The environment was very nice and the front staff was super helpful. She was so patient while I asked her many questions about the menu. There are many choices to select. We ordered 3 pieces of the Vegetable Samosa and they were made just right. The Lamb Biryani was a new dish for us, it came with rice and was a little spicy, but very tasty. The Chicken Tikka Stir was awesome with good sized portions. I usually get this in curry, so this was a nice change. Butter Chicken was absolutely delicious- nothing more can be said. The dishes came with either rice or Naan, but we wanted Garlic Naan so we ordered extra. They were of good size and very tasty. Vegetable Pulav was a suggestion from the front staff - it was great !! While I waited I had a Mango Lassi, it was very refreshing. Parking: There is plenty of parking in the public lot.

We came 20 minutes before closing and the guy that was there to help take our order in my opinion could have been a lot more patient. I do understand being ready to clean up and close for the day but a customer coming in to PAY you deserves your complete attention and respect. A CUSTOMER should respect your business hours it doesnt mean in my opinion to rush them and make them feel as though once the clock strikes 9:30p you will no longer be able to take there order. Despite it all the meal which we did take away was pretty good. Cant say Ill be back. I think there are other places that would be happy for customers to come in regardless of the time.

After quite some time, I finally had the chance to enjoy some delicious Indian food in the Houston area. The meal was fantastic, exceeding my expectations. What surprised me even more was the restaurant itself it was exceptionally clean and well-kept, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere. The staff was warm and welcoming, making the overall experience even better. The flavors of the dishes reminded me of the authentic Indian cuisine used to love in Dubai, which made it all the more satisfying. Our experience was ok. We ordered curry goat. One was traditional, the other a chefs recipe. I would steer you to the traditional goat curry. It s much better. The chef s recipe has too much going on with the flavor. Too complex. Egg rolls were tasty. It was overall just ok. A bit pricey for what you get. Not memorable. The atmosphere was good and service friendly. Please remember to ask patrons if they like it spicier than usual.

The food was amazing I had the chicken tikka masala with rice mild heat was very tasty it wasn t too spicy, and my sister had the house chicken curry in hot, she said it was spicy but not in the hot way, like the spices tickled her brain lol I m not sure, we did order garlic naan that was also really good, we though it would come with our food but it turns out you get either rice or naan, we did have to flag down our server twice, but it wasn t too big of a deal, and she was very soft spoken, but we got what we needed just fine, the workers there were very nice, I would come again!! I am from india ordered onion bhajia / onion pakora, they served me onion rings which are served in American restaurants just coated with gram flour & they name it as onion pakora , i cant believe it . UPDATE 29 August 2024: From the moment I walked in the door, the hospitality was above and beyond. There is plenty of seating when I go after my Planet Fitness class, and feel hungry (around 4pm). They have a few specials going on, as well as their typical menu. I can tell theyve made improvements since my last visit, and they deserve the success! I LOVE eating here! The staff are attentive, but not overwhelming. Great manners! This time I ordered the Aloo Mutter, which had potatoes, peas, and sauce with rice, with a side of Garlic Naan. I typically have a little bit left over, and Im happy to have the leftovers reheated at home. **************************** Ive been here three times, and each time they go above my expectations. I dont eat Indian food often, but I always find great food when I come here. Today I got the Shrimp Fried Rice. It was a nice filling meal between a workout at Planet Fitness and getting ready to go to work this evening. The ambience and service was good. But, I was very much disappointed with the food. The Goat bone broth soup that I ordered was very water-y. Chilli chicken on the other hand was dominated with sauce (s), could not really enjoy the chicken or other ingredients. Egg fried rice was ok , but there is a lot of scope for improvement. This is one of my absolute favorite Indian restaurants. It had been a while since I ve come but I came with one of my friends for her birthday. For starters we had the lamb samosas and it was yummy. I found Curry House by happenstance as Google suggested it when I was pulling up directions on my phone. I was getting a little hungry so decided to try it. It is located in an older strip center, yet the interior doesnt feel like it at all. Its so clean both in design and physically clean. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and immediately seated. I dont have a lot of experience ordering Indian food for myself and my waiter was very helpful in making suggestions. Everything was made fresh so it did take a bit to come out, but the wait wasnt too long and the food was worth it. I had the house chicken curry w rice, and tried both the butter naan and the bullet Naan. The spice level was perfect, the chicken was tender and juicy in large chunks. The rice was neither too sticky or dry. Be careful w the bullet Naan though as the heat builds and can sneak up on you though. For desert I had a coffee and rasmalai. The coffee was delicious. Honestly I wasnt a huge fan of the rasmalai; but to be fair its the first time Ive tried it so it may just be the dish itself thats not for me. The service throughout my meal was spot on and the waitstaff were all very gracious and considerate. All in all this will become a regular stop for me when I drop the hubby off at work. I highly recommend trying them out, your tummy will thank you!

I just ordered from Uber eats and not only was my order wrong, but the food flavors were a huge disappointment. I had high expectations after reading reviews and I am extremely disappointed. I ended up just throwing away the bryiani and my son was starving, so he still ate whatever that other crap they sent us was, mind you he was complaining about the flavor the entire time he was eating it. He was especially disappointed that it was not even close to what goat korma taste like. As soon as we opened the goat, we saw it was not what we ordered, it looks more like a butter curry. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I was completely let down by the entire order. Since I did order on Uber eats, I cannot review the service or atmosphere, although sending the wrong item is actually pretty poor service. I don t know how this place has so many good reviews, they cannot be legit reviews I ve been to so many Indian restaurants all over town, compared to every other restaurant I ve been to, this is top 5 on the worse I ve ever tried.

By far one of the best Indian food in town! I love the curry special which has goat and lamb meat in a savory sauce served with rice. I recommend trying it with the garlic cheese naan bread. Quick turn off highway 430 on Rodney Pharam. The restaurant is located in the far end of the plaza next to Zam Zam market.

I came in to have dinner alone and had the most lovely experience. I was greeted so warmly by the staff, namely Videsh, and the food was incredible. I ordered the butter chicken, and it was so good, and the naan was probably the best naan Ive ever had. The service was wonderful, fast, and friendly. I highly recommend The Curry House.

The food was Ok, but it is also the worst Indian food Ive ever had and also the worst value. I had Chicken Vindaloo, and asked for it to be even more spicy than it already is. It ended up being the least spicy Vindaloo Ive ever eaten. There was probably maybe 3 ounces of chicken mixed with 1 ounce of potatoes in the dish. I had an Iced tea and two Naan breads for $31 before tip. I drank my tea before my meal was delivered and never received a refill. I chose this place because of the great reviews. Id never go back.

This was our 1st visit to this place and for looking it was quite nice, cool and limited space. Coming the food the quality we can say okay and regarding the taste somewhat better can g once in a while. We have ordered Madras Lamb curry and they disappointed us and even same with the Andhra chicken curry, instead of some spicy it was sweet ( don t know what they have added but for every curry they offer some cup of rice as a complimentary). The garlic naan was good . We also tried fish tikka. Finally we can go once and eat but nog with some expectations on their taste. Coming to the service it was good but takes some time after the order.

The food is seriously out of this world every single time my husband and I come here we leave with full belly s a smile and can t wait to come back. idk what it is about the food but every time it makes us feel so energized and happy definitely recommend best Indian food around hands down!!!! EDIT: we went today and the portion is normally pretty small but it s so good it s worth it but today there was literally 5 pieces of chicken in my butter chicken it was kinda disappointing for 17$ I had the gastric bypass so thankfully it was enough to get me full but any normal person would definitely not get full. We assumed it was just different cooks maybe lol so don t recommend for weekends we will be sticking to week days still tasted AMAZING THO!!!
