flat beer. All they need to do to resolve this is get a small piece of food grade clear flex hose so that you can fill the growler from the bottom up preserving the beers carbonation and flavor.

We sat out on the patio and had the crawfish. The crawfish were excellent! They were flavorful and juicy! The weather was nice and they had a good band playing. Our server and service was great! My wedding rings fell off of my finger and one fell between the boards, under the deck. They pulled some boards up to find it and get it back to me. I was so thankful! They were wonderful. Every time we go the food, drinks, atmosphere and service is great!

LHB is awesome, great staff, food, beer, and atmosphere! The space is perfect for kids/animals with so much outdoor space including a playground. They have live music with great bands basically every weekend. The owners are hands on and helping out every time we are there. Boat parking is ample and easy to get into as well. We are here a couple times a month and love it. Parking: Parking everywhere, never had an issue finding parking. Kid-friendliness: Awesome playground and love that everything is fenced so don t have to worry about kids getting on the dock.

We love to visit LHB! We don t live in the area but it s always worth the drive from the Woodlands. I can always expect a great atmosphere on the lake, delicious food and drinks, and great live music! They have the hardest working servers that always take care of us. The owners are the most genuine people and are always around making sure their guests have the best experience. This spot is top tier and definitely deserves all 5 stars! Great place. The atmosphere is awesome. Beautiful lake views and the evening we were there had an acoustic guitar guy who had a great voice and provided some really good music. Had a salad which was very fresh and perfect for my meal. Also ordered the shrimp kisses as an appetizer, were also very good. Drank the boathouse blonde beer and didn t disappoint! They have a small playground area and a ton of fenced in outdoor area right on the lake, and the people dining are laid back and happy to see kids being kids. We love coming here and supporting local! The food and drinks are great and they have so many workers that are constantly working their tails off. LHB is a great place on the lake! The staff and severs are friendly and the atmosphere and live music can t be beat. My family loves the chicken sandwich, tacos, crawfish (when in season), salads with blackened salmon, fried pickles and of course the drinks. There s plenty of room for kids to run and play. Check out their event calendar and watch for updates on Facebook as they often host special events such as car shows and farmer markets. Vegetarian options: Salad options are available. Parking: Overflow parking is available in the back lot. Kid-friendliness: Playground for the kids, picnic tables with shade and plenty of room to run and play. We are regulars here with our large group of friends and a bunch of kids. We drink, eat, listen to live music, and let the kids run around free. The food is delicious! My favorites are the blackened mahi sandwich and the blue collar dollar burger. I always see the owners there busting there butts behind the scenes. Our community really needed a place like this, so we are very thankful to have it. From a casual sunny Sunday afternoon, to a packed Stoney Larue concert at night, it s always a good time!

The crawfish are so greasy with fake butter they were not edible. When we did not eat them we were reminded by our waitress there are no refunds. Mahi sandwich came out Raw. Fried seafood platter was very bland and soggy with grease. The oysters freshness, smell and taste were questionable. All fried seafood needs seasoning. Most likely will not eat here again. My family of 4 left hungry.

Excellent! This place is super chill! It is a laid back feel but you still get great service. The beer is excellent! As a beer snob, I get picky about beer served at places. But this brewery is legit. Their burgers are super tasty and their twisty fries, I dont remember what they are called, are amazing!! I highly recommend this place! Kid-friendliness: There is a small playground on the premises.....but the actual property is MASSIVE!! You can have some of the smaller kids running around outside on the playground while your teens go inside and play video games. There is something for all ages.

Love this place! The view is phenomenal. I had a boathouse blonde and was tasty. The Blackened Mahi tacos were delicious. The staff was attentive, informative, and super nice. They had a glitch in their wifi, which caused a massive backup and some confusion, but management and wait staff handled it with grace and kept us informed. My husband and I spent a wonderful 2.5 hours there on our date night watching the sun set and watching the lake. Thanks Taylor for great conversation and service. Keep your light shining. The view - unbeatable. The beer and food - average. Overall atmosphere - unkept. Perhaps they re understaffed, but there were a lot of tables that hadn t been bused. I could tell the floor under the covered patio, hadn t been swept. Location is great, there just needs to be some attention to details.

First time here and I was so pleased that I chose this place for a first date! Theres plenty of outdoor seating and theres a stage for live music. The food was really good and there is a great selection of craft beer. The owner was on-site and busting tables side by side with his employees. Very friendly staff! I would definitely recommend this place and I cant wait to go back! Kid-friendliness: Theres a playground in the same area as the tables out back.

It pains me to rate the food so low, but I am being honest. There is work to be done on the food. Im pretty easy to please when it comes to tacos, but I couldnt eat 2 of the 3 served. The one I was able to eat the chicken was in huge strips and hard and dry. I got one of each choice of the street tacos...chicken, beef and pulled pork. When they arrived I instantly had dread inside because anyone who knows anything about pulled pork know if the pork is good none to very little is needed of bbq sauce. The taco served was drown in bbq so my immediate response was, What are you trying to cover up! My first bite I had a HUGE chunk of fat no meat whatsoever, I politely put it in a napkin and attempted a 2nd bite. Nope, same thing so I took my fork and pushed the meat around to discover it was more fat than meat. I love a good piece of fat with flavor, but this was truly inedible. I move on to the beef and wouldnt you know the same thing. Fatty pieces of tough, cant chew chopped up dry beef. One bite and put it down. I was able to eat the chicken taco but definitely not by choice...we were traveling, and I was not about to stop anywhere else before home, nor was I ordering anything else. The menu stated the chicken and beef tacos were served with grilled onion and queso on top, but there was no question and raw onions. Im allergic to raw onions so I definitely would have stated no onions if the menu was accurate. They were big chunks so I was able to pick them off. The fries served are unique and trendy, but they are big huge spirals that end up being cold by time served, and I suspect its because so muchof the fry is exposed to air. The burger patties are overcooked and not appetizing. They are thick and not a pleasant flavor. The wait staff are great and attentive. The live music was awesome, and I would go back for the guy they had that night. The atmosphere is great but as you go to the bathroom there is a smell in the air, perhaps they had water issue or something..no biggie not near eating area. I will give them another try after some time for them to work the kinks out. I wont order my favorite, tacos, again, that shipped sailed there. Its pretty hard to mess up tacos, so they need to tweak what they are doing there.

Food is fine. Alot of fried food. The beer on the other hand...not a fan. Ive tried multiple times in hopes itll get better. The location is awesome and i really wanted to be a supporter. We goto alot of breweries and even brew our own beer, but this beer is difficult to drink. Its a definite plus having a playground, but everytime weve been the kids are really aggressive. I know its not the restaurants fault, but something to keep in mind.

Paradise burger was great! Juicy, sweet pineapple, spicy jalapeño and a nice chargrilled burger. Curly potato wedges! Thats right! WEDGES. Gumbo is pretty tasty too. Recommend the 6 beer flight if you dont know what you want

The location is great with a nice view of the lake. The food is alright, nothing to go back for, or rave about. Service is so-so, you might be required to chew on some ice if you drink your beverage too fast for your server. What really sucks, and a reason to not go back, is when you make the drive on Wednesday night (close at 9) and get there at 8:20 to find their OPEN sign is lit, but the gate is closed and when you call they tell you they closed early. I guess in the future, if one decides to go, calling in advance to make sure they are open during regularly scheduled hours before driving up might be a wise decision. Why have posted hours of operation if they aren t to be kept?

The food was pretty good the beer was awesome and the music was stellar the place itself is really cool right on the water and great decor perfect for a cool evening they even have a heater lamps all over to keep you warm. I thought it was awesome and I wish I lived in Huffman I would be there every weekend! Highly recommend

We just came in the other night. The burgers were ok, but our service was amazing! Cinnamon was super nice and welcoming. We would come back just for her. My fiancé loved the beer and said the Boathouse Blonde was top notch!!

Water views are great! Not impressed with drinks. But water actually tasted surprisingly not bad! I really liked my Mahi Mahi tacos. We were there for a trivia event and didnt appreciate the waitress asking us questions that could have waited right in the middle of us trying to think of the trivia answer. Not a bad local place but is the drive from The Woodlands worth it.. nah.

Bartenders, not my favorite. Cinnamon, the bartender, with blue eyes, horrible customer service. Makes you feel as if you are asking too much when ordering beers. Beer was flat, and tied to explain, and Ms Cinnamon seemed pissed.

The location and overall ambience next to the lake is nice however the food and beer wasnt enjoyable. I had a hamburger/fries and for the price paid the quality was unacceptable. I also tried their citrus IPA, it was incredibly bland and watered down. Unfortunately I cannot recommend and personally wouldn t come back.

My husband & I had this on our radar to try for a while, always pass by and it s usually very packed on weekends so naturally, we d expect a great place to eat & drink. Beer was not very good and food was horrible. Bacon wrapped shrimp was over fried, my trio platter hush puppies were so fried as well as my coconut fried shrimp. I returned the shrimp and it still came back overly fried, my husband made a comment that it still looked like the shrimp that was returned. We were being rushed since we arrived at 8:38 pm because kitchen closed at 9 pm understandable, but then we were told they closed at 9 pm by the waitress even though website said 10 pm. We tried this location but it ll be the last time we come here. We re all for supporting local businesses but we were disappointed all around.

Did not try food. We went there to drink beer. Beer is not good at all. My husband and I are IPA drinkers and the beer there had no flavor we tried 3 different ones. It felt as if they had poured half water half beer. Even their water that an ugly taste. People that sat next to us had the same comment on the water. Food looked like it could be good but didn t try. We only grabbed some chips and salsa. We will not be back we drove 37 minutes and were very disappointed. Addition: I still might not give A second chance because as an owner I would make sure that everything is running up to par. It s a restaurant! We have been to many breweries and all have been great. This is the first time we have a very negative experience. We know all breweries are different and each have their own style we always embrace and take in the best but honestly we didn t find anything good in the beer here. I understand the water situation but the beer, no. I m sorry we don t share the same taste buds or opinions. But this has been by far the worst beer we have tasted in a long time.

9.2.2023. The mahi mahi blackened fish tacos are excellent. Prior post. Best freshest sweetest fried catfish in Houston. The view of the lake is awesome. The beer brewed inside is a wide variety and always an adventure. Highly recommended!

Its an aggravating experience to see excellent waitresses surrounding your table and my server is inattentive and not very responsive. My food that was supposed to be hot was brought out cold, the remake was poorly thrown on the plate. Eating out is too damn expensive to have a bad experience.

I dont EVER do reviews. This place is just not up too par(staff and atmosphere)staff had no clue if beers were even available. I gave them second chance and the second time around was horrible. The first sour I sampled; craft beef literally tasted rotten( it was .. I use to make beer/keg gone bad). Instead of sampling the citrus seltzer (who can mess up a seltzer Lake Houston Brewery)I settled however, that tasted like club soda. Absolutely NO flavor, GROSS. I mentioned it and because I did not sample (my fault, I own that)they would no honor another drink and NO, I did not drink it. Left it on the counter( and I usually dont waste good craft beer). I will say they did offer me water....that was nice. But, there are way better craft beer places around (food is not good either, experienced that the first time I came.) Stay away if you want a descent amount of good quailty craft beer and food.

Sam and his staff do an amazin job provding the Lake Houson Area with great food, craft beer, service and entertainment. The location is beautiful right on the lake. We have seen very good performances on their stage. We are lucky to have them in our back yard.

We really enjoyed this brewery. The food, drinks, were great. The atmosphere was inviting,even for a family with young children. They have a cute little playground where parents can eat and drink by the water as the kids run themselves tired. The staff was very nice and they have a stage for live bands. Really enjoyed Lake Houston Brewery. Had the MOAB and the Upside Down Amber Ale and they were both very good. Wish they had a Kolsch, but it seemed there were plenty of good beers on tap. Also enjoyed the view of the Lake and the live music. Even on an overcast afternoon, this is a great place. The food was fantastic and literally felt like we could spend the whole day there...but we didnt. Going back asap. Kid-friendliness: Had a playground and saw lots of kids there. Families driving up on boats and unloading at the dock. Good vibes.

I really wanted to like this place and I ve even given them multiple chances just in case it was an off day for them. This was not just 1 day this was multiple different occasions spaced a few months apart. However for a brewery to not have 1 single beer that is not flat or taste like lemonade is unforgivable. When I say the beer is flat I mean zero carbonation at all, add in insane amounts of lemon and you got lemonade.

My 5 star review has dropped steadily over the last year. Idk who hurt the women who work here but almost everyone, especially the hostesses and the bar keeps are insanely rude. Ive worked both jobs, and waitress, Im not sure why their attitudes are so bad...and its just the women. Drink and food and atmosphere, plus playground are amazing but the constabt rudeness is enough to drive the boat to Sharkeys.
