There were several charges that I thought were invalid or unwarranted, so left a bad taste in my mouth. -They Charged me for a conversation that I had already stated the answers to in a previous email. He said he would not charge me for that, but I was charged. -They should have asked all the necessary questions before drafting the documents. This would have avoided me getting charged for 2 additional conversations, 2 edits and 2 emails. -I shouldn t have been charged for revisions and emails needed due to their errors. This happened twice because of their typos/errors. -After I emailed my final approval of the documents, I was charged for their response which was just him asking if there was there anything else I needed . -When I replied no, I was charged for his reply which was just thanks for letting him know . -Then I was charged for them making a draft of a letter thanking me, stating my case is closed and emailing it to me. -Finally, I was charged again for an email with my detailed invoice. Aside from that, the documents were prepared well, and everything was resolved in a timely manner.

I rented out a house for the first time. The tenant didnt pay rent from the beginning. We had to go through the court process with the Justice of Peace and then the county court because the tenant appealed. Eventually, the tenant filed for bankruptcy. The team at The Law Office of Ernie Garcia helped us handle this complicated situation. After a long legal battle of more than 6 months, we regained possession of the property. The team was diligent, knowledgeable about the eviction process, and guided us throughout. Lais, who worked on our case, was very efficient and kept us informed about the eviction process. I am very pleased with the legal help they provided and that we got our property back. I would highly recommend them to anyone dealing with a difficult eviction situation.

I hired Mr. Garcia to assist me with an eviction case and he did win, so I give 2 stars for that. However he is very expensive and every minute he speaks to you, you will be charged a hefty fee. I never felt like he had true empathy or cared about me. It is my personal opinion he s just out to get the clients money and it s off putting. He gets defensive very easy and says feel free to hire someone else constantly, how cute for him when he s already billed us hundreds of dollars. Never again! I have now found an attorney that s more affordable, kind and doesn t get offended every two seconds.

This man is a misogynistic jerk that doesnt know the law and lacks any sort of empathy. If youre a woman, this is not the attorney for you. Im editing/adding to my review to say that immediately after speaking with an attorney who is a woman, she immediately took my case because she took the time to listen and understand my case. This man is a con artist, he will charge you 200 dollars for a consultation and then talk circles around you, never letting you get a word in, and ramble on talking about nothing relevant until your 30 minutes is up. Then tell you to pay more. You should be ashamed of yourself, Ernie. I hope you dont have daughters.

The opposing team played hardball but I never doubted my team. Thank you for your service as a disabled veteran I truly appreciate the thought. However, Thanks is not an action word. Some type of help (hand up, not a hand out) is what I thought my $1000.00 retainment payment (4 monthly payments, late with the 4th) would get me. I insisted maximum monthly payment I could afford was $200 per month!! My VA disability isnt much just 30% AFTER knee replacement. Mr. Garcia law office setup a $248.00 monthly payment, which again on a fix income and unable to work, I said I would not be able to make on a consistent basis. The law office concluded that was the best that could be done without a court hearing and increase Attorney fees for me. I had to agree, sign and try. Well, Im at that point. My HOA payment was $600.00 a year. The Law Office of Mr. Garcia showed little concern with the HOA Attorney returning my $800 payment and denied a payment plan for the $2,000.00 balance after holding my check and request for months. Then filling additional court documents to increase the total amount to over $5,600.00. This was for two (2) yearly HOA fees of $600.00 x 2 = $1,200.00. Yes,over $4,400 in Attorney fees. The 3rd year of HOA fees and attorneys processing fees were added, total was over $9,000.00 with foreclosure sale set. This is after I defaulted on the $250.00 monthly payments to HOA ATTORNEY, I had made 5, $1,250.00. This is when I had to get an Attorney and I selected this office. Thank you for your service Law Office of Ernie Garcia. I wont be using or recommend you. Please remove my name and email from your list. Your emails are just a reminder of.... 4 years HOA fees at $600 = $2400.00, plus HOA Attorney over $6,600.00, plus $1000.00 payment to Mr. Garcia law firm, plus $1,250.00 payments I made. Yes, over $11K total, over 4 times the $2,400.00 HOA fees.. HOA IS BIG BUSINESS here!! Gods Blessings are BIGGER, BETTER and I will remain in my home!!

Unfortunately, my tenant has insisted and rejected to move out after the of 30 days notice. Ernie Garcia s law firm helped me through all the eviction process. We went to court, won, they still didn t want to leave. Tenant only moved out 3 days before the forcefully eviction day. Their prices are very reasonable. Very knowledgeable attorney, Mr. Garcia gave me all the instructions on a 30 minute consultation to properly take possession of my rental property after a tenant appeared to have abandoned it. Ive tried to evictions myself in the past but tiny paperwork errors made caused me major delays and larger loss of money due to unpaid rent. Was recommended this wonderful firm by another because they help tenants in landlord/tenant disputes. Even from the initial consultation I was helped to feel at ease, heard, and reassured that I was in the best of hands. It s difficult to find representation as a tenant in Texas when up against a harassing landlord who is misinterpreting their own lease and trying to force you out of your house through bullying tactics. I want to express my deepest gratitude to Mr Garcia and his office (Richard, Martha, Olga, Dasha, and Jackie) for handling my case since March to finally completion in the beginning ofJune. The story began way in 2021. I came to Mr Garcia after I got burned by an eviction agent who claimed never lost the case but who failed to be present at my JP hearing which set me back my another month. That person also left me with far from perfect 3 days notice. I was desperate and stressed to the max. Out of that desperation I started searching YouTube and accidentally stumbled on Earnies videos. I spend next 48 hrs listening and absorbing all this info. Honestly, I even wondered why he is doing this for free, just giving away precious knowledge that others charge arm and a leg. Having been burned by someone else, I was looking for a catch. So I called my friend who is a realtor asking for the referral to a good honest attorney in this area. I was astonished when out of hundreds of names who practice in Houston and vicinity the first that popped from her mouth, was Earnie Garcia! I am sure that was a sign from the above for me. I called as soon as office opened and never regretted. I first booked 30 min consultation and came with 2 pages of questions. By the time we were done, I looked at the clock and 50 min passed! Mr Garcia answered all my questions and only when I was out of steam, we ended. This helped me to win 1st step at JP court where I represented myself, even though the tenant came with his attorney. However, when my tenant appealed, I knew what to do and let Mr Garcia handle this part which is a lot more complicated. I had lots of questions again, I am really good at it. Everyone in the office was very patient with me and gave me knowledgeable answers that made me comfortable. When I requested in person meeting to prepare me for court hearing, I got no objections. Richard probably spend a couple of hours with me with no complains. Finally this is over, the tenant moved out and I am working on making property presentable again and putting it behind me. However I felt that the closure will only come after I acknowledge that finding Earnie and this group was what finally brought the light at the end of the very dark tunnel.

I had a situation that no one have had seen before. It started during the COVID out break. The Law Office of Ernie Garcia help me close a chapter of my life that has haunt me for 20 yr. There rates are reasonable and work was in a timely manner. During the Covid the courts shut down and work didnt stop with Ernie Garcia. We were ahead of are opponents and they didnt see what hit them. That Hurricane that seasons was named Ernie. Thank you to Ernie Garcia and his team. Evictions didnt used to be complicated. When tenants didnt follow through with their obligations, I would just file, go to the hearing and present the situation & documents to the JP in the area the property was located in. After about 5 minutes in front of the judge, itd be over with. In my latest eviction, the tenant delayed resolution at every turn and started cutting into my time on other projects that needed my attention and I was getting frustrated. Ironically, Attorney Ernie Garcia randomly popped up on my YouTube feed... which was interesting because I hadnt searched or watched any videos relating to real estate. I liked the way he presented his approach on Landlord-Tenant issues and noticed he was local to me in Houston so I called his office the next day to retain his services. He took over my case from where I left off and got the job done in the minimum amount of time required by the courts with his team updating me at every turn. The law firm did an outstanding job navigating the obstacles put in place by the city and county at the time from the ongoing pandemic, kept in constant communication with the court, clerks, officers and myself as well as securing the necessary writs and filing my default judgment. Retaining the law firm was cost effective and I was able to save a tremendous amount of time from this distraction that was being taken from other projects. WoW!! Attorney Garcia, is the MAN and extremely KNOWLEDGEABLE about evictions. I contacted Attorney Garcia, about being wrongfully put out of my landlord home.
